Mike from Dashing Dan’s made 2 trips to my mother’s house in less than a week for drains and leaks that needed repair. The service was responsive, and Mike arrived as scheduled. He was very professional, and completed the jobs in a timely fashion.
I payed $600 for them to replace my boiler pressure relief value and expansion tank because my boiler was leaking water. The plumber told me that if the boiler continued to leak after installation then I would need to replace my hot water heater for $2,000. The boiler continued to leak so I contacted another plumbing company to get a second opinion. In doing so, I was told that pressure relief value was damaged during installation from Dashing Dans plumbing service. They replace the value again and my boiler stop leaking. In addition, when I mentioned Dashing Dans suggestion of replacing the hot water heater to correct the leak , the plumber just laughed. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

First time using Dashing Dans.. they came to open my two AC units. My service technician was a great representative for the company.Everything went fine and the air conditioning was perfect. After about 2 weeks we discovered water on the floor which was coming from the pan. I called Dashing Dan to report what was happening, they came the next day at 8:00 a.m. and repaired some of the PVC drains. Did not charge me a service call. Just for the repair which was very reasonable.I have used 2 other companies since moving into this house and I find that Dashing Dans employees have a great knowledge of Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.If you are ever in need of a great company to handle your Heating, Cooling and Plumbing try DashingDans, you be glad you did.
I found Dashing Dans through Angis list and I cannot say enough about how pleased I was! They were efficient, competent, and highly proffesional and my oil burner is running perfectally. They were also very fair in their pricing! I will never use anyone else! We need more service people who care about their business and the people they serve!
Dans Plumbing is the best! Their prices are very competitive, the service is always done quickly and very professionally, and the quality of work is top-notch. When I needed warranty service, a tech arrived within an hour or two of my call. A replacement part was needed from the water neater OEM. I called Dans when the shipment arrived, and the tech was back to my house within minutes to install the replacement part. Their level of service amazing and couldnt have done any faster. I highly recommend DAs Plumbing!
I was very happy with the service, the tech that came Darren was extremely helpful. He explained in detail everything he was doing and was very clean. Need more than 5 stars for this company. When the company that has been servicing my house for 20 years told me it would be 9 days before they could install a new hot water heater when I specifically said I have no hot water at all I went to Google to find a new contractor. I found dashing Dans and I couldnt be happier. On the same day my ex company told me it would be 9 days before they could replace it, Matt from dashing Dans came to my house, gave me an estimate, and they were here the next day installing a new hot water heater. Fred and Mike were professional, fast, and really nice guys to boot. I have already had them back for two other jobs and will continue to use them. Their prices are reasonable, their service is fast, and they took great care in protecting my floors and leaving my house clean. Thanks to Matt, Fred, Mike and Anthony, you guys rock!
I have been using Dashing Dans for about 8 years for all of my plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. Darren, my service technician, is outstanding. Darren is extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, meticulous, and thorough. Dashing Dans is very fortunate to have him working with them.
I have used Dashing Dans now a few times and most recently, to correct a major water issue with the downstairs heating system. These guys are great. Not only are they on-time & punctual, but they explained the entire situation to me and offered a few affordable options to correct. This after a few visits and of course, digging into the concrete to assess the problem. After correcting the problem, they left my house in great shape too. Couldnt be more pleased. I believe their pricing is fair and the follow up/commitment post-effort was above reproach. I went ahead and purchased a contract with them to service the boiler and cooling systems.I would highly suggest using them for HVAC needs in your home. Darren is awesome! AC air handler stopped working. Dashing Dans was helpful over phone, sent someone immediately and went through my option to fix or replace. Showed up on time for install, clean, friendly, would definitely recommend them.
Called Dashing Dans on a Tuesday to set up our yearly cooling plan which is very affordable. They were over by Friday morning. Darren, our tech, was super kind and was very professional and polite. He went through all the needed procedures and made all adjustments needed in a timely manner. Would recommend to all my neighbors.
This was my first experience with Dans and I was happily surprised. Fredrick and his helper showed up actually a few hours before scheduled and after explaining the problem I was having with two of my toilets, Fredrick took a look and immediately found the problem. He explained the fix for the problem and the cost. Fredrick seemed to have a great deal of knowledge and after agreeing to the estimate, completed the work in a quick manner. Both men were extremely polite and friendly and respectful of my home. It has been about a week since the job was completed and we are extremely happy with the result. I would recommend Dans to anyone looking for a professional plumber. The price was not cheap, but is in range with other companies in the area.
