Better than going to Home Depot. Ive been to DaCorta a number of times and they are always professional, helpful, and courteous.
Great crew that helps you on what to do/buy. It still has that old hardware store feeling which, in my opinion beats the big home improvement stores.

2022-03-02I came here to rent a Bissell vacuum and never have I ever felt so uncomfortable I was being attended by one of the employees who then went to the back to make copies of my information thats needed to rent the vacuum and out of nowhere this guy comes up to me and starts telling me about his Chinese girlfriend and pulls out photos of her in lingerie and that he likes his Chinese women to be white skinned not yellow his words not mines I was so scared when I went back to return the vacuum I didnt want to go through that again

2021-10-27I can’t say enough good things about this store. Not only did they have everything I needed for my project but the staff was extremely helpful. The manager Eduardo really took his time to explain everything and made sure I got everything I needed. I will definitely be going back.

2021-03-29I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 41 years and this was my second and last time ever; so I needed to determine thepitch thread size for a bolt and needed a thread gauge, simple right. Well this sales guy, did not even respond when I said good morning, seemed bothered by a question and instead of answering, made me feel like guys try to make ladies feel ... so I showed him the message and he complains about the metric system, seriously ? Honestly, if his head wasn’t so fogged up on marijuana (that wreaked feet away) maybe he would be able to get it out of his arsssss long enough to show some courtesy and provide customer service. Never again!

2019-01-15They almost always have the parts you need to repair the old plumbing and stuff found in the old buildings in this neighborhood.They even give advice when not harried. The older workers know more about the original plumbing and stuff found in these houses built just pre and post WWII.
