Dave & Busters in other cities:
OMG, we came here to accompany our friends with their kids. They told us that the food was good, ummm that was an understatement!! The food was AMAZING! It was the busiest time of the day on a weekend day and the food came out looking and tasting perfect. We will come back for just the amazing food and desset and drinks😁
Its an arcade where you can get drunk. We went there on happy hour and I got one of the best Long Island iced teas that Ive ever had (the tropical one). The reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because the arcade itself is lackluster. Theyre in a mall so I get space is limited, but the game selection kinda sucks. The food is amazing, but they could do with more space for a more diverse game selection.
We did not eat here but the kids had a blast playing games for hours. I’m honestly surprised at how long they were able to play for. They each got the $25 pass with I think 250 tokens. They really had a riot.On another note, it was really clean. Normally arcade/kid places can be a bit gross sometimes and that was not the case here.
This place is absolutely horrible. The arcade is an arcade, its kinda hard to screw that up, but the rest of the business is a complete fail. You have to order food through an app with your server standing right in front of you. Few of the staff knows how to actually use the app and you cant use gift cards in the app. Naturally none of the staff knows how to process gift cards once youve ordered through the app. The food was cold, small portions, and well below average with regard to taste and texture. You cant even order a drink at the bar if you had previously had a table. You have to order the drink to the app also.
This review, is no reflection on our server, or the service & is only about the food.Even though the service from Jose was good, and the atmosphere for kids and teens was what was to be expected, the menu options left much to be desired.First off, unless you use the app youll never know what things cost.Secondly, there should be a better selection, for those who are on low carb diets.Youd think for a $15 Burger wrapped in lettuce, and a bowl of coleslaw, it would fill up a average adult. A rip off at that price for the equivalent of a whopper. Was the burger good? It was, but DEFINITELY NOT worth the price. Speaking of the bowl of coleslaw, Ive seen ashtrays that were deeper, and would hold more.
Love coming to D&B! We always have great time and win big every time! Just a shame that the price per game has gone up a fair amount. Used to be 3.8 tokens on half off day for SpongeBob and now its 5.8. Is what it is but makes playing go by faster than it used to. Thanks for a great time!
As far as the gaming experience goes, my review would be 4 star+. The arcade-like setup brings the nostalgia of my pre teenage years of spending hours playing arcade games. As far as the dining experience goes, the service tanked the experience. The server was only at the table once or twice. Orders werent taken by the server but instead had to be entered through a website on your phone. The website offered a customization option for entrees but wouldnt let you enter the info necessary to get your order the way you wanted. Finally had to grab another server to get ours over so I could add a note to my order. When the food finally came they still hadnt made the food to order and I ended up not eating. The only good thing about the dining experience was the drink we ordered and the appetizer, the bruschetta, was phenomenal. Apart from that, horrible dining experience. Take aways, go for the fun and games and go somewhere else for dinner.
We went on adult glow night and their were still tons of kids in their, I never seen any security or management around. My server constantly had to deal with a lady who was interrupting everyone and trying to run out on her tab. Also asked her about the lady and she said she told her manager and guess what no manager came out to help the lady did end up leaving without paying! No help but she was amazing and did her best. My son ended up going to a birthday party there recently and I had to warn them of this but they still went and he ended up getting food poisoning!!!! They went at almost 8pm and that was the last place he ate anything and after fever of 103, vomiting and diarrhea. Dave and busters just do better it’s going downhill! Change management for sure and hire new security asap!
Very disappointed in their service. Waited 20 minutes and still NO waitressI asked the guy who bussed tables if he could find a waitress for us, still NO waitress came to our table while 2 other families also waited for service. We left after waiting 20 minutes and ate at rhe food court instead which was well worth it as the food court had a better selection and better service.
Its got a really nice selection of multiplayer games. I would like to see more single player arcade titles as opposed to the number of mobile app games they just stuck on a big screen like flappy bird, crossy road and fruit ninja.Food and drink where good but a little expensive. Staff was friendly and inviting. Its nice to be able to take your drinks on the arcade floor with you.I did not like spending $6 for a single ride on the VR machine in the back near the gift shop. Seems like that should have been thought through a little better by the company. It also wasnt clearly explained and I it seemed like a one-time purchase to add some tier to my points card. It was not.Fortunately they do have a light saver VR game that you can play with your points card.
I normally do not write reviews that are negative but if I could of given my experience a zero, I absolutely would have. Let me start with the group of people we brought in (03/29/2022) around 6pm all are in this service industry and would of spent lots of money and tipped heavy. Our bartender, I believe named Lila, was unfriendly to say the least. We were all patient, let her take her time, and were very friendly. She acted as if we were an inconvenience and wanted nothing to do with us. She was behind the bar slamming the fruit tray, throwing her hands around, and being aggressive. It was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. People who werent even with us would warn us about her, which we were already aware of. Instead of all of us (roughly 18 including kids) staying and enjoying our time, we took our business elsewhere. Disappointing.
GIVE PHOENIX A RAISE!The man has been here for as long as I’ve been coming here and he is always kind, sweet and incredibly knowledgeable about the games. I was in today and had an issue with a machine and once he solved the problem and realized the game wasn’t working, he took care of me. He’s always hard working and when I asked if his blue shirt meant manager, he said no. I couldn’t believe it. MAKE THIS MAN A MANAGER!!!!
