This review is for the Pharmacy. I understand the possibility of delay due to Covid-19, however every time I had a prescription filled there for the past year, they were out of stock of my medication and I was stuck waiting for DAYS. Also, there is no excuse that I have been calling for 3 days and put on hold for almost an hour each time, only to get a hold of NO ONE. I spoke with a store manager that tried to pass my message on to the pharmacy, but nothing. This is a serious matter for medication and to be ignored in every attempt is uncalled for, especially if this place is “24/7”. I will never give this place my business anymore.
Multiple times Ive arrived at this location to pickup medication that I was told was ready over the phone and it is not ready when I get there.The Pharmacy has no regard peoples time and has given incorrect doses of medication. I watched 5 people yesterday with the same issue of misinformation and incorrect dosage.(How do I know? There is NO confidentiality practices at this location, you just shout out to the world what you need and what you came for there.) OVERRALL: If you dont have to go to this location do not go. I am going to leave CVS altogether for 2yrs theyve had issues and I am done.
Made an appointment for four flu shots. Pharmacist tried running my prescription card instead of my insurance cards first. They called everyone else who came after us. We waited one hour before my children were called. I had to interject to question why when the pharmacist knew we had waited and willingly took everyone else. This is extremely upsetting and I had to ask if we were being discriminated against.
This location is horrible the pharmacy never picks up the phone even late at night when you know no one is there. They never have prescription ready when they are suppose to and the staff isn’t helpful. The rest of the store is dirty, i was disgusted. The staff is rude and expect you - with a wagon bc they don’t have baskets - to get around blocked aisles and when you ask them to move some of the stuff they tell you there is a whole store for you to walk around to get to the spot you need!! They never offer a bag either
This CVS store is missing something. I cant quite figure it out. But it may be a lack of quality management keeping the store in order, neat, clean and organized. It is certainly convenient for people in the area but a just doesnt have the CVS touch. It is a big store and the aisles just go every which way and it lacks a customer friendly pattern. They now have groceries which tend to be high priced. What more can be said? Its on a busy corner in North East Yonkers next at the Tanglewood shopping center. Give it a try if you dont get your medications theyre already!.
I came in to return nicotine patches purchased but never used. They would not let me return it. It was purchased from them not used why can’t I return them if not used ? the managers name is Jahomy. he was rude to me and lied straight to my face. i worked for 3 different cvs’s and i know that returns are allowed without a receipt as long as the item is not opened and returned quick.
Would have been a normal experience if I did not have Joe Almanzar as my cashier. Went at 10:15 pm and purchased one item and he did not say one word to me, no “hello” or “how are you” of any sorts. Then I asked if I can use my coupon, without saying sorry or even a single word, he canceled the transaction. I waited until I realized I had to type in my phone number to bring up my member coupon, which he did not verbalize at all. When he gave me my reciept, he did not say one word at all. My boyfriend was then making a separate transaction and he did not ask for his cvs card, as he also didn’t with me. I asked if i can type it in and he said “it’s not going to do anything” , which I then responded that I usually just type it in anyways and sometimes I get coupons, cashiers ALWAYS ask me to type in my number. He rolled his eyes as my boyfriend asked to start the transaction over. He then told me to relax when I told him next time he can just ask me to type in my number as any cashier would normally. If there is going to be someone there at night, he should be a good and friendly worker, like the gentlemen next to him who seemed to be in a fine and normal mood. I then read his name tag and said i’ll call about him tomorrow and he said he didn’t care and that I could call and complain if I wanted to, and he laughed it off and sarcastically said to “have a good night”.
Worse experience at the pharmacy counter I have ever experienced in my life!!! The level of competency and lack of courtesy is beyond my comprehension. After waiting for over an hour and a half, talking to 4 different people behind the counter and having my dr resend the prescription I finally got my prescription. Now livid, I ask for a manager who unapologetically stares at me blankly and repeats me when I said unacceptable... No follow up. No Im sorry. No nothing. I was and will be the first and last time I ever use this cvs!
The worst service long waiting time no problem solver farmacy very bad service update april 18 this place is getting worse 20 people waiting in line 1 cashier dealing with customers and other cashiers walking around the store doing nothing while 20 people waiting in line .