After calling 2 plumbers and not getting a call back, I looked on Angie’s List and found Dashing Dan’s. A human actually answered the phone!!Appointment set-up was easy. The same day they sent a plumber to check out the situation. I needed old fixtures removed, new ones installed, and some tile work. The plumber they sent, Anthony D, was a good guy. He went through fixture options with me and costs. We settled on one. I gave a deposit to order the parts and he came 2 days later to install it.The quality of the work was excellent. Clean-up was much better than expected. Costs were fair.I definitely trust Dashing Dan’s now. I 100% will call them again when I need more work done.

It has been a hectic few months of getting everything I need through the town and national grid for a meter upgrade for a pool heater in our new home. Matt, Anthony, and everyone else I have had the pleasure to become acquainted with have been extremely helpful through it all. I have recommended them to every homeowner in my social circle; and have purchased the warranty for peace of mind.As honest as they come.
We Do NOT Recommend this company. They were hired to install a new HVAC Unit and a Mini Split.The system was installed improperly causing a leak throughout the attic, through our ceiling and high-hat. Also, the design didn’t satisfy the needs for our home causing the system to not work properly. Dashing Dans was here for a month and unable to fix the issues. We hired another HVAC company who had to undo their short cuts, add ducts, and remove the initial return and place elsewhere as they “pinched” the area to try to make it work. Our ceiling is still not fixed. Also, the electrical work they completed was done wrong. The Suffolk county inspectors union was here and their electrical work for the units FAILED the inspection. We had to hire an electrician to undo the faulty electrical work and redo. Again, another cost for the inspection and electrician. Fast forward less than 1 year and the mini split is not working. Found out their is an issue with the install (as per Rheem the manufacturer.) Contacted Matt the owners son and he advised they are not honoring their warranty because we fired them. Yes, we did because they are incompetent and We had to hire another HVACcompany to fix and complete the job.STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
I have had a contract with Dashing Dans for two years now and called them everytime I had an emergency..The first time I had no heat, they came within the hour. They are very thorough turns out I needed a new thermostat.The second time I had water coming up from my shower drain when I was doing my wash. Chris is excellent calls you when they will arrive and if they are running late.They came after 9pm that night and were here til after 11pm. I asked if they could come back tomorrow morning. They were at my house the next morning after 8am and left at 12:30pm. Im very pleased with their service and all the workers they explain what they are doing and are very thorough.I will be renewing my contact with them again this year. You will not be disappointed with Dashing Dans.
I had a great experience with Dashing Dans. My heat stopped working a month ago and they were out that day to take a look. When it was determined that I needed a new part for my burner, and they came back to replace it, the part ordered was used and not in great condition. The team still helped me avoid a freezing house by providing a temporary fix and the moment the new part came in and the snow storm subsided, they were out to finish the job.
2018: Dashing Dan promptly replied to an inquiry I made with Home Advisors about 10 months ago. I was looking for plumbing repair, and thought an estimate Id received was way too high. Dashing Dan provided a very reasonable quote, and did an excellent job with the repair work. As a result I had them also update bathroom fixtures and took a contract with them for heating and a/c service. Over the past months, they have done kitchen plumbing work, as well as maintenance on my heating and a/c. I have referred them to other friends in the community who also have been satisfied and took out maintenance contracts. They are reliable, on-time, neat, and cost efficient. Every engineer has been polite and a pleasure to deal with. This company is a winner!2021: UPDATE: This companys service has been consistently excellent over the 3 years I have been using them. No hesitation to recommend!
When you have to spend big money on your home, what are the only two things you want to know? How much? And when can you be here? DD’s communication was great on the phone, text, email and in person with the tech. They went the extra mile to clean up the AC lines and wrap them to protect against salt damage. It was overall, really what a professional installation should look and feel like. Well done.