Terrible rip off, you spend $50 just to get $20 worth of stuff back, if you spend $20 you get $10 worth of stuff and l calculated it and if you want to get the oculus quest there (130,000 tickets) youd have to go there 30 times and get 4500 tickets on half price Wednesday and to get 4500 tickets youd have to spend $45, so that would mean youd have spend $1500 just to get a $300 console. The prizes have also really downgraded
Went for my sons birthday originally we wanted to rent a room for a more private comfortable experience but they do not allow this for under 15 people. Even throw there was hardly anyone there. You cant book these through the actual location. You have to call and email to get quotes and it takes a few hours to get a response. There is no buffet even though this is mentioned online. It really wasnt that bad but what I found most agravaring is that I wanted a place for the older people in our crowd to sit while kids played games. Unfortunately the only seating options are the bar or to be seated to eat and not to just relax and spend your money at your own pace. I probably would have stayed longer if this was an option. Half of our party left due to seating. The guy who seated us tried to put us at the really high tables and we had seniors in out crowd. Not sure what he was thinking but I had to tell him that table was not an option and it took him almost 10 minutes to find us another table even though there was hardly anyone there. Food was ok priced but not that good. The bread on my sandwich was burnt and the ribs we ordered cane out ony a minute or 2 after we ordered it. Kinda a small menu. Kids drinks with the light up ice cubes were definitely a big hit but not worth the price as there barely a few sips in them. Mac and cheese is cheap boxed Mac that you can buy from Walmart. Our waitress was awesome and the only one they had working. Games are over priced. 4 to 6 credits per game rater then 25 cents to a dollar and you have to pay tax on your gaming card as well.A lot of the games were out of order.Employees at the ticket exchange were just sitting on the counter hanging out.Probably wont go back but I do not discourage others from giving it a try. I think I just expected a better experience given all the hype surrounding the idea of a place like this. I was so excited to go and it was just not what I expected.
The servicing could be better when it was time to pay for the food The sever thought we was giving him a 40 dollar tip and we had to wave him down for the Changes He was very apologetic but he said hes so used to people given him a big tip and it took a long time to get the food I ordered chicken wings They were cold And then they forgot my boyfriends order!!! And thats was another long time
This place is pretty good. The food was above average but not stellar. The cost was good. We went with a family of 4 and ate for around 100 dollars and bought the premier 56 dollar token package which lasted us about 3 hours. The service on the other hand was subpar. Having to track down our waitress and flag down other waiters for drink refills is never fun. Management seemed to be absent all together as when we asked to talk to one they never showed up. It was not a huge deal and we wanted to enjoy our time so we brushed it off.I would go back due to the affordability. Its around the same price for a family of 4 to go see a movie now a days so for a few extra bucks to get a full meal out of it is worth it to me.
I really wanted to love this place.. but it was the worst experience iv ever had.. ordered 2 cheeseburger meals, 1 kids cheeseburger and 1 kids chicken tender meal 2 sides of sauce 2 jolly ranger drinks, yuengling and a water.. The kids got their drinks (not as described) finished them then finally got their meals no sauce for the tenders finished them.. we finally got our meals again no sauce finished them THEN was asked about our sauces and realized we still had NO DRINKS brings us the drinks and puts the yuengling IN FRONT OF A 1 YEAR OLD 🤦♀️🤦♀️and wants to know if we still want our sauces.. REALLY!? with what food!? Not to mention the table that ordered 30 seconds before us got their food drinks done and had the table wiped down before the kids food came out.. waste of time wont be back!
First of all this place smelled amazing!!!! And not talking food smell. It smelled like very pleasant perfume. I thought it was just me but apparently they hear this a lot. Our waiter was extremely pleasant, the drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. The food came out fresh and fast the fried cheese curds are to die for. They had a huge selection of games for all ages and likes. I would recommend this place for sure.
Super fun place to go out to eat. Great drinks too! We ordered food and then played in the arcade. The arcade can become crowded but its really not that bad. They also have security on weekends who patrol and keep everything in order. I hit the jackpot on one of the machines so we were able to get quite a bit of stuff from the store. It was a pretty fun time.
I went for the first time today with my 19 year old to the one in Henrietta . This was a wonderfull experience , all the employees were so kind and helpful . And the one waiter Kris was so professional and on point with everything he did. Ask for him to be your server in the restaurant if you eat there. You wont be disappointed I promise . Good job Dave and Busters 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Its ok....good selection of games, but it takes mucho credits per play!i only went in because i downloaded the D&B app that would give me free $20 play- the catch was the $20 would be loaded via the app.*surprise---app just kept giving me errors!the $42 i loaded lasted the fam & I approx 20 mins-so not a great value @ $20 per 10 mins
Games were fun, but our experience could have been better. Said it was our first time and wasn’t directed anywhere, had no idea how to go about ordering food, or where to sit. Finally ordered, desert?? and drinks came out first but waited WELL over an hour for our meal.. which was fries and small order of wings. Two tables came, ate and left while waiting... including our server (KatelynD) who sat down and ate about the same food we ordered but WE had to wait over an hour.. Then she asked if we had ever gotten our food!!!! terrible service and experience. Won’t refund us after this as well as the food making us sick.
Last year I hosted my 30th birthday here and everyone had a great time, so this year I hosted my boyfriend surprise 30th here and it was a hit. The party room is roomy enough for about 30 people and the food/drink package was really reasonably priced. The entire party for about 25 people cost around $1200 with a buffet of burgers, nachos, pizza, and chicken fingers as well as unlimited coffee/soft drinks. This price also included the room rental, 25 alcohol drink tickets, and $15 game cards for each guest.I had a great experience with everyone in person. My only frustration is that they have you plan your party with a representative who is out of state. For both parties, the out of state rep became nonresponsive as we got close to the event and I needed to call the location directly to get someone to finalize details with me.
