The service was slow and the staff was rude. We didnt even get a chance to order. We waited 10 minutes to get a rude response to the question can we order with no line at the counter or the drive thru. We are never going here again.
We frequent DQ for their Blizzards as our go to family treat and hv always had friendly and nice service at various locations. Today at 321 W. Jericho Tpk. Huntington NY was a different experience. We were met by ‘Letty’ who simply looked at us. No hello. Just a ‘what do you want?’. Super unfriendly and unpleasant.Then, the order took 10 full minutes and we were told by ‘Maurica’ to come and get our order. Other locations ALWAYS brought the order to our table. Mind you it was 2:43p and the place was empty and we were the only customers.Also in the bathroom, hand dryer was broken and no paper towels. This location is just terrible all around. Terrible place and terrible, unhappy people working there. Never going back.
These locations needs some good helping employees. They take extremely long time to make orders. Pick in store super slow. Only few employees mostly young teenagers.
Im giving Dairy Queen five stars the quality of the product is still there the service is still there the people were nice enough to put the Yankee game on for me and put the volume on so thats a plus but to charge for a small Heat that used to be a dollar and a half less you have it way overpriced I probably will not come back to Dairy Queen five and a half dollars for a small is ridiculous
It was better than I expected soggy chilly cheese dog, the cheesecake shake was excellent, the drive thru person was very polite and helped me with directions

Don’t ever go here an expect good service. Don’t bother asking for sauce as there is a 0% chance you’ll ever get it. The guy on drive thru sounded drunk. When I went in the store after realizing the drive thru forgot my sauce (defeating the whole point of drive thru) they tried to charge me for it. Why would I walk in a fast food place and only order dipping sauce? They handed me a box of food. The napkins were stuffed inside the box that had honey bbq chicken strips in it. So I had honey bbq napkins too. No bag. The box was covered in sauce and make a mess in my car. This place is ridiculous
Consistently bad service. Ive given them a couple chances but the last visit was my last. I was the only customer on the property (empty lot and drive thru) and at the peak of lunch they took a longgggg time to make my order, got parts wrong and totally forgot other parts. Its happened a couple times now but Ive never had to wait in the drive thru this long before.
Got 3 large blizzards. Reeses pieces extreme but had almost no reeses pieces, same for chocolate chip and sea salt toffee. Very disappointing. Have been getting blizzards for years 1st time it wasnt worth the money
Absolutely motherfking unprofessional. The door was locked upon arrival. Customers inside had to let us in. Waiting in line almost an hour still not up to the counter to order. Person in front of us not getting his food. People left and right not getting their food or the incorrect/ messed up order making those irritated. Some young guy goes back to LOCK the door with us all inside. Against the law and against fire code...CANNOT LOCK A DOOR DURING BUSINESS HOURS...FIRE HAZARD.Absolutely horrible the kids that run the place should be FIRED! I will not be returning to this location.
The staff deserves a raise from cooperate and a big round of applause. While I was waiting at drive thru window. A severely mad female customer came behind the counter and into the kitchen flipping out about how she was helped by cashier. The unhappy customer cursed alot at the staff. Threatened the cashier and then threw someones ice cream at the cashier girl. I get why the customer was mad. If the service was horrific but you cant just come into the places kitchen and being unladylike. The whole thing made me feel bad for everyone involved.
They told us to pull up to the white line because our food would take a minute. That was fine but I only got chicken and fries I waited a half an hour for my chicken and both people behind me got their food so I went inside to see where it was and they told me they would check on it so I went back outside and they locked the door behind me??? I waited 10 more minutes and it still didnt come out and I couldnt ask anyone because the door was locked. Finally they came out with the food I assumed the order was correct so I parked in the parking lot to eat it only to realize they messed up my order and when I tried to get someones attention from outside to fix it (since they locked the door and I couldnt go in and ask) no one came to help me so my only other option was to wait on an insanely long line at the drive through again so they can fix my order but the line was taking forever so I just ended up eating what they gave me. :( bro Im never coming to dairy queen again. I never write reviews thats how u know it was that bad. Save ur time and money and go somewhere else.

Worst service ever! I came for two food deliveries, no one even acknowledged me, one practically knocked me over, the other one I tried to ask but she just turned around and ignored me, waited 20 minutes & they decided to tell me to go to the drive through, locked me out & there are at least 15 cars now, so I was forced to cancel the orders, no way I was able to wait in the drive thru after standing there that long. Really?? Is that how they treat food delivery? I never had this anywhere. If I could give them a zero I would & would never pick up there again!

