Dave & Busters in other cities:
Edit: Not very often that a business responds to reviews and actually uses your feedback. Updated to 5 stars because of their receptiveness .Fun place to hang out for adults or kids. Bar and games. Everything is linked electronically. Purchase and load a card with money and swipe at each game to play. Only con is how quickly you can blow through money.
First time ever going to a Dave and Busters. Wasn’t sure the rules and how things worked. Went up to the bar and when my girlfriend and I asked we were given extreme attitude by the bartender as if we were already supposed to know. Then when I didn’t have my ID ready at the bar immediately (after waiting 15 minutes with only 2 other small groups at the bar and only a few occupied tables) I was given even more attitude. While waiting by the way all the other servers were just sitting around talking not doing anything. I understand maybe they’re slow but it was extremely uncomfortable. My largest issue was that the bartender was extremely rude. EDIT: I usually don’t go back and add more to a review but I thought it should be known that our time with this bartender made us not want to interact with her anymore and made us go sit down at a table instead of the bar. She was even mean to the other servers. Made the overall experience uncomfortable.
Havent been seince pre covid but I most certainly will not be back. Went with a patty of 5 it was seat yourself. We needed a highchair so our options were linited to the dinning room. All would have been OK but all the tables not reserved for a party were dirty and not bused. We waited several minutes and asked multiple staff for help. Once seated we ordered 2 sets of wings for the table both came out very under cooked and unsafe to eat. Our dinners were just ok nothing great. Game play was so expensive. The only good part about the whole experience was our server he was wonderful. Will not be going back any time soon.
Family of five gaming probably didnt get 10 minutes per person have $175 spent on cards for the games. Definitely not returning. For that amount of money a family should be able to spend at least an hour in a game setting and have fun together not be let down 10 minutes into it ..just my opinion
Holy smokes so you pay $20 for like 4 games and then the prizes are outrageous. You want anything other than candy itll be about idk 15,000 pointsThe staff was super nice only reason Ill give 2 stars. But the food also disgustingly over priced. So we had the 3 drinks two sets of wings (only like 6 pieces) a kids pizza and a $7 dollar tip...it was 55 DOLLARS?!? FOR WHAT?!The drinks alone are $3.50 a piece.
Went there tonight with my husband and 3 kids for dinner and games. We were told after sitting down that there was a very limited menu. Had to eat elsewhere. Went back to D&B so kids can play games. After waiting quite some time at front desk for card, we were told games werent working. Needless to say my kids left in tears and while both encounters with the staff happened to be management, no heads up were giving the first time we went in. Very unprofessional.
I never leave reviews…but I have to share This….I actually had a good time with my friends.. but the a few of the staff members were rude especially the Spanish female the bartender (on arcade side). instead of saying “ok my apologies it’s a misunderstanding” she decided to go and argue with me and give me a dirty look all because me and my friend misheard what she said. It’s truly loud in there and there’s no reason to have an attitude when it was a misunderstanding we can’t hear and it’s obvious we have mask on…also….My wallet was left in an area by accident I did get it returned within 10 minutes the man who helped me was probably the nicest guy in the place, but….$80 cash missing yes that’s my fault but really Dave and busters?…it was handled poorly I get “you aren’t responsible for stolen or lost items” but you can definitely handle it friendlier I’m not upset about the money but 3 cards were out of the slots of my wallet? and there’s no need to go through it when my license is on top of everything once you do open it. the way the manager handed it to me was weird and she just looked at me and said nothing lol. Very emotionless manager for an arcade very awkward. You’d think spending a decent amount of money you’d be treated nicer
There was a great selection of games, they pay out pretty good tickets per game, and theres a selection of prizes any kid could find something to take home. But the food was not worth the price. I didnt finish what I ordered. Eat somewhere else in the mall and come here for the fun after.
Fun place to go play games with your kids. Food is definitely not great and there are so many other choices in the mall for instance Maggie McFlys is definitely a better place to eat but if you just looking to waste a couple hours playing video games with the kids it is very fun. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and very helpfu👍 the app is terrible its not even worth downloading.
A bit overpriced. You get a candy thats normally $1 in a store here for 400 tickets (which, in terms, are equal to $4, because $1=100 tickets). The same way Nintendo Switch is 100,000 tickets which is equal to $1000. Whoaaa no thank you. Id rather buy it in the store. But it was clean and not too crowded. The staff is very skilled and manager is friendly:)All the kids we brought had a good fun.Not a cheap alternative to a Bday party
Came here for our sons birthday I ordered all American burger because the menu is horrible , I asked for well done and it was still raw so the manager came over and said “ what’s wrong with the burger?” So I told him and he said give me your burger and we will fix it in a very rude manor. I would rather spend my money at Maggie McFlys
Fantastic adult game arcade. I believe there is something for everyone and it has classic things to get as prizes like stuffed animals and such, and then there are things like spa stuff or gaming keyboard its pretty niftyDefinitely recommend to go on Wednesday when its half price
Dave And Busters never disappoints. I visited the Albany location today with some old time friends. We had a blast, unlimited wings and appatizers is always the best way to go. Had a good clean seat, waitress, was in top of her game, always had drinks and a fresh basket of wings. She has a picture of her kids in her writing pad which I thought was really sweet...but back to the games. They had the game on and great views no matter where you sat we went to go play some games and it wasnt too packed and there was enough room to move around. Plenty of games and everything worked that we played. We spent about 6 hours there and it was good the whole time. Once again, thank you DandB for another great night.
