Dance Club International is INCREDIBLE!!! They catered our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. They were so attentive and responsive to all my questions and truly wanted our day to be perfect. I planned my wedding out of state so I was in constant contact with them, and they were always happy to make suggestions or changes to our desired menu. Every plate of food at our reception was scraped clean and I heard from multiple guests about how they wanted seconds! Its THAT good. I highly recommend using Dance Club International for all of your food and beverage related services. Everything is taken care of and all you have to do is enjoy your wedding day!
I went to my aunt’s wedding at this venue and it was a lot of fun. I was actually surprised by how welcoming the owner, Selina, was. The staff was great as well. The Caribbean food that was served was delicious and the place itself was spacious and clean. We had such a great time and it was nice to have fun with the staff as well as with my family. If you’re looking for a place to host a party, I definitely recommend this place.
Dance Club International banquet hall was superior to any level of service I have ever received when booking a venue for a special event. The hall itself is beautiful, it is modern yet elegant. Every time I visited (expected or unexpected) I was always greeted by Selina and the entire staff with warm hugs and friendly smiles. I felt as if I were family. I secured this venue for my daughters fifteens party at least 8 months ahead of time. When the day finally came I was very impressed with the service, the attention to every detail (the lighting is beautiful), the way everything was organized, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The DJ and the Master of Ceremony were deeply involved with their audience, they knew what music to play and what to say to enable this party to be the success it was. I will gladly recommend Dance Club International to anyone, for I witnessed personally the care and passion they have for their clients and their venue. Congratulations to all at Dance Club.
We had our Reception at Dance Club International in October. It is a beautiful banquet hall and was our top choice when choosing Reception venues. Dance Club is very reasonably priced with one of the best wedding packages!!We had the pleasure to work with the staff throughout our planning process. We cannot express in words how amazing they were. From day one, they were truly involved, answered every single one of our hundreds of questions (even if we re-asked the same questions), and made sure that our special day would turn out truly special. They were very easy to work with, always available, very responsive, and very accommodating when scheduling appointments to go see the venue. They helped us with everything from the small details to the big stuff. They put together a floor plan that best fit our needs/wants and even provided genuine advice from their years of organizing events.Overall, were very happy with choosing Dance Club International as our Reception venue. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.
I just had my wedding here last weekend and couldnt be more thankful of Selena and her crew. From the beginning, Selena was very honest and straightforward with me and my wife and we both appreciated that. The crew always looked to be working, between cleaning up plates & cups, pouring drinks or setting up for the next part of the day. The DJ they picked was awesome! Very energetic, played good music, helped coordinate the day of events. The place was decorated very well and the food was very good. My only slight, was their choice in bakery as the cake wasnt great. Overall, it was a great experience and Id recommend this place.
I LOVE this place!! My daughter has been going here for 3 years. She started when she was just 2. The staff here is great! The encouragement and development that they offer for my little dancer has been incredible! The teachers care about how each little dancer is improving on a regular basis. They have fun teaching their dancers but require them to be attentive and follow direction. I hope my daughter continues to enjoy dance so she can keep going here.
I honestly have to say this was definitely an unforgettable event. Selina, her staff and of course DJ Jorge, went above and beyond for my Mothers 70th Birthday Party this past Sunday . I was very impressed and so were my guests. The food was amazing and her decor was on point. I even enjoyed their cake! They took care of us til the very end. Everything that was left over was nicely packed and was not rushed out. I will plan all my future parties at Dance Club International. Thank you so much Selina. You over exceeded my expectations and will recommend you to anyone who needs a well planned worry free party. Ill see you in November for a Sweet 16th I was invited to there ;o)
Food was pretty good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Its a smaller party hall, but perfect for the closest of friends and family. Might be easy to miss if in a vehicle, so be sure to be on the lookout. The party hall itself is quite beautiful in my opinion. Plenty of space for tables and a dance floor in the middle. Had a great time! I wouldnt mind going again.
I hosted my bridal shower here and couldn’t have been happier with it! They truly went above and beyond my expectations in creating my absolute dream event. The food, the space, the incredible spaciousness of the venue made it exceptional. Everyone I spoke with were all super nice. Highly recommend them!
The intensely negative reviews for Dance Club International was a bit deterring, but I was so happy to find that my experience hosting a party here and working with Selina was quite the opposite. They were incredibly professional and accommodating, willing to working w my budget and make some compromises while making sure I still got the party I dreamed about! On the day of the actual party, I felt completely at ease that everything was under control (and it was!) and was able to have a great evening with my guests.
I have to say my experience at this fabulous establishment was amazing my husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here 3 weeks ago and Selina made all of our dreams come true the woman is so pleasant and passionate she paid very close attention to detail. When we arrived the day of it was like walking into a fairytale I cant believe what a wonderful job Selina and all of her staff did. They truly went above and beyond for us I was in such amazement. The staff was so polite. The DJ had a great play list and was great with the kids taking there requests. I highly recommend If you are planning to host an event this is the place for you.
The venue was very nice. Had a warm feeling to it. Selina, the owner was very accommodating and helped out with things we forgot. You can set the place as you like and they have different packages for people. It was very beautiful and the sound system was on point, the place is amazing and the staff is very friendly.My day was a huge success! I would definitely have future events here.
I had 4 parties at dance club. I always recommend this place and will have my parties in the future. Selina is so attentive and puts so much attention to details. The food is amazing. I chose the Italian food. The DJ is great and the staff is always nice. I highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem. Its been there for almost 50 years. They know how to give a great party. I always tell everyone to come here. Everything is done for you. There is no hidden fee. They are very professional.
This place is fabulous to say the least. Selina took such good care of my guests and I. Her waitstaff is so poised and professional. DJ Anthony has a fantastic play list I didnt have to give him one. Overall it was I night Ill never forget my husband and I celebrated our 30 year anniversary here and well probably have more celebrations to follow at this place.
I had my baby shower here about 3 years ago. The owner is fantastic! She was very kind and very attentive. The banquet hall came out even more beautiful than I expected. I was pretty picky on the menu because I didnt want to have the same typical Spanish food so i asked if we could do lasagna even though it wasnt on the menu and she accommodated it for me.
My cousin booked the place and due to covid the celebration was canceled.Prior to asking for a refund she tried making other arrangements to STILL use the place but the owner was very uncooperative, demanding more money for the rental even after a $1,000 deposit was already left for the date.During an unprecedented time, she refuses to refund the deposit even after reassuring that covid would not affect the business. . .apparently it did and she still chooses to be nasty and rude. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!
My husband and I were extremely impressed with the hall and service we were given! We had our daughters sweet 16 here and everyone was blown away. My daughter had such a wonderful night. One she will never forget. Dance club international is the best Venues in New York. So happy we went with them.
We had our annual holiday party here and we couldn’t be happier!!!This venue was amazing, the service was above and beyond! We have a diverse group whose appetites can be difficult to satisfy all at once, but everyone LOVED and raved about the food. The staff went above and beyond for us, every detail was met! I take it as a real sign of quality the waitstaff seemingly anticipated our every need.If you are looking for a catering hall with amazing food and amazing service- look no further!!!!
Being a part of the Service industry, I must say its very easy to please your clients as long as things are going well and the money is coming in.. but its times of despair and uncertainness that will show you who really has the clients best interest. And it definitely isnt the owner of this Establishment. To refuse their patrons a refund on deposits knowing that their services will not be rendered due to a pandemic is disturbing and ethically wrong! Graduations happen once! As well as Weddings and Baby showers! Why should anyone be forced to use your services at a later date when their event is a one time occurrence, which is what made the event special enough to celebrate in that manner. From what I am seeing, theres many others going through the same thing.Shame on you for taking advantage of your clients during a time of so much loss. Personally and financially!!
I had the best time of my life at this place for my wedding. My husband keeps talking about the day. The staff is so kind and their planning is on point and on time. I loved the experience and in future if I have another special event in my life I would definitely go back to this place. I am so grateful because they made my day special. I would totally recommend this place to any of my friends and family. And to anyone looking for a place to hold their special day.
Ive had my wedding and recently had my baby shower here. Would definitely recommend this Banquet Hall to friends and family. Everything came out beautiful and service is always professional. The servers are very attentive and manager is very nice! Loved both of my experiences here!
Horrible experience and we havent even had our event yet.Selina took $1900 from me and my husband and due to covid she cancled 3 dates understandably. There is no hope that this will change. Due to no fault of our own, she cannot accommodate our party. Fine, we understand. She tells us we cannot have our money back. She already spent it. So basically she stole our $. She is not returning emails, texts or voicemails. Next step is court. So unbelievably disappointed in her as a HUMAN being.
This place is excellent. They are precise very honest people. We had my daughters sweet 16 here Selina is so lovely and so professional. Took care of all of our needs questions and wants. Selina I have to say she went above and beyond for us. Her staff is on point. Very nice and welcoming. The food was terrific and DJ George was awesome he had a mix of everything it was alot of fun.
We had our big event there, and I must say working with the Dance Club International was a dream. They were extremely accommodating to all our requests, had lots of availability for deliveries and visiting the venue, and our guests could not stop talking about how interesting and unique the venue was. Selina and the team were amazing, highly recommended.
