Dalex installed a beautiful metal roof on our home. They were very professional and took their time to make sure everything was right. They spotted and fixed several problem areas on the roof before installing the new roof. They explained everything and showed me before and after pictures for all repairs. First of all, let me just say if you have the opportunity to have Dalex come in and complete a service of any sort, go with them. Do not pass GO. Do not collet $200. Listen to their proposal and sign the paperwork. These are the finest group of contractors whom I have ever had do work on a home throughout the 47 years I have owned homes.From the outset of coming in and presenting options for the work needed, submitting estimates, following up with all details before securing a deposit, ordering materials to the final take down of the ladder after the work is completed and clean up, they are incredibly professional. The attention to detail was mind-boggling. Vitaly and his crew know what to do and how to do it. I am incredibly fussy and these men surpassed expectations. They have done so much for us in regard to roofing and gutter needs, I dont know where to begin. I just shake my head in amazement.This review may be long but they deserve every word of praise and more.

We were able to schedule a meeting with Dmitriy from Dalex Roofing at a time that was convenient for both of us.Dmitriy inspected our roof from the outside and then from within our attic. He was very polite and patient, answering all our questions while advising us the best way to protect our 1923 era house from the elements of WNY weather for many years to come. Dalexs price was reasonable and lower than other estimates.The roofers and gutter installers were both very polite and professional. Plus, they DID NOT play any music at all. The old farmhouse had many valleys and additions. Dalex crew used creative solutions and premium products to ensure the rot and leaks were eliminated so my family and i could sleep at night. above and beyond. classy all the way.
I hate to leave this review but after talking to a couple others when asking around i made the decision due to my wasted time. Had them quote a roof bigger job for my mothers house and it was story after story of why they could not seem to get the estimate to me. Come to find out this is how they turn down jobs instead of just saying not interested or its to big of a job at the moment. So if you never get a quote after you contact them - this is the reason.

Dalex did an extremely detailed estimate which gave me confidence they knew their stuff and would go a great job. They came out in the cold of winter and did a long, 6-day, job involving a full tear-off of 4 layers of old roofing on my 150 year old farm house with a standing seam replacement. Everything came out amazing... we can hardly believe its the same roof. Strongly recommend this company if youre looking for roof replacement or repairs.
I recently had Dalex Roofing do a complete tear off of my old roof and installation of a new roof. The company was very professional from start to finish. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for the project. Once the job started, the crew worked from morning to night to finish the job, without even leaving the site for breaks. The crew worked together well, and it was superintended by an excellent foreman. The company also had a project manager oversee the project and communicate with me throughout the course of the project. All of the work was done very professionally, followed by a very thorough clean-up. I am totally satisfied with this company and give them my full recommendation.
BEST Roofing company in Buffalo to deal with!!! Dalex did an outstanding job on my roof in the city of Buffalo. Our old roof was in terrible condition and our house has very little room around it to work and we are in Allentown - a historic district with a lot of zoning rules. Maksim and Vitaly from Dalex worked with the City of Buffalo permitting and requirements and they and their crew did an outstanding job. They worked tirelessly with lots of obstacles and did a phenomenal and neat job. Cant say enough about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone!! We had major ice damming this past winter (as many people did) and leaking in the house. Dalex provided an excellent solution for us. We chose the the mechanically seamed metal roofing for our house and attached garage. Dalex did a complete tear-off, replaced warn plywood sheeting and installed insulation as needed. The team kept us informed of progress as the project developed and explained everything in detail. We are extremely pleased with how the project turned out. We highly recommend Dalex!!
Highly recommend Dalex for roofing needs. We built new w Marrano in 2007. I wont mention who marrano used for our original roof but our entire neighborhood had issues w their original Marrano roofs. Our original roof was awful. We had to replace shingles constantly, even w minor 30 mph winds. We finally ended up having our entire roof torn off and replaced with Dalex in July 2018. Dalex was recommended by a work friend and I am so glad we found them. Dimitry and his crew were fantastic. They were all punctual, thorough, and professional from start to finish. 3+ years later and no issues at all. Weve had numerous wind storms and I havent had any issues w our roof since Dalex replaced it. We have recommended dalex to numerous neighbors and friends.
Update: We found some water damage in our house, but didn’t know where it was coming from. Called Dalex because we thought it could be from where our new roof tied in to an existing roof. I called, left a message, and within 2 hours someone was at our house checking the roof. Water is NOT coming from the roof and the guy that came walked our entire roof to double check their work. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are extremely professional and thorough with their work!!We recently had Dalex repair our roof after it was damaged by a hail storm. They were priced very reasonably and were great to work with. They handled things with our insurance company so that we did not need to. Once we were able to schedule, the installation was quick. We had one issue with Weather Panel leaking oil on our new driveway when they delivered materials. Dalex handled this problem and made sure that it was taken care of. After the snow melted, they sent someone to our home to clean our yard and garden. This person spent over an hour combing through to make sure everything was cleaned up. We were so happy to know that we would not need to do this!