First time ever at Dave & Busters. A buddy of mine was shocked that I had no clue what D&B was, so we decided to do a 4h road trip just to try it. Let me tell you, it was totally worth it! The food was amazing, the place was super clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We were served by Al at the bar, such a nice guy! I had the grilled salmon and my buddy had the double cheeseburger with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection!!! I have already told plenty of people about how amazing this place is and were already planning another road trip to D&B! Cant wait to go back!
I had to stop at the mall to charge, and we chose to dine here. Service was swift and friendly, but both entrees came to the table very salty. Our side of fries, which is normally good at my local DB, was also very salty. The waitress offered to call a manager over and have my bill credited, and if it werent for the fact that my car was done charging and I didnt want to incur an idling fee--i wouldve waited. This location can do better.
Love it here, but unfortunately there have been a number of thefts lately. Last night my sister had her wallet stolen and was told its the 3rd time this week. The police are aware and hopefully on the trail of the the theives who stole her wallet. She was playing a game and set her wallet on the little tables right next to the game and they grabbed it and ran. (She wasnt drinking because she is pregnant! Not that that should be an issue if she had been) Security said they watched the guys run out... So Im putting this review up so people are aware of whats been happening so it doesnt happen to you or your family when youre out for a fun night and your life gets upheavaled because of dirtbags with nothing better to do!!! Her cards were stolen and used, license, cash, insurance cards, and important health papers gone. So be vigilant and trust no one!!
Overall Ive had good experiences at D&B. Most recently I ordered the philly steak sandwich, and as you can see in the photo it was the worst steak sandwich ive ever been given. I sent it back to the kitchen and asked for it to be taken off my bill. My kids food had arrived and I didnt want to wait for a new meal, so I just skipped the meal. Honestly they have good happy hour prices and the food has usually been good, but this past visit let me down. Weighing my past visits and this one, I averaged them to 3 stars.
Well went for my sons birthday. Was told to scan the QR code bc they dont do menus that was fine. When I went to place our order I had 30$ worth of shots I didnt order or receive. Our server was giving ladies drinks on my tab :-/ yeah Ok NO! Wont be going there for awhile.
Every order was wrong and we waited over an hour and a half to get two plates. We were in a group of about ten and it took thirty minutes alone just to get drinks.I would NOT recommend eating here. They also ran out of burgers so some of us didnt even get what we ordered.
I am giving one star because of the restaurant service. The concept of the self seating and ordering sounded great, and though it was busy, the service was HIGHLY disorganized. There did not seem to be a specific server per table, they were running low on silverware, and many tables had been left dirty and forgotten to be cleaned. The food service was fast, but the portion of what one of my friends ordered was not accurate to the photo what so ever. The worst part was the state of the bathrooms. They were revolting and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. There was a very pungent odor, and what seemed to be urine all over the floor. It actually made my friend feel sick to their stomach. Overall, not impressed with the service as my previous experience had been much better.
Your app shows this special for unlimited wings and game play but then after we traveled a little over 2 hours to get to the store they told us this was corporate and ended on Superbowl. We do not follow sports but were interested in this special. Should not advertise it if its not available!
Visit 9/5/21- You now seat yourself, order on the app yourself, pay and tip on the app yourself. Then someone brings the food. 1 order was perfect, appetizer and fries, other not so much. Burger ordered medium well, came all pink except for outside. Waited for someone to pass by. Advised it was undercooked, waitress asked what do you want me to do. I asked if it could be cooked more. She took away my whole plate including my side. Then someone who I believe may have been a supervisor came over and just said- what was wrong with your burger. I said it was a bit undercooked, but no worries the waitress brought it back. I did not complain at all. He said nothing and walked away. About 5 minutes later he came back and said how do you want it done, I said why dont you just do it well so there is no issue. He walked away again without a word. Burger came back after quite a bit of time, not even close to well done. Totally pink inside again. No one came and checked, no one cared. Not one sorry, except from me to the waitress when she took the first plate back. Yup, I said sorry for something they did wrong. Then they did it wrong again, didnt care to check if they got it right.
My friend remains undefeated in Connect 4. The board game at home, and the giant version and the basketball version here. Throwing axes is fun too. You always have to walk around to find out where to buy the cards, which are $3 each, which is a minor annoyance. It was not busy when we were there and theres everything from skee-ball to virtual reality stuff (that one we did not play).
Great spot if you want to eat and be an arcade head 😊 Theres a good variety of games. Some of the prizes are cheesy and are cheap like theyre from the Dollar Tree. I think the drink menu can be improved . The Salmon with jasmine rice and green beans (as the two sides) was very flavorful and cost $18.Make sure you charge your phone before coming because you have to look at the menu and order your entire meal all through your phone or bring a charger.