If I could chose no stars I would! In early 2020 my aunt went to Dance Club International to put a deposit for what she planned on being her son’s college graduation party in May 2020. She met with Selina and left a $1k deposit. As the the months past and NYC was faced by unprecedented times and completely shut down due to the pandemic she reached out to Selina to discuss cancellation options. From the moment of the first phone call to all the calls and emails after Selina was rude, unprofessional and lacked empathy for what families including ours were going through. She REFUSED to return the deposit stating the contract had a no refund clause. She also stated that they are a million dollar company and didn’t need our business, yet they are refusing what seems to be consistent refunds! However, what the contract also lacked was a clause for pandemics as we are facing. After WEEKS of calling and emailing Selina finally answered the call not realizing it was my aunt (she had blocked her number). She agreed to transfer the deposit over to a later date but insisted on my aunt giving her a date. She also would not honor the contractual price. It is now October 2020 and we are still dealing with the pandemic, state/city restrictions, deaths and my family is unable to give her a date. The lack of understanding is what is unsettling. Through this pandemic my aunt lost her job and she is out $1k because this venue is so money hungry. It’s unfortunate that a neighborhood establishment would treat clients this way. I would never recommend this venue and I am an event planner. Next step will be court as soon as we can go file. I warn potential clients to STAY AWAY!
We went to 5 possible locations at or near Queens for my daughters quince. We, definitely, saved the best for last, and excitedly booked Dance Club International on the day of our tour. By far this was the most beautiful venue which is filled with so much character, from vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, arches throughout, a cozy, brick-exposed dressing room, just to name a few. The staff was so helpful and patient. Thank you for a wonderful and most memorable experience. My daughter did not stop smiling all night long.
My daughter moved studios almost 4 years ago to Club. It was the best decision I ever made. My daughter has grown tremendously as a dancer since switching studios. Club has the best staff and teachers who genuinely care about the kids. The training and quality is top notch. We love Club!
I just came to a party this afternoon. I really loved the party. Selina was so helpful and did everything she could to ensure a great party. She worked with us and we had a fantastic time. Food was excellent. Definitely recommend highly. Will come back again. Our family had many parties here
Really happy with how our Daughter Graduation party went! Booking was extremely easy and very professional. I especially want to thank the manager for trying so hard to make sure everything was set right. Our guest had a fantastic time, but above all our daughter had a amazing night! Thank you DCI!
Where should I start. Such a very bad experience at this place. The manager her name is Selina, she is so unprofessional everything is the opposite from the contract she wrote we got paper plate and plastic cups instead of proper utensil, had to paid separate for chair covers when she told us from the beginning it’s covered in the price. A cake was included but she brought out 2 tubs of Breyers ice cream instead. She substituted green olives instead of chicken breast. Worst event place ever. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. She limited the food to the guests. Also DJ was horrible. Paid so much money to her to get the best and ended up with the worst service ever. Event was booked for 7pm but some of our guest showed up a little early due to bad weather and she ended the party half an hour early. I am in complete shock at how much money I spent and the service I received. Please do not book here. I am amazed at how she is getting business.
My reception was held here and it was the BEST place ever!! It turned out to be more than I could have even imagined! The staff, tables, security just everything was simply amazing!! Martha was awesome she is very comforting when going through such stressful planning. She just kept reassuring me everything was going to be alright and again it more than exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much Dance Club International I will definitely be using this hall again you made my event that much more memorable! Words cannot express the magic that was created that day.
I had the privilege to visit here for an occasion. It is a large room which is clean and very beautifully decorated. There is another room but a little higher which is accessible through a short stairway. The large room has plenty of tables and chairs along one side from front to back and the other side has a large dance floor. On this side of the wall has a mirror from ceiling to floor and from front to back. Personally, that makes the room looks so big. I saw some chairs in the other room but I did not go in there. I also like the floor and the wall which looks clean, neat, new & professionally built. There is plenty of lights everywhere and some are changing colors all the time. The lights are also beautiful. If you are looking for a place to fit about seventy five persons, I will recommend this place. One other thing, it is in a nice neighbourhood. If there is no parking space on Metropolitan Avenue, they are always available in the streets.
My 2 daughters have been dancing at Club Dance since they were 2-3 years old. Now they are 10-12 years old. The instructors are knowledgeable in their genre of dance and provide constructive criticism to improve dancers skill level. I love how they have the Strut Club learn all facets of dance. Even though my oldest did not make Company she was not devastated, but more determined for next year. Would recommend Club Dance to any level of dancer as they have it all!
We just had our Daughter Briannas Quinceñera at Dance Club International last night and I could not be more pleased and grateful for the staff. The Hall was Beautiful Tables chairs and decorations were set up to our liking. Staff is very coordinated, professional, and they catered to every detail we wanted they delivered. All my guest were happy and received compliments all night in regards to the Hall. Once again thank you for making our Daughters event a memorable one. Will definitely have our next event at Dance Club International!!!
Im glad I went to Dance Club International. First of all, I loved dealing with the people, they were really nice. To me, even if the price is right and the place looks great, customer service is more important. And these guys got it right. I just loved the vibe that I got from them. And Im glad I trusted that. My event was 2 weeks ago, and it went really well. Everything went according to plan, and even when we were running late, the crew at DCI went over and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you guys.
No words can even begin to describe the level of disappointment Ive experienced from this venue. If i could rate .2, i would. Traveled all the way from Toronto for a family event over the weekend to receive such horrible service. The bathrooms were dirty, the food portions were minimal, the DJ was not up to par & to top it all off the manager cut our party short, because guests arrived late due to the horrible weather. The manager was so rude overall & should really learn to talk to her staff with more respect especially in front of other people. DO NOT waste your time here. You pay more than what you receive.. its a amazing to see the lengths these companies go to beg people to write BS reviews for the page.
The hall is beautifully decorated. The serving staff is very nice. However, the owner is rude and absolutely horrible. While at a party there she yelled at some of her staff members. On one occasion she was arguing with a server and she physically pushed him into her office and slammed the door. During the meal the food was served as a buffet style but the servers would serve you the food and would not let you touch anything. They literally gave you a tablespoon of food. I wanted chicken and he literally gave me 1 small strip. One of the other guest asked for pasta and broccoli and the owner scooped up 3 pieces of broccoli and put it on her plate. There were 2 stations of food and she would yell at the guest to go to the other station first before going to that station even if the people didnt want food from the other station. She was absolutely horrible and treats her staff and guest with no respect. I personally would not rent this hall out and would not attend any other event here. If you want your guest treated with respect this is not the place to go.
Its a lovely facility with a great staff. Making sure that your party has all the amenities you want is as important to them as it is to you - probably more so. Theyre very flexible with whatever your budget and specific needs are. Ive been to a wedding, birthday party and Christmas celebration there. All 3 are nights I wont forget!
We recently had a wedding take place at Coco Plum on Dec. 5, 2015. They were there from the very beginning to help with every step of the wedding-planning process. Not only were they extremely responsive to every phone call and email, they also made sure every detail we discussed was brought to life the day of the wedding. They go out of their way to make sure you feel like royalty the day of your wedding and that the day is ALL ABOUT YOU. We experienced unusually bad weather the day of our wedding and they were able to put up a tent for cocktail hour that turned out beautifully. They truly are a dream team and we would recommend having your wedding at Dance Club International in a heartbeat. We still have family and friends commenting on how amazing our wedding was and we truly owe it all to them.
Amazing Experience. My daughter Riley has been part of Club Dance studio for over a year now. We both absolutely love Club Dance. I have seen a dramatic improvement in Rileys dance skills in such a short time, it also has been a great confidence booster for her. She has made great friends, and truly looks forward to going to dance. The studio is a welcoming environment, the office staff is great, and the teachers really want the dancers to do well. I would recommend any new or experienced dancers to join this great
Came to an event last week. They have a great staff, Selina was so helpful. I cant say everything went perfect. Guests came late unfortunately. So we had to wait. The Italian food was really delicious. The way the whole room was lit made it so much fun. Decor was so chic and classy. Had fun.
Had a surprise party for my parents here and Selina (Manager) appeared to be pleasant during the beginning stages of booking an event. As I met with Selina and discussed package deals and provided some suggestions I had for the party that I am paying for, her first remark to me was This Is Not A McDonalds Party (Red Flag# 1) as the days began to get closer my guest list started to grow. (I was paying for Food, Seating & Venue) since I live out of NY I had a relative make payments for me in my absence. One of those days that payment was made Selina mentioned to my relative that someone stole 3K from her office in business checks. (Red Flag #2) I didnt pay any attention to that since it had nothing to do with me. As the day of my party came since it was surprise. I had relatives drop off adult beverages and had a live band set up. Prior to the event, I sent an email with an event program that consisted of making sure the food was hot and the beers were cold. When my relatives came Selina said in a condescending and sarcastic tone Oh I got the Program or List and that she thought it was hysterical (Red Flag #3) When the beers were dropped off my relative asked Selina if they needed to provide anything to her and she said in a LOUD TONE I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT FOR THIS PARTY THAT I WOULD NOT DO FOR ANY OTHER PARTY (Red Flag# 4) as an event planner her customer service skills are HORRIBLE, CONDESCENDING, SARCASTIC and ABSOLUTELY RUDE. As the night of the party continued I ended up paying an additional 1K in cash for the extra people who only stopped in to say hello and goodbye these guest did not eat or sat at the party. The staff was very pleasant compared to Selina with the exception of one woman (with dirty blonde streaks in her hair) that server was rude just like Selina. If you plan on booking here make sure you are ready for a nasty and rude manager to assist you with your event. The first meeting will be pleasant but as the days get closer to your event be prepared to receive sarcastic remarks and rude attitude.

