CVS in other cities:
Words cannot express how terrible this CVS is. The Pharmacy never picks up, even in life and death situations. My doctors office cant get through. Their pharmacy staff literally do nothing but make jokes and talk to one another. Im going to include a screencap of how long Ive been on hold with this gross CVS.They dont answer the phone and now I have no choice, but to drive all the way down there to refill my diabetic dads prescriptions.Yall need to do something about your terrible management. Shame on you.
The only reason I come here is its 24hr and it has parking.Theyre always understaffed in the pharmacy, theres always a line. They are advertising the flu shot but its packed and Im waiting, after making an appt online. The staff are polite, professional and really try their best. Guess corporate does not seem this location worthy of better staffing .
I had a very bad experience last Saturday July 31st, 2021. I drove my son to take his second Covid shot and when I got there, they asked me if I was not texted because there was no more Vaccine at that store. The pharmacist couldnt (or wanted to) tell me when they were going to have new batch of vaccines. The issue and concern I had was, no one called me or texted me about this change. As a worried parent now I had my son who was supposed to get his second shot in limbo, I didnt know where to go or if I should have waited because CVS didnt want to tell me anything. Now, we hear that the Bronx is at 50% vaccine rate, now I understand why. We dont have enough site to have the vaccine, and the pharmacies are not really prepared to do a good job. I drove from Throg Neck, do you think other people will go that far if they wouldnt drive? Go figure! The city doesnt really do a good job bringing the vaccine to the people. They want people to take a train for more than hour to go to the city or to other main site for something that should be openly available everywhere. After going to 3 pharmacies, and going back twice to the last one, I was able to get my second shot for my son. Crazy!