I ordered chicken fingers and the scraps I give my dog when I trim chicken at home were bigger. $11.75 for 4 very small scraps of chicken is a rip off.It took the waiter 10 minutes to bring a paper menu after the qr code messed up my phone. Then the waiter brought my food ten minutes before my wife and son. Took20 minutes just to get the check. Stay away from eating here. Don’t waster you time eating here. Just go for the games. The place was just too loud for me but that’s just me. Great night out with the family otherwise
Service was very poor it took 20 minutes for them to and clean the table made a problem because one of the people didnt have a ID but can clearly be said is over 40 years old my sisters birthday and they treated her as if she was just ordinary didnt bother trying to check on us once in a blue moon came by didnt clean the tables until about 20-30 minutes of us being there very outrageous pricing staff is very rude
Staff is nice, prices could be worse, but so many machines were having minor issues and the place was very understaffed. Was happy to see the prizes had improved though the pricing is wild.Quick response from management is always great, so Im editing to thank them for the reply. We will certainly be back, specifically if you wanted to pass it along. Some of the ball based games we difficult if not impossible to play& enjoy. (Less the basketball more the others) clown game, bottle toss game, and many in that corner of the gaming floor simply didnt have enough balls to play fluidly. (One machine would have more than the other, or both of another game were 2 short for the precounted numbered games. Its likely people have taken home a souvenir or two from your machines over the years. And its not a common thing to notice. But I try and be a very detail oriented reviewer, and when i return, should these things and similar be resolved, Ill be sure to 5 star, with a glowing picture filled review.
Staff was nice and polite. Was loud but its a family gaming place. The booths tho were ragged and torn and were not comfortable at all. Make sure you have a scanner app to order, No menus just a qr code to order food. Also you pay in advance soooo if you are gonna tip you tip before you are served. Which defeats the purpose of tipping. The food. Had the iPa battered fish and fries. The fish. Was reallllllyyyyyyy good. I mean I hate fried fish but I wasnt feeling a burger. But the fish I would have again! Son had a cheese burger. He liked it :) not as much as the games tho!So 4 stars cause preparing and no menus and tattered booths and prepaying before I even receive service. Food and games keeping it at 4 stars.Once again tho staff was really nice!
First off you walk in now and there is no sign and the guy selling game cards came over to tell us it’s seat yourself. I was watching people after me stand there and wait too. Maybe you should post a sign letting people know they can seat themselves instead of having the poor game card guy coming over to inform everyone. Then we sat down and realized we order everything through our phone. There is no personal experience at all except the girl that comes over to tell you once you send your order she will bring you drinks. Then when she does bring your drinks over she doesn’t say anything and just begins to put drinks on the table and not asking who has what. Then when our app comes out we have no napkins and no silverware. My husband needed a refill and we weren’t sure if we needed to put it into our phone because she kept walking by and not offering even though his drink was clearly on the edge of the table where it could be seen. Then our dinner came out and it was the same thing as our drinks... they just put the food at the edge of the table instead of asking who had what. I have been in the restaurant industry for 18 years and this order through your phone and no personal interaction is horrible. My husband even said this makes me want to never come back.... it’s not enjoyable. He is absolutely right. I understand covid changed a lot but how can I get a Bill with a suggested gratuity of 18% when I honestly did all of her work for her? I ordered my drinks and food... I even passed it out because it was put on the edge of the table. I had to flag her down for refills, napkins and silverware. So where do your servers earn any money.I honestly don’t think it’s on the servers. If they were taking the order it would be a lot more personal, she would know who ordered what. Having the ordering through your phone is a horrible decision and I think it will effect your servers money in the end which will make them leave.
Great selection of games, server was friendly, but my lemon pepper wings totally sucked, sharp bone shrapnel no flavor, my 2 kids had the chicken tenders, said they were ok, basic frozen fries, uggghhhh, sorry but for $15 a plate 8 wings, Im good 😆 Ill go back 4 entertainment but probably never eat there again.
We were forgotten... Then they charged us $82 for FROZEN chicken meals because everything else was out of stock.. NOT IMPRESSED with this place at all. Food quality is very poor. As much money as this place makes you think they would hire a REAL-CHEF that knows how to order fresh food instead of prepare meals from Sysco and how to cook a proper meal.. $82 dollars and two of the meals were kids meals. McDonald’s has better quality food for Christ sakes.
Dont come in with expectations. We had a great server, who promptly let my little family know (*jokingly* and in a half funny/sarcastic way) that he hated the place he worked for, and did not think very highly of the food. Overall he was as nice as can be. He re-iterated something I thought for a long time; Dont come into a place like D&Bs with any expectations. They serve booze and peddle video games. They are not know for culinary masterpieces. So as long as you are fine eating a Applebees level of food, you have set the bar appropriately. Fun time was had though, so crap food and jaded server aside its a good place for a single visit. Wont be back again for another year.