This hotel has a great location and a wonderful history. We had a larger than average room--had plenty of room for three people and luggage, and wonderful housekeeping service. The rooms are very, very nice--our bathroom was amazing. The hotel is very convenient to Metro lines and a quick walk to the National Mall area. Easy to access Georgetown as well. Not a lot of restaurants on the neighboring blocks, but just 5 minutes up the road toward Dupont Circle are many to choose from. We would stay here again, for sure.
Oh my God where do I begin from the start Selina was just so amazing she made sure my daughters baby shower was everything we could hope and dream of from the food to the music decorations to the cake Selina and her staff definitely made us feel like we were family. I had a wedding reception at dance club. I cannot thank enough the entire management. Selina and jeanine helped me with everything I needed. They made sure my money was spent well. The room looked mints the way I wanted. Food was Spanish and Italian , everyone raved about it. The decor was done for me. The DJ was so helpful . All in all I can recommend this place with certainty. Will definitely come back
Where do I start? What a horrible place to do business with to have an event! Please do yourself a favor and take your business to another venue. Selina is not issuing a refund for an event that was suppose to happen early summer. Due to COVID-19, which is completely out of our control ... there has been a restriction on all events across NYC and Selina knows this! The pandemic had ruined our event plans. How can Selina who is the manager at Dance Club International keep our money when no services has been rendered? Myself and other people want our deposit refunded. We have tried to contact Selina numerous times but no emails, texts or voicemails have been returned. Is this how you do business with your customers? You just keep their money!!!! DO NOT have your event here! Selina (the manager) is very unprofessional.
Until a recent gala, I had no idea there was a banquet hall in Middle Village. The area is perfect for small to medium events. The setup creates an easy flow for guests. I cant comment on the prices but the atmosphere and elegance of the decor where spot on!
The entire staff we had for our 1 pm event that we had was awesome!! young high-school student who payed attention to detail. one of the best servers Ive encountered. however there seems to be a supervisor by the name of Selena who was the worst on staff managerial supervisor I have met. she down talked and be little different all employees beneath her in front of me and my 60 guests. her staff was doing an amazing job but she seemed have an issue with everything they did. your current staff is amazing and super helpful and polite. Selena however is the nastiest manager i have ever met. your sales will decrease because of her performance.
I really like this place! Although it gets really crowded sometimes and on the top floor there is almost no room to dance on right before 12....And nobody starts dancing upstairs until 10:30. The service is nice tho. If you are into Latin music this is the place to go. They have a variety of music. And girls.., there are always cute guys there that go alone. So go with your girlfriends and have a fun night out.
Catering hall from HELL!!! I held a celebration there this past July for my mothers birthday & sadly it wasnt a positive experience doing business with this place. Partners Nina & Selina are extremely unprofessional!!! Nina doesnt have a clue, and Selina is extremely condescending, and disrespectful! They did put on a good front in the beginning, they had me believe they were good business people that cared, and respected their customers. I was extremely wrong. I dealt with Selina for most of my experience, unfortunately. After my first down payment the masks were off, Selina became extremely difficult to deal with, and ridiculously unorganized. #1 I was charged for services I did NOT desire, after I had already made my final payment I was charged for additional services that I did not require or desire, and then threatened to have my party canceled less than a week prior to it if I did not pay her. #2 I paid for a DJ specializing in Christian music, and ended up having to ask my guests for CDs to give the DJ to play because he did not specialize in Christian music as Selina said he did. #3 The seating arrangements were changed on me last minute, so the seating cards I had did not match the tables, when I arrived ALL of my guest were standing (I was mortified!). #4 The color theme for my party was mint green and silver, the catering hall was aware of this and they supplied me with a PINK cake! PINK! #5 There were candles on the tables where my guests sat that read Gabbys Sweet 16, my mothers name is not Gabby, and she sure wasnt turning 16. The only thing they got right was the food,and thats because another company supplies them with it. The only reason this party wasnt an absolute disaster was because of the wonderful staff (DJ & servers) that saw me in distress over the situation and did their best to help and make things work, no thanks to their boss Selina who treats them with little to no respect from what I witnessed. Thankfully my mother was happy in the end and enjoyed her party regardless of the drama. For those who are wondering, yes a lawsuit is in the works! Oh, and for those of you who have checked reviews of this place on Yelp and have not seen a negative one about this place, its because Selina takes in upon herself to delete them from what Ive heard, and I have photos of past reviews that are no longer available to prove it.Hope my review helps steer you all clear of this place!

