When you arrive at this location, the buildings doorman is accomandating and guides you to the office. Upon entering the office, youre greeted with warm friendly smiles and taken care of promptly. The waiting area is comfortable and calming with offers of refreshments and anything else for your comfort. The nursing, the administrative and support staff all compliments the extraordinary Doctor Antell. He treats you like a celebrity and is very forthcoming about your options and plan of care. Dr. Antell has the operating and recovery room on premises for your convenience. After surgery, the after care is wonderful and addresses any concerns. Overall, this office is a place to consider for your cosmetic needs. I would highly recommend this 5 star establishment.
First and foremost, I had breast implants for 15 years successfully from a surgeon who no longer practiced. I was terrified when one ruptured (fearing the worst to remove and replace), but IT WAS TIME . I always knew I would go to Dr. Antell from what I have heard, read, seen and learned. He truly is the best. After the breast augmentation (which I scheduled 2 weeks after the rupture), I had minimal pain, only needing extra strength Tylenol for 1 day post op. Then I was able to function normally after 2 days. I just couldnt believe it! He is gentle and great at what he does, as there was no sign of damage and thankfully no complications (Thank GOD!). Smooth is an understatement as far as how it all worked out!The many years of experience he has speaks for itself (which is the main reason why I chose him). I knew I couldnt go wrong with Dr. Antell and my new breasts LOOK AMAZING and better than before thanks to him and his awesome team!PLUS I checked it all out prior, Anesthesiologists are board certified he is board certified and the In office suite/ operating room is certified.. etc etc! Trust me, if you need breast implants or are thinking about it, he is the one to go to! Thank you again for the beautiful work Dr. Antell.. I could go on and on! I had a fabulous experience with Dr. Antell and the staff at his office. They were so warm, welcoming and reassuring before, during and after my procedure — I could tell that I was in the care of a tenured professional and am incredibly happy with my results! I’m thankful that I chose someone with a lot of experience and knowledge, and was very impressed with the beautiful office space, as well. I saw Dr. Antell for Gynecomastia and Lipoma removal. Everything went exactly as described from the first consult and Dr. Antell and his staff were always delightful, competent, and helpful. I am a 22 year old female who went into for a rhinoplasty/septoplasty. I had a wonderful experience from start with the receptionists helping me book a consultation all the way through till the end with my final healing process. Consultation process was extremely helpful and comforting. Rosa who worked with me on the financials was supportive, understanding and made me comfortable with the entire process. The surgery performed was to straighten my septum, reduce my turbinates and shave the bump on my nose bone down. On surgery day the nurses, Dr. Antell and the anesthesiologist explained how everything was going to go step by step throughout the whole period I would be in the building as well as answered and reassured me on any questions I had. The surgery itself was quick (just a little over an hour I believe) and Nurse Nancy was thoughtful throughout the whole transition period of waking up and getting me ready to leave. A receptionist helped walk me out to the car to make sure I safely left the premises. Nurse Nancy called me a few hours after my surgery and even my father to check in on me, further, called to check in on me everyday afterward for 5 days to make sure I was doing alright. The staff always made it clear that they were available for anything I may need at any point before and after while in the recovery period. The recovery period was painless and quick (personal pain reference of a 2/10 for about a week). The big reveal of my nose left me being able to breathe completely normal for the first time in my life and the removal of the bump was a slight but noticeable change that really brought the symmetry together. I will never be able to thank Dr. Antell enough for helping me breathe normally. I am so pleased and amazed with the work that has been done. I am a previous patient of Dr. Antell as well as a couple of my family members. Roughly 19 years ago I had a birthmark a little larger than a quarter removed from my forehead. All this time later, the scar has healed wonderfully- it is almost unnoticeable. The scar color blends in with my fair complexion and is completely flat in line with the rest of my skin, no raised areas whatsoever. To this day, people I have known for years never notice the scar unless it is pointed out to them. The work I have had done to my face as well as all of the staff have completely exceeded my expectations. I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Antell enough. Extremely elated.