Taylor, one of the bartenders that work there is fantastic. Really hard worker and she is super fast with making sure that everyone at the bar was taken care of.However. I run a business and am a manager and I can see that your employees need more support and an overall better culture
In response to Dave and Busters concerns. The staff at the counter did not acknowledge that we even existed when our party of 3 walked in the door to get token cards until we spoke up to them and distracted them from their own non business related conversation. This would warrant 3 stars. The following visit our server was fantastic and very attentive hence the upgrade to 4 stars.
Like most arcades the cost can easily add up quick but nice place for kids and adults to spend time together. The arcade store at least has some decent prizes to use your points towards for both adults and children and they are not ridiculous with how many points are needed towards them like other places.
This location used to be decent but has seemingly gone down hill. A lot of the games were closed or out of order for no real reason. The game selection is not that great. There’s a lot of repetitive games and others that actually were different were, of course, out of order. I had a difficult time getting through the $25 on my card due to the lack of variety in games. The prize area was also extremely bare. I’ve never seen a Dave & Buster’s with so little in terms of games and prizes. However, our group did get a few drinks at the bar and the bartender was very nice and friendly. Hopefully the management works on adding in some more games that aren’t just all different versions of the same game.
It was absolutely awful. i’ve been to this dave and busters several times and it’s always the same experience. the food was cold. we kept getting brought out the wrong food several times. one of us didn’t even get the food until the rest of us were done. the hamburger my brother got looked absolutely horrendous. it was nasty. so we sent it back and didn’t even get it back. my food was burnt. it tastes so bad i couldn’t even eat it! and on top of that when you get charged extra for the truffle fries and they don’t even bring you the right fries! it was $120 for a family a 5 and it was not even worth it. i was better off going to mcdonald’s. sad.
Its sadly the closest thing to an arcade in the region. Its got many redemption arcade games, along with many games themed to popular video games, like Mario Kart and Halo.It lacks any real pinball or classic arcade games you may remember from the 1980s or early 90s. Id love to see a classic section here.
We sat down to order and the waitress made us scan the code for the menu. Fine, cause a lot of places were doing that because there was no contact because of covid. But we looked around and saw other tables getting handed paper menu...there was practically no food on the menu and when you order through the site you have to pay right then and then start a new order for anything additional like another round of beverages. When I ordered food it has you chose if something is an app or an entree and even if you do that, they still bring it all to the table as apps. Seriously the worst experience ever. Our waitress stood around doing nothing when she could’ve been taking our order instead of us wasting time on the site trying to figure it out. My husband order an additional beer after we paid for the food and he opted to pay in cash. He sat at the table for 45 mins waiting for them to bring him the bill for the beer. The games are fine and fun as always the food portion needs so much work.
We visited on a Wednesday for the half price day. It seemed as if they raised the amount need to pay for each game and then gave you half off. Then I purchas extra points for my son to be able to get extra prizes. The prize store was just about empty. Also, the points needed to buy prizes are absolutely ridiculous. 850 points for a small can of sour patch kids? That equals $8.50!!! Dollar store prizes!
Horrible experience. Ordered some bad food to get drinks with my boyfriend and play games was having fun until I ordered my THIRD drink (from a different bartender) and then the manager comes up and says the bartender is uncomfortable to serve me I was shocked and said why and he said because she felt uncomfortable and I was intoxicated, when I clearly was not I understand if I actually was that’s the protocol but I basically got ignored then he walked away. People at the bar were shocked as well... I even talked to the first bartender that gave me the two original drinks and she was very apologetic because she knew I wasn’t “intoxicated” but couldn’t serve me because of her manager...I’m 25 years old I wasn’t intoxicated off two drinks I felt very judged, it honestly ruined our whole night.
Havent been here since it first opened. Went for a kids birthday party and it was nice. Very upbeat lively atmosphere. Expect lots of running, yelling and bumping. The food for the party was plentiful and decent. The waitress was amazing and very efficient. My only complaint was my drink. It was cute and tasty but had ZERO alcohol content. Maybe because it was a kids party so they watered down my drink well actually sugared it up. So I guess next time Ill order at the bar with no kids. Maybe I will get a cocktail with actually alcohol in it !
I just love it!! The games are awesome!! I was having a birthday party there, and I was sitting at the table and my cards were on the table. The manager took the cards off the table, and gave us free chips! Such a gentleman and very nice. But it was probably because my brother works there but still very nice.
They always make sure we are well accommodating considering my wife is in a wheelchair. She always has ample space and they are always checking in with us and I’m assuming other couples to make sure they continue to improve. The games are so much fun. A lot of younger children games but for us adults that’s the best part. We love the games even as an adult. All in all if your looking to have a great time with friends family or even hosting a birthday party Dave and Busters is the way to go!