Our daughter Ellie (8yrs old) has been dancing at Club Dance Studio for almost 6 years now. We feel so grateful for a safe, encouraging and positive dance studio for her to call home. Its been so much fun to see her grow up not only as a dedicated dancer but as a truly good person from the life lessons shes learned here in the studio. Thank you for making this her special place
Manager selina was very rude. My friend booked the place for today and i must say the manager selina was being very aggressive and caused a scene when she realized that my friend brought her own cheese. Because of that, she did not allow my friend to put the deserts she brought out for the guests (even though she paid 200 dollars for insurance to be able to bring her own deserts). If I could give this place 0 stars I would. If you want to pay people to ruin your party look no further.....
I came here for a small conference. The venue is quite nice. The staff did a good job of being mostly invisible in a good way where food magically appears and used dishes magically disappear. Parking isnt great but I was able to find something a couple blocks away. Not bad for Queens.
The venue is very pretty, However I had my daughters 2nd birthday there in October 2016 and the place ran out of soda and had to buy more in the middle of the party. However, Selina was not there. I thought it was fluke because everything else was fine, but Selina was not there and the staff was so nice. I decided to have another birthday there however Selina was there and it was aweful. Selina was rude, unprofessional, and arrogant. I gave her a count of 50 people and I have about 6-7 extra people who were not suppose to come, could make it last minute. Selina was furious during the party and kept interrupting me, and I had no intention of not paying it was unexpected. However, the food ran out before even 50 people got there!! Why, because the catering person dropped the receipt and we took a picture... she only bought 35-40 people worth of food! she paid under 500 for that food! Shes a rip off! Her staff was pleasant but she was unprofessional screaming and cursing at staff! we paid her for the extra people even though the food was ordered and it was basically for 6 extra chairs!! A good business person would have made a deal to keep a good customer and not rip people off. Never going back here again and I dont recommend it. They also ran out of coffee.
Where do I begin?This by far has been the worse event catering hall I have ever booked. As I sat here and read all the one star reviews, EVERYTHING that was shared is exactly what took place. Before you keep reading, please know that this is the kind of establishment that should be SHUT DOWN and put OUT OF BUSINESS because it robs people of not only their money but a great time during a significant moment in their lives.THE OWNER/MANAGER - SELINA, the owner/manager of the location has to be one of the most disorganized, rude, and unprofessional persons I have ever met. Day one when you meet her she is friendly and assuring that what you are desiring for your event she is able to produce. But as you get closer to your event, you leave messages she doesnt return and days before the event she calls to go over the event and let you know of all the things you can and cannot do. When I mentioned that these are things she should have mentioned day one of our meeting, she says the contract is clear (which it is not) and that I wouldnt go into someones home and decorate it or change it the way I want it.FOOD - Selina gives you a choice of food (Spanish/Italian) you can have and a menu you can use to choose the food you want. At the end of the day, she picks what she wants to have at your party. On the day of the event, she ordered what she wanted and NOT what I chose. On the website you see plates and utensils that are NOT plastic but what I got were plastic plates and utensils. When you pay for a hall you dont expect to be eating out of PLASTIC plates but this is what you will get. Not only are you eating out of plastic plates but she RUDELY instructs her wait staff to serve EXTREMELY sparingly. You get one chicken, half a spoon of mash potatoes, etc. When she saw one of her wait staff serving 2 pieces of chicken, she yelled at her in front of my guests. No wait staff should be treated the way they were treated and my hope is that they move on from there and find better places to work.WHAT IS NOT DISCUSSED ON DAY ONE - If you dont use the DJ she recommends, you need to provide her with your DJs insurance showing the Club as additional insured. You cannot have a dessert or candy station unless you provide her with insurance. You cannot put up a photo wall on the wall, you will need to put it on stands. She will tell you that she does not allow decorations on her walls and that she has never allowed this even though the pictures on her website tell a different story. She told me I could come Thursday night for a couple of hours to decorate. Then when she called me 4 days before the event and I tried to confirm coming in on Thursday, she told me NO, that she doesnt allow anyone to come in the day before to decorate, she only allows people to come 2 hours before the event. When I told her she said that I could come in on Thursday, she said she would never say that. When I arrived 2 hours before the event and saw how dirty the place was and how it was still set up from a previous party, I knew we would not be done in time. We were still decorating the place when my guests arrived.TABLECLOTHS - I told her that I would like black tablecloths and what I got was white EXTREMELY DIRTY/STAINED tablecloths with black overlays that did not fit some of the tables and so we had to double up on them. When I told her that I had requested black tablecloths she said that this is what they had and that I should have known this based on the pictures on her website. I told her NO I should not have guessed it based on her website because when she asked me what color tablecloths I wanted and I told her black I should have gotten black tablecloths NOT white tablecloths with black overlays. CHAIR COVERS are an extra cost. They are not part of your package.The pictures on the website, your meeting with Selina, and the cost per person can be EXTREMELY deceiving. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. All the ONE STAR comments posted is exactly what your experience will be.
Ive been coming here since the Loop closed and I love it. Love the 80s and 90s throwback nights. Drinks are cheap early (before 11) , get your drink on then dance,dance dance!!! Nice people and great vibe here. Downstairs in the Crypt is where I usually end up on regular nights...great music.
The Dance Club International venue certainly exceeded my expectations. First, I was impressed by the consummate professionalism that was displayed from the staff and they adhered to our preferences insofar as interior design. Not only were the staff, in turn, able to fulfill our needs but they did so with expedience. All in all, with no reservation, I highly recommend this venue to be booked if anyone is hosting a special event.
Just had my event this past weekend at Dance Club International, I was very pleased and amazed at the professionalism of the staff. They provided us with many amenities such as catering, photobooth, surround sound, lighting, security, and open bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They truly do work with you to give you the best bang for your buck.
I am so glad that I chose this company for our wedding! All the arrangements and dining options were simply the best. The guests who appeared at our wedding are still appreciating the food and the Catering staff was friendly with us. Keep up the good work !!!
Went to a birthday here last week and the owner was so rude to her employees in front of the guests that it made us all feel uncomfortable. She yelled at her staff and instructed them to skimp on portions when serving us food. They had cut up Italian sausage and was upset when we were served more than ONE piece of sausage. I wish I was exaggerating. They gave me 2 small pieces of chicken cutlet and she reprimanded her staff in front of me and questioned her as to why she gave me two pieces. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional she was and how scared her staff was of her. The establishment was freezing when we walked in. She refused to turn on the heat until several of us insisted on her putting the heat on. Then proceeded to ask guests if they were too hot in order to to turn off the heat. The space was decent, but the owner wasn’t and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
My girlfriend tried to throw her son a wonderful graduation party that unfortunately was canceled due to the pandemic. With everything going on the owner REFUSED to refund her deposit even though canceling the event was totally out of her control. Now with EVERYTHING else going on in this world, the lack of empathy for a working mother is disgusting. I will NEVER give my money to someone or franchise who lacks basic and fundamental human decency.Ill spend my money somewhere else. And you should too!
I had both my daughters sweet sixteen parties at dance Hall the staff was great and the food was good we had a choice of Italian or Spanish and choice of decorations the DJ kept the guest on the dance floor and the lights put it all together. I gave it four stars because its not fancy outside but inside is very nice.
We had a great time at Dance Club International celebrating my Fathers 75th Birthday Party in January. We were able to decorate the way we wanted. Great location to have a party with a reasonable rental price.
I have been having parties with dance club last 15 years. I never go anywhere else. It’s a perfect spot . Very modern, sofisticated, elegant and easonably priced. The food is excellent and they provide DJ and decorations. All I have to do is show. They do everything. Can’t beat a stress free parties that they create. Always get more than promised. I highly recommend
NO PARKING! Money hungry owner, tricked me into signing contract. Was told I still had a few days to think about it. Cancelled the next day, event was still 3 months away. Was told I forfeit all funds. Was told I could negotiate for 30 people instead of 50, than was told no matter how few come in my case 20 people, I still pay for 50. Felt rushed. Took full trays of food away before my guests could go up for a second plate. Overall very sad experience. Would opt for a more professional catering house for large parties and a restaurant for small. In my case had a rented my own hall, catered the food and hired a d.j., I would have saved a fortune.
We just celebrated my nieces Sweet 16 this past Saturday and I have to say that although the venue was pretty, the OWNER, Selina, was completely UNPROFESSIONAL. What began as a pleasant event ended in the worse manner possible. Selina was tremendously rude to us and her workers at the end of the night. So rude that she threw us out while we were packing up our items, and cursed out her staff in front of us! She made promises that she did not keep and conveniently forgot about. Completely unorganized. In addition, the linens were stained and wrinkled. The centerpieces were murky and had random objects in them. Thankfully, our guests and birthday girl were not aware of her rudeness since it happened at the end of the night but we are certain to NEVER hold an event there again and neither will our friends and families. What a disappointment!!!
The owner/manager Selina is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. She addresses her staff in such a nasty and rude manner in front of others and thinks she can do the same to her customers. She made promises she did not keep. They did not make enough food, the food ran out before all the guests got to eat from it. She had her staff serving themselves food that was FOR the guests.. Great location if it goes under NEW management. I do not recommend this place if you want your monies worth.
Such an amazing place! Everyone is super friendly, and respectful, I must say I enjoyed their service a lot!! Theyre not only professional but the customer service is amazing and they do their best to make you feel so confident that your event will go smooth. Thank you guys! I love this place!!! Saturday night is gay Latin night. They play very good music and its always been a great atmosphere. The second story gets cracking. If your looking to go to a gay club where they actually play 100% Spanish music you can dance and party to this is the place.
Im going to start recommending this venue on my blogs. Its very affordable, even considering the location and the quality of the service.I researched them after going there for my dads birthday, and I must say that I wasnt sure what we would get when I heard the price. However, after experiencing it for myself, I highly recommend Dance Club International.
Who would ever think that Dance Club International could have such a nice place to host a party, bridal shower or wedding.Ive come here twice for special occasions and have been pleased with the staff, the location & the food. Dance Club International is a winner in my book!
Impeccable service and beautiful location for an event. Helpful event staff, and really good food. They worked with us through some concerns we had, and did their best to correct them. I would definitely host another event there in the future.
Had at 55-Year Venice High reunion there last Saturday evening. Our experience was fantastic as the place met all our needs I.e. enough tables set up, stage was ready for our DJ to play oldies, clean premises! Looking forward to our next get together there!