A bit pricey but worth it for a great time and great tasting food. The area was clean and during the week and on Fridays its not very busy at all. You will have a blast. Lots of fun games to play. They add more games all the time to keep it fresh and youll love the items you can redeem with your tickets. 4 out of 5 stars.
This is almost as good as Vegas for watching sports. If youre into football you can spend a Sunday here with several games going on at the same time on huge screens. The food ordering is done via an app which makes the whole transaction a little wonky but it is functional. The food is fine, but youre going there to watch the game and have a beer, not because the food options are amazing. The only complaints are that the restrooms are so far from the sports TV area and it took some time before the game we came to watch got put on the TV and we missed the first few minutes.Ill definitely return in the future.
Horrible service or should I say no service. We were seated and told that we were to view the menu on our phones, order and pay all at the same time. We were given our servers name who never came over to our table at all. Our food came out and we had never received our drinks. The person who gave us our food said he would check on them. Came back with my water and said my kids drinks would be out in a minute. We were almost done with our food and still no drinks. I had to go up to the bar to find out where they were. My grandson had ordered a blue raspberry slushie type drink which had no flavor, it was basically blue ice. The only part of the food that was good were the fries. My chicken avocado sandwich was good but had very little avocado and could not even taste the ranch. My daughters burger was not cooked evenly, one side was medium the other side medium rare. Not one employee ever came to check on us and on top of that we had to tip prior to even finding all this out! Had I been able to pay for the bill at the end of the meal like all other places I would not have left the size tip I had left! Will never eat there again!
The bartender did not know how to make an old fashion and I couldnt even taste the liquor in my other drinkThe steak salad was excellent I was very impressed by the temp and quality of the steak I wouldnt have expected that from anywhere but an actual steak house it was a welcomed surprise
Dining service was absolutely terrible. Id give 0 stars because we had no customer service at all. Asked for a table for 2 and received 1 silverware set. We sat for 10 minutes, never got drinks. We got our food. Had to ask the cook, who brought our food out for waters. Had to share our entrees using one fork because our table was completely ignored so we couldnt ask for anything. Had to get up to the bar for refills. Had to ask bartender for check and I told them we had no idea who our waiter was. They said there was a miscommunication issue, and thats why we didnt have anyone wait on us. Hard to believe when we were only 1 of 3 tables there on a weekday. (And we went to the desk to be seated, we didnt seat ourselves, so there was no excuse for that.) They didnt even apologize. We just felt like a complete inconvenience to them. I tipped the helpful cook. I will definitely not be returning, which is a shame since we come to the arcade every week!
Comment pertains to the food choices only...not impressed..they dont even give you a menu..they tell you to scan the QR code off your phone and look up what you want. Couldnt get mine to work and they gave me a piece of paper instead...they dont have many food choices really and 4 salad dressings to choose from. (Ranch, Bleu cheese, Caesar, oil and vinegar)..Disappointed. We usually eat somewhere else and totally should have tonight.
I brought my 10-year-old daughter here with some of her friends and family to celebrate her birthday.we wanted them to hold a small cake in there walk in so we could have it after dinner and the hostess said that they didnt do that.I worked in restaurants for 30 years and I can tell you that we have never ever ever denied anybody that service. The food was very lackluster.everyone who ordered chicken fingers whether on a salad or platter received burnt ones. The service was also lackluster.I would never go back to Dave & Busters and eat again. In fact I may never go back at all.
So masks are no longer required...they burned my bread on my chicken club and did not put the bacon on it. Kitchen service was very slow.Drinks were awesome staff were awesome very friendly place was fun. Truffle fries were great. Definitely would go back for games and drinks.
Visits differ from time to time with service quality. This point I only went to play and have a drink or 2. The attendant at the ticket redemption center was not communicative at all. She did not greet me nor confirm the quantities I was getting from the tokens and cards I got from the Star Trek game.
I went with a group of kids and adults. The positives of our visit was that both kids and adults had fun with the games, and the food was great. The big negative that is the standout of our visit was the terrible service. Our waitress was MIA and several times said she would be right back and vanished, returning 10 or more min later with nothing we had asked for. Appetizers were served and no side plates. One member of our party finally went to ask someone else, wasnt able to get enough, asked the waitress again when she finally returned empty handed, and when she brought them, the appetizers were pretty much gone because everyone got tired of waiting. No plates were cleared. We asked the waitress to remove some of the things we were done with & nothing was taken away. We had to flag down someone who was bussing other tables. If this was a stand alone restaurant, I would say skip it all together. Instead, just hit the games and skip the restaurant.
I was there for my grandsons birthday. Everything appeared clean. The only thing I ordered was strawberry lemonade, claims to have real strawberry puree. It took more than 10 minutes, and my son had to go to the bar to ask about my drink. The drink.was good however, there didnt seem to actually have puree in the drink. Disappointed!!!
Loved every aspect of our experience. We had a party of 15 for surprise birthday party and were sat within minutes. The staff from host to management were all extremely accommodating and polite. Service was excellent, food was great, and the atmosphere was so much fun!