Pretty entertaining place. Lots of games and they seem to be getting more. Which is great. Way too many basketball games in my opinion but they seem to be played for the most part. I feel like d&b should be in a bigger building. If the arcade was a little bigger with more games more room it would be able to fit all their people. I can’t say I’ve eaten there. But I’ve gone for multiple date nights and will continue to. Half price Wednesday is the best day to go. Their bathrooms have always been clean. They aren’t extremely populated with staff but they seem to be able to get everything done. It’s not cheap but nothing is anymore. It’s a fun time. That’s what matters.
I use to take my daughter here frequently pre COVID.. I understand thing are challenging right now but you can do better. First off, the bathrooms are closed to the public. It is not posted anywhere that they’re closed so when your four year old has to go to bathroom after drinking an entire glass of water , you have to run them to the mall entrance to use one of cross gates. Second, the restaurant service itself is awful. I waited approximately 20 minutes for forks and napkins after our food was dropped off. To ask about the bathrooms , I had to go to the ticket counter because I could not get anyone’s attention at our table. Third , when my daughter got her Mac and cheese there was a hair in it. Which is always awful but given the current climate of things it speaks volumes to the lack of precautions they’re taking behind the scenes. If I could give them zero stars I would
Games are fun at a fair price. Even better deal if you go on Wednesday for half price games. The food is decent, but nothing memorable. Service was friendly and prompt, however it is so loud in the building that it is challenging to hear others at the table. Good environment for both kids and adults.
Being Saturday night it was pretty packed! To be expected. Even being so, the atmosphere was great! The bathrooms could use some attention and air freshener!!! There were only a couple games out of commission. The customer service was fabulous! I had 4 bartenders try to take my order in the time I was ordering my drink. Very friendly staff. Big downside was they do not have a scanner at the bar and one of the guys in my party was denied because of it.
Its not Dave and Busters fault...but restaurants need to stand up against the politicians rules of no drinks without food. I ate prior to coming to the mall, was then going to watch a movie and wanted to have 2 drinks before the movie. Im told that I must buy a huge meal to do so. Its completely asinine. I left, unfortunately D&B missed out on around $16 and a tip for the bartender. The bar was empty also, I was the only patron. Moral is not a rip on this place, its a nice spot. Although, these covid rules are a but farfetched in my opinion. On that note, peace on the streets everyone. Update: went after the movie. Waited at bar and no service for the 4-7pm happy hour. It was a few mins until 7pm. I had to eventually ask some waiter if I could be served for haply hour, Ill get food. Bartender finally comes and says happy hour is over. I say, my phone says 7pm. She states her POS reads 7:01. Smh. Horrible customer service in that regard.
The games were amazing, lots of entertainment for all ages and fantastic interactive fun. The girl at the ticket desk though was lacking personality at all, when asked a simple question Can you pay the difference of the item with cash, after you use tickets? She very rudely stated No and just went on about her business. Ive never been to an arcade where you cant spend cash on items in the gift shop. Otherwise great experience.
Worst experience ever! My family and I literally waited for a clean table for over an hour! Servers would just pass us by, and would not clean a table for us to actually sit down. And when we sat ourselves, no one ever came to take our order. It was so upsetting that we got up and left to eat elsewhere. Awful!!!
I really really want to give this place 5 stars because for the most part the staff tries for excellence. I mean you have a couple here and there that have a bad day but they always strive to make it right. The games are amazing and always lots of fun whether your 14 or 50 there is always something fun to do while you wait for your food or drinks. Bartenders, havent met a bad one they are always on top of their game. The menu .... great pub food but sometimes the freshness, depending on the time of day and how long it sits is questionable. I never complain but it is good but has the potential to be great. Regardless I still visit, play, and eat at least twice a month with friends.
This place is HUGE and the games are always kept up well and working. Food at the restaurant is always delicious and priced reasonably. Bartenders know their stuff and can handle a mob well.Great place to go and hang out for a few hours.Definitely go when the tots arent around. Trying to hit this place where theres a mob of kids running around is definitely NOT the experience Im recommending here ;)
Fun place, waiters are quick and very nice and friendly. Drinks are reasonable price and they have a wide selection of games that you can play and enjoy. Really fun if you go with friends or on a date. They keep the place nice and clean and everything is easy to use or understand.
The food is so bad the cooks are just awful dont ever go here to eat unless youre so drunk that you wont notice how bad and rubbery the fries are let alone any other portion of food that you order. The games are fun though and they do have a good selection of interesting and fun and scary games which makes up for the fact that you didnt eat there you had to eat someplace else. And if you do choose to eat here I know you thought they might be better than I told you they were but theyre not. Its not your waitresses fault you tip her good its the cooks fall until the manager and the manager will have to tell the corporation and maybe someday theyll get it right
Such a fun place to go to with friends and family. I went on Christmas evening and everything including the bathrooms were completely clean. The prizes are so much better these days, and its not impossible to get them. Everyone that worked there seem to be in really good spirits. We had some appetizers as well. They were decent I guess for Dave and Busters; youre going there for fun and the atmosphere not necessarily the food. Overall, wonderful experience. Cant wait to go back!