This place is really good. The price was great, and yet I had an amazing experience. I highly recommend them for the service as well as the price. I think that value-wise, its really awesome. I held a party there last week, and I had one last year as well. My guests had a great time. Great spanish menu by the way. And I loved DJ Jose. He rocked the house.
This is a review that I hope can bring light to any incoming, excited dancers & parents prior to their enrollment. Beware- A few, select students in Club Dance Studios Strut Club are very clickish, undisciplined and unfriendly. I took my daughter out due to the lack of real reprimand by the staff for the constant misbehavior. Ive made it very known to administration regarding their behavior and it was lightly acknowledged but remained an ongoing issue as the girls failed to take any warning seriously. If you have a teenage daughter, beware that there is bullying present at the school and not very much is done to put a stop to it. I was told that it is a very sensitive topic as the girls are under-age but we hear about all of the horror stories of bullying, after the fact, in daily news.
I had my graduation party at this event hall and I would say it was the best experience I ever had. They had excellent decorations of my choice of color and design. Most of all their service and treatment was exceptional.
On March 15, 2020 I went to Dance Club International to put a deposit for what I believed was going to be my daughters high school graduation party June 2020. I sat with the manager Selina ( even expressing concern about what was transpiring with the covid 19 virus) who reassured me that she wasn’t worried about the virus affecting Us/business etc. Her contract states that there is no refund on the deposits but b/c I wasn’t 100% sure of what would happen , I ask Selina that if circumstances beyond our control were to occur would she refund the deposit . She agreed and even scratched out the non-refundable text on the contract and wrote in “ refundable “ . As we all know the unimaginable happened . I understand this was out of her control . But what I don’t understand is Selina’s unprofessionalism to contact her clients keeping them informed with what her intentions are moving forward. I’ve called to no response. I’ve texted her to no response. I’ve sent emails to no response . The one time she did answer the phone she pretended to be someone else (employee who was just answering phone calls and taking messages) and then argued with me when I called her out. I read a review where the person called her a thief and bad human being. I can agree to that. She has spent money for services NOT RENDERED. She doesn’t have the decency to be honest and respond to us . I am also in the process of figuring out my next steps to get my deposit back from Selina/Dance club International.
Me and my wife attended a wedding recently at this venue and its probably one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen. The hors doeuvres are simply magnificent. So glad we were able to experience just an amazing venue in Queens, will definitely recommend this venue to all my future brides and grooms.
I had my fathers 50th birthday there and we had a doo-wop theme and it was great! Everyone liked the food. We brought our own cake. The dj was incredible. Was a good price for complete package and workers were on top of things and nice. Glad i picked the place.
We had an amazing experience at dance club international. All the staffs and managers were very helpful. Everyone helped us throughout the event, being extremely helpful accommodating to any requests we had. We would surely visit again.
I came in here initially not sure what to think. This was my first club experience, and though I used to wear black everything, collars, leashes and way too much eye liner, Ive been far removed from the goth scene since high school. I didnt drink but my friends were happy with their beverages which were reasonably priced around $7. If youve never visited a goth club and you have an interest, you should try this place out.
I always recommend this place and will have my parties in the future. Selina is so attentive and puts so much attention to details. The food is amazing. everyone raved about it. The decor was done for me. The DJ was so helpful . All in all I can recommend this place with certainty. Will definitely come back
Not my party, but that manager/owner needs an attitude check!!! She was so disrespectful to my friends. Instead of approaching a situation, she was aggressive and demanding. I have no say of prices and hours since I havent booked a party here, but I will never after that! Way to make a scene infront of all the other guests!
Horrible Place! About a year ago I had my daughters sweet fifteen and it was a total disappointment. She did not comply with what was promised and the DJ was HORRIBLE. She promised that she will give me an adequate DJ for the type of party I was hosting, but she gave me the wrong DJ that messed up the whole party completely. Im the end, she took the cake inside, who knows where, before my daughter was able to blow the candles.
We recently attended a party here. The staff was nice. But there wasnt many food options ,they serve little food and it was cold. Finally the lady in charge had a rude attitude. It seemed like she wanted to get rid of all the guest and get over with the party.
Came here for my cousins communion last week! The food was excellent ! Decor was elegant , and staff was very attentive ! Felt good to have some good customer service ! Everything went as planned and my cousin felt like a star! Would definitely reccomend this place and I plan on having future events here !