It is so rare to find a company that is attentive, responds to your needs, polite, and knowledgeable with regard to the particular issue at hand. Dashing Dans is exceptional in all facets. My hot water heater was having a variety of issues, and I was dealing with another company who could care less I had no hot water, ordered parts I didnt need and misdiagnosed the issue. Dans service, communication and responsiveness were an example of how a company should operate. After my Hot Water tank crapped out I called Dashing Dan’s and they sent a technician the same day and checked it out. After he reported his findings to the main office Matt called me and discussed what needed to be done. Thought the price was very fair and job was completed next day. I cannot write enough good things about this business. But for starters, I have always gotten their Technician Thomas, he is professional and literally went above and beyond by checking my entire burner and tank. He took the time to show me some things I never knew about my oil tank and thoroughly explained everything he did and why he was doing it. The Management team and everyone I spoke to kept me as a priority when my burner was going in and out the night before and sent out a tech FIRST THING the next morning. Amazing service and absolutely recommend the monthly plan with dashing dan. 10/10.
I’ve owned my house for 19 years and have always struggled with finding a solid, reliable plumber. I had one guy who wouldn’t call back unless I left at least three messages, which used to drive me nuts, but every time I call Dashing Dan, they pick up. I recently needed a shower body replaced, because it was old and had started leaking. Replacing a shower body and preserving the existing tile is no easy task, but Dashing Dan’s mechanic was top notch, and the job was done flawlessly. They also pride themselves in communicating with their clients and I’m always kept in the loop via phone, txt and email. I’m very satisfied with all aspects of the jobs they’ve done for me and HIGHLY recommend them.
Dashing Dans was great! After getting out of the contract with the original contractor and his plumber (had to go through Consumer Affairs for help with this), I was able to hire Dashing Dans to complete the job (and correct a number of mistakes of the first plumber). I interviewed a number of plumbers, and went with Dashing Dans after getting what I felt was a reasonable proposal from their company founder Anthony Pellati, with a followup visit /proposal assessment from their project manager, Carmine. Two notable features of their proposal was (1) that they offered a Synchrony Bank, 18-month, no-interest Payment Plan, and (2) that they were able to include in their proposal a reasonable price for a separate company to hook up our Waste and Water lines to the street. The 2 main plumbers who worked many days and hours on our house, were Riley and Chris. These 2 guys were great. They were extremely competent, as demonstrated by the fact that we passed the very thorough final Town of Hempstead plumbing inspection with flying colors. They were also extremely nice gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Carmine was also very helpful in emailing us varieties of brands and styles of bathroom plumbing fixtures, as well as being the point person to contact for any concerns. Once the final plumbing inspection was done, there were a few tweaks that needed to be corrected in the wall hung combo boiler they installed. Their boiler service guys, Brian and Tom, were also very competent and nice gentleman. The guy(s) who answer the phone when you call into the office were also very competent and easy to work with. Matt was the main office person, and I believe, Chris, was a second person in the office as well. I would definitely recommend using Dashing Dans on any plumbing / boiler related project!Description of work:Completing a huge plumbing job that another plumber abandoned in the middle of the job, quitting the job half way due to the original contractor not paying him. Dashing Dan’s also installed our wall hung combo boiler. This was a Hurricane Sandy home elevation job.

Great service. No heat out of my HTP gas heating system. Called Dashing Dan. Had a technician to the house the next day. Diagnosed the problem and provide an estimate the next day. New part needed to be ordered. I was able to schedule the repair work the next day after receipt of part. Excellent service on the phone and by email. Phil and Matt were great!
We called Dashing Dans to repair a leaky shower after our original contractor fell through. The plumber told us that they do bathroom renovations and installs and after speaking with Anthony the owner we hired them to do both of our bathrooms completely over. Anthony knew we were in a jam and was able to fit us into the schedule. They pulled all the right specialists together from tile work, plumbing and carpentry and put together two amazing bathrooms! They look awesome and work flawlessly! We really appreciate the quality craftsmanship and commitment to getting it done correctly. Would highly recommend them!
Dashing Dans has always been reliable, honest, and a pleasure to do business with. My husband and I worked with Anthony, the owner, on converting from oil to gas. It was worth the investment. Thank you for securing proper tub replacements, not just cheap parts, but true replacement parts for Bain Ultra tub. I also want to thank Anthony and Vito they were very respectful concerning covid 19 concerns we had. They did a superb job cleaned up after themselves. I have two small dogs and they were very good with them too. Dashing Dans should be very happy with such a wonderful grew who helped me.
