CVS in other cities:
Terrible. Wont answer the phone. They dont seem to know what they are doing. Half of the time the staff here sit around talking to each other. Does HR even screen people anymore? Very unprofessional. Not to mention all the junkies begging for change outside. Avoid this place if you can. There are better pharmacies and drug stores in Yonkers.
Calling and they never pick up no matter what time of day! How does corporate allowed this to go on if your customers can contact you how are you supposed to make sales or rectified problems ! if this is how they like their locations run just keep doing what youre doing and youll be out of business soon enough.
This place needs to be under criminal investigation, not only do the employees look scared, but they charge you $1.50 dollars some face masks. People are literally dying and they’re using every dirty trick to make as much money as possible. For a store that claims it “cares about your health” they treat ALL their employees like dirt. NEVER buying something from a place where I feel bad for employees. 1.50 for a facemask in a pandemic??? MTA gives them to me for FREE.
If I cloud give this place 0 stars I would! By far the worst pharmacy ever the girls are rude. And forget calling them! They never pick up I’ve been waiting an hours just to talk to someone mind you I’m returning a call from them. Stay away from this place I will be changing pharmacy only reason I use this place is because it’s close to my house. Very irresponsible people why bother working if you can’t do your job right and treat your customers (who by the way pay your salary)
It is the worst service I ever got from CVS. I always get warm welcoming from other store. This stores service is cold and disrespectful. I asked where is the ATM when I walked into the store, the service people even did not look at me, did not say one word, use the nose to point somewhere. I will never buy anything from this store. In addition, they do not have parking lot, the towing guy is howling around to catch people who is not coming to shop. It is the worst ever shopping experience I ever had. I hope there is someone could take responsibility about it.
I usually enjoy coming here. But when ever the manager Amad is here. He is very rude. After insisting on using the self check out area, I was unable to use a coupon. Which is why I did not want to use the self check out because that’s usually the problem. But he went on that I had to use the machine as he had no intention on helping me at the register. Amad was the only person in the front at the time. He is not friendly nor helpful. If he had only helped me at the register I would have not spent 20 minutes dealing with coupons and rewards that were sent to my card. Besides him I have no problem with the girls that work here. They always greet you with a smile and are not hesitant to help you.
I have shopped here for years. Today I had the worse experience at the pharmacy with an cashier named LUPE. She was rude and laughed and smirked when I said I was calling corporate. I work in healthcare and customer service is number 1 with customers and patients. Apparently with CVS this is not the case. I will never go back. I will go back to the mom and pop pharmacies where people treat you with respect and people actually like what they do.
Unfortunately, I no longer pick up my prescriptions or shop here anymore. The first issue I have with this pharmacy is, CUSTOMER SERVICE! The management in this perticular store really need to train their employees on that issue. Very surly, rude and every time I visit, the same problem. The other problems with this store is, cleanliness of the store! Dirty front end, certain areas are never stocked and dirty.I now pick up my prescriptions at the newCVS on Nepperhan Ave. Better customer service, well lit and clean store. It’s unfortunate that I have to go across town to pick up my medication. I live right across the street from the pharmacy!
The store itself is fine as for pharmacy the girls they have back there should only be checkers and stockers they have no idea what they are doing. Refiling a prescription every time is a problem they dont seem to care that I need these pills for my heart. I hate to interrupt there little party but I need my pills!
First off there is never anyone at the photo stand, and no one ever wants to help. no even answers the phone. i was on the phone for over an hour and no one wanted to pick up i just wanted to see if my photos were done, which would take about a minute of their time or less! honestly i have never been to a worse cvs in my life !
This place is ran by incompetence. The one reason I go here is to get a gallon of milk at a low price but the rest of the store seems obsolete. Prices are jacked up, displays are backed up and the money order system is always down. If it wasnt for the pharmacy aspect of the establishment ripping the elderly community off, it would have shut down as fast as it opened. Good luck!
Got a $65 Towing ticket, which I had to pay Cash $$ or my car would be Towed away; for not going inside the store to shop and immediately coming out. I had a job interview that took 15-min before I could go to shop for some energy drinks inside the store. The towing guy said CVS called him. Never going to shop at here again...!!! 😡😡😡😡
Piranha, I walked out of CVS parking lot to go to an ATM one block away.I was gone 8 minutes.(ATM Receipt) He placed a boot on my car and demanded cash to remove boot. This was at 2:32 pm. He mentioned that I walked right past him. He said nothing. Piranha In the Parking Lot
This is the worst pharmacy ever !!! Their computer crashes and my prescription doesn’t go through .... no call .... no call to my doctor ... I follow up ... three times I have to call and am on hold for 25 mins each time !!! They call to say the prescription is in. I go to pick it up and they say it isn’t ready 20 min wait ?!!!! This is ridiculous !! You lost a costumer!!