Dr. Antell was recommended to me by two dear friends of mine. He performed upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) for me to remove excess skin which was droopy and crepey. He also performed buccal fat removal from my cheek area to subtly but effectively reduce the roundness/fullness of my face that has always bothered me. I never knew there was a solution to that until Dr. Antell described it to me!Dr. Antell and his office were extremely kind, attentive, professional throughout , from the pre-op, the surgery and the post-op care and follow-up. My experience in Dr. Antell’s office was amazing. All the employees were professional and welcoming. I had a lipoma removal done and I’m very happy with my results. This is my second time getting a lipoma removal because the first time was done incorrectly somewhere else by another doctor. This time around, everything was explained to me with great detail, and he did such a great job that I know I won’t have an ugly scar from this. I no longer have to feel insecure about my lipoma! So thank you to the Doctor and nurse who made sure everything came out successful!
This is my 2nd time having a procedure done with Dr. Antell and of course he did an amazing job. I waited 5 years to come back and get some work done and it was worth it. Dr. Antell is an amazing, honest and professional doctor. His beside manner is great. His entire staff is amazing, to his receptionist, the office manager, the anesthesiologist and the nurse who was in the procedure room during my procedure. Ive known Dr. Antell for more than 25 years as a colleague as well as a patient. He is a meticulous and highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who always considers the requests and needs of his patients. His office is managed efficiently and wait times are typically minimal, yet Dr. Antell will take all the time necessary to discuss surgical options with his patients. As a physician, I feel comfortable giving him the highest recommendation.

From day one of going in for my consultation, all the way up until today with my post-op appointments, Dr. Antell and his staff has been nothing short of wonderful. The feeling of relaxation and comfort I feel when I visit his office will always be of importance to me. My experience with Dr. Antell was excellent. I was looking for a surgeon to remove my breast implants. My original doctor (who is out of state and retired) was wonderful and I hoped to find a replacement in the city who was just as good as he was. I choose Dr. Antell because of his experience and his bedside manner. After my consultation, I felt confident having him as my doctor and grateful he took his time to answer all my questions and discuss my options.Overall, I am very happy with the surgery and results. Not knowing anyone in the city to ask for recommendations I was on my own to find someone. I feel I chose the best doctor and I highly recommend. The office staff and nurses are also wonderful, even the anesthesiologist for my procedure. I couldnt have asked for a better experience and for that I am grateful to Dr. Antell and his staff.
Dr. Antell really knows what he is doing! He and his staff (Rosa, Nancy and Emily) are amazing! I am thrilled with the results of my neck and face lift!! No stretched appearance. I have a natural look. You cant tell when its done by Dr. Antell, because its done so well. I highly recommend.
I went to Dr. Antell for a scar revision procedure on my nose which other doctors hadnt been able to effectively treat. His team was super responsive, even with the pandemic going on, and got me a pre-check within the hour. The nurses and front staff are very kind and friendly, I was immediately at ease upon going in. Dr. Antell himself is very knowledgeable and thorough, and he walked me through every step of the procedure and every stage of healing. I was absolutely confident in his abilities and the results he would achieve. I now feel much better now and would definitely visit Dr. Antell in the future.
I initially went to Dr. Antells office for a consultation for a mole removal on my face. However, they were able to fit me in for the procedure that day, which was very convenient, and I decided to go for it. I definitely made the right decision! Dr. Antell and his staff were very knowledgeable and professional, and they made me feel safe and comfortable. The procedure itself was very fast and painless and it healed much faster than I had anticipated. Im very happy with my results and Im glad that I decided to go with Dr. Antell. If you want Natural Looking Plastic Surgery in a friendly, caring environment, I strongly suggest Dr. Antel! Ten years ago, Dr. Antell was recommended to me by a prominent, retiring Plastic Surgeon. I probably should have done more homework before scheduling my mini facelift with Dr. Antell but I trusted the recommendation and took a leap of faith and I am so happy I did! Dr. Antell took a lot of time talking with me about my goals. The surgery was done in his office. The Staff was friendly and comforting. Once the swelling settled, the outcome was perfect. I looked natural. I have been so happy with the outcome. This year, ten years later, I went back to Dr. Antell to get my eyes done. Again, the experience was wonderful and the outcome was wonderful as well. If you want plastic surgery with a natural outcome, I highly recommend Dr. Antell.