Came here to celebrate my son’s birthday. Haven’t been here since COVID. Was looking forward to enjoying ourselves. The employee checking us in was unfriendly and seemed like we were inconveniencing him. We wanted to sit and eat first. Our server was friendly but I was very disappointed with the whole ordering experience. I had questions about the menu and there was no one to be found after she sat us and walked away. The menu itself was weird for a place like this. Salmon on the menu but no onion rings??! Food was okay. Not great and definitely nothing to come back for. I saw our sever 2x. When she sat us and when she brought the bill. My son needed a refill to wash down his food. No one was around. The two stars are simply because they had fun playing the games. Not a fan.
If you are a college student or an adult this place it’s good to go. I recommend to go late, around 10pm (they close at 2) and enjoy the games with a more calm environment. The food was ok, the margarita was too pricy but it was good. The manager in charge (during the night shift) it’s really helpful. One front desk guy(he was blond), don’t know his name was rude, I went asking if they saw my phone ( I lost it) and he told me the desk was close for the night and didn’t help me. The manager in charge did and I found my phone.
Horrible customer service. Went on a weekday and apparently diners are invisible as we stood there for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. I had to to hunt someone down to at least seat us & then sat at the table for another 10 minutes before anyone even took our drink orders. Im not ordering via QR code so come take my order for God sake! Food was subpar at best & basically did a whole lot of waiting (with 2 kids chomping at the bit to play games)Only good thing was the game selection...
I mostly go here to play video games so cant comment on the food. The games are fun and its the last place to go and get the arcade experience. I grew up in the arcade hey day and it was a magical place during my youth. I wish they had more true video games instead of the ticket games. And I wish they had some pinball.
Came here to play some games and eat dinner. The arcade aspect was pretty fun, but there were quite a few games out of order which was a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the food was not very good. I was a bit shocked by this because when I remember the food being pretty good pre-COVID. The staff was very nice though. I will definitely return for the arcade games, but probably not for the food.
We love Dave & Busters! My daughter got one of the kids drinks with a light up ice cube and loved it! Love the atmosphere and all of the new games! And their new Rewards Program is awesome! You get extra points for checking in and playing certain games! The only recommendation I have is to add some vegan options and soup to the menu.
Dave and Busters is definitely a good time, the games are a ton of fun and the fact that you can drink while playing the games is even better. BUT I wish they would make Saturday nights kids free. The place is advertised for adults but yet kids were running amuck, almost knocking into us spilling our drinks, waiting impatiently to play the game we were currently playing, and cutting in line to play the game we wanted to play. Just one kids free night is all were asking.
Service is now practically self order. You order everything from app and pay and hope you get all your items because if you dont and did not take a screen shot or create an account you have no proof of your order and they wont take your word for it. Honestly Manager was rude and our waitress had to be told what we were still missing everytime she came to table Id she did come to table. And once calling your waitress to table after your bill is paid dont ask for anything because you get cut off and told due to your bill being closed out you cant be serviced anymore. If I go it will only be for games!
The arcade was great. The resturant on the other hand was absolutely horrible. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Between having to order through an app to having a waiter who couldnt keep drinks refilled or condiments for the meal. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this place. The food wasnt all that great for the price that it was either. What is this world coming to with having to order through an app? Absolutely rediculous
My 6 year old Nico had a birthday party on June 26th and please for give me I cant remember our servers name but the manager Erick was AMAZING they were right there if we had questions or needed something was not pushy about payment and the room was great Food was AMAZING everyone had a blast not even just the kids the adults did too!!! :) I cant think you guys ENOUGH Nico said MOMMY this is the best birthday party ever ❤ I definitely recommend and money was definitely worth it!!!
There Food is Great but the Service is terrible some of the employees. The carry out I called went smooth Ordered before my Lunch break. When I get there 20 minutes later Im waiting for Service there is no one the Bartender was alone attending a table which took her like 20 minutes by the time I was waited on my lunch was over. I tried to call to speak to a manager no one answered called multiple times no answer. So sad 😞 with Service.
Went there just to play some games. Spent $80 on three game cards plus activation fees. Several games just took our tokens and there was no staff around. My husband finally found someone and they gave him $5 worth of tokens on his card. Wasnt a good solution for the time it took to find someone. The woman working at the prize area didnt know how to combine our cards so we also left with no prizes. Had fun playing games but sucked to leave empty handed.
All American burger was good.I gave not give stars because some arcades were shut off. Also there was nobody who could assist with buying their card. When was bound digital card, the app was giving me an error without clear explanation what is wrong. Eventually it went through and I was able to play. Other than that is interesting place.
Tags: great customer service, awesome experience, good game selection, great employee help. When I was coming here with a loved one I went to the counter to get a $40 game card, since I forgot to bring my old card it was $43 in total (the additional $3 being for the new card), the manager saw this, looked at me, and waived the new card fee, saving me $3. Though not a ton of savings, it left a big impression on me, very impressed. The game selection is great, Time Crisis, Jurassic Park, Mario Kart racing (with a total of 4!) and atleast ,thirty more games! Id recommend to management getting good photos of the arcade because online its hard to tell what great a selection there is!Id totally come back here again, gotta reccomend!
Went there with some friends yesterday. It was a great atmosphere all around! The staff were friendly. We were seated incredibly quickly, and the food was amazing. The games were all clean and so were the floors. The tokens are really overpriced for what you get back in tickets, but what can you expect its an arcade. Overall an amazing experience I wont soon forget.
