I found Dallas BBQ will cruising around in I believe the Brooklyn Borough of NYC. The workers and hostess were great. I knew it was a 🔥spot by the business volume. The server was cool but he forgot my salad and dressing BBQ was tasty. My daughter enjoyed the huge TV screen showing the Soul Train show. Good family experience.
The food was great but the service was mediocre. Normally after a meal, the servers would ask if one needed anything else but our server just cleared the table and brought the bill. No communication! We paid and went somewhere else that appreciated our business. It wS little disappointing since we were on vacation and it was our anniversary. The server was a guy with dreadlocks.
I seem to always gravitate to the same food on the menu and im never disappointed, the portions are nice, i get value for my money, tonight my server was khalid and he was awesome drank a gauva concoction (which i l😍ved) and tried the sticky wings he suggested both still had my fav which is the salmon with pineapple grilled shrimp. Now im completely full and happy thanks khalid.
The food & drinks was good. We placed our orders and it arrived in a timely manner. I am peeved with the staff because they ALL seemed annoyed and irritated. Their lackluster attitudes made it a bad experience. The poor service overshadowed the good food.
March 19, 2022 (Saturday). The food was just OKAY. The pineapple drink I had, was okay as well. The waiter (a Haitian guy) really didnt want to be there. He wasnt friendly at all. I was going to leave him a $7.00 tip (which he didnt deserve), But my son said, give him $14.00 (my son is a sweetheart),so he added the additional $7. I believe in tipping people, what they deserve (& he deserved $2.00). Hes just not a people person. He should look into another line of work. I dont understand why ppl work at a job, where they have to deal with the public, & have the worse attitudes. I tried to joke with him, when we first sat at the table, & he looked at me, with a blank stare. I was like, OKAY. Oh, & the elevator was broken, which is horrible for a handicap person. The Bbqs on Livingston is much better than this one. The food is better, & the employee s are way more friendlier. I will never go back to this location. I was praying that he didnt spit in my food or anything, thats how mean, & unfriendly he was being.
The staff were very nice they even sang happy birthday to my woman for her birthday! Fast service & hot food. Great drinks as always.
Great for large groups. Food is decent but its definitely a large corporate chain vibe. Music was fantastic. Veggie option is beyond burger and sides.
Customer Service is lacking to say the less! If you’ve been to one Dallas BBQ you’ve been to all.Called in take-out for two simple orders: cheeseburger w/fries and ribs. All necessary card information was provided: card number, expiration date and name. He then asked for my security code which is “different” as this is NOT what is asked on a order. When I questioned why he needs my security code he stated “they need this info as well for a phone order in case your card doesn’t go thru”. I then inquired if he had ran my card yet when he said no I thought he might have been trying a scam. I requested him to run the card and if it rejects I’ll pay upon pickup. He ran the card everything was good told me it’ll take about 20-min and hung up. We arrived to pick up food; the pick-up area and host station are not easily identified so I went to the host. She seemed annoyed but if sections are not identifiable you cannot get upset with customer. Food wasn’t ready according to the pickup person, so I went outside and waited. Came back about 10-minutes later and apparently the food had been sitting on their shelf when I initially came through. Previous individual didn’t care/look so food was now warm/lukewarm. Food is basic, nothing to write about.
THE SERVICE WAS GOOD, OUR WAITRESS WAS VERY NICE, MENS BATHROOM WAS DECENT, WOMENS BATHROOM I HEARD IT LOOKS LIKE A CRIME SCENE.. IT IS IN A HEAVILY POPULATED AREA, SHOPPING MALLS, STORES ALL IN THE FLATBUSH AREA, NEXT TO THE 2 AND 5 TRAINS.. ONE THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS WE WERE ABLE TO RESERVE A TABLE FOR ABOUT 15 BUT THEY WOULDNT LET MY FAMILY BE SEATED UNTIL ATLEAST 10 PEOPLE GOT THERE, SO NOW IM LIKE WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE RESERVATION, WHICH WAS AT 5PM AND FAMILY STARTED GETTING THERE BETWEEN 4PM AND 4:45PM IF OUR PARTY WAS NOT COMPLETED AT THE RESERVATION TIME ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS DOWN SIZE US ... THAT I DIDNT LIKE AT ALL
The food was really nice. I loved it. The fries were a little tasteless and so was the cornbread, but whatever, I came here for the MEAT and I was not disappointed.Hopefully theyll get the sides to taste a little better next time, but its really no biggy. Though, I do find it a little odd that mashed potatoes arent offered. The beef ribs are REALLY NICE and would go great with mashed potatoes.Truthfully, theres not really much to nitpick about. The food portions are monster-sized, delicious, and fairly priced. Whats not to love?The ambience was alright aside from the one coughing lady sitting across from me. Other than that, the vibe of the Dallas BBQ is good. The lights are appropriately dimmed and the music isnt too loud, so its good for talking with friends and family.Ill probably bring the rest of my family here to celebrate birthdays or something. 9/10 would definitely come here again.
We decided to go spur of the moment. It was good, however, I miss the truffle Mac that used to be on the menu. Hopefully they’ll bring it back.
The food and service is great. The person who sat us sat at a table that was leaning and wobbly. When asked to put us at another table she caught an attitude. This was on Monday 5/23/22 around 7pm . Beware of wobbly table. 👎