Good creative food choices. Average sports bar scene with added fun. Games are really cool to have in combination with restaurant-bar. A little pricey for the games unless you come on Wednesday. Definitely a fun place for the family to eat drink and have fun. This is part of the mall so you can enter from the parking lot or the mall.
Experience was fun. There were some solid games there. However for a person the loves gaming I was a little disappointed in their selection. A lot of the games were remakes of video games which may be a positive or a negative thing for you. I just kind of felt like they werent worth spending to much on because i could play at home. The drinks were good even though they only had one man working the bar. We had to wait so long I ended up walking away before my second drink. I bought the ticket deal that was advertised as their best deal. I spent $58 dollars with tax and split it between 4 friends. We still had enough credits to play for 2+ hours.
I’m never one to leave a review, but the service on January 12th, 2020 was completely awful. The burger was burnt and tasted disgusting, and none of my party is picky, so it must be awful. The unlimited wings came out extremely slow and the boneless wings were inedible. Also, the suggested tip is completely wrong. My bill was $26.74. The suggested 16% tip was $6.30. $6.30 is 23% of the bill. If this is not illegal, it is highly unprofessional. Lying about a tip percentage to get unknowing people to pay more is a scam. Overall, it was an unpleasant visit.
We went to play games and get dinner. The games were great as usual but the food was not so much. We got burgers and mac and cheese. The burgers were not cooked right and the mac and cheese had bacon and chicken in it. It also had bread crumbs. The bacon was not cooked and the bread crumbs was like eating sand. Staff was friendly and timely.
Bring cash like you would to a casino. Otherwise youll break the bank here faster than you can blink. Its loads of fun and I go there expecting to spend about $150 for 3 kids in under 3 hours. They have a pretty extensive pub grub bar food menu, which I dont like but some do. We go about once a year and its worth it for the entertainment value. Today we went in the late morning, had lunch ($75 for lunch for 3), spent a few hours, and then saw a matinee which happily was only $10 per.
Three stars because the atmosphere is fun and exciting to play games but the service seemed overwhelmed. The food was just sub par. We ordered a medium steak and it came out raw. After our dinner it took us about 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar. Staff must have walked past us 10 times before they rudely asked us how they can help us. Dirty drink cups stacked up on the bar and crew member just standing around chatting all night. The bathroom facilities were absolutely horrible. went in 3 times and they never had toilet paper. Then the third time I go to wash my hands and there was a pair of dirty underwear on the sink. That’s the last time I go. End of story.
Fun atmosphere, food was great and we all had a great time. Only gave four stars because the wait for food and drinks was long. However, they were bursting at the seam. The place was jammed packed so its understandable. Our waiter was courteous and the employees seemed to be having fun talking to customers and being accomdating. We ordered chicken wings, triple plays, burgers and cheese fries.
Its just a glorified arcade. I strongly discourage anyone interested in going to eat anything there. It would be smarter for them to get rid of the dinning section as well as the kitchen which is basically a freezer and a microwave and turn it into something like a VR arena or something cool. Maybe put in a laser tag or event space. Also it is always understaffed and smells of stale fog machine odors. They should really hire more people and train them to be able to work all parts of the arcade. This would definitely make everything way more efficient and it would make customers want to come back instead of just thinking of this place as an option. Also it would be great if the staff members and managers could smile without it being when we give them money at the entrance. If you work in an arcade your job should be fun, no? I would love to see staff getting involved with customers and maybe if they see someone playing a racing game by themselves join in and make it memorable. It is the little things that make people want to comeback and that breeds customer loyalty. I believe that this business can be successful, but not if they cannot adapt.
Games are fun but everything else was dreadful. The service was as awful. We waited over 20 minutes just for drinks to be served and they were just simple sodas. Once we finally got our Food was absolutely disgusting; everything was completely over salted and over cooked. A $25 appetizer was barely edible and dont even get me started on the slop that was presented as entrees. Then waited another 25 minutes to be brought the check. I will say that the place did seem to be fairly busy but the majority of the tables were empty and not 1 person was even sitting at the bar. Will NEVER eat there again. The food court in the mall is 1/4 the price and Wendys food is prime ribs compared to the spam they serve at Dave n Busters. Since they probably make the majority of their money on games I would figure they would want to get the customers in and out of the dining area as fast as possible so they spend more time and money on the games. Highly recommend saving your money and just playing the games!
Me love Dave & Busters,my daughter wasnt as pleased with the new limited menu as it no longer offered her favorite, sliders and the chicken tenders was what seemed kind of skimpy for a dinner menu. Her brother actually gave her some of his because he felt bad for her.
Dave and Busters is always a good time. The arcade is loads of fun for all ages. It’s a great place to go out on a fun date. It can be a little pricy but it is loads of fun so it’s worth it. The food is also pretty good, along with their signature margaritas and cocktails. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to have a fun night.
The staff here are super helpful!!!! Sebastian a manager I think, came to our table to make sure everything was great. They were super busy so our food took a little extra for time but honestly, what do you expect on a Saturday night?! My husband and I had a great time. We also loved the VR game thru had there. The staff for the video games were helpful and quick.