I had an issue with my coupon and a young man manager general chase came to the front and showed me the app and how to use it and helped me load my coupon and even had a laugh with me . the food was good too i love the french fries they taste home made !

Went to Dairy Queen on a Saturday night at 10:03pm and was surprised to find the doors locked despite the sign saying the lobby hours on saturday are until 11pm. I then called the Dairy Queen and was told the hours are for summers only, despite the sign being up in the middle of January with no disclaimer that the hours were for summers only. After mentioning this to the employee, he responded in an angry tone that they were indeed closed. Disappointing experience, especially for a Dairy Queen.
The fact that I am writing this while still on line for my food at Dairy Queen should explain a lot. You defeat the purpose of the concept of fast food when it takes 30 min from arrival to drive thru to pick up window. Not even that many cars ahead of me (3-4). 2 cars waiting behind me straight up left before the order window. No excuse when literally every other fast food chain gets it right, including Chil Fil A.
Worst experience ever at the Huntington drive thru. We waited over an hour for our food, and trust me the order was not that complicated! The place is run by kids who are completely unprofessional. They are under staffed and rude! Do better!
I do like the selection and the quality of DQ items. My only complaint is that for some of the items, particularly anything with soft ice cream, the portions seem small for the price.The staff is usually very attentive and helpful, and they do have a discount for seniors, but you have to ask for it, as you do in most places that offer the discount.
READ THIS:So I ordered a blizzard and they flavor was not at all what I expected so I brought it back to the front desk and asked if I could exchange it that it didnt agree with me in the taste of the pecans the guy looked at me Frozen and said theres nothing we can do to help he asked me if I was sure I said of course I dont like the taste of the peanuts I said can I please have strawberry one he said I cant do that I said can I please speak to the manager he said I am the manager I said can you change it he said no I cant change it he just kept staring at me in between these sentences that he was saying the lady next to me said to him just give her another blizzard he walked away and the lady asked me if he was on drugs I said it sure looks like it not exactly sure whats going on there but I wouldnt recommend going there while I was there for the 10 minutes three people brought food back saying that they waited too long for the delivery two of them were Ubers delivery guys the place is a disaster FINALLY I ASKED HIM IF I COULD HAVE MY MONEY BACK AND HE ASKED ME ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THE MONEY BACK I SAID IM As SURE as MY NAME IS CATHERINE ILL TAKE THE MONEY BACK!Today against my better judgement we went back because my husband insisted we give them another chance so off we go we ordered 2 blizzards and a parfait great the girl at the counter says is it ok we cant give you a receipt we ran out of paper I said not really cant you ask someone to help you she was holding a new roll in her hand . Menu for food is limited, but they do have cheese curds. I would recommend using the drive thru, the floor inside was covered in something sticky i was afraid my feet were going to come out of my sneakers. When you mop, guys, use soap and water not soda syrup
Usually the food is pretty good and there’s no issues. However, when we went here last night, I felt extremely disrespected by the staff. I get it’s late, but there’s no reason not to do your job correctly or be rude just because it’s late at night. First of all, they didn’t listen when we ordered a coke with our order so we never got it. And we couldn’t even ask for it because the boy at the drive through window screamed “BYEE” and slammed the window shut the second after we got our food. Definitely not a way to treat a customer regardless of the time.

Super slow motion service and cooking at the huntington location. Food was cold and mahh, orea brownie blizzard was excellent. Cant believe the line at the drive through. We walked in when we got in the parking lot and it was 28 minutes to get everything
One of my favorite go-to dessert places! I used to go here all the time in high school and every time I go back it’s so nostalgic. You can never go wrong with a classic vanilla cone!
Friendly and great customer service. Four dollar value meal with a blizzard reeses ice cream is a hard price to beat. Great tasting burger and long french fries come with it. What better way than to save money on a budget?
Waste of time and money. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. No tomatoes plain with nothing else on it but the bun. I get back to my office ready to eat lunch and theirs bacon on my plain please just grilled chicken sandwich. Disgusting so now I dont get lunch and im out the $6 for the sandwich. NEVER GO HERE!