This place has two levels with nice huge space. The cocktails are super garnished and flavorful. Stay away from the off-peak specials and youll be fine with the rest of the menu.The TV screen with music videos are great, but live performances by paid local artists would provide better sustainability, seeing how this place makes so much money from the community.
Great staff and food was on point, second time here and cant wait to go back. Prices are norm but thats the new norm.
Really enjoyed eating here! The portion sizes are very large and very filling. One entree is more than enough. Still ended up taking some food home. Went home very happy!
As much as we loved the BBQs at East Village, we loved the meals at Flatbush BBQs. The portion of the salmon and grilled shrimp was outrageous and was so good . The vegetables were perfectly steamed and the added pineapples were delicious with a capital D. The ribs were not dry and fell off the bone. This will be our go to BBQ spot in the future. :)

The corn bread ,was terrible Overcoat .dry as hell. very hard. The Baked potato was undercooked... They wanted $5 :00 dollars for a soda. $5. Dollars..... The only thing that was good on the menu ,was the baby back ribs... Everything else was terrible. I will never visit the restaurant again.. And then on top of that. they tell you what you should tip and they added to the price...
On 8/29/ 2021 I ordered take out from the Dallas bbq on Flatbush and Nostrand Ave. I spent $71 dollars. My order included the 10 piece Hennessey wings, a chicken and rib combo, a lil onion loaf, and a brisket sandwich. I had the wings the next day for brunch. While putting the wings on my plate i noticed the wings were covered in feathers. Never ordering from this location again.
The server spilled water all over my menu and table. Didnt acknowledge it. Didnt offer to clean it up. The highest of disrespect. Disappointed. My food had hair in it. I ordered the Early bird special. I sent it back and didnt bother to eat. The other two people I was with did not enjoy their food. I paid around $78 for bad service, weak drinks, bad food with hair in mine. I have not had time until to write a post about it and will be contacting a higher office at Dallas bbq regarding the situation.
I know Dallas bbq is good when it comes to drinks and food but I tried the fried chicken because I was craving some fried chicken and it was absolutely terrible there was no seasoning and the sauce that they put on it actually is what saves them. I really struggle to eat the chicken.Also the blue cheese sauce is for a dollar im not sure why you have to pay but it is ridiculous
Terrible customer service, Terrible attitude from employees. They do no check vaccination status here - so if you care about that and are careful about COVID then this is not the place for you.When people ask why I sometimes prefer to eat in Manhattan and not about “my people” - this is exactly why.
Seated for over 30 min, no contact with a waiter. Spoke with a busboy who addressed two different waiters that each stated that they were not assigned to our table. We went elsewhere.

The chicken wings are to big and not well done, the burgers are not well done, the workers are sweeping while you are trying to eat, its cold inside, the salads are pre - made with only two cucumbers in each salad, could not get a bowl of pickles or extra cucumbers. Sad results 🥺

Love this place, food was good and plentiful. Drinks was on point, they allowed us to sample several drinks before we ordered. Free red velvet cake at the end of your meal. Great service and loved the music.
Sticky wings never disappoint! Don’t get fooled by a 5 portion of wings it will definitely make you tap out yet alone 10 😅

We were told we couldnt be seating because we are a table of 4 and that the restaurant is busy . We get seated and the place is practically empty and the only booth occupied is a table of 3 so make it make sense!!!