The pharmacist is incredibly rude… He acts like his job is a favor! I even asked him if he was a pharmacist after seen his body language and the way he responded, because I was shocked. “What does it matter” after asking for a remedy for a bad sun burn. Great job dude… you should check your attitude if you want to work with people… or change your career!
If you call the pharmacy to get an update good luck, I have called on different occassions regarding the medication and no one picks up. I was on hold 30 minutes. I had to go all the way there just to be told the insurance didnt authorize. If I wouldve been notified I could have reached out to my doctor to contact insurance, but because of that more than a week later and I do not have the medication. The insurance finally approved and the doctor tried calling to dispense the medication nothing ! Someone needs to pick up the phone to follow up.
Never experienced such awful Service from a CVS. Had to come down 3 different times about bein. Left on hold for over an hour twice to get the same prescription that wasn’t ready because they couldn’t find it before. On a side note this is the same cvs we always get our medication . Now I’m here a third time for today and have been waiting almost an hour for my prescription. There has to be a better excuse then we’re short staffed.. this is way too big or a company to have such poor customer service.no one should ever have to wait 10 hours for their medication .. I will drive 10 miles before i ever come here again.
Worst CVS store in the Bronx because the staff are super lazy unless you go in the middle of the night when people are actually working. Nikki, the lady who works in the beauty section, is brash and nasty as is the heavy set lady Jennifer who greets some customers and not others. Shes rude with a chip on her shoulder. The pharmacy staff are nice and handle the long lines well on most days.
This place has one of the worst pharmacies in the Bronx. They NEVER answer their phones. Ive had other pharmacies and even DOCTORS put on hold for 30+ minutes for simple questions about prescriptions. My pharmacist was HUNG UP ON while on hold. TWICE. If you rely on your medication, look elsewhere. This CVS will NOT take good care of you. The people here are terrible, lazy individuals, who shouldnt be doing the work that they do.
The worst CVA ever. Dont try calling them during the day for any medication because you will never get a pick up. They press the button to ignore the call. Only time they pick up is at night and they are very rude when they do pick up the phone, they dont apologize at all. That is the worst Pharmacy I have EVER been.
This CVS has always been my to-go in all hours of the day (and night). The employees always greets us upon entering and leaving the store. Never had any issues, the staff are always friendly and helpful and store is always well stocked and organized. Thank you for always accommodating me!
Horrible pharmacy service. I called to inform them to fill out a prescription they confirmed everything was good and I could pick up medication in 1hour. I sent my daughter to get the medication and they gave her a hard time in regards to approving the medication through the insurance , when she passed the phone to the pharmacy attendant he was so rude and nasty and unwilling to help. I am totally disputed with their customer service and communication skills, I will never ever fill up my daughters medication here or any of my family’s for that matter. I will stick to the small pharmacy’s were there customer service is so much better and they are so much more polite.
This store is highly unorganized. The pharmacy department is horrible. My doctor prescribes meds however they never receive it. When you pick up meds the line is always extremely long because the unorganization trickles down from management to front desk/cashier staff. The cashiers always appear to be annoyed and get upset when the customer asks any questions. Calling the store is a chore as well, if you call for reason be prepared to be placed on hold for atleast 1 hour to later be told to call back later.I will be asking my prescriptions be sent to Walgreens in addition to emailing corporate.
I was customer of CVS pharmacy last 6 years of various locations of NYC , Recently ( about a month back) I moved to Bronx from Queens, So I was looking CVS pharmacy in the Bronx which is closed to my residence , So I found this pharmacy because it was close to my residence where I live, Upon my request, my doctors office sent prescription to this pharmacy, Initially despite 4 days, they havent prepared my medicine, When I try to call several times to this pharmacy no body picking up the call and goes to machine set voicemail. Finally went and ask this pharmacy, the pharmacist in the counter says they havent received , I called my doctors office they said they already sent twice prescription and said send it again , But even after 4 times repeatedly sending prescription these CVS pharmacy tells that they havent received , Moreover I requested them to check but the pharmacist instead of checking or reporting matter to her manager, she acts like helpless , I asked about her manager but she said they are busy , Then I contacted CVS store Manager , I explained that how hard to get medicines for me and no one there in pharmacy to help me , If it is emergency what they do , She said pharmacy department doesnt come in her section, They have their separate manager . I told her that it is hard to find pharmacy manager for me , then she agreed to talk about this matter with Pharmacy Manager who always sit inside his/her cabin she went inside the cabin of pharmacy manager but what she was informed by Pharmacy manager is that doctors referral not received. However Pharmacy Manger dint come outside , neither tried or inquireddoctors office that problem that not receiving prescriptions The Pharmacy manager hiding inside his/her cabin like a lazy rat. I have seen a lot of mangers if problem is not solved they will try whats the reason behind it why they dont receive electronic referal But this pharmacy manger acts like this matter doesnt come in his/her area of service , What a shame !!! I appreciate about CVS store manager, who at least tried her best with Pharma manger about my matter .even though matter not solved , So I was thinking to move other pharmacies , Before I wanted to move other pharmacies I directly went to my Doctors office and talked with their Office Manager explaining him my matter of medicines that I hard to get in CVS store , He assured me that he want to make sure that I will get medicine within 24 hours, So I went to CVS store again for the last time I got medicines Im grateful to my doctors office But for this pharmacy not eligible to get even Zero stars and the manager of this pharmacy is a ghost seems, never seen, sits inside his/her cave, hesitate interact with customers, seems lack of working in fast paced environment , I dont recommend this C
The store is ok, pharmacy IS NOT. I had to go in three times to get an electronic prescription filled. Finally got it, now I keep getting texts and calls about refilling. Have said no, but keep getting calls and messages. Called them and you are on hold forever, even got a manager involved to get them to answer the phone. Still on hold. Will never use the pharmacy again, changed to Walgreens.
I love this 24HR CVS Pharmacy, It is near where I live. The Pharmacist are very nice helpful here. The overnight hours are the time to come here its very fast and easy and general store supplies are. FYI CVS I need more discount please I shop a lot thank you very much....
One star because of the phone service. The absolute WORST phone service since the phone was invented. Look forward to 35-40 minute wait times for your call to be answered in the pharmacy. An absolute disgrace. Inside the store, its actually very good, until you get behind the 98 year old idiot who will take 6-7 hours to get their prescriptions. Thats not the staffs fault. But, the phone service is an embarrassment to this corporation. An absolute abysmal disgrace, and the pharmacy staff should be fired and ashamed.
This is the worst pharmacy. Phone wait time is horrendous!!!! 30 mins, 40...1 hr!!!!!! Forget about calling them. Its like the phones in the department dont exist! Further more, they miss so many auto-refills! I have to constantly call in refills. I gotta find a new neighborhood pharmacy. This is nothing like the old STOP N SHOP pharmacy on Eastchester rd.
My very first time at this store today and it was amazing , This store is so clean and well stocked,Thanks Nina for the best customer service Ive had in a longgggggggg and Also Christina for helping me with my last transaction everything was so smooth loved it !! Everyone in there is so kind and friendly, will keep coming more often to this CVS
I recieved a text about my prescription not being able to be refilled and i have been trying for days to reach the pharmacy. THEY DONT PICK UP THE PHONE. I have to find time to physically go over there. I call the front of the store and they just say they are backed up and transfer me to hold. So unprofessional.
Ive been waiting for my sons RX to get preauth. I was told should take a couple of days & havent heard back from them. Ive called multiple times and havent spoken to any one been on hold every time for more the 30mins plus (NEVER LESS) Each time i have to disconnect no one picks up. Horrible
Not sure what is wrong. It happened two times in the past. They dont receive electronic prescriptions sent by physicians. From Two different practices and different electronic medical record systems. Staff are not interested in resolving such issues. I will better go to a different pharmacy next time.
The pharmacy is the worst. They take forever to take your order. They give you a time frame when to pick up your make up and when you come to pick it up its never ready and you have to wait there another 15 minutes for it to be ready. They got the worst pharmacy going I ever been too.
I was told by the manager that I could take my business to Walgreens or stop & shop but he wont let me swipe my Debit card which has my picture on it cause the chip on the card was not reading even though I swipe my card everywhere else and they allow it. I showed my ID too but he didnt care. All this for gallon of milk, what a shame.
Lazy staffs, allways on their mobile phones, pharmacy line is unbelievable worser than collecting welfare check, its amazing this still operating, promised meds to customer 7:30 pm, 8pm arrival arrogant cashier tells customers come back next day morning, who is really running this crapy place