Summary: fun games, fair food, dissapointing management. Basically went for happy hour and half priced games.... atleast I can say I played the half priced games.I have to say I was incredibly disappointed. I was there to celebrate a major life event with friends and some of us wanted to get dinner during happy hour before playing the games. The food and drinks were fine, after my fiancee was told she had to order two appetizers to get the happy hour price or pay full price for one (for some poorly explained reason....). But when the bill came it appeared as though my drink and my fiancees drink were not put through the happy hour half price cocktails. When we asked about it the waitress was kind, but appeared a bit frazzled and eventually took the bill. A manager returned who was rude and uninformative. We were told the margarita was usually $13-$14 so the $7.50 was somehow half price (after her extra shot was added which we didnt ask for). Ive seen bigger and better margaritas at literally anywhere else for less than that. And then my drink was apparently one of the few not included in happy hour. I ordered one type of long island iced tea and my friend another from the same area on the menu and no one said anything. Needless to say it will be hard to justify returning, especially after the manager was little help and this put a negative spin on a potentially fully fun evening.
I liked the dine and play but the credit system for playing the games is really a turn off. It s like this a game shouldnt take 6.8 credit s to play. Makes it harder to keep track and ice you dip below 3.3 you basically cant us the credit on the card unless you put More on it. To me its like they are ripping you off . They really need to drop the .# and make the credits whole. The star grade was really 2.7 but 3 looks better...Right?!
Worst service and food ever! They were very quick to take our orders and tell us about their great food & game combos but failed to mention the $3.00 activation fee per card. My food was cold when i got it and there was no silverware. We had to ask for that after the food was served. They didnt even have salt or pepper shakers! Had to wait to get drinks. Steak sandwiches had hardly any meat it was all bread..tater nuggets were so hard almost broke a tooth. This was my first time there and needless to say my last!
Food is less than satisfying but the drinks are awesome. Love the bar layout for sports. You can get a speaker for your table and be able to hear your game of choice. Arcades arent as cheap as they used to be though. Youll blow through a decent chunk of change within a couple hours. If you save up enough tickets they do offer some decent prizes. Of course they require a ridiculous amount of tickets but thats what arcades have all done for years.
Plenty of seating due to the pandemic. It must have taken a toll on the place. Waitress werent very cheerful, and the manager is more concerned about getting through the day then helping patrons. Bathrooms reaked of urine, so un bearable it make you gag. Food was quick but the macaroni and cheese came out burnt. QA probably another thing 86 after the covid.
A good time for the games. Id advise you to eat before coming, or after, because the service is horrible and the food mediocre - DONT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY ON THE FOOD. Even the bar service is slow on not busy days.Bottom line: go to enjoy the games. For everything else, there are better values to be found elsewhere...
The food is passable, and affordable (if you go at happy hour). Nothing exceptional, and the gaming is not TOOOO expensive. Draft beers, drink specials, and a raucous clientele make it festive and fun - just expect to lay down $25 or more per person as a minimum at a place like this.
This is a wonderful place to eat. The staff was so nice and friendly. And the price was right. We was able to put the money on the card without moving from the dinner table, its was done all at once. It was the best time we had in a while. We was having so much fun we didnt realize how late it was 1:30am store close at 2am
I waited for 30 minutes for our waitress to bring us refills on our drinks and she had to ask twice. That’s absolutely ridiculous. They have a special where appetizers are 50% off at a certain time, our waiter brought a menu with 3 items on it..... So we decided to order 3 apps to make it easy on the kitchen and when the waiter brought our our food after waiting for at least 25 minutes, one part of our food was cold. Overall we waited for about an hour for food and drinks. The food and service was absolute trash. Plus they also changed the games to where some games charge you for minutes of playing. So I would swipe my card for one game and my girlfriend wasn’t able to swipe the card again to play the game next to me because the machine said it had 0 minutes left. And for prizes, they never have anything that’s worth the time and money you put into Dave and Buster’s. Basically everything was horrible, I know everyone has a bad day but this shouldn’t happen at a place like this.
Its Dave & Busters - Ive been to a few of these but this is my local D&B. Not super impressed compared to others - always seems a little unkept in places like tables next to the games, frequent out of order games, and the rewards shop is too cramped for how many things are going on in there. But, its an arcade so I should expect some of that stuff - right? What gives this place three stars besides what I just mentioned is the food and bar service. My experience with people who work in that area is severely hit or miss. Either theres the bar tender who is trying so hard to keep up with everything o and then theres 3 waiters not tending to their tables, just chatting and joking or theres just not enough employees covering these areas. Happy hour here is great, but the service really takes away from the quality as you cant entirely make use of it since theres not enough employees to meet everyones needs at happy hour.
Got here with our family and we were told we would have to pay a a $10 cover for each person because they had a fight on. We were not here for the fight just dinner and games. Finally we got in and were told our wait was going to be 30 minutes .. an hour later we were seated. Our appirizers came out cold and our dinners came out under cooked. Worst experience ever. Managers were very unpleasant to talk to.
