CVS in other cities:
Thus CVS is horrible there are always long lines and waits even if there are a small amount of customers the pharmacy crew and pharmacist are incredibly unprofessional and always have an attitude and speak to customers with a condescending time and disrespectful they are not friendly at all and have messed up on my medication quantity...I do not and would not trust them with my medication again that was so unprofessional and dangerous...beware of this Location
The staff was great apart from one worker specifically in the pharmaceutical area of the store. The employees name is Vanessa, at least I was told that by the licensed doctor that provided me with my Vaccine (which she did a lovely job, this review is more of a specific review of that employee). Not only was Vanessa un-caring and unwilling to assist clients who simply wanted to receive their own vaccine soon, she was incredibly rude not just to myself but to the 3 people that were on line with me on May 6th, around 10:55 AM. After waiting for contact from this employee we approached her to ask if she would be checking in people for the vaccine she waved us off and told us that we need to go to the front in order to get checked in first which was fine but all 3 of us on line at the same time got to the front check in where we didn’t see any employee and luckily (as so we thought) Vanessa was passing by to step outside for a moment and we were asking to see where it was that she wanted us to check in because we didn’t see any employee at the desk where they were supposed to be at the time and she replied verbatim: “This is where you get checked in you have to wait for the guy to clock in” with the worst attitude I have seen in my days and walked especially given my experience with customer service and managing my own team in my business. The owner or supposed manager (tall gentleman with a with shirt on that day) was around when the scenario took place and stated that he will be speaking to said employee about that situation. We saw her arrived once again and walked passed the gentleman and I doubt he had the chance to address what had gone down. Fast forward we get the vaccine check in require to proceed we are sent back to Vanessa only to not get any eye contact, “let me have your card” and just waves us to Aisle 10 to wait for the vaccine. Now the bad part if it wasn’t bad enough, I witness another customer speaking to another counter pharmacy employee who was wonderful and tried to explain to the client even beyond the language barrier to inform the client about the appointment system for the vaccine. Vanessa then intervene in the customer’s language to simply tell the client in translation “everything is online we can’t do anything for you in store”, which could’ve been an opportunity to help the client make an appointment even after the client stated that they nor their family knows how to operate a computer well enough to make an appointment and mentioned the only other way is to wait for everything to be a walk in for the vaccine before I can step in and help the client the client then walked off , mad Of course because of the lack of help and urgency of this Vanessa Employee.
The place had a variety of things to choose from. Also the people that work there were polite, and nice. Plus the best part of the whole Pharmacy is that they care for the wellbeing of the people that come in to the place and the whole community so I love that place and cant wait to go back for more of the good experience they show at the CVS Pharmacy
The store is dirty. The Pharmacy staff is slow, overworked and more interested in filling prescriptions than engaging the customers at any of the counters. They have no Spanish speaking staff and thereby fumble and waist time to figure out a customers needs. They need to extend their prescription filing cabinets. They are overstuffing the available bins. The pharmacist are cold, standoffish and smug. They act as if they are too important to speak to the customer. No one offered to address my concerns. There were no signs of leadership or standards of measure for accountability of service. Another national chain that reduce their service in poor neighborhoods and dont see the need to maintain high standards in a poor ghetto community. What a shame !!! It took me 15 minutes to get my prescriptions.
This has happened several times where I go shop and look around and I see the security guard watching me. This makes my experience very uncomfortable and it’s very unnecessary. I have been to this cvs so many times and always pay for everything I buy. This is the ONLY CVS that DOES THIS TO ME. I don’t appreciate having a security smelling my a$% and following my EVERY move. It’s this dark skinny tall guy who is the security guard. Who worked TODAY.
I Love the store and location is so convenient for me but I always call and I am never able to speak to a pharmacy person, I have about Four days trying to reach the pharmacy for important refill and unfortunately no one has talked to me yet, I guess I will need to stop by the store soon.
During the month of 07/20 all I can say is the customer service is ((Horrible)) the manager sent someone over to keep a eye on us. The person did not even ask if we need help. The manger let me know this was all based on the color of a black mans skin. The woman security guard who works there is also works there is very unprofessional. They just lost another customer and sure. My money will go where I’m more comfortable.
Today, may 15, i went to the pharmacy to pick up a medication. i was in the line outside for almost 30 minutes i saw this lady walking in the store and she said was a first responder. then it was my turn to walk into the store to get my sons medication. she wasnt in the line so she can go into the store to buy something from inside the store . i saw her touching everything with her bare hands without any gloves. she was even touching the keypad for you to used the credit card to pay. i think the cashier shouldve told her something because if she doesnt have her gloves on she can pass on the covid-19 on to other people and it can even to old people and they could get really sick. i just wanted to send this because i think the staff couldve said something then being shut
So far every time I have gone there the staff has been helpful and kind. The pharmacy part is also nice. It can take long but, I know it can get busy, so its understandable and they act with courtesy. Wish they offered tote bags; I have to ask next time I go. I seem to stop by to grab what I need more than once a week.
HorribleCustomer service. No one answers the phone to the pharmacy, and when you are there you have to wait over 10 minutes to give in your prescription. They tell you theres the drop off section however no one is available to help you. 8 people working and 8 people on line I dont understand. Lines are always crazy and when you finally put in your prescription its an hour wait and your in pain because they are backed up which should not be the customers problem. If I can rate this a ZERO I WOUlD!!!
On 7/7/2020 I witness a African American couple treated bad in front of everyone. The employees manger and security guard held up the exit. The young lady at the cashier register left her work to yell and scream at the couple by the exit. The security guard began pointing and jumping at the man outside running towards the door blocking customers from leaving causing a seen. This is a very sad situation I will think twice about this location.
This is the worst cvs, rude employees, no one is ever at the register and when they are its one or two slow workers with a line 10+ deep. The store itself is dirty, disheveled and unpleasant. The freezers are always broken and you generally just feel sad being in there.
The pharmacist is horrible had to go her to get my sons medication to be told a lie about how they dont except our insurance. I have been getting my scripts filled at cvs will the same insurance for years. The pharmacist just was not in the mood to do his job. Cvs just lost me as a customer for good.
Will never go back to this CVS pharmacy the staff was rude. I stood at the drop off window waiting for 15 mins and no one even acknowledged me all staff was on the phone with no one to help customers who were physically there. The actual pharmacist had to put his call on hold and asked one of the technician who at this point was not on the phone to help me. Rude staff with an attitude problem. This CVS Pharmacy sucks!
Be very careful at the self checkout machine I went there last wk to make a purchase and got cash bk $40 which the machine spit out two $20 bills soon as I noticed one of the bills were counterfeit I went and spoke with the manager who told me she wouldnt be able to give me the money bk because it came from the machine and the machine doesnt accept counterfeit money so I asked for the number of the company who cashes out the machines and she then informed me that they do cash out in the store at the end of the day so it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out someone obviously doing the cashout had to place it there smh! So I called cooperate office to informed them so I get a call bk from a manager at another location 2 days lata asking me if Id like $10 in store bucks I said absolutely not! So I took the counterfeit 20 in the receipts to the precinct along with my receipt so it can be sent to the secret service I hope they get investigated and found out.
The staff was rude a female worker in the pharmacy asked to use the bathrm n the wrker lied n said it was out of service but whn i asked in the front the lady let me right in w/out a problem the bathrm was never out of order she was being lazy not to open the door n had a rude nasty attitude..