The drinks here are enormous and strong , especially if you get the shooters added, the food is good too. The menu is burgers, chicken and fish assortment and in the average price range. Dinner and drinks for two should run you under 60 dollars. If your a buger lover I suggest the Hennssey burger.
The space was nice 2 floors wasnt too crowded food came fast drink was good. My server wasnt as nice to the women as she was to the men or as attentive. She also made it a point to sit everyone with kids far away from everyone else.

It was my 1st time dining here. I ordered quac, fries, sticky wings and Hennessy wings. Our food came out fairly quick. The wings was LITERALLY the size of my palm. 🤯 I Was only able to eat one of each flavor. Lol! The quac was fresh and my fries was hot. I was not disappointed. I WILL definitely go again.
Not bad service and food could be a little bit better. I ordered the Hennessy nutcracker that comes with coconut flakes around the rim of the glass my rim came naked, when I asked about it I was told they were out of coconut bits a few minutes later a server walked by with the same drink with the coconut flakes around the rim.
Went for my Sisters Birthday.. Was quite convenient as there wasnt a crowd present. The food and drink were great and they even served her some velvet cake and sang happy birthday to her. Overall, it was a pleasurable experience and would recommend for any occasion.

I dont kno wats going on, but this by far was the worst experience Ive ever had at any BBQS. We ordered angry shrimp, henny wings (sauce on the side)... wings came drenched in sauce, and a power bowl with salmon, salmon over cooked. Yeah we gona leave BBQS alone 4 a minute

The food was nasty, a really low class place. Waiters need to be fired. I had the dinner of the day ,The meal had no flavor, and over cooked. The only thing I liked was the fries and the shrimp which I still give one star. They play the same music over and over.....Just know It took me 30 minz just to post this and the waiters still arent here with the bill.
Months ago they use to send us the wrong meal over and over. After a little while, they (mostly) brought the correct order back to back. Now theyve sent us the wrong order again. Definitely check the receipt when the delivery person arrives before accepting any order.If you call, be prepared to wait forever to speak to someone wholl ask if you want to come get the correct order yourself. If you say you want to speak with a manager or they ask if youd like to speak with a manager, youll be placed on hold for longer that 30 minutes. Im guessing this is to make you give up. Im done with this spot. Its full of project housing, I dont care about anything energy employees.

One of my go to spots. I love they drinks never faced a rude staff. Food is always bought out in a timely matter and taste good i highly recommend their wings, the steak, the grilled shrimp, salmon and angry shrimp.

Waitress got our orders wrong and tried to over charge us. Then I placed a order to go and only got half of the order. Make sure you check your Togo order they will leave stuff out. And it took almost a half hour to correct the receipt. Never ever will I go to this place again.

Today I had the most inconsiderate and unprofessional experience at bbqs. My family and I waited outside since not being “fully vaccinated” for over 30 minutes. We didn’t even get water let alone acknowledgement from a waiter saying at minimum “we’ll be right with you”. We called someone over and still from a far they gave us the, “1 minute gesture” and we still had no one come. Then we had a young waitress come and first thing he ask is are we vaccinated…. after already addressing this and being placed outdoors. We said we are already sitting outside because of not being FULLY vaccinated and he said “oohhh that’s why”. Wait a minute, we asked him are you really saying we’re not being serviced because of that? Are you kidding me?! You guys are placing customers outside due to vaccination status but not servicing them or servicing us last?! If that’s the new system done sit us at all. Not only was this our experience but another family that had came during our wait that sat a few tables behind us. We were leaving and I’m sure they didn’t even notice… they asked us if we were leaving because we’re not being serviced either? We said yea we haven’t even gotten water and it’s been now over 30 minutes and we asked for a waiter and still no one came except someone to ask again if we’re vaccinated. They said no one had approached them either and they were calling over the manager. We decided our money deserved to be spent elsewhere. Please do not try to excuse this on a reason being that it was busy because it was empty inside with a handful of people not even a quarter of the restaurant was full. This is completely unacceptable and as a customer very frustrating.
Always the best food in town. The place is a tad bit cold for my liking so walk with an extra shawl or sweater. Reach early and get your texas size drink it will last you the whole dinner. Pineapple grilled shrimp to die for❤️❤️❤️