I highly recommend Dalex, they replaced my roof this October. We went with black shingles at the top and black metal roofing on the lower roof along with black gutters at their recommendation, they were able to fit the best design in to our budget.One of the things I love is how they have a dumpster that lifts up to the roof line so no shoveling old shingles on to the driveway. All the workers wore hardhats and safety harnesses (a different company that did the house across the street did not!) and were managed by a foreman who made sure all plants were protected. They were here for four full days plus a few extra hours for the gutters crew.I also love how they are so proud of their own work, the metal roof was a complicated shape which took all day and they were excited to show it to us when they were done and take photos for their website.
We had a great experience with Dalex last August with the completion of an upper roof installation. Dmitry was phenomenal working with us through COVID and an amazing presentation via Zoom from our driveway immediately after his in person walkthrough.From there, communication was amazing, the crew worked very quickly and Vitaly was very responsive and cared that the job was done right and we were extremely satisfied, even offered to clean up himself if needed.We would highly recommend Dalex, and we are so grateful we listened to our other three neighbors that used them!

They were very detailed during the estimating process, thats what sold me initially. then after seeing many of their reviews i chose them over three other contractors who were in the same price range. this was a huge 6 day job, 3500 sq ft home. all the workers were pleasant, and cleaned-up at the end of each day. Final clean-up after the completion was excellent. our 1953 house looks like new again. highly recommend / would use them again.
This Company is bar none one of the finest roofers on the east coast. They take the time to address your concerns. The owner called to make sure we were happy after. Went with Dalex because of the good reviews. Had Max over for estimate. Max was about 1000 dollars more then another estimate but he was doing more work. They will take off 2-3 feet of siding where the roof meets a side wall. Then wrap up the side wall with some plastic wrap and keep that area leak free. After 40 years living in the home was looking for a company that did that due diligence and they do. Max also wanted to change bathroom exhaust from soffit to roof. Later looked on internet and roofers agreed it should be on roof. I didnt even question Max because convinced he knows what hes doing. The job was completed around December 7, 2020. Waited till now to review to find out if there was leaks. Water tight job which I expected. They did a great cleanup job and all workers were nice to work with. You will still find some missed old roofing and nails but hard to find them all. You wont go wrong with hiring Dalex.
Dalex is the only company I will recommend for roofing. Ive dealt with two other roofing companies in the past, both names you would recognize and Dalex stands above the competition. After years of dealing with water and ice issues, I recently hired Dalex to install a metal roof and could not be happier with the experience. Not only do they have a quality product, they take the time and put forth the effort to make sure everything is installed correctly.I tried to limit the list so here are my top three reasons for recommending Dalex.1.) Interested in solving your problems, not just making a sale.When Dmitry came out for the estimate, he showed he was interested in understanding and solving the issues I was experiencing and not just making a quick sale. He listened to my concerns, got up on the roof to investigate and then along with the standard install details, he explained several options like adding eaves to my house that other companies never mentioned or tried to dissuade me from when I brought them up (after learning about them from Dmitry) because they would be a lot of extra work. Its important to have an experienced professional who cares and Dalex does.2.) A professional crew that communicates well.Vitaly and his crew were great! Everyone I interacted with were friendly and professional. During the installation, Vitaly would give me regular updates and was always there to answer any questions or concerns that I had.3.) Things are done the correct way.You can get a new roof and still have problems. It all comes down to how well it was installed and Dalex does it the right way. At several key points in the install including dealing with the siding or flashing around chimneys, it was obvious that when given the option between a quick way and the right way, Dalex does it the right way. In the past I had another company out to replace a section of roof and they did not go to all the effort to wrap, secure and waterproof along the wall and siding as Dalex did. Its important to have a company that cares enough and will take the time to do it right. Dalex is that company.From estimate to job complete I could not have had a better experience.
I am publishing this for my friend Bonnie who had damage from a Nov 2020 wind and rainstorm. The winds were in excess of 50 mph and roof shingles came off in large patches on both the house and the shed. Trying to find a company to fix the roof was a chore for her as her brother has a disability. Dalex came through right from the get go. Dmitriy was able to give a rough estimate due to the fact that the insurance estimator had already been by and tarped the roof. The crew was fantastic, from start to finish. I just had my garage roof done by Dmitry and his crew, they did an amazing job. the roof looks great and was very reasonably priced. If you are looking to have any work done look no further their. quality is outstanding the price is right, they take care of the customer. once the job is completed they clean up as if they were never there. Demitri was our first contact. We knew him from the first job and have total trust in him. Alex was part of the coordinations as well. Julius was the project coordinator. The first time replacing a roof is a little nerve-wracking. Estimate was done with days of calling, and everything was explained in detail. Dimitry was very patient with me! The work was completed quickly and efficiently. (My only complaint is the roof was supposed to be done in the middle of October and I had to call them several times in November to ask when it would be done). Any questions or concerns I had were addressed immediately. Even with that hiccup, I would recommend them!
I found Dalex Roofing on the internet, they came over and provided a quote to re-roof our Garage Roof. The price on the quote was a good price and we decided to give them the job as they were going to replace the under-planking to original look. Other contractors were going to use plywood to replace roof foundation. Dalex was told there was no rush to complete the job. Within 2 weeks they asked to come over the next day to re-roof the garage. They worked very clean, they picked up after themselves and the garage has never looked so good. I am very picky and they surpassed my expectations. This company has my highest recommendations, EXCELLENT Job Dalex!!!!