We were so impressed with the whole process. The staff were really friendly snd helpful, fully explained the process from filling forms and the insurance side. They offered doing s virtual consult for the first appointment and requested we sent in close up photos of the area to be treated. I really wasn’t sure how that would work for a removal procedure. I was very surprised how thorough it was the Dr and his assistant, who is wonderful, had obviously looked at the photos before hand and explained what could be done and the likely outcome come. After this we had a call with the office to clarify costs etc, it was all very clear and we didn’t feel anything was not disclosed. There was an in person appointment before the procedure to confirm everything and discuss any possible scaring so that we were very clear this could be a result. Day of surgery everything went to plan, the after care was explained clearly plus follow up visits and frequency.The results have been incredible, almost no scaring on the face, you really have to look and know what your looking for to see anything, if at all.We highly recommend Dr Antell and would be extremely comfortable to go back for any further treatment/procedure. The office is very discreet, we never saw anyone other client whilst there, clients are moved between treatment room snd waiting room with discretion.
I have been going to Dr. Antell to have several suspicious moles removed, and most recently a few Lipomas. Living in Central- New Jersey I could easily go to a local Dermatologist; however, I choose to have the perfection of a Plastic Surgeon, and that’s Dr. Antell !!He has the best bedside manner, and the staff is amazing. I feel taken care of when I go there for my visits. The list of procedures doesn’t just stop at removing moles and lipomas. I had the opportunity to view his website and I was very impressed with the many procedures he does.Having said that, I wont hesitate to refer him to any family member or friends. I really enjoyed my experience at Dr. Antells office! His support team was professional, friendly, and made sure I was taken care of throughout my appointment to remove a growth on my ear. Dr. Antell walked me through his plan for treatment and answered all of my questions regarding safety and what to expect in terms of recovery.I was dreading this procedure, yet Dr. Antells bedside manner made me feel confident that I made the right choice in moving forward with surgery. His surgical expertise was clear as he prepped for the procedure and dove right into it! I felt no pain during recovery and had no additional bleeding. His office has been wonderful in following up and answering any questions about aftercare. Im healing up wonderfully and it looks like there wont be any scarring or noticeable blemishes at the site of the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Antell without ANY reservations!

Dr Antell and his staff are very polite and friendly. His office is meticulously clean and comfortable. I recently seen him for a lipoma on my face. He is a highly skilled and talented surgeon that made the procedure stress free and with a minimal scar that is continuing to fade every day . I absolutely made the right choice choosing Dr Antell
I recommend this practice very highly. Dr. Antell is an exceptional surgeon. He achieved what many other plastic surgeons claimed was not possible with my umbilical hernia repair. He spends a lot of time with you and is professional and personable. You will not be disappointed with this practice. Also, his office staff is beyond helpful and kind. Being that I run my own practice, I can tell you all the boxes got checked off with my high expectations in another doctor and practice.
