This was my first time at this salon with Jenifer. She was very welcoming and was sure to listen to everything I wanted. She was also very intent and confident on helping me with my curly hair. Not often do you have hair stylists that understand how to properly take care of ringlet curls like mine. She helped me find products to purchase for the up keeping of my hair. The other workers there are also very friendly and super sweet. I will definitely return back.
Charisma did an amazing job giving me a haircut and styling my hair. She was knowledgeable about which shampoo, conditioner and lotion to use for my hair type. She was an expert with giving me the look I showed her based on the pictures I showed her. Highly recommend the service at D.Anthony!!!

I’ve been to the most high end salons in LA and NYC for hair smoothing treatments and Stephanie did my hair on par if not better than all my salon experiences with the bonus of a great cut that was also affordable. I definitely left feeling more confident. I was there for about three hours so it helped that I enjoyed stephanies company as well. Thank you d. Anthony!
Absolutely the best haircut and best experience I ever had. Amanda was incredibly positive, focusing on the cut I needed. Its the first time in a very long time I can say the cut was exactly what I was looking for. I also felt incredibly safe, this being my first cut in over a year due to the covid-era. Everyone was properly masked, and good sanitizing is clearly in place. I already made an appointment to come back and I NEVER pre-book haircuts. So so glad I found this place!!!

I met with Amanda for the first time today. She immediately understood my concerns about my hair and what I would like to achieve. The salon is very organized and spotless and COVID procedures, including temp taking are followed. I also met with Monica to explore micro blading in the future.

I absolutely LOVEEEEEE this salon and obsessed with my girl Carly’s work! She has managed to bring my hair to life and ALWAYS makes sure i leave feeling great! She trims my hair just enough, her hair painting PHENOMENAL, literally love her. It wasn’t easy finding someone who REALLY KNOWS how to do hair and CARLY knows!
I had 2 appointments with the salon. A month later. They were canceled! Now. Today I get a call from the owner who was upfront and now I understand what happened. He and his loved ones are away and have covid!! If I was told this in the beginning of my adventure. It would have been a better experience!! I just received a call from Derek. The owner. He settled the time put aside for me to get my much neede Appointmet doneI own my own business and understand how this covid has changed our livesI was very saddened to hear that his entire family had covid and are awayI pray they all get better. Fast!!!My hair is not that important to me. I never take care of myself. So. I thought some talc would help me. After my horrible bout with congestive heart failure and covidWe are greatly happy that he and his family are on the mend. That’s the most important thing I’ve come to learn. Health. And life. This is such an awesome salon. Carly is amazing!! Expert with curly hair and her color expertise is bar none. The salon is so friendly and accommodating. Derek has done an incredible job training each and every staff member and treats them with respect and dignity. There are some amazing products for sale for every style of hair.
When I moved from NYC to Rockland County, I needed to find a great hair stylist who could work well with my hair and what I was looking for. I am so glad my friend introduced me to DAnthonys, and Sabrina is amazing. She understands exactly what Im looking for and I always come out with a great cut and style. My hair not only looks fabulous when I leave the salon, but continues to look great every day after and as it grows out. For me, thats a true testament to how good Sabrina is.
Carly is very professional and did exactly what i asked for. I always struggle going blonde because my hair is naturally very dark, straight and doesn’t hold a curl. Carly did amazing job placing my foils so that my highlights blend perfectly. My hair has never looked better, I will definitely be back!!

Im super happy with my hair color transformation by Carly. She nailed it! I went from a tired color and graying to trendy silver with a few low lights. She seemlessly blended my natural graying roots to the new color. I really appreciate Carlys consultative style and she is very professional. Looking forward to my next visit :D

Rosie was referred to me by my sister and she was just as personable and experienced as she told me she would be! I only gave her a very general idea of what kind of cut I was looking for and she completely understood what I wanted and what would look best and I am so happy with it. All of the staff were really great and I felt very safe and comfortable with all of their precautions.

Michaella was my hairstylist. She was friendly, patient (I know I can be annoying with my hair because it needs rk be perfect, sorry!), and incredible. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and my hair came out beautifully. It lasted the entire evening and I received tons of compliments the entire night. I have relatively thin hair and she made it so voluminous it looked like I had double the amount, exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be back. I walked in on a very busy Saturday morning and was delightfully greeted by the receptionist. He saw I was in a jam and really needed to get an appointment that day so he spoke to his team and they introduce me to Stephanie! I couldn’t have picked a better hairstylist for myself! Rosie is amazing, a miracle worker really, I always come in with crazy hair and most of the time half asleep, but leave happy with a gorgeous head of hair and a big smile on my face!!! My color was just the right amount of blonde. No brassiness. Very professional staff. As the stylist was putting on the toner a piece of my hair fell in my eye which can happen to anyone. She was quick to make sure I was ok and got me something to wash my eye out just to make sure. Attention to detail is a must here at this salon. I would go no where else. I have been seeing Rosie for months and can say that she is the best hair dresser I have ever had! After I wrecked my hair by attempting to bleach it myself (which turned out just as bad as it sounds) Rosie was able to salvage it and made my hair the color I actually wanted! I went in to inquire about laser hair removal and I was informed by the receptionist that they don’t have a laser that can perform on individuals with darker skin a.k.a. black people. As a black woman I was embarrassed & ashamed that a salon in such a diverse town like Nyack could not accommodate African-Americans. I would give 0 stars if possible.

2021-10-17I am a woman that works in the beauty industry as a professional makeup artist. My hair is very important to me but I’ve been having a bit of a struggle finding a new stylist that could help me achieve my vision. I have tried many wonderful and talented stylists in the Westchester area but have left every haircut frustrated. I knew Derek from working with him on a wedding a few years back. I have admired his work so I decided it was time to reach out for a haircut. Derek is the first stylist to actually take the time to explain to me why I have not been getting the haircut I want. He masterfully tailored my current cut to only adjust the areas that needed attention so that it would grow into the shape and length I have been trying to get to. He also checked the overall lines to make sure everything blended. The salon is also beautiful and the town of Nyack is always enjoyable to visit. I can honestly say I have finally found a stylist that understands me and will help me achieve my vision. I had three strangers compliment my hair on the day of my cut with Derek. Go see him! I could not be happier with my experience!!

2021-12-16Nicole was amazing! I let her decide what to do with my hair for the most part and it looks the best it’s ever been! She was friendly and you can tell she cares about her clients. I’ll be going to her from now on. 10/10 would recommend

2021-11-13My first time at the salon, I drove 40 min just see Amanda! She is wonderful! She took the time to go over the style I wanted and explained every product she used on me. The salon was gorgeous & clean as well!
