2021-12-05A flat, level and paved walkway for those of any age. To the end and back expect to spend anywhere from 40 minutes to and hour to complete. Free parking with about nine spots (1 handicapped). Heavily shaded with deciduous trees makes this a doable walk during the hotter days of summer. Several worn park benches were scattered along the path. This place appears to be a favorite spot for dog walkers in the area.On the downside, the place could use a little TLC with worn pavement that was rather narrow. It was fine for walking or jogging but wouldnt want to roller skate or blade on it. The narrow pavement made for walking two abreast difficult. Also a roadway running 100 yards to the east reminded you that civilization was never far away though generally stood out of sight. Should note there is no real exit from the path other than where it starts. Porta potties are not available.

2021-06-06Another place to take your significant other. The view speaks for itself. Pack up the car and spend a romantic weekend with her in this area. DO IT!

2020-07-22This is my favorite Trail because it is a trail that actually goes near active train tracks instead of rail trails that are gravel and cement that replace old train tracks. The only thing that would have made this better is to see a train actually passed me instead of trains just sitting in a yard.