Where do I begin.. Our family has been fortunate to have used Dr. Antells plastic surgery expertise on three separate occasions.My son (when eight years old) had shattered his nose with a terrible fall down the stairs. His nose needed to be rebuilt and recontoured immediately. Not only did Dr. Antell make himself available in what was an emergency timeframe, but he was fabulous in calming my son and performing what resulted in an amazing result.The second occasion that Dr. Antells expertise was required occurred when I had been diagnosed with skin cancer (melanoma). After the surgical removal of the cancer by my dermatologist, I chose to have Dr. Antell remove further borders and perform plastic surgery to improve the healing and aesthetics of the wound. While completely rudimentary for someone of Dr. Antells expertise and training, it was a great outcome. His calm demeanor helped ease what was a very alarming diagnosis for me.Finally my wife made the decision to have her eyelids done coupled with a mini face lift. Dr. Antells expertise became evident once all was healed post surgery. The result could not have looked more natural and overall my wife was thrilled. She looks naturally younger and refreshed. I have had three surgeries with Dr Antell. I have been a patient for over 20 years.Dr Antell is an extremely skilled surgeon. Any work he does looks very natural. He is a very good listener and provides honest feedback never pushing procedures. He fully understands what your expectations are and the results are pure perfection. He might be slightly more expensive than other surgeons, but its worth it, can not get same results anywhere else.If you on the fence about making a decision dont wait whether or not to have surgery, go for it. Dr Antell is simply the best plastic surgeon out there. I had a chin augmentation two days ago and the results are outstanding very little bruising. I look like myself but much more improved. The nurse Michelle took very good care of me, I was worried on the day of surgery but she rested all of my fears and told me everything would be fine. The anesthesiologist was friendly and amazing couldnt of asked for a better one. If you are looking for facial cosmetic surgery or any cosmetic surgery, Dr Antell is simply the best and I highly suggest you see him!
Let me just say upfront that Dr. Antell is truly a master of his craft. I first saw Dr. Antell for a consultation on either a chin implant or chin filler, which I believe was Juvederm filler. Dr. Antell couldnt have been more helpful or considerate, or honest I might add. My recollection is that he felt the implant was the best option for me specifically, but that I would still get a good result with the filler, and that some people considered the filler a try-out for a possible implant. I went with the filler to see how it would look, and it did look great. After a few weeks, a decided that the implant would provide event better results, to which Dr. Antell agreed, so we dissolved the filler and scheduled surgery for a couple of weeks later. Before the surgery, Dr. Antell and his team, including Nancy, gave me tremendous feedback on what results we could achieve. The surgery itself could not have been smoother, and both the anesthesiologist and Nancy did an amazing job getting me ready. Of course, the results are what matter, and the chin implant looked about as perfect as you could imagine. To anyone who is considering having this procedure, I would say it is a total no-brainer, but that I would want an expert such as Dr. Antell to perform it.

Dr. Antell is absolutely amazing. He is so kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. His talent as a surgeon is unparalleled, but unlike other talented docs in NYC, it’s not about ego for him - it’s just about making sure his patients are 100% happy. I needed revision surgery, and in the 48 hours leading up to the procedure, I got separate calls from Dr. Antell, his absolutely amazing RN Emerald, and the wonderful anesthesiologist just to check in and make sure I was prepared and didn’t have any concerns. They all made me feel safe and really calmed my nerves. The follow up post-procedure was equally impressive. I received daily calls from my RN just checking in and quick answers from Dr. Antell regarding any questions i had about postoperative care.
I have helped speed the recovery for hundreds of Dr Antell’s patients over the last 10 years. I’ve personally seen his superperb work. His attention to details is most impressive....and is evident in his results. During my five years at the practice, I saw hundreds of satisfied patients. I went to dr antell for a lipoma on my forehead. I had it removed before by a different plastic surgeon and it came right back! Dr antell and his staff was such a pleasure to deal with. Dr Antell is one of the few plastic surgeons who truly cares about his patients happiness while maintaining ethical integrity. When I first came to him for my breast augmentation consult, as a petite A cup, I was eager to have the biggest breasts possible. But because of my small frame, Dr. Antell advised me to go for something bettered suited, giving me a very natural look. His opinion was greatly appreciated and I couldnt be more happier with my results. Not only does he have incredible bedside manner and so easy to talk to, but he has the best staff. Everyone is professional and courteous and easily accessible for any questions or concerns. Prior to my surgery, I addressed certain issues that were worrisome, due to my predisposition for capsular contracture. Dr Antell reassured me and quickly provided me with different studies about preventative measures pre and post-op. Of course, I followed his advice to the T and his nurse guided me every step of the way. All in all, I highly recommend Dr Antell for any cosmetic procedure.