These folks know their stuff. They care about their work and dont take shortcuts. I had a complete tear off and replacement roof, 40 squares in 2 days. Great prep work, cleanup, responsive, detailed, well managed, safe, and hit every shingle with at least 6 nails not 4 like the short cutters. Installation was done just as the manufacturer prescribed, they do things the right way. Highly recommend them.
Back in November I walked into our attic during a rain storm only to discover that water was pouring from our roof. The roof had original cedar shingles plus two layers of shingles on top of that. Frantic, we called several companies to come down and give us an estimate. Most of the contractors came down and without looking at anything other than from the view outside, gave us an estimate of 15k. Dalex Co. came over and did a full inspection both inside and out. Dmitry pulled out a ladder and climbed up to the roof to physically inspect the shingles, checked out the inside wood work and took pictures to show us how bad the damage was and what specifically needed to be replaced. Not only did he give us a significantly lower price to beat out the competitors, he also gave us a discounted rate for working in the winter time.The time for the roof to be replaced came, and the workers had to work in between a bad snow storm that accumulated a few feet of snow. They got the entire tear off in two days and an additional 2 days was used for putting on all new boards, new shingles and putting in brand new gutters. The final product was amazing and my wife and I couldnt be any happier.If you are on a budget, and are on the fence with other contractors, I highly advise that you stop what you are doing and call Dalex. They will work with you and will also give you a fair and honest price. Their workers were clean and fast and most of all everyone in the office was extremely professional.
Great job. Fast and efficient. Double ice shield at the edges to prevent water getting under roof boards. The drip edge was placed correctly over the gutters edge. Replaced one leaking roof board without extra charge. The contracted price was the price I paid. No extra tacked on charges. Responsive crew. Cleaned up well. Shingles well secured. Fixed any issues right away. Replaced gutters too. All well done. No more leak in my fascia.