We had amazing time here during the Prague Zouk Congress. The venue is brilliant, nice floor for dancing, stylish bar and helpful staff.I was pleased with everything that made this night magical. A well organized festival in a great location with nice and friedly staff.

Had my sisters 60th surprise birthday celebration here saturday June 18th. A few mishaps and one or two details that were missed is the reason Im giving 4 stars. The hall is beautiful and Selina, Nina & staff are organized & attentive. My guests all seemed to be happy & enjoying themselves and complimented my choice in finding this gem. In a region where clubs come and go with trends, and even worldwide big names like Pacha cant hold on for the long term, QXTs has been open for almost as long as Ive been alive! I started coming here about 15 or so years ago, and still like to return whenever I can.They have 3 distinct rooms all playing a different style of music, which all differ from night to night. As an alternative scene club, expect industrial/EBM/terror, 80s, as well as some punk and 90s nights as well. A great mix that always has something for everyone. They have 3 bars as well, and drink specials if you arrive early (its worth it!).All this is great, but the thing that really makes this club is all the people. Everyone is so nice here, not just the bartenders and owners, but everyone in the scene is welcoming and fun. Ever since the long time bartender, now owner, took over its only been getting better! Definitely worth a visit, plus cheap admission leaves more money for drinks, haha.
Irst time there, the place is really nice. They have theme nights every weekend (ex. 80s night, reggae night, etc). Its more inclined to like 80s rock and roll. I went to one of those and I didnt know about it, but even when I like that type of music.BUT if that is what Im looking for, that is the place to go.
I booked my uncles 60th birthday party last Saturday. I really loved the fact that the colors all matched perfectly. Great lighting, flowers, etc... The overall decor was great. And very good customer service. Thanks guys!
Amazing cocktails and delicious small bites! Everything is shareable and this is a fun, laid back atmosphere to gather with friends/large groups. Service is great and ambiance is nice.
Everything was perfect we had our wedding reception and the price could not be beat. Selina was great very helpful and listened and met our every need. Our wedding turned out better than we expected
My daughter just started this summer and loves being part of the Pre Pro Ballet Program. She also has enjoyed learning from all the other teachers as well. She has had a great experience thus far.

