VERY good coffee. Great service. Love that its run by a cute family. Literal mom and pop operation, with all their kids in there too!They play decent music on the house speakers. Bagels are great. Wifi and plenty of outlets. Also lots of outside seating.Seems to be a real neighborhood kind of place. Overheard they are new owners of the place. Wish them luck!
Best bacon egg and cheese I’ve ever had. I never put reviews on this thing but this BEC was worth it. Also, I didn’t have to put my own sugar in my coffee!! I love it here. ❤️
I would kill to have the old Cypress back. The new food menu since they changed is tiny and expensive. The look is also a generic and lacks the character the old place had.
I have been visiting this cafe every now and then since I moved to the neighborhood. They have good coffee, great service, and some solid pastries for breakfast. The prices are also quite fair. I definitely recommend stopping by for some coffee in the morning.
Not the old Cypress Inn Cafe any more:( No Frankenstein, no huge sandwich, no Viola.Their coffee and their muffins are very good. Everything else is underwhelming. They even sold us a “plain croissant” with ham inside that we found out only after my vegetarian husband took a big bite of it.
A great place to go to in the morning and afternoon to get a great cup of coffee and some of their award-winning level pastries. Oh, and of course every Sunday from 1pm to 2pm they host “Sunday Service” a live comedy and music show featuring the most talented young comics and musicians in the world! Follow them all on instagram and take a screenshot with the date you did it, so that when they’re gonna be the most successful people in the world you’ll be able to say you knew about them before everyone else.
Such a cute calm homey place! New owners and this place is great love the food is amazing! New thing on Sunday where they have live performances and brunch. Definitely should Check it out …

Super cute little spot with wonderful art and delicious pastry treats. The cold brew is strong and refreshing, cannot miss it! The staff was kind and helpful even when it got busy, and as trans folks we immediately felt safe.

Such a lovely place to stop by for breakfast. The vegan muffins are delicious. Cold brew was strong without being overwhelming. Barista was so friendly and efficient. Super clean, great music, peaceful environment.

I had a different expectation as to what this cafe was going to be like based on reviews Ive seen. I know it temporarily closed for a while, so I dont know if there have been changes. Coffee was good. The sandwiches were nothing to rave about. Theres other places I can get a good cup of coffee and food.
Great counter service. Table seating, counter seating, window seating, and outdoor benches. Delicious coffee from Counter Culture, perfectly brewed. Plentiful pastries, salads, sandwiches. Very cozy, I can spend hours here playing card games and drinking coffee. The staff is busy...be respectful, patient, and nice. If you cannot be patient, go to Starbucks where things are premade.
Literally my living room. Okay, not literally. But an amazing place to work, relax, and feel part of a community. Doesnt hurt that the sandwiches are giant and cheap, and the cappuccinos are solid. It would be great if theyd step up their coffee game so I felt more excited about it, but thats a very minor complaint.
A nice cafe with good coffee options and other snacks. The cappuccino and latte were pretty good. The sitting area is little small but decent enough to hold few people at any given time. Definitely worth a visit for their coffees.
Pastry was so bad! I was expecting good bc of other reviews. Disappointed. Coffee was weak. So many better options in the area.
Amazing food, just never open. So good in fact Ive come back 7 times in the past month to a steel door closed over the place despite the business hours saying open. I now call a few days a week with no answer because Ive given up walking there. Will change to a 5 star if they ever open again. So frustrating Ive actually written my first review!
Went in for coffee, found art! Coffee and bagel were great too. Staff was very friendly. Great for a quick bite or to work while enjoying a beverage.

There was a dark skin employee women and she was so rude. Normally, me and my friend came this cafe everyday. However, this behavior is not nice. Don’t go this place guys.

2022-03-27This one of my favorite places in Ridgewood. I ❤️ their avocado toast and their mozzarella, tomato end presto sandwich. They are the best!!The place is very nice and cozy with excellent customer service. This is a must visit in Ridgewood! 😍

2021-11-27Ive been meaning to pay this place a visit based on the great reviews Ive read and yes it happened this morning and I am not disappointed.The menu is simple, I ordered the avocado toast and my husband ordered the B.E.C on a bagel (bacon egg and cheese). We enjoyed it plus a bonus conversation with the owner while having breakfast feels like we are home. Will definitely return.....

2022-05-11Love this coffee shop. Very local- owner seems to always be in chatting with people and being very welcoming. They have events throughout the week. I’ve only been to blues night which was very cute- beer and wine served. My only qualm is that they need to change their google hours. I’ve gone by a couple times around 7:40am when it says they’re open at 7:30am and it’s still locked :/.

2017-09-20Cappuccino is always well balanced and excellent. Only $3.50 for a large cup. Great way to start the morning. I also enjoy the hummus plate for lunch if youre not overally hungry. If you have more of an appetite, their sandwiches are large and well made. Always good to stop for food or coffee in the morning or lunch time.
