As a long time customer of Bartlett’s I have seen there service and work become poorer and poorer. A job I had done about two years ago sprain a leak and on investigating I discovered their work was a total Cobb job and the cause of the leak. Going to Bartlett’s with the part and and asking for the correct peice so I could fix it I was told: we don’t have it, go to Lowe’s. You didn’t have it when you did the Cobb job, simply crimped a line without putting a cap on it as was the professional way I paid for and would never have a leak. A job I paid you to do professionally. I will go to Lowe’s, buy the parts, install them and never consider Bartlett’s for any future work.
Highly recommend! Prompt service. Actually came out the day I called them. Everyone I dealt with was polite and responsive. Price was very reasonable. Give them a call!
Our well pump stopped working and Wade from D P Bartlett came in did a fantastic job. He was very courteous and professional. Highly recommend this company.

2022-08-20Bartletts installed a new furnace for us a few years ago and it still works great. We’ve had them over a few times for minor things over the years and they are always punctual, polite, and reliable.

2021-04-20They installed a water softener and it has been fantastic since!! They took the time to show me how to use the app to monitor it as well! We will definitely use them again!! When he was here he also answered questions about my water heater which honestly is on the outs because of years of Adams hard water damage!! Just called them for a quote which so far is the most affordable I’ve found yet!!! And the woman who answered today was absolutely wonderful to talk to!!!

2021-09-28Had an issue with a broken pipe - while they repaired the pipe and installed an AAV, they GLUED in the AAV, and the repaired pipe caused an issue that another plumber I hired fixed. They were prompt and courteous, true - but you should never glue in a Studor valve!

2019-12-20The team at D.P. Bartletts has installed an AC unit and most recently replaced a vent inducer at my home in Adams. I have nothing bad to say regarding the quality of their work. However they leave much to be desired from their communication skills. I was not contacted until after the repair was done (live out of state) and when I finally spoke to the technician he was rude, argumentative and seemingly inconvenienced because he had a “long” day.If your site states 24hr service I don’t want to hear that you’ve been working all day as an excuse as to why you can’t properly communicate with a customer!Also have requested to speak with the owner regarding this repair, still no bill and have not had a call since Monday and it’s now Friday.

2019-01-16I am so impressed with this company. I wasted 24 hours trying to work with the company that originally installed my water damaged furnace 28 years ago. It was late Saturday afternoon before I contacted D P Bartlett. The man was very nice. The quote to replace the was about 2/3 the other company. I feel like they were very honest when they advised against repair. It was the coldest weekend of the year they were already busy with other emergencies. He told me if I could wait I would have heat by about 9am Monday. I thought he meant they were returning at 9 am. But no, they were heating up my 38 degree house. They are like a team of well trained dancers. Everyone knows their role. As fast as the install was they took the time to explain the furnace and the filters, paperwork. They installed a hot water heater several years ago and it was the same great experience.

2019-06-05Contacted them after experiencing less than stellar service with other local contractors. James came on time when he said he would and was very cordial. Explained symptoms of the issue I was having and he knew exactly what the problem was. Took the time to explain to me. Resolved it and cleaned the furnace. Got rid of all other HVAC contractors in my contact list and they will be the only ones I use going forward. Highly recommend.

2018-08-10The men do excellent work but their customer service leaves much to be desired. We had to make repeated phone calls to even find out if and when they would arrive. One week after new water heater installed, needed a different anode to counteract hideous odor. Took another 6 days to get the part . Still waiting with stinky hot water.

2020-02-04I have used them previously with little issue. However recently they did some work and ordered the wrong parts. They charged me for having to come to my house 2 times at $90 per hour for something they ordered or didn’t check prior to arrival. I will never use this service again based on this bath faith judgement and they aren’t willing to adjust it when I asked about the charges.