Do not get a rhinoplasty/ septoplasty here. Im years post op and my breathing has only gotten worse, and my nose doesnt even look good! Ive had to go to an ENT who told me the surgery was done poorly, and I now need another one to correct what Dr. Antell messed up. My nose also doesnt look good, but I dont even care anymore because I cant breathe! He may be good at other procedures, but do not make the mistake I did- Please dont schedule rhinoplasty/ septoplasty with him

I saw Dr. Antell due to suffering a badly fractured nose as a result of an accident. I had my rhinoplasty almost 3 weeks ago and I couldnt be happier with the results. My earlobes became stretched after my two young children grabbed one too many times at shiny earrings. One morning while putting on a scarf, one of my earlobes tore through (and the other was so stretched, it was only a matter of time). Dr. Antell was able to see me same-day and my earlobe repair appointment was probably under an hour, all said. His team was reassuring and professional. He walked me through the procedure before, gave detailed after care instructions and numbed my ears so I wouldnt be in pain. We then went to his onsite outpatient surgery suite. Of course I appreciated appreciated the clinical expertise throughout, and as a bonus, his kind, conversational demeanor during the procedure helped ease my anxiety and made the time fly. About 10 days later, I came back to have my stitches removed and Im healing well. I highly recommend Dr. Antell and his team. And as I now joke, even though I wasnt expecting to need this, I now have Park Avenue earlobes!
I spent over three months researching cosmetic surgeons, which eventually whittled down to five, which I met in person. Dr. Antell was the only doctor who did not take the pushy, car salesman approach. He listened intently, answered all of my questions, and provided me with a sense of calm amid a nerve racking decision. As a 71 year old woman, I´ve had many experiences with doctors. Sometimes I´m the patient and sometimes I´ve accompanied a loved one. Practically all of my experiences have been positive, but none were better than those with plastic surgeon Darrick Antell.I trust Dr. Antell because he´s had decades of valuable experience, he practices in the New York City hub of learning, and he´s a trained dentist. Also clear to me is Dr. Antellś artistic skill; this is a crucial component of what makes him special. Many people can be medically educated, but I see the aesthetic of a sculptor in Dr. Antell´s hands.
Dr. Antell removed an upper back limpoma for me in July 2018. He did it on the very first visit...a complete and100% successful surgery. He then followed up with me with four in-office visits, to ensure that everything went well. There was NO post-op discomfort, no complications, and the incision is now nearly invisible. What more could I ask for? Oh yes, Dr. Antellis an absolute gentleman.
As a physician with facial wrinkles I am extremely satisfied with the results of Botox injections performed one year ago by Darrick Antell, M.D. I requested Dr. Antell to reduce wrinkles below both of my lower eyelids which extended onto both cheeks. I wanted a natural look so I asked him to reduce each of these wrinkles by just 50%. He agreed to do this although he stated that he could reduce them further if I wished it. He did exactly what I had asked for and the results are still perfect today, one year later.
The staff were very welcoming and informative along with Dr.Antell himself. I had gone in for a breast implant explant procedure and was a bit nervous because I’ve felt rushed before with a different plastic surgeon. Over time my breasts had changed and grown larger so the implants no longer fit my frame. The procedure was done under local anesthesia. It was pretty quick and fairly painless (the needle pokes to numb the area stung a bit but totally bearable). Overall experience was great and during the initial consultation they showed me many reference photos for me to look at to have a decent idea of what to expect. I don’t like writing reviews but wanted to this time to alleviate some doubts or nervousness for others seeking some answers (reading online I was scared my chest would turn to pancakes which wasn’t the case). Hope this review helps! They are patient, not pushy, and give you realistic expectations. Aftercare is great too :)
One of the best surgeons I have ever met. Incredible bed side manor and helped remove a mole of my face that I have been insecure about since I was a kid. His team was always available whenever needed post opp and I can’t wait for more services by him.