Was craving some good Bar-B-Que so I went here. Very disappointed. I purchased the Two Beef Ribs combo. It was not a rack of ribs but two hunks of meat each on one huge bone. The ribs were overcooked, as if made in a crockpot. BBQ sauce, not great. One rib was 80% fat! My fries were partially burnt, and I wasnt told that cornbread came with my combo. So I wasted money purchasing another. Almost $30.00 for a meal that more than 1/2 had to be trashed.

Terrible service. It is the second time I went to this restaurant, still bad service was given. The venue was very empty and patrons were seated in a fashion that respected social distancing. Yet, I had to wait 5 min to be seated. The worst thing is that I had to wait another 20 min for someone to take my order. All the servers were attending the other patrons, seemingly ignoring me. I was so hungry and frustrated that I left. No server stopped me from leaving or asked if I was taken care of. Apparently, they didnt care about getting money. This is the second and last I go there. The ones in Chelsea and LES will be my go-to joints as of now.

Our visit to Dallas BBQ was outstanding. Our server was extremely pleasant and welcoming with extreme hospitality. The atmosphere was very relaxed on Sunday, most likely because the weather wasn’t too pleasant, slight drizzle. For a Sunday it was not very packed at all. Overall great space, service and food. Highly recommend! Cheers.
Upon arrival they take temp and seat you so your not next to other parties. Drinks were very good as always but food was not on point, arrived cold and fried food taste like they used old oil. Our waiter was nice but MIA for long periods of time. Bathroom was very dirty.UPDATEWent again on 3/19 and food was excellent this time! Our waitress CRYSTAL was the best! Bathrooms still are dirty
This will always be my go to place for delicious food and fabulous drinks. Make this a first stop for those family or friends who are visiting from out of town to enjoy the experience of Dallas BBQ. I have been to several and all the servers are friendly and accommodating.
It was a last minute decision and it was wonderful experience. I waited about 20 minutes for the food. I took Lyft home and the food was still hot. My son had the Hensey burger and fries. I had yellow rice with broccoli and honey chicken. The entire meal was good.
Item was missing from my order I had to go all the way back there for it. SMT

I ordered ten Hennessey wings to go from this establishment. When I got home and looked at the wings, they very clearly still had feathers on them. I was so disgusted that i just ended up throwing out the food. I would never order from here again. If I could give a rating lower than one star, I would! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The wait to get seated for our #11count guests was not long our temp was taken, we waited forever for the waitress assigned to our table she was terrible trying to get our orders together. No waters, we spoke with the manager we were assigned a new waiter (daniel) attitude was super, we had to put all orders back in again everything from there was lovely , this was our #3rd time at this establishment twice before the pandemic we had a very good waiter both times this time a waitress (not happening) !!

Absolutely delightful, ambience was great. There were several of us and we all had different entrees however we shared the appetizers. We had fried shrimp, shrimp cocktails, crab cakes, and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious.
We went on a Thursday night the place was not crowded. Our waiter wasnt that pleasant he took our order and never checked on us. He forget a few things we ordered. Later that nighr 2 ppl in the group had stomach issues. I wont be returning.

It was very crowded. The service was slow, had to call the manager to get some help. He was very nice, he moved us to better seats and got us a new server. The food was ok not too bad, the drinks was good. The long lines to get in and get a table was crazy, but it was a Saturday night so it was expected. But all in all not so bad.
If I can give no star I would. This place does not deserve a star.Customer service does not exist at this place. THE FOOD arrived extremely called. The French fries were stale, Mac and cheese was over cooked, cole slaw was way too sweet, pulled pork had so much BBQ sauce on it, it was a sauce sandwich with a hint of pork. I can keep going about this horrible place.Dont waste your hard earned money at this horrible place.Take your business elsewhere. They either need to close their doors or get new employees because they do not know how to treat their customers.
Food was very good, service was lacking... waited very long to be seated and waited very long for food. 1 employee even told us she isnt a waiter when we actually only had a question to ask. So service sucks

My friend and I was very pleased and surprised they brought back their short ribs! Short ribs were so good and tender the meat was falling off the bone.