I went with Dashing Dans to replace my hot water heater. I’m glad I did as they were on time, friendly and did an excellent job with the install. They answered all my questions and made sure to clean the work area after they had finished. Highly recommend. Had an emergency need for a service call. The plumber arrived within the service window and while he did not have the parts necessary for the repair, he did give me instructions on how to deal with the problem until he could return. The repair was completed efficiently and at what I consider a fair price.
Ive been using Dashing Dans for about a year now. They helped re-do both my kitchen and guest bathroom, as well as replacing my waste-line on my main stack and a few other small jobs around my house. However, there was one particular day that they truly went above and beyond. Sunday morning, February 3rd 2019, I noticed that a baseboard heater pipe burst over night. The carpet was totally soaked in this 12 x 12 spare room. I shut off the heat to that zone, but freaked out because no one in their right mind would do an emergency service call on Super Bowl Sunday. I spoke to Matt at Dashing Dans and he told me not to worry, he will have someone out in two hours! Three hours after my call to Matt, the pipe was fixed! They are a very professional company with a professional staff. They are my go-to whenever I have plumbing or heating needs. Theyre worth every penny they charge.
I have used Dashing Dan’s Plumbing about three times so far. They are always quick to come and send you a text to let you know who would be coming to do the work, and the time they will be arriving. Their plumbers always let you know what the cost will be before they start the work and if you are a senior citizen you are given a 10% discount on your bill.I am considering having them take care of my oil burner service at this time. You can not go wrong using this company. Their staff is always polite and very good at explaining what they are about to do, so there is never any misunderstanding.
I had multiple plumbing and heating related issues when I came to help my elderly mother with her house. I quickly learned that I needed to fire the person she had been using and found Dashing Dan with an internet search. The team at Dashing Dans has been extremely helpful and clearly showed that they really know what they are doing. In passing, I heard they go to continuing education courses to keep up with the latest technologies. Like everything else, plumbing and especially heating has become high-tech. While I can not say they were cheep, I dont know any plumbers who are. I think their prices were in keeping with industry standards. I highly recommend this team.
Last Wednesday nigh my Hot Water heater was making noise and dripping water ..... it freaked me out because the Heater if on a platform in a hard to reach location . i Called Dashing Dans plumbing and Phil came right over . I expressed my concerns and he assured me they have seen and done it all and not to worry . About an hour later he called me and gave me a very reasonable price quote and honestly i thought it would be hundreths more ..... I gave the OK and right on time Friday morning the guys Tommy and Anthony showed up ..... they looked the job over and assured me they could handle it . They put down drop cloths to protect my floor and within 4 hours my new hot water heater was installed and working great . I really thought it would be an all day job but their professional experience got the job done quick and properly done ..... its why they are my go to guys . Excellent plumbing and heating company!Our old oil burner company had broken our oil burner and made us pay for a new one and we were furious, they even left cleaning tools and debris in the pipes and we almost had a fire! When we called to have them look they found nothing wrong. We called dashing dans for an emergency appointment for loud banging in our pipes and they had found the problem right away and fixed it removing the cleaning tools, plus cleaned it out at a fair price so it could run it’s best.We’ve also had them fix our old radiators and garden hose quickly and efficiently they find parts most other oil companies or plumbers couldn’t for us. We like how they schedule appointments quickly and we rarely have to wait to get service.Highly recommend this company!

I had a plumbing emergency in my bathroom one late night. I called Dashing in the middle of the night and they were very cordial and helpful in trying to solve my situation. They showed up first thing in the morning as I was able to get by for the night. There service was professional and and prompt. They showed up to my house as promised first thing in the morning and did the work for a very reasonable price. I would recommend Dashing to anyone who needs a plumbing job done and at a reasonable rate with prompt and courteous service.
Our A/C system unexpectedly broke in August. Dashing Dan contacted my husband regarding the size, etc. and was able to install the next day.... a new system and thermostat in ONE day! Their work is clean, efficient and professional. Simply the best!! For all your A/ C needs Dashing Dan is the man!