We just had our daughters 10th Birthday Party at D&B and it was awesome. We had a private party room that was set up so nicely. The look and feel of the room was appropriate. The set up was nice for the kids and the adults. The buffet was perfect; definitely choices fit for our group. The food was good; hot and tasty. It stayed hot throughout. The service from reservation, planning (Melissa) to service (Al/Mark) finish was top shelf. The price and value are phenomenal especially for the in between age of 10 years old. The customer was the priority and they made sure we had a good time. They were personable and fun! Everyone had an awesome time! We definitely recommend D&B as the place to be for fun games and parties. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to the team! Thank you for a wonderful time today!!!
Tonight was the worst dining experience .We got seated at the Bar, we ordered water with no nice and we both received water with ice,.Asked for straws for our water cups, got ignored and never got ones.Tables next to me received their food first, the Bartenders had attitude and kept ignoring us and giving 5 star services to other tables. My Boyfriend ordered chicken sandwich and fries ,asked for ketchup never got his ketchup.Bartenders didnt asks us once if we need anything else or asked us about how our food was.Absolutely terrrible.Manager was no where to foundDefinitely not going back to thier restaurant, what a poor service you guys have.
I had never been to the Henrietta location. Overall experience wasnt bad other than ticket prizes being ridiculously high... just a bad dining experience. We were sat by a manager and not told to scan the code and to order ourselves sat 15 minutes before someone came over and the site wasnt working well. Service was terrible, never got our drink refills or extras we asked for. Seemed as if we making their day inconvenient. Not sure if we will return.
First off, if you havent been here... GO! Everything about the place was great except for the cost (which was a little high in my opinion). I started with dinner, which was way better than I expected it to be. Being that its a chain, I expected the typical chain restaurant food. The menu had lots of really good options, again... I wouldnt expect from a chain. I ended up getting the handmade fried chicken sandwich and I would give it a 5/5 (I will actually go back just to have that sandwich again). The decor is very modern and very tastefully done. It was completely isolated from the gaming/bar area. It really felt I like I was eating in some modern restaurant, that you would typically find downtown. They could have had a better beer selection, but they did at least have beer on draft. The wait staff we had was very polite and professional. That is something that lacks, at almost every place I go to these days. The food didnt take long to arrive and as I mentioned was very good. Once we completed eating, we went into the gaming area which was very friendly and lively. They had a decent selection of games, all of which would be very fun for kids (there also was some more older crowd games in the back for adults). There was always something available and you never had to wait to long to play if it was busy (this is one of the downsides I will touch on at the end). All in all, it was a great time and I will definitely do it again. With that being said, these are the things that made me not give a 5 star review. You have to purchase a card to be able to play the games (the card should be free in my opinion). Then once you have the card, you have to purchase tokens to play (as you would expect). Not knowing how much the games consumed, we purchased $25 of tokens (I think it was $28 with the card fee). I would say within an hour, all of those tokens were gone (only 1 child played the games). We didnt just blow through all the tokens either. We walked around checking out the games and selecting the ones the child wanted to play. Some of the games lasted for only a few minutes at best. I understand the business model. However, f we you had a family of 4 (Mom, Dad and 2 kids) and went here and had the same experience we did... it would end up costing you over $200 easily (we did purchase a few alcoholic drinks during the stay... which seems to fit with the motif if you will). I wish I had taken some pictures to share (I will the next time for sure). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. It really offers something for everyone and for all ages.
The ribs carried the star rating because the service certainly didnt. Place was empty but due to covid BS it was over an hour wait. Another 10 mins to get menus once seated. Food came quickly but had to wait until it was cold to get utensils. The rack of ribs made up for the headaches, fall off the bone delicious!
During the pandemic I thought for sure they would have hand sanitizer around since your touching the same thing on a game as others but NOPE....I saw only 1 kid going around cleaning games but believe me it wasnt what he really wanted to be doing. We ate at the resteraunt and our food was wonderful but we never got our appetizer and we had to.wait for drinks. Overall not a good idea to.come here during the pandemic.
Very dissatisfied with the dine in portion of the restaurant. The mobile ordering is confusing and un-personal. You have to order drinks and food all at once, from your phone and pay before it even gets there. The waiter never checks up on you and it makes it difficult to order or get anything. On top of that you have to tip at least 15 percent because you have no choice on the app which is fine if you have good service but not in this case. Were at our table for almost 2 hours and barley saw our waiter and only had enough time to order two drinks in that time due to poor service. Also the fire alarm went off in the middle of our meal we had to go outside and wait, was not for very long but we were right in the middle of eating and no one even said sorry or asked if we needed new food or anything.Very poor service and very unhappy with the way the mobile ordering works i wish I could get my money back but unfortunately there wasnt even a waiter availble to tell them we didnt want to pay for this non sense!
GREAT place to bring Family, Friends a Date maybe and enjoy the lights and wonderful atmosphere of friendly, Respectful professional, COVID19 safety first/customer first Employees. Clean environment and its a walk literally inside Market view Mall. Enjoy I did and Safety always first.
The people working here are really nice. The games are awesome. The music is WAY too loud. The food is standard American fair, not exceptional, but good. Im very impressed with number and variety of arcade games, I would like to see a few more Classics personally. I love how theyre card system eliminates the use of tokens and tickets. it seems to make it easier to spend a lot of tokens fast.
I love places like this. Can watch sports and play games and there is something for everyone there. Food is decent as well, only thing I have an issue with is the customer service.Def needs some work here. Ive walked up front and no one is standing there sometimes and also Ive sat at the bar with no one around and it takes 10 to 20 min for someone to acknowledge me. Managers are always cool though and have resolved things for me when they arise. The pros outweigh the cons but employees should be a little more interactive with their customers.