I was invited to a party not to long ago. The venue is nice but the food they served wasnt the best , i would give this place 5 stars if the food was good, the house dj was cool but i would give in a playlist for my event , staff was friendly the bar was great no complaints about that.
I attended the sweet sixteen party here and was pleased with the food, DJ and all the events in here. I, along with my friends, enjoyed a lot. We all appreciate the hard work by the staff and organizers. Thanks for all the memories.
Some of their employees are rude.. When my fiance and I scheduled for an event, we gave just a little bit of downpayment but since it was not fully paid, the lady clearly said she wouldnt book it yet, only because the downpayment was not complete yet. Few days later, I emailed them saying we want to cancel and have the money back, I emailed twice and no one responded. We even called to ask to see if we can come and get the money back, and we did not get a call back. We tried calling again today and we got a very nasty response. One of them lied also by saying Selina left the office when she hasnt.. I know it was our job to read a contract BUT as an employee, it is their job to VERBALLY explain to us about the policies. I work for a big company also and I know about policies and it is my job yo explain iy yo the people before having then sign a contract. Selina was saying she was going to sue us. Ok do it. I have proofs that I emailed her twice before the appointment that we have to go back to the place. We also called and we have also proof. VERY RUDE PEOPLE.. VERY NICE IN THE BEGINNING COS ALL THEY WANT IS THAT MONEY!
Great place if you love alt 80s new wave music. Which I do. Ive gone here several times and always have a good time. good vibes good people. prices arent very high for drinks. around a 10$ cover and women are free until 11. awesome dj I wish I could shazam some music but the shazam cant even find most of them.

Been going a lot more and its so great! the music is awesome. my fav nites r the 80s nites. they have been doing other events too that have stuck in my head. 90s and new wave nites. those were a lot of fun! i also like their gothy type nites becuz they play EDM and industrial and it gets me dancing! its so much fun! the downstairs areas are just ok becuz theres not a lot of ppl down there and i wanna be with the ppl are. but they r worth checking out.
Special moment in my family’s life upset that the owner was noticeably rude and unprofessional. Overheard her speaking about my family. Treated her staff horribly arguing with them in front of us. Appears she didn’t want to pay some of her staff. You shouldn’t be proud of such reviews these aren’t compliments. Hope you fall of your high horse soon.
Its my favorite place for celebrations, we had a wedding function here. Everything was so well decorated and nicey done. We enjoyed everything there and its a fun place for everyone.

Ve been to DCS Club for the Bachata Magic Festival in April 2016. It also hosts regular parties for Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba and more. I was pleased with everything that made this night magical. A well organized festival in a great location with nice and friedly staff.
Have been here a few times in the past several years. Always a good time. The club is fairly small but there is also a downstairs area. Great spot for a fun night of dancing
I have attended DC Dance Fusion and the Friday evening dance sessions and it has been such a welcoming experience as I am just a beginner! A great way to get moving in the Winter and have fun!
Beautiful upscale banquet hall and ballroom. The food is heavenly delicious. And the service is also great. Cant wait to have another event here!
This place is the worst! The sisters were arguing in front of my guests in my baby shower, they threw my food away an hr before the party was over, and then stole my deposit money at the end. Im suing this place!! and I will make sure they close down for ruining my baby shower and causing me and my family and friends so much stress!

I came for the Pet Shop Boys tribute night and had a great time with my friend and her boyfriend. There werent a lot of people present, but there were some rather entertaining folks there.Next time I am up this way, Ill drop by for another enchanted evening.

But all I know is that every time I go I have the time of my life its just such a fun place ppl there are so friendly not like other club were you have to dress like a millioare so you can have a good service. Also drinks ate good and cheap. Its a place to have fun and relax. I been there Fridays and Saturdays love it

This place is so beautiful we thought that we goin to have the best sweet sixteen ever buttttt not not not god there is this lady that make everything so bad we like to decorate the day before like they told us we could do but when we are doing she apparently has a date and she turn off the lights and kicks out 😥well the other thing is about the plates how can they charge so much and use those cain of surveniars that’s so unreal well the only thing that was good here was the food !! Please people don’t go to this place u we us a business people treat our customers with respect thing that they didn’t do .... even the owner was screaming at me can you imagine that !!!

The service was horrible and my dessert table everything was gross not even anything to do with my theme omg the food was gross !!!!!!!!! The food was not well cooked one of my guess got sick from the stale ribs that the owner I’m sure made the night before !!!!!!!!!!!! Omg I am speechless lost for words I’m super disappointed I noticed that whatever was left over from my dessert table at the end of the night the workers were taking back obviously to use for the next party which is so unsanitary and disgusting ! THIS IS A BOOTLEG CATERING HALL DONT BE FOOLED !!!!!!!!!!!! THE OWNER cooks the food herself and she makes it like if the food is being catered from elsewhere which is a huge lie the owner is such a conniving person very sneaky !!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER ENCOURAGE THIS PLACE TO PARTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I mentioned to her about all her bad reviews on Google she tried to say that these were X workers who didn’t like her for whatever reason and that their competitors in the neighborhood upset at the fact,which is a lie because I am a person who truly had an event at this hall and this isn’t a fraud review !!!!!

Last month me and my family go to the dance club international First time, we entered the place we saw everything is perfect and the welcome drink is mindblowing.so classy and awesome.
Not sure what some of these people are talking bout... absolute pleasure working with Selina for my friends shower. Maybe these people just didnt pay attention to their contracts... would definitely come back here again, everyone had a blast!

Please please please read your contract... the game these people play is they have you meet with the assistant go over everything .. and then after you come to an agreement .. the owner calls you and changes things last minute (once youre locked in and have sent invitations ) and wants to change you for things you already thought you had included... ...ohh and dont your dare bring anything of yours.... TAKE pictures!!! Read your contract!!! Write down want you had agreed on

Only gave 1 star for the place,but the ower was very unprofessional,especially after you paid everything in full,had a 50th Birthday party for my sister there after all the promise only had two person serving the food and one had to keep leaving to serve the drinks.They gave us paper plates & cups,and what makes it worse 3 days before the event we had to find another catering services to get food.Because she claims that the restaurant she uses was closed for vacation.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND,and theres more but thats all I have to said for now.
Went for a sweet 16. Food was good, service good and DJ great! Nice space for private parties. Been to a few and all were very good.