2022-03-30The worst pharmacy to pick up prescription the staff are very slow inside a group talk and talk, outside a large line with many people waiting, just one person working slow like she sleeping basically. How it is possible a pharmacy have a group staff instead to help the customers they take forever, I made the the line for pick up around 20 minutes the worker don’t said hello, good morning, when I give my information you don’t have anything ready I know they that I supposed to pick and she gave this answers, go to the another aside where another long line just with one persons as well. CVS pharmacy definitely is a large company but most of the location the staff that work inside specially at the pharmacy they don’t have the preparation and education to work.

2022-03-10I called multiple times over the past week to get more information/updates about a prescription the pharmacy couldn’t fill right away because the medication was out of stock. Each time I called, I waited 15 minutes or longer on hold just to speak to a staff member—often, when they finally picked up, they couldn’t answer my question and then proceeded put me BACK on hold to go ask one of their colleagues. This turned into me waiting an extra 10+ minutes for them to get back. After DAYS of waiting for them to get my medication back in stock, I called again to ask if they had an update (they had told me days earlier that they’d send me a text or give me a call to tell me I could pick up my prescription once they got the shipment in). As usual, I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to pick up, and, when they did, they put me on hold again almost immediately to go check on whatever…lo and behold, the medication had come in but they never bothered to contact me.It shouldn’t fall on the customer to continually call and call CVS about the meds they need when they were expressly told by pharmacy staff that they would be notified BY CVS when the shipment came in. At this time, I’ve gone days without a necessary medication simply because CVS staff couldn’t be bothered to fulfill their most foundational job duties.Presuming these kinds of issues could be absolved by 1) training pharmacy staff properly and/or 2) requiring the head pharmacist to undergo management training, maybe people wouldn’t have the same problems with this CVS. I’ll most definitely be changing my pharmacy.

2022-03-17Jesus Christ the wait is crazy, they only have 1 pharmacist serving 30 people smh, wouldn’t it be smart to have 3 pharmacist for pick up? Or if the line gets long like it always do isn’t it common sense for the rest of the workers to stop what their doing to help all these customers on line?

2022-07-01I like cvs depending on which one you go to youll find good prices and a pretty good selection of items I havent used the pharmacy but the rest of the store is nice, they accept most major credit cards and also SNAP ( food stamps) I would definitely recommend it.

2021-10-28Horrible young male of color (wears glasses) refused to allow me in the store 1 min post catorce closure. I explained I was car stranded, lived far and just needed to get a car battery. No compassion whatsoever. I also asked another man who was stocking delivery. He was useless! Security guard (female) guided me and told me where the nearest 99 cent store was. They should NOT have people working like them. Shame on them. Zero customer service skills.

2021-12-27A girl by the name of Ariana was very unprofessional and rude. She was on the phone through out my whole experience there and reluctant to provide service. She then narrated my business to whom ever she was on the phone with.

2022-01-03If I could give this Pharmacy no stars I would. I’ve been calling and been on hold for over 2 hours to confirm or not if I can pick up my daughters medication at this location since the 161st street location is now closed. I don’t want to risk going and no one can help. If I do get transferred to the pharmacy they just hang up every time. Like how unprofessional is that.

2021-07-10Poor customer service in the pharmacy department. The wait time on line for pick up is about a hour. Only one person working on the register meanwhile plenty of staff in the back of the counter who won’t even take the initiative to help bring the line down which is wrapped around other aisle. On several occasions I came to pick up prescriptions and was told there was nothing there. when I indeed knew my doctor sent over a prescription. my doctors office had to call over this location several times and they never took the initiative to look to see that I have two insurance plans and one may cover when the other dont. When you asked to check their system to be for certain all I got was rude attitude. Done with CVS location.

2022-05-13Attitude is worse than their paycheck. Wanna be rockstars, who live their fantasy through the people who help them get their paychecks.