What can I say, we love this place!! I take my kids every other Sunday for the lunch special. You get a burger or chicken sandwich (several to choose from) fries, fountain drink with unlimited refills and a small Sunday ( can upgrade to a small blizzard for $1) all for $7. We are happy every time. Our favorite location is Levittown NY on Hempstead Turnpike.
This place is clearly one of the most attractive restaurants in the region. Always when I come there I am extremely happy. They manage their high standard service and the highest level of dishes they give. You will be always satisfied with this place. Highly recommended.

I primarily come here for two things. The ice cream cones which are good and the Blizzards which are outstanding. I try a different one everytime I go and I have not been disappointed yet. Will always stop by when I am in the area.
I bought 4, $5 buck lunch box chicken baskets. I have got this many times in the past at different Dair Queen locations. This time my lunches came with tenders that were half the size of Dairy Queens normal portions. My strawberry dipped blizzard was delicious, the service was fast and everyone was nice.
Staff was very rude to multiple customers. Meal and presentation were atrocious. The Manager was a rude punk who couldnt be bothered..some people should not be in the retail and service industry.
Its a dairy queen! You get a decent burger with good fries (and if you tell them you want fresh, they will make great fresh hot fries) a soft drink AND ice cream for $5! You cant beat that.
I had never been to a DQ before, and I will never return. The staff was rude and not helpful with their own menu. Had to wait in line twice, once for food once for ice cream. Just my daughters meal was $10 after the ice cream. Its all a scam here, you pay restaurant prices for McDonalds type service. Save some cash and goto a Friendlys, cheaper and real service. Need a quick meal & drink with 2 dogs in the car its hard to go else where. The chicken was a little rubbery, however the dogs loved the kids burger. Ice coffee hit the spot.
If you are like me who lives in another part of New York and you want to get a dessert or a meal for the ride back home, then this is the place to go to. The Reeses upside down Blizzard was tasty and delicious. The staff was friendly, and it gave me enough time to beat rush hour traffic.

Love having a dq finally and understand that it will take a bit of time to get everything running smoothly, however on the several times I have been, I have had issues with the staff in the kitchen....the staff behind the register has always been great, helpful and seemingly trying to do a good job, but the staff making the blizzards has been very unprofessional and gotten my order incorrect almost every time though sometimes caught by the register staff, but this last time when it was virtually empty of other customers, I ordered a blizzard and specified no peanuts and order was entered as a peanut allergy but of course, peanuts were still added and I didnt realize until I began to eat it....which is dangerous...for the cost of the food, which is great when made correctly though quality is already declining, it seems there should not still be staff that are not caring enough to be sure a simple blizzard is correct, as they are typically joking around and making comments that make it obvious they dont care whether they do a good job...or care about pleasing the customers. My little sister worked at Burger King and no one expects first time employees to be perfect, but there should be an attempt to ensure a certain standard of service and accuracy is being achieved so that customers get what they pay for, dont feel as if they are a burden to the staff and dont receive food that could kill them in the case of the peanuts....I never write reviews, but this time I was really bothered that some child could have gotten really sick and when I called to speak to manager they blew me off on the phone. Its a shame that a few of the staff are ruining a good place and will eventually spoil the good workers. Which is being proven by it being empty on a Friday...
Managers really don’t care about the customers, soda or ice cream machine never works, the bathroom dryer doesn’t work, they never have tissue and the employees eat food while working. Do not eat here unless you want bad customer service.
This is a popular new drive through option.....I did not realize DQ was Dairy Queen!Good for the late night hunger pangs. I had a hot dog which was okay---Nathans has nothing to worry about!The ice cream bar was okay----but I am picky with my ice cream.Visually ---the menu does not appeal to me. What makes me want a cone is the Carvel swirls on a cone. But thats just me. They were pretty busy and very polite and helpful.
Drive thru was packed so I took a chance on going inside. Ordered several blizzards. Very few customers inside. Quick in and out.
Here I am, an hour later. Cup still half filled with this really dense and huge ice. Mushroom Swiss was lapsided and sauce badly distributed. Fries old and cold. Didn’t even waste time going back in. Manager clearly doesn’t care, go above their heads if you feel place is to out of control.

Manager has a bad attitude at the late nite drive thru .I just ask to change a drink for something else and this guy blows up on us and then give the wrong food to my friend. we come back around to get the right one and his like that is what we ordered.then was going through the garbage can to look a receipt. just to trying proof us wrong!!!
Pulled pork sandwich was very sloppy since sauce was all over bun plus bun was falling apart. Both burgers were overdone again! Blizzard was excellent as usual!