It’s been roughly about 5 years since my surgery with Dr. Antell and I’m just doing this review just because... He’s the absolute best! I’ve had several surgeries for keloid removal by several different doctors before I met with Dr.Antell. The Doctor and Staff were so professional. The doctor made sure he explained everything to the T before the procedure. He made me feel very comfortable and we even shared a few stories. Our 18 year old daughter just recently had a rhinoplasty by Dr. Antell who came highly recommended by our close friend whose daughter also had the same surgery. I discovered Dr Antell through a television interview so I admit to being somewhat intimidated at the prospect of meeting this renowned surgeon. I needn’t have fretted as patients are swathed in a caring cocoon spun by everyone inside this practice. The office is immaculate while the professional staff inspires confidence shaped by impeccable training. I put my trust in Dr Antell’s judgement in deciding on facelift and eyelift procedures as I allowed myself to embrace the comfort that was being offered to me. In all honesty my recovery never required prescription pain relief. Fifteen years have passed since my procedures and people still marvel that I am in my 70’s.
6 Month Follow-up today for my Buccal Fat Removal. Amazing results and so happy that I decided to do this with Dr. Antell. I commented to the Doctor this morning that he had also done a chin implant for me almost 19 years ago. That was one of the best decisions and have never had a problem in all these years...only a feeling of more self-confidence. Dr. Antell is incredible and his entire staff is amazing.

I feel compelled to write this review as I am planning on returning to Dr. Antell for a cosmetic procedure this year as a Mothers day gift. I had a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation done by him in 2009. 6 years later, I have to commend his work-I have never looked better! The micro-swelling of the rhinoplasty finally went down( normal)) and it looks absolutely beautiful. I was able to breast-feed without any problem as his placement of my scars( tiny too) did not sever any nerves or milk ducts. If any young women- (pre- pregnancy) are considering a breast augmentation- look no further than Dr. Antell. The fact that I can say 6 years later not only do my breasts still look great and symmetrical , but I have had zero complications just speaks volumes as to the skill and artistry Dr.Antell has. I recommend him to anyone who discusses plastic surgery,however most people just think I look great and cannot tell I have had anything done! I went a bit larger than some (400cc), and they look and feel so natural my husband and I still dont know how it was possible!!! I am also a medical professional and am highly critical. I am even more pleased with my results 6 years later. He is reasonably priced - but worth EVERY penny. :)

I have waited a few years to write a review of Dr. Antell and the procedure I received (Lower Body Lift). While Dr. Antell and his staff were cordial and timely, I felt the post-operative care was lacking. At the time, I had come to Dr. Antell after losing over 100 pounds during my first year of college. This had left me with saggy skin around my abdomen, buttocks, and thighs, as well as a bit of skin around my breast area. I had wavered between getting an abdominoplasty and a lower body lift. In the second procedure, a cut is made around the entire lower half of the waist (Bikini line) and skin is removed from both the upper and lower body. The procedure went seamlessly, but I was not allowed to do any strenuous activity for the recommended two months. The procedure left me with a scar that Dr. Antell assured me would decrease in size. A few years later, the scar remains and has become bigger in a few areas (i.e. keloided). While keloids are a risk to which some people are prone, I felt he could have offered more specific advise on how to prevent or treat them rather than rub soap on the scar daily.I was also concerned with the appearance of my love handles, fat in my pubic area just below the scar, and the appearance of new stretchmarks on my back. When I approached him, he claimed the bulges in the pubic area and back are inflammation. Years later, they are still there. The stretch marks he said were there already and pointed to a tuft of back hair in a black and white picture of my back before the procedure. While he certainly removed a significant amount of skin (~3 ft), I felt he did not do enough to address the concerns of fat deposits on my skin. I have continued to work out and work hard and removing the appearance of fat in those areas to no avail. In addition, the skin around my thighs is still significantly loose. I am actually looking into correcting or addressing the issues I had after the surgery with Dr. Antell. I give him an average rating because the appearance of my skin was improved but it was far from being good. I felt excuses were made rather than addressing issues at hands. I paid over $20,000 for the procedure. I would expect a bit more of a result. I was not asking for a miracle but I am asking for something that is worth the hard work I put into my body.P.S. As a word of advise, ask the doctor when she or he last did the specific procedure you are requesting. While a plastic surgeon may be good in one area, she or he may not be good in another. In hindsight, I felt he may have been a bit rusty in the procedure I requested.