The service was lackluster. We had to ask several times for different things whether it was extra napkins ,extra wet wipes, straws. My friend whos expecting ask for a virgin drink she was brought a drink with alcohol in it. They corrected her drink of course but the young lady that was our waitress was not attentive and barely paid attention. The wait time to speak to a hostess was ridiculously long. Dallas BBQs as a overall chain is a great restaurant to go to to eat but I would not go to this one again

The staff was very nice, our waitress was good, but didnt really pay much attention to us unless we called her. The place was clean, as well as, their bathrooms. Food was good and delicious and the drinks were good and very cold.

Do not order from here. Management is nasty and doesnt take well to criticism. The manager did not take the time to listen and absorb my complaint, but I had to repeat my issue to management 2x. I ordered the taco salad and the restaurant sent me a salad, chili, and a $0.25 bag of cool ranch Doritos on the side. Doritos? They dont indicate that they give you a bag of Doritos on the site so why did I get a bag of Doritos.Steer clear....this place is basic and had poor customer service.
Surprise if you bring your own salad dressing you can have a lovely veg based entree salad and a baked potato and emerge satisfied with few calories.....

The food was disgusting I had to send it back a few times. The Hennessey Wings came drenched in the Sause. The chicken looked like a soup bowl.The fries were old.They brought back fries it was cold the second time lol.The Chicken they brought out was tasteless no flavor at all.The service was excellent but food was disgusting
They were pretty accurate with the wait time and the order was almost good but no scallions means no scallions and I was short a cornbread, and the bake potato was overcooked but they gave a extra cornbread afterwards and the bottle drinks were extremely hot for $2.50 but they gave a cup of ice. Service was pretty decent just some unexpected mishaps spending $85. Wouldve gotten a 5 but for the most part satisfactory

We went here at 1130 just as the doors opened in the morning. Please dont ever do that. The wings came from the fridge, which leaves me to assume they were from the night before. They didnt heat it properly and it was cold, fridge cold....and that turned my stomach from eating anything else. Theres something about Brooklyn where these chains dont care about their service or quality of food much. Outside of Brooklyn, service and food is supreme.
Only go if youre picking up your food. Waited an hour+ to be seated for 2 people when we were told 30mins. Got to the table and waited an additional 30 mins before I flagged someone down to ask if we even had a waiter because no one came to the table, not even for a drink order . Finally got a waiter and after the 1st time he came to the table , we didnt see him again untill he brought our check and had the nerve to already add his tip in there . He didnt do enough at all for that tip and he better had shared it with the other people that actually served us . Couldnt wait to get up out of there . Pick a different location . Not this one ! Queens, Chelsea, even Barclays location. Great ! Not this one .

Great service. Wait time for a big group wasnt long, and we were well served. Waiter attended to our every need and was respectful and attentive. Food was delicious and well presented. Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Kept very clean and inviting.