Subpar ManagementSat in drive through for almost 15 minutes. When I finally walked inside found out ice cream machine was broken. This should be relayed to customers.

This location has a lot of issues. You can tell there is a management problem there with the way the employees are always goofing around. The last three times we went there all the same problems. The food and ice cream quality is not consistent.
Place is great everyone commenting has a bad idea of the place, first Friendlys has closed most of there stores so they are obviously not better, second you should wait on line for multiple orders , third maybe the customer is a moron if they cant spell ice on ice cream, how could a kid be a moron for making an ice cream if maybe this might be his first job or that the machine that pumped out the ice cream isnt calibrated right, maybe everyone should look at life a little better and dont stress on the little things like a visit to a fast food restaurant

2021-08-23This particular location has gone downhill very quickly I am sorry to say. My wife and I, and sometime my niece will come here to get an ice cream treat, or a light lunch. Unfortunately the last 5 consecutive times its been terrible service, and the dining area is very much neglected. More training is also needed for the staff as this past 5 times we have waited over 10 to 15 minutes for simple ice cream orders. It was never like that before, but there seems to be a lack of concern for customer service and facility maintenance. Dining room is always a mess, and fixtures are dirty, burnt out bulbs, and the main tv has been broken for a very long time.Again, a shame since this is still a relatively new facility, and yet it feels as though it is very neglected as of late.I hope they get it back up to speed again...needless to say I wont be visiting anytime soon.

2022-04-16I would truly love to give this a 2 star review, but I simply cant because of the terrible lunchtime staff. I went here with 5 other guests. I have no clue how this cashier has job, she has absolutely no people skills. Her name is Letty. She had us waiting on line just blank staring us down with a terrible facial expression as if we were stupid. She did NOT ask us what we wanted to order. So I just walked up and started naming food items. She had 0 manors. When someone says thank you, typically someone says your welcome or no problem! Letty just stared at us till we moved on. Typically for dine in they will give you table tents and she did not. As orders from multiple customers were completed, she would put the food in the side counter and not tell the customers which order was which, it was like a Free-for-all! Letty has no vocational skills, is one of the absolute worst employees I have ever came in contact with, and I highly recommend NOT going to this Dairy Queen location, at least for lunch time.

2022-02-26Today I ordered a cheeseburger kids meal. She told me they dont have that, they have hamburgers. I asked her to add cheese please. I received a hamburger and just a squirt of vanilla ice cream in the kids cup. If I hadnt already driven home I would have gone back to complain.

2022-04-06I ordered drive through chicken strips and fries the food was cold. I asked for honey barbecue sauce an I got plain old barbecue sauce. I disappointed to the max. I couldnt even eat it. The onion rings are the only good thing there. SHAME SHAME!!!

2022-04-08I just left there and almost did not place an order.The drive through cashier was very rude to not only me but the person behind me. She was frustrated because she had everyone waiting over 5 minutes to place an order and receive the order. Her attitude was really terrible and unnecessary. She did not have the decency to tell us to hold on beforehand so we were confused as to why we were waiting so long. She told us it’s only her taking orders and if we can’t wait then bye!

2022-05-04It was dinner time but there was not that much traffic at all it was very very quiet surprisingly for being dinner time about four people came in with an hour than I was there it took a little while took about 22 minutes to get our food order two double cheeseburgers large soft drink and a large french fries

2022-05-28This passed Monday I spent the day with my brother out on long island . Afther running a few arens around town .He asked me if I wanted to go throw the drive throw atDairy Queen and get some ice cream . Since I have never had there ice cream before, I said yes :) . The Dairy Queen in on route 110 . I got a chocolate milk shack . My brother got a vernila cone . My milk shack was really good ! It was thick and creamy it was like having a desert it was that good !I liked it so much better then Carvels milk shacks .Then we went back to his houes and relaxed in his backyard . . .Have a good weekend . . .

2022-05-22Its fine at times, but the employees dont seem to understand the concept of someone wanting chocolate ice cream. There have been times where they just give vanilla even when I said chocolate.

2022-05-26Horrendous customer service by Latina drive through employee. No manners at all, very rude. Food was cold like it was sitting there all afternoon. Will never go back to that location. She literally through my bag of food at me!

2022-06-14Worse restaurant ever. All the stuffs r so unprofessional and you have to wait for the food forever. I went there for. Grubhub pick up. They kept me waiting for 30mins and their attitude was so unprofessional like they don’t care about my pickup. i don’t know it’s only if m brown people
