I was at this place and owner yelled at me aside of price gauging items like masks on a global emergency taking advantage of people’s needs yelled as if I was his son or employee you can’t allow that in this situation we live in a free country where abuse isn’t allowed

Prices are not cheap, and the quality and cleanliness of the store is disgusting. Rotten food in there 1 fresh refrigerator and expired milk on the shelves.

This place is very well known in the Community, everyone is cool with everyone. And the store carries some specific food items that some stores don’t have.

2022-05-15Been going there my whole life. The owner is there the last 4-5 years and has a reputation as being a bit nasty. Today I was ordering about $30 worth of cold cuts and was going to buy a tomato. The tomatoes were not ripe, so I decided not to. When I walked to the deli counter, I saw they had nice looking tomato slices for the sandwiches. I asked if I could but 2-3 slice with my cold cuts. The owner stated they dont sell them like that, and I would have to buy a whole tomato. I explained they were not ripe, and he got nasty with me until eventually it turned into shouting match in the middle of the store. I have been going there since it was Super A and Associated.Ill take my share of the blame for losing my temper and shouting but, for a couple lousy tomato slices, he lost a $30 sale and a lifelong customer

2020-04-16Cold cuts are always fresh & priced well. Bread is fresh too. Never been disappointed. Staff is wonderful & helpful always smiling. They sell just about everything you can get in a supermarket without the long lines. Try it, you’ll like it’

2021-06-15New to the area, moved from the Bronx, my new favorite spot, heros are awesome, huge selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Snacks galore and super friendly fast service.

2017-04-12I was in this store a week ago and witnessed the owner jack screaming at an employee. I was so disgusted and lost so much respect for him after witnessing that. The employees that work there are great people always helpful and friendly. The women that work there always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. Sad to see an employer who doesnt appreciate good workers.

2016-12-15Usually very nice and helpful. Has most items I need, even pet food. .. mostly staple supermarket type items though, nothing gourmet, or organic. The deli counter has good meats and rolls, comparable to a deli. We go there regularly, definitely a neighborhood spot!

2016-12-14I grew up going here. The workers have always been polite and friendly. They have the only potato salad and pasta salad that I eat. Its always fresh and theyre sweet, unlike many others that are eggy or pasty. This mini market is a good place to pick up essentials like milk, soda, chips, tuna, etc.