2022-02-18I’m glad that this location is open 24 hours because I have to come at 6am in order to pick up prescriptions because the lines are so long during normal business hours. Don’t even try calling, usual wait times are above 45 minutes to get someone on the phone and most of the time they hang up. Wish I could give more stars because the workers I have encountered are pleasant but the wait times are unheard of.

2022-06-18Left an Urgent Care Center around 1:50pm on 6/17/22. My prescription was called in and promised by 2:37pm. I get to CVS just before 7pm and was told it was not ready. I had to wait over 15 minutes for it to be filled. I get home and go to take my medicine and notice there is a little piece of shiny paper floating in the bottle I received. I called to speak to the pharmacy and was on hold for over an hour and no one ever picked up. While holding I called from my cell phone, spoke to a girl named Tiffany and she transferred me to the manager who then transferred me internally to the pharmacy and they still didnt pick up after being on hold almost 20 minutes. This CVS is the worst. Im so mad my jobs insurance switched to CVS because I never had issues when the insurance dealt with Walgreens.

2022-05-25I’ve waiting 1 month for a prescription for my father. I keep getting the phone calls from CVS saying my prescription is ready and when i get there i wait 20 minutes in the line for them to tell me its out of stock. I told them to order it and they said i should come tomorrow to pick it up so this is the 6th time i go there this month and today again they told me come tomorrow cause we dont have it. You can’t call and you can’t complain anywhere! Very unprofessional and rude! Wish i could give them 0 stars

2022-03-21This location is getting emptier everyday.Even the photo printing service does not work. The only benefit is that is 24hr open but when you need that medication the shelf is empty...!If you need to transfer any prescription drug to another pharmacy they NEVER pick up the phone!!Avoid going here!

2022-04-21I had a terrible customer experience. The shift lead at the time took no accountability for printing my wedding photos incorrectly. They also claimed that I cropped the photos when they were being uploaded which is not true.

2022-01-07Avoid this place like the plague! Horrible service in person, dont even try through the phone. It took me 2 days - 3 trips - to get the meds. Since I needed the meds same day I went to another pharmacy and had to pay for the rx because this CVS had already billed the insurance. Bad management, slow staff, only one pharmacist attending. There are many other pharmacies that will deliver to your door for free and no hassle. Move your business elsewhere.

2022-04-13Very unprofessional manager at this store , she give actitud and corporal bad language to a customer, and send someone else to help the customer instead of helping herself. Is unprofessional. Her mane is MELISSA, she need go to training.

2021-11-24Parking lot is dangerous. Need arrows painted on floor aside from the ones by the parking lot entrances to direct traffic the flow of traffic around the parking lot.The staff has always been very nice as well as the pharmacy staff but since no direction of traffic it makes coming to this location hazardous especially for senior or mobility impaired clients. Please do something to address this issue and make it safer for your loyal clients.

2021-12-08There’s no point in calling the pharmacy because they never answer. I have been on hold for more than an hour. I mean I went to the cvs and showed them I was placed on hold for more than an hour and they were just talking among themselves. They only start moving when the see they have a line for pick ups. Sometimes my prescriptions say they ready on the app and they aren’t I’m told to wait 15-20 minutes. It’s disappointing honestly.
