Been on hold for 3 hrs.. I’ve worked for customer services before and I’m pretty sure this isn’t right no matter how busy they are.. when I do get a hold of them they don’t make any effort to help me with my problems. Going to change pharmacy’s when I can. Very unprofessional!!
One of the best CVS Ive ever visited, staff was cordial and very helpful. My pregnant wife couldnt think of what else she needed and this manager (Kenneth) was sharp! After a few questions he was able to guess that she needed a sleep aid, I both appreciate and would always travel back here just because of the warm welcome and courtesy I felt. More places should be this 5 star.
This location is dirty and smells like they really need to clean the carpet. The two times Ive been here recently, the employees stood directly behind me at the self check out and stared at me while I rang up my items.As a long time customer of another CVS location, I did not appreciate that at all and I would suggest that they focus on cleaning this store and re-training staff because I will not return to this store to have someone make me feel uncomfortable while I pay for my purchases.
I went into CVS this evening with my two young children to get my 5 month old some kind of teething relief. The young gentleman that was fixing the shelves and was very nice but then I get to the woman at the register and she gave me attitude the entire time. Plus 2 of my items were ringing up at regular price when they should have been cheaper so I got the stickers that said the price and name of item etc. she continued to say that the only reason she was adjusting the price is because the stickers were everywhere indicating it was on sale but the sale had expired. My other item was a clearance item that was supposed to be $3.49 she was incredibly rude about it. Then as I was leaving the male manager not doing anything of course he was talking to a group of friends in front of the exit doors and I accidentally hit hit sneaker with my stroller wheel and mind you I was going very slow and backed up immediately I started saying sorry and he rolled his eyes and didn’t say anything back to me. So my opinion they hate their jobs or they just hate life.
For the most part have all promotional items available for the week. The store is clean and staff are helpful. One downside side is when you have security sometimes following you like your gonna steal which is uncomfortable but at the same time it is their job and if you arent doing anything wrong shouldnt be that big of an issue.
This location is horrible I was calling to see if my prescription was ready. I was waiting for someone to pick up for 45 mins . Then i called to speak to someone upfront possibly a manager . A guy named Jason picked up the phone. I asked him if there was someone I could speak to a manager an assistant he said no one was there so I asked again because it’s shocking to hear that not one manger is there to assist with my issue. And Jason hung the phone up on me. I called back and a lady picked up she had an accent she didn’t state her name but she said she was in charge of the store for the night I explained to her that I was on the phone for 45 mins just waiting for someone in the pharmacy to assist me and she was very dismissive and she said all I can do is take your number down and see if they’ll call you back . So I explained to her that it’s 30 mins until you guys close I already waited for 45 mins when do you think they’ll call me. She seemed very annoyed and said all she could do is give the pharmacy my number and maybe they’ll call me back . No one has called me back and now I missed a dose in my medicine . I’m nowhere near a 24 hour CVS and I’m extremely upset with the way they handled me and the situation !!!!
They will scam you! Worst CVS ever. They only make money because there are not many options in the hood. My prescription took days to get processed even though my doctor called it in 5 days earlier, then they automatically wanted to give me the generic even though I told them in person I wanted the brand name because thats what my insurance covers. Then they lied about having the brand name causing me to go on a witch hunt with my insurance to find out why I was getting charged for a prescription thats free of cost. The people at this CVS are thieves, god knows how many people they are charging needlessly for prescriptions that their insurance covers but dont know because they automatically - without asking or informing one of the options - switch it to whichever ones insurance doesnt cover so that the customer has to pay. Consumer Affairs should be investigating this branch for the scheme theyre running and inept staff who treat customers without any respect because the majority of the customers are older, brown/black and poor. I was so disgusted and fed up with them I asked them to fax my prescription to a other branch downtown, and even though this is standard procedure I had to argue with them to do it. I prefer to make a trip downtown to pick up my 3-month supply where the staff provides good service and respects/helps customers and dont scheme me out of money because if they pulled anything like that they know those rich, white customers would be shutting down the store in a heart beat.
WORST CVS EVER! 282 E 149th St, Bronx, NY 10451. Dont waste your money and time going in there. I will never go CVS again. The way they treat the customers there is terrible. This place looks very messy and abandoned. Im surprised this place still open. They constantly accuse customers of stealing. They are very unprofessional especially the manager. They should close this place down and make it to a Walgreens.