Been here a number of times for a yearly company event they do for retires, the service and food is excellent, it is well managed and provides the services that are needed for such a event.

SHE HAD PLASTIC 99 CENT TABLE WARE THE CHAIRS WERE NOT COVERED AT ALL THE DJ PLAYED HORRIBLE MUSIC WHEN I WAS INTRODUCED THEY SAID THE WRONG NAME . THEY SERVED THE FOOD & QUICKLY TOOK IT OUT . THE STAFF SERVED ALCOHOL TO MINORS & THE BARTENDER WAS NOT EVEN OF AGE TO SERVE DRINKS . SHE HAS TEENS WORKING FOR HER . MY OVER ALL EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HALL TO ANYONE

2021-11-26I held a repast event for 100 there a week ago. The place is beautiful. Each area has its own section. It’s neat and clean. We worked with Selena and Teresa and they accommodated our needs. We needed additional hours to the normal time slot. Selena was very reasonable with the price for additional time. We only needed the hall and was able to bring in our own food. However the chairs and linens were included. There was ample time to set up and clean up. Our guests sat comfortably.Being that this was a difficult time for our family, I must say that these two helped make the day a little easier. The guests loved the place. I would definitely recommend it for all types of events.

2017-07-23Dance Club International took care of every detail to make my daughter sweet 16 July 21,2017 exceptional. From the moment i book the venue in January. Jeannine made everything clear and took the time walk me through the process. Any questions i had during the preparation she would answer. On our Event Selina ,Millie and her staff did not stop working to make everything we wanted to do was perfect. The food was great. I only gave 4 stars because my DJ Jose was a little difficult he wanted to play his music before a playlist we prepared and it made my daughter upset after speaking to staff he began to play what she wanted. I would suggest that The genres of music requested are played during the whole event.If your looking for a place to hold an event that you have to do little work and have a great experience Dance club international is your place.Thank you Dance Club International!

2022-02-07I had my daughters 15th birthday party on 5/2/2022 and I dont complain about the place because with the decoration that I put on it, it looks nice, but the owner Selena is a stingy not only that she speaks badly to you, she personally lends very badly service does not hire waiters she is the one who serves and not only that, she is rude I do not clean the room to give it to me clean every time I spoke with her she added something to the price I personally do not recommend it I ask myself more than 5 times what color I wanted the tablecloths did not put the cutlery the same I use two different colors I treated several guests badly and despite my party was 15 and he called me when I was marking the cake to ask me and he put 16 even though he asked me

2022-03-31I once again fell for this horrendous place!! After 5 years of celebrating my sons welcome home from serving as a Marine I had forgotten why I never went back to celebrating any other event here. It was a short notice since my daughter decided to celebrate her 16th birthday, as the day and the preparations began I slowly started remembering my past experience. I asked Selina multiple times to provide me with a picture of the center table decorations and finally when the event was a week away she sends me a white branch as the decorations!! My theme colors were red and gold so where would the white fit and a branch? for a sweet 16th? I had to spend 750.00 extra on last minute flower arrangements and when I confronted her all she said was am sorry and that she couldnt do anything nor discount any money for that. Owner (Selina) is all about money, doesnt work with you in any way. She promised to provide sodas and water, ended up serving expired sodas and tab water. I was extremely embarrassed as I had 124 guests. People wanted more food and she limited the serving portions, again so embarrassing as we pay enough money to be looked wrong when asking for more food. She had staff supposedly to help and assist and serve any appetizers I had bought, I ended up grabbing the pan and ended up going around myself. She screamed at my daughters for serving apple juice towards the end of the party. Selina had a lady at the bar that opened all the liquor bottles I had bought (over 1000.00 worth) and threw away all the bottle covers. The lady at the bar didnt know the difference between wine and vodka, I tried to jump in and she kept telling me to get away. On top of it all they were not asking for ID and I had over 40 teenagers., I had to go and tell her that she needed to ask for ID at all times. She as the owner of the establishment should know not to serve with the same spoon, pork and chicken and the rest of the food should have an individual utensil. The staff that was serving the food was not wearing a mask and a man was seen rubbing his nose and serving people, totally disgusting. I had the DJ announced the cutting of the cake and she never sent the staff to assist and we ended up having a 3 tier cake left over since people left without tasting it. She tried apologizing after she saw I was really upset and said that was the last event she hosted. She is definitely better off closing down since she is a horrible owner. The left over food was just left there and when I asked if it would be packed she said it was up to us to pack and she did not have any foil paper all she gave us was garbage bags, totally unacceptable and unprofessional!! Horrible experience, I wouldnt want anyone to go through, totally chaotic and embarrassing with an owner who is stingy and rude!! If I can give this place a zero stars I would but unfortunately I am requested to leave at least one star.

2021-10-30This lady that owns it is soooo nasty. She kicked us out and would not let us bring our own food. She did not let us dance to our own music. My uncle lost his jacket and she would not let us find it she told is the time is up and she could not come back. She yelled at our guest because we were dancing. SOO DISGUSTING 💩🤢🤮🤮

2018-06-19I held a Sweet 16 for my daughter about a month ago, and I must say that I recommend Dance Club International. We got a silver dessert table, and my daughters friends couldnt stay away from it. Thank you again.

2018-11-09I would never recommend any other venue. The staff at Dance Club International will make sure your event is the most amazing event of your life. I am beyond grateful to all the staff. My weeding on 9/1/18 was the best day of our lives. The food, the music, the decorations, the attention to detail was more than I could have asked for. From the moment I got to the venue, the staff made sure my guest and I had everything we needed. They made sure the groom and I ate, kept us hydrated, held my veil for the pictures, fixed my dress when needed, applied lipstick on me several times, and even went to the bathroom with me a few times. I am so thankful for their generosity. After the wedding my guest told us how great the staff was and what a phenomenal time they had. Words cannot describe how special this day was for us, and it was all because of the staff. They made us feel like family. 5 stars is not enough for the amount of work they put in to make our wedding special. There is no way i could ever recommend any other venue.

Everything was highly coordinated. Food was amazing and the bar offered a great and fast service. DJ was on point with the music, nobody stopped dancing.In conclusion if you are looking for a banquet hall this is the right place. You wont regret it

2018-12-20I must say that I had a great experience with Dance Club International. The location is spacious and well taken care of. Two weeks ago I had my moms 60th birthday here, which I planned the week before. Selina was lovely and extremely helpful. I left the decor up to her and and she did an amazing job. I am eternally grateful to her for that. My guest loved the location and complimented on the food. I am not a fan of Banquet halls, but I am a fan of Dance Club.