2022-03-09I read the other responses before deciding to add my own. Most CVS are very understaffed and it doesn’t matter which one you go to, especially the pharmacy section, because the company is pushing for high volume customers flow. This is unfortunate because when you get a new prescription from your doctor, you are told to discuss with your pharmacist, about the prescription for side effects or interaction with current medications, which if you could call in prior to picking it up, will make pickup easier. I believe that CVS has changed the hours of the pharmacy open hours (lowered the hours open) and now closes the department for a “lunch “ period which is reasonable but what is unsaid is that they have a staffing problem issue because they don’t have enough individuals because of the other tasks that they are required to do. ( Flu and COVID-19 shots, and COVID-19 testing). This might explain why there’s no answer if you call the pharmacy. All the other issues described by the others, like the register problems for check out in the front of the store is also caused by lack of dedicated staffing at the register because CVS demands their employees multi-task —an effect of controlled labor budget to achieve the bottom line profit and I have yet to find any CVS that is run different. Personally I feel that the corporation could expend a bit more money on more staffing if they hire more efficient employees who don’t need supervision to do their job requirements. As for the surrounding neighborhood outside the store, it is a combo gentrified and semi-low income which is why one may encounter begging in the parking lot, I only concern myself with the conditions of the store for my needs. But all CVS are run exactly the same—low staffing on the floor, long lines for checkout, understaffing with limited access at the pharmacy. It doesn’t matter which one I go to.

2022-03-23Service is courteous but sooooo slow. The line at the pharmacy is always long, every day of the week. They dont staff it with enough employees to address the number of customers, even when there are other employees at the store...They also dont answer the phone in the pharmacy, so even small inquiries take a long time because you have to wait in the long lines for everything.

2022-06-22Fine inventory. Never ever send your packages to this location. Half the time, they end up growing legs and walking away.

2022-03-04This is the most ghetto CVS I have ever been to. There are no shopping carts or baskets. When you ask for one, they tell you to use one from the Shoprite located downstairs. No greeting as you walk in. They pick and choose which products are behind lock and key. Their lost prevention specialist has a disgusting attitude when you ask for her to unlock it. You’re better off going to the register to checkout. The self-checkout machines are faulty and need an associate every time you scan something. SO ANNOYING. There is one male associate with glasses and locs in his hair, said his name was John. He is the most unpersonable, unhelpful and rude associate I ever met. He acts as if we, the CUSTOMER is doing him a favor. The only saving grace was Kewan, Kevan, Kwan (might be saying it wrong). He was so nice and helpful and made the checkout process a breeze. He apologized for all the faults and flaws of the store and understood my frustrations.

2022-01-05Terrible! You sit in the phone queue for a half hour or more just to have them hang up on you in the pharmacy. I am trying to assist my elderly parents by phone, who are not tech savvy and cannot get through. I would avoid this place.

2021-10-04The pharmacist there are so rude and nasty.I had a problem with them in the past and I had to report them to the manager.Fast forward presently I received a text message saying that my prescription was delivered, so I checked my mail box but there was no prescription.I called the pharmacy to let them know but the woman who took my call was rude and she said that she cant stay on the phone as if I didnt matter and didnt care if my medication was lost.It is true that if you call the pharmacy department, call wait time is super long, and when or if you get someone on the line, they are so rude.Im so done with this place!

2022-01-13Half an hour on the phone waiting. Then another half an hour. Went here and saw that all the reviews were the same. Guess I will have to drive there.