Wow, COVID has changed many things! Went there to order two racks of beef ribs and two bbq half chickens as take out and DESPITE having specifically expressed exactly what I wanted to the server who took and verified my order TWICE face-to-face, what I got to take home was two lunch box specials of fries, a piece of chicken and three ribs??? Tasted fine but NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Even gave me a bogus $1 bill in my change that was layered in packing tape rendering it unpassable.
Food is still the same as in decent. Drinks were good this time. Waiter was great. It is a good place to hang out inexpensively. Had their new drink, i cant remember the name, but it was pretty good. The waiter was able to give us samples to try first and that was my deciding factor as to whether or not to buy the drink.
Recently ordered (pick up)from Dalla bbq on Nostrand Ave. My order included 5pc. Boneless Sticky wings. The last time I ordered it was chicken breast this recent order they used thigh meat which gives it a different texture and taste...the visual of dark meat as tenderloins is not appetizing. I guess they found a cheaper route but I wont be ordering that again. Thank you Dalla bbq.
Im from Va....I just wanted to express the distaste for this restaurant... None of the food was seasoned.... The fried shrimp.... BLAND... The Texas Crunch wings, fried well ... BLAND.... Ordered my food and waited in the car, while the food was being made the shift change was done putting different employees at the front.When we(my brother) went back inside to pick up our order we stood by the pickup table/desk and the two women are talking because they just got in and are putting their coat and bag to the side. We wait, no need to rush these women. They notice us and now they’re actively avoiding eye contact. So, we wait a minute and step right up to the desk. Mind you, two men waiting for an employee to serve them, their are two employees right in front of us and the hostess behind us as well.We shout at them that we need some help, they try to play it off like they didn’t see us standing two feet away. Our food was ready sitting there for 10 minutes because I don’t know, I don’t have a likely face.When we show the employee our ticket we apologizes and gives us our food. The other employee laughs and says she didn’t see us. We laugh with her and tell her to dark in here.I’m not in the habit of arguing with employees for nonsense like this but you’re paid to do a job not act funny when you think it’s funny.Not gonna waste my time here again.

I love bbqs. I just wished they didnt put so much food on a small plate. Especially if its bbq ribs or sticky wings. You cant really enjoy it. I had to go home and really get funky with it..lol. overall delicious. Great drinks.

Clearly the drinks steal the show here... chicken is okay, I got the chicken and shrimp combo meal w fries. The chicken was like saw dust dry but the honey glaze would make anything taste good, so make sure to ask for that. Service was great, very fast!

The staff was helpful and friendly. They were all very pleasant, professional, and attentive. My issue is with the food. Even though the portion size is big it was honestly just bland meat, that was doused in sauce. The bathroom also wasn’t clean which I really don’t like in a restaurant. There are better options for BBQ.

I have been eating here every Monday for the last month, because I have errands to run in the area.My server, Jeremy, is very conscientious and attentive to my needs.Ive noticed that whenever he takes an order, he never writes anything down, yet never have I seen him get anything wrong.He also remembers what I ordered the last time, and I always have a slight variation from week to week.To sum up, the food is great, the service is spectacular and if you want an attentive, courteous and pleasant server to go along with the wonderful meal you will have, ask for Jeremy.
I had my doubts when I first walked in due to some young chick with an attitude when I told her how many in the party, and she rudely tell us to go upstairs when there was seats downstairs. So we went up and was treated well. The services was excellent the food came out within 3 minutes and hot. Much love to this place.

So many issues with Dallas BBQ, from the quality of food—jacked up chicken wings on steroids and an $18.00 price tag on a damn burger, to the quality of customer service—the staff acted nasty towards me girlfriend showing their displeasure for interracial couples—an issue that I emailed headquarters about. This place was beyond disappointing!
Took the family here and had an excellent dining experience. Service was really nice, without being overbearing. The food was nearly perfect! I ordered the honey chicken and ribs and couldnt eat it fast enough! I tried my sons waffle from the chicken and waffles and it is by far the best waffle Ive ever had! Everyone at the table had the Hennycolada w/ a shot and loved them! Only thing I can take away from this place is the underwhelming beer selection. But I guess theyre hanging their hats on the frozen drinks, still I wouldve enjoyed an IPA but that wont stop me from rating 5 stars.
Food is always great here, but they realllyy need to work on their customer service! Oh my God it’s like they hired the muppet babies at the Nostrand Ave location! I got passed around a million times and no one knew what was going on. They need to really get it together over there. I know for a fact I spoke to fozzie bear and gonzo at one point during the 20 phone transfers!
The food was decent (get the cornbread!). Decent selection of drinks (frozen cocktails, beer, liquor). Prices/portions are a good value. The staff were helpful and provided good suggestions. It is basically Applebee’s, not in a bad way, just the experience to expect.
One star is me bring generous. Unfortunately, I had to visit this location due to friends scheduling events and meetings. Why unfortunate? Its because every time without fail it has poor customer service ..Minority and other races alike. Serving you seems to come off as an annoyance. Ive met one nice person so far and Ive been there a lot. The food is good but typically wrong unless your doing take out ..if your going prepare for overcrowding beyond maximum capacity at the entrance. Wheelchairs stick to base level but public bathrooms are located in the basement. If the food didnt suck I would never return ..Sticky wings got some of us stuck here. Time to find another location .