This location is still very busy on the weekends. Not necessarily too busy, but busy enough to feel like it actually has an atmosphere. Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekends (but of course you have the games while you wait). They also have a one drink per ID policy so keep that in mind if you are ordering for your friends. They also have the impossible burger, which is the best imitation burger I have had yet.
I usually take my son to D&B on Wednesday’s because the games are half off. We always have a great time; no waiting and games are always operating he enjoys it.What I don’t enjoy is the hospitality in the dining section the past two weeks. The people at the front say to pick a table and a someone will be with you shortly. It’s now been 20 minutes with no service, not even drinks. We seen servers come back and forth but never to our table. Went to the front to complain and waited another 5-10 minutes. My son (who’s 6) is already to finish playing games and getting very antsy. So once we realized we were getting served we just finished up our games and grabbed something to eat from the mall. Actually much cheaper as well. All in all we enjoy ourselves on the arcade side, I doubt we’d ever dine there again.
Just wiped down table with plain napkin, no cleaner. No menu, only have it on phone and when scanned QR code it only showed up as past customers order. Tried to get help from server but completely ignored us. Very disappointed and wish this place stayed shut down during covid because service is terrible.
I went on a Thursday around 2pm..a day after the half price games weds. Also 4 days after grand opening. The crowd was nice. Not too big, not to small. I did not witness any fighting...The staff seemed friendly. Our waiter was very courteous. The food was actually good. Very Tasty. The gaming was SO fun..Its a huge gaming area/arcade. It can be overwhelming...My advice is to walk it couple times. take a tour...Watch others play games you might wanna play...then have at it!I really like that can leave your drinks at your booth/table and come back to it after you have played in the arcade for a while. We did this and our drinks were still waiting for us when we returned after about an hour an half.
Service was great, but they werent very busy. Perfect from 4-6pm during weeknights if you like restaurants when there less busy. Food was pretty good. Not the best seafood pasta Ive ever had but still good. Steak was cooked great and as ordered. Great deals for food and games, what you send on the games the meal easily makes up for. There cocktails and bar drinks are great!
We went for my sons 13th birthday. The food was alright, but the service was terrible and took very long for the amount of people that were in the dining area. The waitress get saying she would be back in a minute and then didnt return for a long time. It was my first time going and for a party of 5 spending $160 for lunch I will never go again.
The best advice I could give is to speak with a person to get the best service. By this I mean we were accidentally overcharged using the machines to load our gift cards onto the play passes. The manager was friendly and helped us figure out a solution.I’m giving only two stars because we were denied table service when there were many empty tables to be used. We had previously sat down at one of these tables thinking they were a seat yourself type business as we didn’t see a sign to say otherwise. After about 15 minutes another person in my party went up to the main desk to confirm they were to seat us which is fine but they had us move from where we were seated for no real reason other than ‘this is how we do business’. We tried to be understanding but I just believe this to be poor customer service.Atop that the drink I had ordered at the bar was incorrect the first time so I drank it anyways not to be fussy and made wrong a second time where as I still didn’t complain. It was only a simple rum and coke and I was given something sweet and syrupy; not sure what.Overall, pricy food and drinks. Inconsistent customer service and an above average loud environment. I suspect this would be more fun for kids though.
Fun time but the food is kinda of eh. They have some over the top food ideas but they usually dont end well. The burgers are pretty greasy. The games are great and I usually have a great time. The drinks are a bit on the sweet side not sure if the counts are correct.
The food was tasty, but over-priced. The games were plentiful and exciting, but also overpriced. From what I experienced about ticket payout it was very minimal, and the prizes expensive. Save your money and buy those prizes elsewhere. Our waitstaff was very friendly! Other staff was more concerned with their phones... It was a fun time out, but not a good use of my time with out of town friends.
This is a really fun place for kids and adults. The menu is your typical pub fare. On weekends, it can get super packed and have a long wait, up to an hour, to be seated for dinner. If you grew up with arcades like FYE and other places that have largely gone extinct, youll love it here.
Food is good for a chain, but expensive. The drinks seemed to be watered down, but that is sort of expected since most everything is a fruity mixed drink. The games are mindless fun, but their system of purposefully obscuring the real cost of games by using points is a bit sketchy. If you go, be conscious of how much the games are actually costing you. Other than that, fun way of spending an evening, just be ready to open your wallet.
Myself and 2 others visited this location during their Half Price day, yet still spent a pretty penny and didnt even eat or drink anything. The till attendants Were pretty nice.I find it brutal that D&B started charging a $3 activation charge for new cards. At worse each card costs about what? $0.10 to produce if that. Knowing this I brought with me a couple cards that were from a visit some time ago. Said cards still came up as New tho. In the interest of D&B a lot of their games will be oddly priced. Like hey swipe your card here and play this game for 4.3 or this one for 4.9 chips as an example.Like really? Also their card readers are shotty at best requiring multiple attempts for them to register successfully.Hadnt tried the virtual reality attraction before so we decided to give it a shot. Within 1 minute in, the images started to flip in a non normal fashion and distort themselves never to correct itself during the life of the experience. When it was brought up to the attendants attention she brushed it off starting that it can happen if you move too much, it probably glitched out Ill have to have someone look at it sum odd $20 later. With no attempt to rectify the bad experience, I was better off taking the cash to the parking lot and setting it on fire.