The entire crew showed professionalism and got the job done in a timely manner.The highlight: High level of expertise from the people overseeing the project and properly addressing issues as they came up. 14 Guys showed up and 845 AM and left at 7:00PM. They were unbelievably efficient, professional, courteous and clean. Dalex is an honest company that works in the best interest of their clients. We recently sided our home with Dalex and are currently undergoing a roof replacement at Dmitrys recommendation. He is thorough and provides thoughtful options when explaining the scope of work needed. Our previous roof, having only been 8 years old, was put on carelessly by another roofing company and poor workmanship on their part has caused ongoing water damage that could only be rectified with a new roof. Dalex did a complete roof tear-off on my late 19th century house. The roof was in a very bad shape with several layers of shingles, much worse than what I thought when I bought the house 5 years ago. It was a challenge and the Dalex crew did an amazing job. They were thorough, made sound decisions as a few additional construction flaws were discovered and found the right solutions. This was not just about putting on the new roof but dealing with the roof construction problems for an old house in the historic district.The workers always showed up at 8 am and worked almost through sunset. Incredible work ethic, diligence, and they were always professional. A special shutout to Ahmed, a hard working and very knowledgable foreman. Vitaly also did a terrific job supervising the work, if not on site, he was always accessible by phone. In the end he went above and beyond, personally coming back and fixing a problem with the downspouts that a subcontractor installed. Dmitry Dedovets gave an honest estimate and was pleasant to work with in planning the work. He also stopped by and the entire Dedovets family, including their Dad who made sure the cleanup was done right, is the best example of what the family business should be. We are truly lucky to have them in our area.I am also an avid rose gardener and I was amazed that not a single cane, let alone entire shrub, was damaged. I expected some damage, but the amount of care they took to protect my garden around the house was beyond any expectations.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them without any reservations to anyone needing a roof job done. I had very good experience with Dalex roofing. They did good a job with my roof, looks like a brand new house now! The job was done beautifully and they went above and beyond my expectations. Alex is a true gift in the business - a trustworthy, reputable gentlemen who has a great working relationship with his crew. He provides his expertise and professional opinion, never overselling me or going against my wish. Whenever anything came up, he was always on the ball and ready to hadle it. Dalex did a complete slate tear off on our 5,500 sq foot home and our large pool house. It was a job broken into two segments. They did the angled roofs on our house in the winter and we have flat roofs that they needed to do in summer since the temp needed to be warm for the sealant product. Dmitry went over the required work and initial estimate. He was thorough, honest and patient, answering all of our questions and concerns. The initial date needed to be 90 days from date of estimate due to their busy schedule at the time. However, when that time came, they actually contacted us without needing to be reminded. Vitally supervised the actual job. They showed up every day at 8am SHARP. In the dead of winter! They worked 12-13 hour days except for a couple days that I needed them to go home a little earlier (how many times have you ever had to ask a contractor to actually work a shorter day?) . They finished the complete tear off and roof replacement on both houses in a little over a week. Their work was thorough and they were clean. Every day they left the job they cleaned up. Come summer, they again contacted us to schedule the flat roof work. They showed up on schedule every day and did an amazing job again. Vitaly answered any and all questions and was available pretty much 24/7 for any issues or tweaks that needed to be done. When the job was finished, Vitaly reviewed what was done and answered any and all questions. He was not in a hurry to leave and didn’t want to go until he knew we were satisfied and happy, which we were! The following day, Dmitry came by again just to make sure everything was good and to answer any remaining questions. The work was beautiful and I have to say after having contracted more work than I care to recall over the years, Dalex was the best, most reliable, cleanest, most honest, most thorough and polite company I have ever worked with.
I initially called two roofing companies other than Dalex to inquire about a small leak in my attic, which was near where our chimney and ceiling meet. Both companies quoted me over $10K dollars worth of work on the new tear-off roof that was installed on my house two months before I bought it. They had said that there were issues with our flashing, and that the only way to fix it was to re-do the roof.Next, based on a recommendation from my Father-in-law who had a great experience getting a new roof from them, I called Dalex and scheduled their $90 full roof inspection.Dalexs Dmitriy Domnitsak came and carefully inspected the roof. He discovered that the leak was coming from mortar missing in our chimney and some damaged bricks. So we had DMR Masonry come and repair the chimney, which permanently fixed our leak issue.Dmitriy also looked into the flashing concerns brought up by the other two roofing companies. He discovered that there was in fact flashing under the tiles in the spots listed by the other companies. Dmitriy said that the two other companies likely did not think that there was flashing under the tile they were looking at. He said that this was because the company that installed our roof before we moved in put an additional layer of tiling on the flashing for aesthetic purposes (he even showed me close-up pictures he took of the small sliver of silver visible from the flashing where two shingles met). So he said that although this is not the way that he and Dalex would do a roof, that there was nothing functionally wrong with it.So to recap, he could have tried to sell me a roof repair that I didnt functionally need (like the two other companies). But instead, he took extra time to inspect our roof, discovered that the concerns were unfounded, was honest with us, and saved our family a lot of money.I could not speak higher of any contractor Ive met in the many jobs Ive hired companies for on my home and my rental property. Thank you Dmitriy and thank you Dalex!P.S. He also was very polite, kind, punctual and even offered to take his boots off when he needed to walk through our home to get to our attic!