From the first moment you arrive in that restaurant team give you a comfortable feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a kind place to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. delightful cooking, professional chief cook and stuff, reasonable cost and attentive service. I order a takeout,the rice had french friesinside.Also the salmon was dried and the chili beans were hard.I talk to the. the manager stated i could get another rice and a chili .He made up accuses about the salmon,when i should have gotten credit for a full course meal.
The two times that I came here the food never ever tasted normal. It just always tastes off!! The chicken is just very strange... their fries were the only decent food. Margaritas aren’t that good either, insanely sweet. Don’t recommend.

They did a bad job at managing the lines for pick up on Mothers Day. I ordered an hour before heading to the restaurant to get my food and still had to wait in line behind people who had ordered 15 minutes ago to get it. When I did receive the food the wings were tough, fries burnt and sauces I paid extra for missing. I wont be ordering from them again.
I went to this establishment tonight. One of the waiters with a long ponytail. Had a very nasty attitude. Extremely sensitive when I called him Sam. Even though it wasnt his name. You could have just correcting me instead of being very nasty. Its to the point where I do not want him to serve my food, and I will not return back there. Give you.

We attended a party of just over 50 ppl in the private room downstairs on 2/4/18. The server of my table was horrible. It took over 1.50 hours to get an appetizer of chicken fingers, after reminding her 3 times. She never took our main dish order and never brought water or asked if we needed anything to drink during the 4 hours we were there. We ended up going upstairs and ordering from the take out line which got us food a full 30 minutes b4 others at our table. She apologized and promised to remove my appetizer from the bill because of delay then put it on the bill anyway. When we complained about the service, she caught an attitude. She complained to her manager the entire night within earshot us and other customers.On the positive side, the other tables didnt have these problems, just our table that was being handled by this 1 specific server. The other 2 servers who were handling 4 other tables were hustling and on point all night. The food was good, once we finally got to eat.To place this in perspective, we are not rude, nor loud or disrespectful to anyone. We treat people with respect and expect that in return. This woman was simply bad at her job and when we tried to remind her that she had neglected us, she caught an attitude.
BBQS as a whole is 5 stars. This one is a 2 star. They are not consistent with their customer service. Its a 50% chance youll have good wait staff. The best one is on 8th and 2nd Ave in Manhattan my neck of the woods. I live in Brooklyn now as an adult, and cant quite get used to the service here.
I actually had to ask to be seated away from a quite crowded area (front/middle)... to a table in the back against the wall. Surprised that the space seating was not that great, since they took temperature and recorded full name and phone number.I ordered at 5:10pm and within 10 minutes my plate was on my table.Baby Back Ribs were luke warm... Baked Potato was burnt and luke warm. The entire slab of Ribs, Butter and Sour Cream (all super small), including a piece of luke warm Cornbread were all on a small plate. When I mentioned it to my waitress... she just responded that everything was just prepared and walked away..I was extremely hungry (Did not have Lunch)... and I unfortunately started eating... after I asked my waitress for an extra plate. She again responded rudely, saying You need an extra plate..?? She then walked away and went to the computer up front to prepare bills for 2 sets of customers - took care of that - and thereafter walked to the Station of plates/utensils... 2 tables away from me to bring back a gigantic plate. It was NOW 5:40pm and my waitress walked to a table diagonally across from me to eat her dinner.My conclusion... She does not need to be a waitress - extremely rude and looked disheveled. Her blond wig sticking out in different directions from underneath a Baseball Cap.I decided to still tip well because of the Pandemic - her thoughts and behavior might be the result of personal issues.My good conscious, empathy and good manners will never be compromised by a person with her uncouth behavior. The waitress was very kind and respectful she did a great job with everything she was very friendly and kind made our expanse there at bbq very worth it. She gets a completely thumbs up. I will be going back to that bbq she for her services and the food as great!!! Complete thumbs up all around !!!!
I got takeout so I cant speak to the table service but the takeout counter was excellent. My order was taken promptly and I had about a 15 - 20m wait. When I got my order my food was packaged very well.I got the steak and 10oz steak with side small salad.The shrimps were standard breaded and fried type. Ok but nothing special. The side salad was a basic chopped variety. Well mixed and fresh. The steak was the star of the show. It was cooked to a nice medium, juicy, with a nice flavor. It was prepared simply but it hit the spot.I also got a side of the sticky wings with sauce on the side. BBQs sauced wings tend to be drenched with a bit too much sauce so I prefer to dip them on the side.I also find they reheat better when they arent sauced.The place looked clean and several people were greeted and seated while I was waiting for my order. Everyone in the restaurant area was lively and seemed to be enjoying themselves. As a side note I do appreciate that they provide a few benches to sit on in the waiting area.Overall I was very pleased with the takeout service and the food.
I have come here at least once every semester for the past few years since they’ve opened. I think they have good drinks and the food is very good too. I like to get the chicken sandwich and a bulldog drink! The prices are fair and the staff have been very kind and friendly in my experience. It does get very busy due to the location so at times there will be a wait.
At this location it seems as though all the wait staff are angry, while your ordering your food it almost seems as if you are not ordering fast enough because they make you feel that way. The food however; is well seasoned and taste good, the rest room in all the way on the bottom floor and if you are elderly or have mobility issues that will create a problem with getting up and down the stairs.
We threw my sons 10th birthday Ninja party here and although it started out where we had no place to sit for over 30-minutes despite making “reservations”, the manager assisted us and took us upstairs to a private section of the restaurant and we were able to get one of the best services I’ve had in a long time. Everyone’s order came perfect and on time. We left there happy and my son had a great time.
Great friendly service,but your service on food is a no I ordered a steak with shrimp and baked potato I didnt get what I paid for so for on that I will not be coming back.
I havent been to Dallas BBQ for a long time and last time Ive had a pleasant experience, this time Ive ordered a petite sirloin and it was disaster unchewable piece of greasy beef that that is defenetly not sirloin and tasted like that cow died from old age.