Games were great and staff was friendly. It took us an hour to be seated which was fine, especially with all the games.Unfortunately our food took an hour and half to get. The service was extremely slow overall. We had to ask the staff multiple times for drinks. Our orders were incorrect when they got to the table and they were only able to fix one of them. It took an extended period of time to get our checks as well, even though the section we were seated in was relatively calm. The food was good though, and the staff friendly throughout the process. Ill try it again in hopes the service has improved.
Great food, great games, great family fun. Going in you know your going to spend a good bit of money, but its totally worth every penny. Especially watching your kid(s) having fun. My son LOVED his glow in the dark drink, btw. He still talks about it and its been 2 weeks!! Lol
The games and the environment are great. It gets a little crowded on Wednesday nights because its half price game night so you might end up waiting for some of the more popular games if you go on Wednesday.Other than that most of the games are in good shape and they regularly get new ones to switch things up.The bar is looks good. The selection is pretty good and the bartenders are friendly. There are a few large TVs that usually have sports displayed. The food is tasty but I have had an extended wait for food one or two times. (Thats the main reason I docked them 1 star.)I would recommend them for a fun night out with friends or family.
Kind of a weird vibe. There were kids in the bar area at 11 pm on a weekend. The bar was very crowded. We had an hour wait for a table, but it was fine because we played games and got a drink in that time. The drinks were very sweet and weak, and it is against their policy to make you a Double. table service was a bit slow, and we had two waiters bringing out food with no communication, so half the table would be served and he wouldnt know what was missing. However, once the food got to us, it was pretty delicious! The games are a bit overpriced and gimmickey, but there are some classics to enjoy. Again, the kids running around late at night was weird. Go home its my turn to play mario kart.
Ive been twice and this is more of a chuck e cheese than it is an adult arcade. Went once at night and once during the day and it was packed with Kids both times. The drinks and food are great but more than half the games only last 30 seconds and could only be entertaining to children. Lost my phone there once and they had it in their lost and found so Ive had a good experience with the clientele and employees.
Glad Dave & Busters reopened. Pre-pandemic, this is one our familys favorite places to visit and still is. You do have to wear a mask while on the game floor, no big deal. Drinks are awesome as usual. We havent had a dining experience there yet so I can not comment on the food. We got take out (appetizer) chicken fingers with our drinks (cause of the law now) and let the kids eat them. The bathrooms, unfortunately, are pretty dirty and majority of the stalls do not lock. Other than that, everything was great and we had a blast. Will be back 🙂
Just like the name says, its a fun place to eat and drink. Definitely need a power card of you dont have one! Youll get specials on everything, kinda like in Vegas when you get the casino card! Keep an eye on what specials are on what days as you can sometimes double your play points!Fun for groups, but not really somewhere youd go solo for a drink.
Had a birthday gathering for a family member and took my 7 year old daughter. Everything was great. We arrived at 6pm during a week night and I was able to leave at 730 with eating and playing. App. came out quickly, dinner 10 min. later. The food and play meals are a great deal and the food was better than expected for the price with a large portion. If you have children bring them before 7pm and it is a great family environment. I will be bringing my daughter back in two weeks during spring break on the weekend. I do not understand the many negative reviews I have read.
Waited 40 minutes for a table; okay we get it, it was a busy Saturday night and the place was packed. No big deal. Another 20 minutes after being seated before our waiter showed up for our drink order. He kept suggesting that he could return to take our order even though we were ready and trying to give it to him. He brought the drinks after another long wait but all in open cups and without straws - just the perfect set up for the 3 young children we had with us. He took our order and disappeared. Another long wait and our apps showed up, all cold. Drinks gone, apps eaten everyone bored and hungry, and no waiter in sight, when the manager stopped by to see how we were enjoying our visit. Really? She must have said something because our food was out very soon after that - again cold - except for 1 order that she admitted was never entered. When it did arrive, it was wrong! We came to celebrate our son finally being discharged from the hospital after a long and serious stay. We left 2 & 1/2 hours later after a disappointing meal and not even able to play any of the game with the children. This was our second visit (the first wasnt so great either) and likely our last. My suggestion: Go for the games, avoid the food and service.
Dave & Busters is a blast whether you decide to go alone or with friends, and I appreciate just about every bit of it. The staff are friendly, prices are fair, theyve always got deals going on to help you save some money and their selection of games isnt only variable, but massive. In addition to all the fun to be had with games is the food, which is also pretty great. On a crowded Friday night, my group of four placed our orders and ended up getting them within an hour. The food tasted great, it didnt cost much in comparison to other restaurants and we even stuck around for dessert. The only thing I have against this place is that it seems as if the games, particularly the shooters, are set on the highest possible difficult. This may of course be a business practice in order to ensure people spend more money on the games, but some of them just arent fun because of how cheap they are.Overall, Dave & Busters is fantastic, and I will be here as much as I can. 4★.
Place wasnt terrible, kind of dark and surprisingly loud for it being dead on a weekday afternoon. A little pricey for my likes but for $25 ($23 worth of credits plus a $2 activation) my boyfriend and I enjoyed an hour of games. The way their price per game is set is kind of weird, its x.x credits but we did enjoy ourselves. Tickets won are recorded electronically on the okay card, which is nice. For a once in a while thing, its not a bad deal.
The prices first of all, are quite reasonable considering what you get. I had my nephews 12th birthday party here last weekend and it was great. The $20 on each kids cardngot them about an hour of play, the staff were WONDERFUL, and the food was tasty. My only complaint is the presentation of the cheeseburgers, very sloppy and thrown together. The bar was backed up and I waiter a while for my drink but they did comp it. I would absolutely have a party here and spend money here again. One of the guests had a gluten allergy and they presented a full allergy menu. I am very happy having spent almost $300 on that party.