They responded quickly when my AC was down. While the other company took 6 days to provide an estimate, Dashing Dan’s provided a quote within 5 mins and started work the next morning. Prices were better that the first company. Workers were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Water heater died at 8PM on a Wednesday evening. Lived for thirteen years and never had trouble with it. I called Dashing Dans plumbing Thursday morning shortly after 8, explained the situation, gave my address and the person I spoke with told me he could have someone at my house within 15 minutes. Im less than a half mile from Dans office but I was surprised when Anthony arrived in under ten minutes. I showed him to the heater, explained it died, told him the age and I asked a series of questions. Anthony answered them all and called the office for those he didnt have an answer for. He also asked the office if there were any coupons or discounts still active that the office was using. He applied a $250 or $275 coupon to the order, dont remember offhand the exact amount but it was substantial. I paid a deposit and the signed the papers authorizing the work. The night before I did some research online about water heaters and read the reviews. Told him the make and capacity of heater Id like. He said hed be able to get it without any problems. By 1:30 in the afternoon he was finished, the new heater was installed and working properly. Throughout the installation process Anthony kept me apprised of the work and told me several times when hed have to turn the water off. Upon installation completion, Anthony showed me some tips on how to maintain and extend the life of the heater as well as emphasized I read the owners manual. He also explained the warranty. I paid the remainder of the bill and I was set! Anthony was professional, courteous, respectful and polite. Anthony and Dashing Dans office were easy to deal with as well as polite, courteous and professional. I have recommended them to one person already and will continue to recommend them. I will certainly use Dashing Dan again for all of my plumbing needs.
Dashing Dans was great. The plumber showed up during the allotted time. He was very thorough. I had black mold in the basement and was told that I could have a leak from a pipe. Although he did not find a plumbing issue he pointed out other possible issues which could have led to the water build up in my basement. He also informed me of the heating services that his company provides as well as annual plans. I was very happy with Dashing Dans and would highly recommend them.
Ive been using Dashing Dans the past 8 years, I lived in Bay Shore and used them and moved east and used them again! They installed a gas line for a grill and pool heater and took care of all the permits through the town, which in the end is worth it! Very professional and nice people too, its a family business which I personally like especially if the family is raised right! Would definitely recommend.

Late last month our upstairs central AC died. We had just started using Dashing Dan for our plumbing needs and requested a quote from them. Since their quote was competitive and we had been happy with their work we contracted with them to replace the ac unit. They arrived at 8 and finished the job at around 3. At 5, I realized the 2nd floor ac had stopped working. I called Dashing Dan and the tech returned by 7. The problem was that the existing drain pipe was clogged and the safety feature of the system shut off to prevent an overflow (flood). Matt, the tech, cleared the drain pipe, and voila the system was up and running by 8:30. We are now a Dashing Dan fan and will be using them for our future plumbing needs.
Ive been using Dans service over 7 years for my boiler repairs and maintenance, water heater replacement and miscellaneous plumbing around the house.We bought the Platinum rewards Membership a year ago and recently renewed for another year. It was worth the investment.
Anthony, Vito, and later on Michael did a great job, and trying and getting the issue resolved. From Anthony/Vito calling Matt in the office to set up for East Coast to come and take care of a bigger issue. Then after a long day, Michael came back to hook up all my pipes and complete the task. Greatly appreciated all being responsive to a big issue and get my kitchen sink back up and running.
Dashing Dans provides a professional team from beginning of job through to the end with their office team and field team. Workers were prompt, courteous and thorough in their cleanup. They made themselves available right away with our brand new AC units for our building. I would highly recommend and actually already have.
First, Dashing Dans office staff was on-the-ball when setting up the appointment. The crew arrived on-time, diagnosed the problem (slow drain in bathtub) and offered a couple of solutions. Pricing was reasonable and the work was of good quality. Id hire them again.
Got a same day quote and next day install of Central AC and Furnace. Price was fair and work was completed on time, on budget, and everything functions great. Wouldve appreciated it if they cut out the drywall in the ceiling next to a stud so I could easily repair it but an access panel sufficed. Their quotes arent always the easiest to read but if you request it to be rewritten so you can understand it better, they are more than willing to comply. Recommend and will use again.