2022-02-10Picked up a prescription here because Fulton St computers were down. Was told by Fulton pharmacy script costs 6.77. E 149th charges 13.89. Pharmacists were very nice but that pricing matter is sus. The shelves here were empty and disheveled. Boxes and bottles knocked over. Fulton St is a complete 180. The seating at pharmacy was dirty. The entry/exit is dirty. There is trash all over the floor. Just an unsightly, unprofessional mess. Management seems nonexistent. “Community” clearly messes up store too. Then we get upset when stores close down in our neighborhoods. The neighborhood is a direct reflection of the residents. If the store and street is trashed then….This CVS is a prime example of why moving to the Bronx should be a last resort. The borough is just gross and residents and business owners don’t care. I would never get vaxxed here and will never shop here again. Wish I took pics.

2022-01-16This used to be the best cvs in the area...the pharmacy is great but empty shelves. poor security - especially when you are waiting at the pharmacy drop off line....How you gonna send a security posing a clerk with walkie talkie about keep an eye on the guy with the red bag - then go over there!!! Another time a all the most of the center isles where blocked with huge stocking carts and I have to walk to the far left of the store (last isle) to get out and boom someone is following me gtfoh ya had all types of thieves coming in and out the store for the longest and this is how ya treat the rest of descent people leftManagement do better bunch of 🤡

2019-01-11Very very expensive here. Not a great selection, no one is ever available to help you find anything because of course everything is everywhere (no real order) and the line wait sucks even for express checkout!!!!! Hey maybe it was just my experience, no wait its like that every time I sure hope you have better luck!!!Enjoy!!!

2021-08-24I couldnt go in store to pick up my prescription so my mother went for me. When she got home with my medication, I realized I was prescribed something that I could purchase over the counter for around $10. The CVS pharmacy went ahead and charged me $40 for something I could find OTC for $10. THIEVES. How could you, as a pharmacy, take advantage of people during these difficult times? I recommend that everyone does their research on the medication they have been prescribed and whether or not it could be found over the counter because these pharmacists have no moral compass and will charge you 4 times the amount for your medication. Its truly shameful.

2021-04-23Ive just had my 2nd vaccine and Im so happy Im done. Now I keep wearing my mask and take it one day at a time.. Its been a Wonderful experience at this CVS Store . Very Courteous , professional and smooth sailing . Thank you to all at the store.

2021-01-19If I could give 0 stars for the nastiness from the manager I would. Went here for 10 pictures prints people, that were supposed to be ready when I got there. Waited 10plus mins in the CASHIER line for them to tell me that I had to wait for the manager to come up to release the photos. So at that point I’m confused because the email they sent me said nothing about that. It told me to pick up photos at the photos center which they didn’t even have. I had to ask a staff member where the pick the photos up. Anyways, so they call for Tasha who is the manager! So at this point I’m in a rush I just want to pick them up and go, which was why I did them online in the first place. I asked will it take long? The cashiers said no but you know how you can tell when someone is just telling you something to keep you patient, yea that’s what they was doing. So I left and called because I wanted to make sure they were ready this time when I came back. The manager come to the phone after I was left on hold. I tell her that I wanted to know when my prints would be ready immediately she interrupts me to tell me I have to pick them up at the register. Although, if she would have let me finish speaking I could have told her what happened at the register when I did come. So at that point I tell her that I waited for 10 plus mins and she interrupts me again to tell me “you were not waiting for 10 minutes mama I came right up” ! MEANWHILE if she would have let me finish I could have said IN LINE BEFORE BEING TOLD I HAD TO WAIT FOR HER TO COME PRINT PICTURES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ! Because the email they sent me said approximately 1 hour to pick up. I’m like okay the rudeness is not necessary, at this point I just don’t even want to go back there. It’s not my fault you got two people on register moving slow and not wearing their mask properly and 1000 people at the pharmacy! I will never go HERE AGAIN FOR ANYTHING! Tasha you should get a new job if the one you have is to stressful for you MAMA ! I waited patiently for 10mins for something I shouldn’t have been waiting for in the first place. SO for you to tell me I didn’t when I did is rude and very unprofessional cause you could have just apologized and we could have went from there ! No people skills at all ! PRAYING FOR ALL OF THE WORKERS THERE !