2022-06-06Been to this CVS a few times. Overall its a good place to go to. Getting prescriptions from the pharmacy usually takes time and it is preferrable just to let them know you are waiting and then get back to them.

2022-06-26This CVS location is filthy. Every time I go into the bathroom there is urine and fecal matter all over the place. I almost left and went across the way to Dunkin Donuts to use their facilities. Unfortunately, the lady waiting outside the bathroom had to bring her 3 little girls to the bathroom with her since they had to use it. CVS talks about CVS health. The bathroom is very unhealthy with the filth that is constantly there. Honestly, I know CVS facilities are closing in a year but why do you have customers and employees in filth. If there is a lack of staff, the manager should clean up the bathroom!

2022-06-09I would give this location zero stars if I could. Their customer service is horrendous. I went there today to pick up an order from online and also exchange two shampoos that I had picked up at a different CVS the other day (Im doing a gift basket for my mothers birthday today and realized that a different variety of the same line was probably better for her hair). I get to the cashier and explain the exchange and she flat out says they dont do exchanges. I questioned it because it sounded odd and she said it was corporate policy. I pulled up ye olde coporate policy on my phone and it clearly says that you can return or exchange within 60 days with the receipt. I bring this to her attention and she gets so nasty and asks if I want to speak to a manager (like I just made up their website). Even the manager gave me attitude about it and finally seemed like she was going to do it and then she came up with that I had to return it and then buy the other items because an exchange would mess up her SKU counts because it wasnt the same shampoo. So, I can return the two shampoos and buy back two others ones and that doesnt alter her SKU count in the same way as an exchange? Also, I had coupons on the original purchase so the buy back would have been more expensive. It was an even exchange and I was treated horribly. I left and called corporate and they confirmed I should have been able to exchange the shampoo, regardless of it being a different variety. I think Ill just stick to Walgreens from here on out.

2021-11-20They definitely need cashiers. There are self service registers but it takes long sometimes because people have trouble with the register. It then becomes a very long wait. I went in several times and no matter what, even if there are couple of people there, its a problem. As for the pharmacy, I will never have my scripts filled there. I even scheduled my covid shot twice and when I called to confirm, I was told I was not on the list. Thank God for my neighborhood pharmacy Value Plus, I was able to get my shot with no problem, in and out. Thank you Abdul!!!!

2021-11-05My experience with this CVS is good! Sometimes there is a wait but not too long. The pharmacy staff are curteuos I have never had a problem with them. Some customers are a bit rude.

2021-08-15This is the train wreck of all cvs stores. I dont understand why the isles are filled with boxes and things when they are open 24 hours and she be doing a majority of the restocking on the overnight.I understand that the staff gets paid hourly but maybe the cashiers should be paid by the number of customers they care of because they are slower then molasses.Lets talk photo orders, 8/10 times they are not ready or messed up in some way or you get a message saying they are ready for pick up and when you arrive you get told the machine is down so your pictures are not printed.Now the pharmacy, CVS needs to get their act together with the auto messages. I got a message that my script was ready I go give them all my information and she said they have nothing. I play the message and the tech told me, oh thats not us thats a machine calling you. My mouth hit the floor, I know it was not you but it was CVS calling telling me my script was ready, she went to tell me that I have a script pending and does not understand why the machine is telling me ita ready.Help this store please!

2021-10-13Management needs retraining or replacement. The pharmacy is short staffed and overworked. The line is always backed up. This is unacceptable, especially during a pandemic, when people need their medication and or covid shots! The pharmacist and tech are running around, without a break, or chance to sit down.

2021-08-02This is a nice, big, well stocked store that has easy parking. It would be an 5 star experience, but the lines are always too long. If you have the time and dont mind waiting, this is a good spot BUT if youre in a hurry, avoid it.