2022-07-11Came to eat with my boyfriend at this location and wait time was 25 mins, we got seated and the staff lacked friendliness. We ordered the BBQ special and asked for a medium steak but we got a well done steak, we informed the sever and he was questioning me as if I didn’t know what medium steak looks like . Was a little rude but he still replace the steak with a medium and that came out great ! Delicious according to my boyfriend! The food is great but staff really needs to be a little more friendlier if they expect a good tip . After all I go out for a great food experience :/ .

Food is okay too definitely the place to come if your like to full you stomach half way through the meal. The vegetable tempura was tasteless 🥲. The customer service is good.

2022-04-27I waited 3 months to eat here. I dont usually go to this location but have in the past and it was delicious. This go round was a disappointment. The sticky wings were great but the meal was eh. The chicken in the combo appeared to have a ton of tempura batter and the honey sauce was soaked and made it soggy. It didnt even look like chicken. The white meat was super dry and yes I know white meat is a dryer meat.The ribs were way too saucy and the shrimp was okay.Seems as if they changed the recipe and it left me disappointed. Spent $100 and left unsatisfied.BBQs is a must when Im visiting and this time I could have done without it.Our server was great.The pineapple crush drink was good.

2022-02-17When Im in the city (BK, NYC), coming here with my hubby 1 night during our visit is a must! I need to try other things on the menu, but those sticky and Henny sticky wings...omg! The 5 whole wings was more than enough. I even flew back with 3 in my carry on... 😆 I was a little disappointed that cornbread is now a side item, and not included with your meal; however, it tastes the same, just a smaller portion. That drink, that drink, that drink...it was two drinks and a shot in one. See you next time Dallas BBQs. Let us franchise a spot in conjunction with our local The Chat & Chew in Atl, Ga!

2021-05-09We were so pleased with their service.The waiters were attentive. The decor for Mother’s Day was fantastic. This location feels like a mini getaway from the hustle and bustle that’s in the Flatbush Junction area.Our food came out quickly. As always the food is consistently delicious. Hot and ready to eat.If you need to make a pit stop while shopping or as a passerby, GO HERE!