Food was the worst ever, first n last time there. Drinks so overpriced. Food fries were left under heat lamp way too long 1/2 the chicken strips were tough the batter no flavor or crunch just made them worse. The philly sliders were 95% bun 3% toppings n 2% beef the pickle I cherry tomato on top were the only tasty thing about them. The marinara, hot sauce n dressings were good but one dip was unidentifiable it was a whipped gritty something. I was offered a replacement meal but already lost appetite. So not comping the dinner cause probably looks bad I got a whole 10$ free play card. My granddaughters liked that. 36$ of wasted money n time.Corp asked me to call I did had to leave message, did twice never returned call . more wasted time
Waitress I had was very kind and funny. I had no issues with the staff. They helped me understand the Dave and Busters app and let me know that the tickets/points never expire. So, I dont have to worry if I dont find anything that I like atm or if I just want to save up.

2022-03-22Took my kiddos (11 and 8) to this location. Enjoyed as always when we visit. Plenty of choices for games and ticket geared games. The location is clean and seems as though a staff member is always nearby if needed. The bathrooms were clean, and food or drink is a few steps away. If you need to tire the kids out or yourself with a beer and video game, this would be a good place to go for a few hours.

2022-01-03Always have a great time here. Food was great and game play was fun. Prize room has excellent choices as well. Only negative aspect is the cost. Pricing has gone up quite a bit. Meals and game play set us back $250 for a family of 4. Will return...just not as often as wed like.

2022-05-08Great big selection of games to play! Staff has always been really nice to us, clean location and plenty of things to do. My only reason for 4 star is the food, in my opinion isnt great. The fries were good, my burger was okay but super greasy and there were fruit flies all around us which made me a little turned off to eat more. But the games are fun, the drinks were really good (for the adults), plenty of space. Good selection of prizes.

2022-01-04There are a lot of fun games to play, that one can choose from, and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint, which ruins my experience is that the games are ridiculously overpriced. The only reason I go to Dave and Busters is because my local arcade that I went to for many years closed. Dave and Busters is like twice as expensive, and for some games even 8 times more expensive than the arcade I used to go to. Games that at my old arcade would only cost a quarter cost like almost 2 dollars at Dave and Busters just for one play. On top of the tokens being ridiculously overpriced, one also has to pay a $3 activation fee. Like what is there to activate? And some of the games that cost a lot to play don’t even give out good amounts of tickets. Chuck E. Cheese’s is far better. Even though they have a lot less games, at least I don’t have to spend an absurd amount of money to play there. The things I like about Dave and Buster’s are that there is a large selection of games to play, and the staff are friendly. I haven’t tried the food here, but I personally don’t go to arcades for the food anyways. If this place could be like several times cheaper, and get rid of the activation fee, then it would become my favorite arcade, but until then, I prefer Chuck E. Cheese’s.

2022-01-31Im giving a 4 star review because when using some of the games we would swipe our cards and credits would be taken of taken off but the game would not work. Also the kiosks we not working properly and took our money but that was resolved by just going to the manager on duty with a receipt and he took care of it. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves with these being the only problems we had. Enjoyable and fun atmosphere though.

2022-07-06This was my first time. Went for dinner and to play some games. I wont be back for food anytime soon. The food was mediocre. Not bad but not really worth getting. The service at the table was non existent. The server dropped drinks off with the promise of straws but disappeared. I had to ask someone else for straws when they dropped off the appetizer. I ate most of my meal waiting for the server to come back so I could get another drink. But they never did. I had to flag someone down so I could pay for the food and enjoy some of the games. The games were fun. I probably would have played more if I wasnt stuck at the table waiting for the server.

2022-06-25It was my sons birthday! Service and waiter Abe was great! Very nice and helpful. The girl at the front door to get our reservation was talking to her girlfriend and playing on her phone for 10 mins while we waited. We had a really great time! The games were very fun. The only thing I found wrong was the cost of the games. And cards. You have to buy the game card. 3$ each, so their goes 15$ with out getting 1 game. Then a lower priced plan was $140 to have 250 credits on each card. The popular game cost 10.7 to 10.9 credits per turn. So it goes fast! With food and games our bill was well over $200 for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. I think that prices people out of coming in regularly! It wont be a weekly thing for us. Not a monthly thing either. But it was fun!

2022-04-29I went to Dave and busters with the wife and kids and son in law for my youngest 18th birthday and may I say: waiter was very extra in serving us and taking our order and the games was worth it. The people who work there know exactly all the information about their restaurant. I would give a 10 star rating but unfortunately I cant. Lisa was our waiter and she was pretty good. Keep up the great work.

2022-06-02Honestly I didnt expect much from the food but it was surprisingly delicious and high quality. I forgot her name but the bartender we had on 5/27 in the evening was so nice, knowledgeable, and personable. Of course, we went for the games. Its so fun there. The life size hungry hungry hippos is my favorite!! They have all your classic favorites like skee ball, air hockey, basketball, pacman, and so much more! What a great night well definitely be back.