I wish I had found Dashing Dans sooner! Was looking for a quote on a tankless hot water heater, knowing that we wanted to upgrade in the future. Saw their truck at my neighbors house so I figured Id give them a call. They came over within an hour and when we got into my basement, to my surprise, my old hot water heater had started leaking all over my basement floor! So what started out as a future plan suddenly became an immediate need! We had other quotes on tankless hot water heaters, but the reason we were still looking was because none of the companies seemed as knowledgeable about their product options or everything the whole process entailed. Matt and Chris are really honest and trustworthy. They are very responsive and reliable, they call when they say they are going to call! Customer service like that is very refreshing these days! My family and I needed permits for the basement of our home. To do so we needed some plumbing and heating updated. Anthony was fast to schedule an appointment and push for our permits. Steven was the plumber to do the work on our home and i have to say Dashing Dan was worth every penny! Stevens work is so clean and beautifully put together. Truly the work of a professional! John and Mike arrived on time I had the 3ft to 4ft pipe installed leading from the bathroom to the basement pipe was rotted lead .. original pipping I also bought a new toilet system so john installed the toilet system and mike took care of the pipe cutting and installing downstairs Clean , smart , courteous, and love dogs . would definitely recommend.

Our central air died this past Friday night, so I did a little research and called a few places first thing Saturday morning. Anthony at Dashing Dans was the only real live human to pick up the phone. He took the time to troubleshoot with me over the phone and then offered to send someone ASAP on Monday after I declined more immediate service (being that it wasnt really an emergency). I called the office Monday morning to confirm and Chris picked up on the first ring and told me to expect someone between 10-12. Matt showed up at 11:00; he was professional, courteous and unfazed by the crazy dog and the Death Valley temperature in the attic. He promptly diagnosed the issue, located the part, and within an hour was back working on replacing the blower motor. Even with Matt having to run out a second time to get an additional tool, the job was done quickly and efficiently. Total onsite work time was around two hours and the CAC is working better than ever. I highly recommend these guys, not just for the work, but for the superior customer service. Had a leak develop in some old lead drain pipe joint buried up in the ground floor closet. Tight working quarters for sure. Called Dashing Dans on recommendation from our neighbor and they scheduled us next morning. Job was a little pricier than I expected, but not out of sight. Job was completed, well done and cleaned up. Took a little longer than they expected, but still very acceptable timing. I would call again for any future work without hesitation.
My hot water heater broke last night and was beginning to flood my laundry room and they were here within 30 minutes of my call. They installed my new hot water the first thing next am. Explained everything. Extremely professional, very pleasant to deal with and were exceptionally neat and did a great job. Highly recommend them!!
The technicians they sent to my home were polite, neat and honest. I had an issue with my toilet being clogged with a piece of plastic that was accidentally flushed and they installed a new toilet I had purchased. While there they also installed a new kitchen sink faucet I had purchased for half the cost of a repeat visit. Some reviews complain about its expensive, theyre ripping me off, etc. They run a business, they need to make money. Its on you the home owner to ask the right questions before scheduling a visit or requesting an emergency repair. Were they expensive? Yes. But they were as expensive as the next guy I had a quote from so.....
Called this company at 8 am by 11am someone was at the house. I cant remember the ac guys name that came but he was personable. Got right to work, and explained what was going on. He recharged my brand new mini split (self installed) so that it blew cold.My only gripe with the company and the reason I deducted one star was they hit you for a fee to come put. Reasonable BUT other companies I spoke with said they waive the fee if you get the work done. Meaning my bill would of been about $100 cheaper if they waived the diagnostic fee like the other companies do.That being said. He gave me a discount. And they seem were upfront about their fees and I had them coming because they would be the quickest to get to me. If I was in a jam I would use them again but I think they need to rethink their diagnostic fee if you hire them
I have waited a week + to write this review, just to be certain I would be on target with my opinions. And I am happy to give this POSITIVE review. We lost out hot water on a Sunday evening. Wasnt sure Id be able to get anyone next day, Dashing Dan scheduled us for the next am. Our technician, Lance, arrived on time and was very helpful. It is an on demand, tankless water heater brand which he had worked with before, but not this model. Lance was on the phone with the manufacturer, received schematics from them and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I was able to listen to the conversation between Lance and the manufacturer regarding warranty coverage. The parts were covered, and shipped over night. Dashing Dans called me as soon as they came in, and I left work to meet them. Lance worked for 5 hours, but was not able to get the system operating correctly due to an electrical issue. But he was on top of everything, and was working hard to rectify the issue before calling it quits for the day. He returned the next day and was able to assess and fix the issue within an hour after spending time at home viewing youtube videos, and info from the manufacturers website. He definitely went above and beyond what you would normally expect. I was VERY happy with the whole experience. Being without hot water is not easy, but Lance and Dashing Dans did all that could be done in the shortest time possible. I will definitely call again, and am signed up for a service agreement with them as well. Thanks Lance and Dashing Dans !