We had a great experience with Dalex! Vitalys crew was quick, efficient, and always willing to address my questions throughout the process. Any underlying issues about my house discovered by the crew were corrected the right way. We added insulation below the roof of our bonus room (above the garage - ceiling is against the roof) and it was well worth the added cost. Thanks to Dmitriy for suggesting that Dalex handle that; it saved me a ton of my time and frustration over adding insulation myself! Niagara Gutter put new gutters on as a part of the contract and the crew was friendly and willing to make any adjustments I requested at install and even after as needed. It was wonderful to have such an open communication with Vitaly throughout the job and even better to be able to touch base with him a few months later to make some minor, final, adjustments. He was always happy to make things right within a day or two at most, no matter how small the issue. Outstanding - you cant go wrong with a new Dalex roof!
I needed a new roof this spring and after talking with three different contractors I elected to hired dalex due to feeling like they knew what they were talking about more than the others. I talked to three top companies as well not some Craigslist ads.The roof was installed quickly without issues. The people were polite and I was happy.Fast forward 6 months and I noticed water coming down my chimney. I was not sure what the cause was so I called dalex at 2pm on a Friday and left a message. I received a call back from one of the owners in 15 minutes and they were at my door 15 minutes later.He diagnosed the issue, which turned out to be a faulty mortar seal in my chimney, not related to the roof installation. He showed me detailed pictures he had taken from the roof. He then proceeded to fix the issue for me at no charge and did so with a smile.I would highly recommend dalex if you need a new roof. Youll find the owners and employees are not only competent but friendly and take care of their customers.
Dalex did a great job! They were less expensive and more thorough than the other 3 quotes I got and very responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend! .

Youd be silly to go anywhere else the other reviews are accurate. I was a little worried after a minor scheduling miscue, but Ill chalk it up to the heat and the virus situation. New roof looks fantastic and they left my yard cleaner than they found it. Phenomenal work! thanks again I will probably be back for the main roof in a few years.
Id love to write a review after having a roof installed by Dalex.. but I cant even get there! Ive called Dimitry about 5 times, each time he says he will get back to me tomorrow. That was weeks ago. He even came out and did an estimate. I asked him honestly on the phone if he has time for this job as it seems its hard for him to even have time to communicate - he reassured me yes yes and he would get back to me tomorrow (again, weeks ago). Ive literally never been ignored by a business - I mean, you came for an estimate, I would to proceed and PAY YOU.. and you just stop communication? A lot less time would have been wasted if you would have responded truthfully and said that you dont have time to do the job. Now its a month later and Im searching for another roofer. Thanks guys.
Stop looking for a roofer and just save your time and call Dalex.For years weve had a slow leak near our chimney that ruined one of our bedroom walls. I got quotes from 3 roofing companies, but Dalex seemed the most knowledgable with reasonable prices. The initial dianosis by Dalex was that the pointing on the chimney was cracked, and therefore was the problem.We hired a mason, and for a time, that took care of the problem. But then it leaked again. This time, we were sure it was the roof. Dalex re-tiled near the chimney and put new flashing and sealant on. Again, that took care of the leak for three years, but it started leaking again about 1/2 year ago.One thing I know is that Dmitry Dedovets, owner of Dalex, backs their work. He came out today, got on my roof and for hours sprayed specific points to determine the leak origin. We discovered it was in a key mortar joint, which had been finger pointed (and was now cracked), instead of ground out and re-pointed correctly.Dmitry sealed the crack (plus a bunch of others), and we re-tested the roof, using high pressure spray. NO LEAKS!Throughout the process, Dmitry sent me photos of each problem area – even a video of where he was spraying. He communicated the mechanics of the leak so I wunderstood the process we were following.I feel confident should there be any more problems, Dmitry will continue to back his work. I now call Dalex, The Roof Whisperers.
Fantastic company! The crew went over and beyond what we expected to have done. The work was completed in a very timely manner, and they were exceptional in their work , keeping the job site clean and picked up and in keeping us informed of the progress. Very professional crew. 2022-05-29I selected Dalex because of their online reviews, reputation, and years in business. Theyre insured, certified through CertainTeed, great communication, and simply great to work with. I walked them through a few special requests which they accommodated into the quote. They kept me well informed throughout the project.A few extra repairs were needed which they thoroughly explained, providing options with pros and cons. Every contract change was signed before custom work started so I was always left in control, knew the price, which made me very happy. They cared about putting the customer relationship first. No funny business.I threw a lot of extra work at them which understandably extended the project longer but kept tackling it. Very happy with the end result, look for yourself, shes a beauty!