2022-01-28Giving two stars because the games are AMAZING but if I were just judging by food and service on the restaurant side, zero stars would be more appropriate. Our bartender on Wednesday was rude to say the least. The bar was very sticky and covered in crumbs. We found the cleanest area but asked nicely for them to wipe down the spot after we had been sitting and ordered drinks. The bartender became obviously annoyed and didn’t do it. I let him know about my food allergies and he told me I couldn’t have any of the specialty drinks on the menu (which I knew wasn’t the case because I had dined there before). Finally after more explanation he agreed to make a margarita without triple sec (I’m allergic to oranges), but was strangely put off about the request. After dropping off the drinks he didn’t say anything else or offer menus, so we had to wait and ask a different person for food menus. Eventually the first server came back and we ordered, but he was clearly annoyed about having to take care of us. When our food came, he didn’t provide napkins or silverware until we asked about 5 min after receiving our food. The chicken “tenders” weren’t breaded at all - just strips of chicken, which was the strangest part of the whole experience. The Philly sandwich tasted like someone dropped an entire salt shaker worth of salt in it.My advice - stick to simple drinks if drinking and head somewhere else for food.

2022-04-30Food was great despite getting our order slightly incorrect, it was still delicious. Service was fast. I like the ability to buy credits with dinner. Love that they are using cards instead of actual tokens and tickets now.The arcade is a but dizzying with the number of lights and machines in a small space. One of our children has sound sensitivity. They used headphones to be able to play games and it turned out okay. I couldn’t imagine them actually being busy bc the arcade side is absolutely packed and filled with games. The prizes are predictable arcade prices with a few exceptions. Overall it was a fun experience for our family.P.S. get the boba adult drink. It was delicious.

2022-04-17Went with a large party for a birthday. Service was quick for how many were at our 2 tables. The food was good. I had the Chicken avocado club. It came with fries which were ok. I have high standards for fries. The games were good. No issues. Only saw one machine out of order. There were a lot of the coin pusher machines, which Im not really into. But there were enough old school games to keep me occupied.

2022-01-12Ive been here before but my wife wasnt sure what to expect of an arcade that serves adult beverages(thats how I poorly explained it to her originally). Anyway, we spent a few hours at D&Bs and she was pleasantly surprised. The kids had a good time too. Plenty of games for most age groups. My 3 year old liked ski ball and Mario kart the most.

2022-05-16The food was okay. I ordered the bruchetta and it was good, but Ive had better. My friends loved their meals- one had some sort of chicken and the other had a burger. We also split the giant pretzel, which was great! The atmosphere was pretty loud and I was cold in my seat. Games were fun! Our waiter was awesome, too!

2022-01-23Awesome atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning station on almost every end of the room. Not saturated with people during the day if you have a little one and want to avoid the crowd during these times. The fish fry and voodoo pasta was amazing!!! My servers was amazing as well on 2 separate occasions.

2021-08-30I’m here to talk about D&B’s food in here:They have limited items on menu, but they are so selective. Those items on the menu are popular ones we can find them anywhere, but the way they are making those is different from others. They taste really good and satisfying.I went thrice, and I had chicken parmesan, pasta, wings, truffle fries (special mention) and grilled chicken ciabatta. Except ciabatta everything’s really great and worth the price. They have some unique selection of drinks for kids.Cons:Slow service.Stains on seating and tables.

2022-03-31Horrible customer service. The bar and restaurant that I work at had an “employee night out” and regretfully chose Dave and Busters in Rochester. We are closed on Mondays so we had a large group, around 20 people. To be treated like we were an inconvenience is an understatement. Some were playing games, some were at the bar and some were chatting at a table so it’s not like we were a group of 20 trying to be served at once.We were blatantly ignored and treated incredibly poorly. The female bartender and her manager were rude and did not hide the fact that they did not want to be there and/or they did not want us to be there. I had ordered a Diet Coke and a water and while the water was being poured I asked to change it to a vodka water. The male manager took the water and threw it over his shoulder, smashing to the ground and soaking his coolers. It was awkward and uncomfortable. After trying to order drinks a few other times I gave up and went home, as did many others in our group, but not after we spent almost $500 in gaming cards. I guess you made your money but wow we had a horrible time.Being in the hospitality industry I can understand being overwhelmed with a big group, however, you are in the hospitality industry so you smile and try your best. That’s how you make your money. Bartenders and servers are notorious for over tipping when out and these staff members lost out on a lot of potential money Monday night. The only positive take away was a lesson to our staff members on how NOT to act on the job.

2022-03-04What a GREAT ideal for the entire family!!! An amusement arcade of all sorts of gaming machines for both children & adults; excellent bar drinks & food service for adults. While you let your young gamers exhalt their gaming skills.Family /friends can entertain themselves with good conversation in a clean & well supervised environment.

2022-03-04Not very customer friendly. I called and no one knew if they accepted return growlers. We drove 25 minutes to get there and they dont accept them. I would have not wasted the trip if they could have answered it on the phone. On the phone I was told, I dont know. Yes, I asked to speak to a manager and I was told. Im sorry theyre too busy and nobody can answer your question. I then called the corporate offices in Texas to see what the policy was. Nobody answered the phone so I left a message and absolutely nobody called me back. And that was two weeks ago. No follow-up from the office.