I had some problems with my central air in the house I bought. They came on time and did an excellent job. I am happy with the job they did so much so that I signed the annual maintenance contract with them. All the staff were very nice and professional people. We lost heat in the office( doctors) yesterday, one of the coldest days. Called Dashing Dan, they sent over a technician who examined the gas furnace and told me I needed several parts replaced, gave me an estimate of $2,500 ( apparently a discounted price). I agreed to have it done, did tell the technician that I was not expecting such a hefty estimate, did not have a check on me. Upon completion of the job, I asked the tech to call his boss ( Anthony) to see if I could bring in the check the next morning or mail it in as soon as I got home.I was appalled and totally taken aback at his response. The tech said the boss freaked out and said that if I did not pay right away he would take away all the parts installed and leave me without heat.Only a person with NO moral conscience would threaten to leave a doctors office with sick patients with out any heat! I was not running away w/o paying for services, just asked if I could bring in the check the next morning. Have already paid for a year of maintenance, would definitely NOT renew or recommend this business.
I called for emergency service late on a Sunday night. We had a flood water all over. My call was answered promptly and a technician was dispatched. Then I was given a cell phone # to call and was able to FaceTime with someone who immediately helped me shut down the system. Amazing. The technician stayed until he could temporarily restore the heat and then came back first thing in the morning. So satisfied, Ive never had such service. I have a service contract with them as well. They are thorough, knowledgeable and leave everything spotless. Cant ask for more although they would try to provide it.

Discovered that a valve in a washing machine outlet box was leaking around its stem and dripping water behind the wall and down into the basement and (of course) onto the houses electrical equipment, creating a hazardous situation. It had already tripped the GFI on the outlet powering the phone and internet. Turned off the water at the main and drained the pipes to stop the flow...then called Dashing Dans. Set up a time for the next day. Lance came, quickly saw the problem, and replaced the valve with an identical valve that was in inventory on his truck. Problem solved. No leaks. Took my credit card right there and emailed me a formal paid invoice. Couldnt have been easier. Lance was polite, knowledgeable, and a good guy. He wore booties in the house at my request, and got the job done quickly and effectively. Price was fair for the expertise involved and for completing the work in a single trip.
Called Dashing Dans Plumbing, Heating &cooling on Monday to request a service call. They were here early Tuesday and fixed my A/C. They were on time, honest and efficient, would definitely refer them to my family and friends.

Did a good job installing the boiler 2 years ago. Has done a good job maintaining boiler since. Was excellent this past week in helping us out with all of the problems that went on. Could not have been happier. Even when they have been so busy with people from all the flooding, they still squeezed me in and sent someone to resolve my problem.Problem was I had fixed it myself already and Anthony had said he would call me when he was sending someone over. Anthony however, did not charge me for the house call. He did however, have someone follow up with me to see if I wanted my gas boiler cleaned the following day, as they had been able to do it back in November/December & January due to all the problems Mother Nature had been kind enough to throw our way lately. The young man who came to service the boiler, was a nice, polite young man, who did vacuum and clean my gas boiler efficiently and asked if I wanted to see the job when he was through. So I said sure. That is how I know it was done well. As for the problems today, Anthony was more than happy to advise me in trying to figure out what was wrong, so I would not have to shell out money. He was very right. Turned out we had to call National Grid. There was a big problem with our meter, which led to a gas build up in one of the pipes in the house. Anthony advised it all. He was willing to send a tech but said before he sends a tech and charges us, for me to read the numbers off the boiler first so I dont have to charge you. Well take it from there. After he heard the numbers, he said call National Grid, they have to handle this. National Grid came within an hour and we are all safe. Thanks Anthony. Great Job
Phil at Dashing Dans is our adopted family member. While installing our new HVAC he befriended our two cats, and when he returned in the winter to make sure our A/C properly switched to heat they all three remembered eww each other. Phil is prompt, friendly and thorough. Highly recommended!

I need it to replace my oil tank got several estimates to abandon my underground tank and install a new above ground tank . Dan’s plumbing had a very reasonable price . Great company! I found out my 14 year old hot water heater was leaking at 5:30pm on a Friday. Brian came the next day and said it was a manufacturer defect. He saw we had a one and a half year old and made sure we had a new hot water heater up and running by noon on Monday.