2022-07-11If you’re looking for an excellent roofing company, look no further than Dalex Roofing. They did an amazing job on my roof installation. They were prompt, extremely professional and efficient. They were also very reasonable in price considering that I had double shingles that needed to be removed and disposed of. They installed 6 feet of ice shield and new flashing. They also re-vented my fans from the upstairs bathrooms. My roof was completed in one and a half days and when they were finished you would never even know they had been here, except for the great looking new roof. 2022-07-19After we lost many shingles from our roof during a wind storm two days before leaving the the area for the winter, Dalex was the only roofer who responded to our plea for help. They sent a crew, who stayed after dark to finish the repair. This past spring we requested estimates to replace our roof from several roofing companies. Dalex sent Alex who performed a roof inspection and gave a phenomenal presentation explaining exactly what would be done, our options, and answered all of our questions. He also provided us with shingle samples and gave us a list of homes with roofs of the shingle colors that we had chosen. Based on the competitive quote, the fantastic presentation, and the friendly, professional treatment we received, we decided that Dalex had the best to offer us.Max arrived on installation day with a crew of seven or eight, and by 5 pm the job was finished and cleanup complete. The next morning we found only one nail and a few bits of other construction materials. The finished roof looks great. We highly recommend Dalex Roofing!

2022-06-06I had a great experience with Dalex and highly recommend! I had a roof tear off and replacement, along with two skylights installed, and all new gutters. It was hard to find a company in Buffalo that installed skylights, but I saw many reviews of Dalex installing them. Everything looks amazing, and they were in and out in one day. Max and Igor answered all of my questions and were very helpful! Definitely recommend.

2021-08-23Very comprehensive pre installation review with a creative solution to a front door problem we have had from the time the house was built. Our roof has several valleys and a steep turret. Everything looks amazing. Dalex made several suggestions for soffit venting and ice shielding that will improve our problems with ice dams. They cleaned up every day and protected our landscaping - a challenge but they did it. Finally we have a great looking roof.

2022-05-02Exceptional. From first phone call till after full payment (returned to do final blow down/clean up), Dalex delivered. They tore off 4 layers, including original 115-year old shake shingles, installed new gutters, and even coordinated with chimney company before our first payment. Took great care with neighbors property, well beyond regulations/requirements. Dmitry and Alex care deeply about their craft and brand. Crew was diligent, neat, and focused. Cannot recommend the company highly enough. I will not need another roof in my life time so best I can do is pass along strong review.

2022-06-25The Dalex folks were very professional and hard working. The crew started at 8am and left at 9pm. The sun was hot and there were some passing showers but they kept working until a thunderstorm stopped them for a little while. They did not even stop for lunch. Hard working guys!Clean up was very good and I’m well pleased with the new roof installation. Thank you Dalex!

2022-03-28Dalex performed a complete tear-off and installation in the middle of winter and they did a wonderful job. They worked within the projected timeline and the roof looks great! They cleaned everything up and were very responsive when one of the neighbors was concerned about materials dropping near their house. I highly recommend them for oyur roof work!