I had my procedure done one month ago and I have been getting nothing but compliments. “ you look so young and fresh” No one can tell. Pain was minimal. Did not need opioid. Just extra strength. Back to work just loving the compliments. Natural look just younger and fresher. Procedure was worth every cent!

Dr. Antell performed a chin implant on me in December of 2000. I had always been a bit uncomfortable with my look and Dr. Antell had been referred to me by my physician cousin. It’s now been 18 years and I could not be happier. He achieved just what I was looking for. The procedure was a breeze and I remember hosting and cooking Christmas dinner for 20 5 days after surgery. Dr. Antell and his entire staff are marvelous…caring and kind and have the ability to make a patient feel so comfortable. As a testament to Dr. Antell’s skills, I was just back for another procedure last week!

2022-08-16Dr. Antell is very knowledgeable and understanding. Immediately knew what I wanted to do with little information needed from me. Was able to give me plenty of information about the surgery along with an accurate quote all from our first Zoom meeting. Did I mention this was one of the few places that is keeping up with the times? Zoom consultations should be a standard in 2022! All of my questions have been answered and 1 month post surgery, the healing process has begun and looks to be going great.

2022-05-22Dr Antell gave me life changing procedures. The confidence I now have makes me feel like... the real me.I came in for consultation having a good idea of what procedures I might need (I wanted to enhance my chin while reducing the volume of my cheeks), but it was Dr Antells assessment that helped me finalize on the surgical plan (sliding genioplasty + buccal fat removal). I had consulted with another doctor before who had proposed more aggressive plans, but I was immediately swayed towards Dr Antell because of his superior expertise (known for his chin surgeries since decades ago), which was apparent from the way he analyzed my case to me.It also helped that he mentioned he could help me achieve 99% satisfaction when the other doctor was afraid to promise more than 50%. It was a lie though… because I got 300%!My recovery was not pain free, but it was unbelievable how minimal the surgerys damage was. I was expecting chipmunk cheeks and oversized chin from the reviews I read elsewhere, but no. My cheeks barely swole. There was practically 0 bruising or nerve damages (only some numbness). Considering I had bones in my face cut and moved, it was amazing how my face pretty much looked normal on day 8. I think this is all thanks to Dr Antells precise surgical skills.Also shout out to Nancy - the best nurse ever! I cannot appreciate enough how kind and caring she was when I came out of the surgery (I acted like a giant whiny baby). Everyone else at the office was all so sweet and polite as well. That really mattered when I was feeling insecure and in pain.My face still looks subtly different everyday from continued recovery. I love my new look more and more day by day. I am so grateful to have met a doctor who gave me the correct assessment/surgical plan and executed it absolutely perfectly. I had doubts about buccal fat removal before because of the stories I heard about peoples cheeks ended up too hollow/tired looking, but now that I am on the other side of the fence, I can see how it was the exact change I needed (and again, I am still blown away how Dr Antell so precisely took out the right amount of fat pads from each of my asymmetrical cheeks). Dr Antell has both the artistic sense and surgical skills it requires to create aesthetic looks. People who know about my surgery commented that I look significantly better, but in an inconspicuous way (meaning, they would not have guessed I got plastic surgery).I knew I needed this change, but I did not expect it to turn out so well! I now have the dream face that I thought I could only get in my next life - from squared shaped, recessed chin and chubby cheeks to oval shaped and well proportioned... If only I had gotten this 10 years ago, I wouldve loved myself, and enjoyed life more, for 10 more years...