Used these guys for the plumbing aspect of my total gut of the bathroom. The guys were very professional and got the work done in a timely manner. They even came back to correct some issues with the hot water. Would absolutely recommend them.

Dashing Dan’s is a great family run business. They send reminders for our yearly free tune ups based on our contract and they actually show up on time when they say they will be there!! They are very responsive and dependable.
Be very Careful with this company. First, the owner is a licensed plumber, but the guys he sends to do the work are not. You pay top price for a licensed plumber and get a handyman to do the work. Second, The people in the office get very nasty when you question the outrageous fees they charge you! Lastly, My husband is a cop and he swears up and down that the guy they sent here was high on drugs.
After finding our kitchen pipes frozen, Dashing Dans put us on their very busy list of jobs, kept us up-to-date and showed up when they said they would. We needed extra parts which they promptly ordered and will install tomorrow.
We woke up at 3AM on the coldest day of the year to no running water. We tried to thaw the crawl space pipes ourselves to no avail. So at 9AM we called Dashing Dans after finding them on Google. They said someone would be by between 12 and 2. AJ arrived at 1PM. He was kind and hard working. He found the problem almost immediately (a frozen, cracked pipe) and went to work replacing the pipe and rerouting it away from the drafty vent in our crawl space. He answered all of our many questions and was finished by 3PM. We will definitely be using Dashing Dans and AJ again for emergency work and planned work. You cant beat 24/7 service with a smile! This is rather a long story. I will keep it short. They charged me double for a oil boiler cleaning and the parts. They also tried to sell me an Oil burner that I did not need! They wanted to charge me $1600 for the oil burner and after shopping around another company said that they were way over charging and they would have charged me 1/2 that.......to also find out that I did Not even need an oil burner....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and so did about 3 other companies. YOu CANT trust these guys at all. If you want to get ripped off use this company. Do your homework first!!! Get other estimates!!

Its been very cold the last couple of days as everyone knows my broiler went out last Friday I called dashing Dans and they came fast there was a problem with my fuel oil getting to my oil burner so they temp install a temp line to get fuel to my broiler I still had problems only had heat to half of the house they have came to my house the last 2 days to try and fix all the problems that have occured and find due to extreme cold weather the pipes have frozen. they have tried to throw out lines. But there is pex pipe in the wall. They are very professional and I would definitely hire them any time I have another problem the owner was on the phone with me for over a hour trying to help me through any questions I had they are going to return when the weather heats up so they can get the rest of house working again my 1 st review I was upset and didnt have heat but I see now that dashing Dans plumbing will not leave you out in the coldMe and all of my family thank you Anthony and the rest of your company for all the hard work you have done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dishonest and will rip you off. Will never use this company again! Horrible company . They came to my place for a estimate and they charged me $200 . I called back and the same guy who came to my place was fired the next day . Its like they get these people from the street who have no idea what to do . Better off spending some money at galette air and they will do a excellent job .

2022-06-03We recently moved to Huntington & were looking for maintenance services. They were easy to work with to set up maintenance plan and were pretty quick with an appointment to come take a look at our AC system. The technician that came for our central AC unit was knowledgeable, explained to me what he was doing, answered my questions, figured out our issue & fixed it all within less than an hour probably. Needless to say we were happy with our service & would recommend!

2021-12-31I called Dashing Dans a week and a half or so ago. They came the next day to check out my nat gas boilers leak. The tech Darren showed me where the problem was, seals on heat exchanger, and after some back and forth with manufacturer they were able to get me a new boiler under warranty. The install personnel Anthony & Dave did a stellar job with the work! They also explained what I was and was not getting very clearly! I would certainly recommend Dashing Dans!

2021-08-17Excellent experience using Dashing Dans for my Ductless Mini Split installation. I received quotes from 2 other companies who had quoted more expensive work and claimed that I needed larger units to heat and cool my house. All 3 units (Fujitsu 12,000 BTU and 2 7,000 BTU) installed by Dans more than adequately cool my house. The materials were in stock much earlier than anticipated and they were able to install them within a few days of receiving the materials. The crew was punctual and professional. They explained every step of the way and did very clean work. A few days after my install there was a minor refrigerant leak and it was addressed within a few hours of calling at no additional charge. All around a great experience using Dashing Dans!
