Dave & Busters in other cities:
Horrible staff. My family and I went to go eat and play so arcade games. We got sat and didn’t get a server for around an hour later. We also got sat at a table that still had plates on it, along with random foods. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and we didn’t get it after waiting for an hour and a half. We decided to leave so we let the hostess know. We explained to her nicely about our situation and she rudely dismissed us. As we were walking out, she decided to yell “Have a nice night!” in a disrespectful way.
My husband and I always have a fun time when we come here for drinks and arcade games. However, the last time we came the womens bathroom straight up STANK. Like, hold your breath, only breathe through your mouth when you need to, type of stench. It was the most bizarre and rancid smell, too! Smelt almost identical to what I’d imagine a cat litter box that hadn’t been changed in years would smell like. Absolutely atrocious.Really not sure what the issue was, because my husband said there was no such issue in the men’s bathroom. I’m thinking it was a total lack of ventilation, because the bathroom was also hot and almost humid… All I know is that I will do everything I can to avoid going into the womens bathroom again when/if we come back!
Food was awful, party of 7 everyone food came out except my daughters. Was told it will be right out. 20 minutes later. Waitress never around. Had to ask others servers for refills, napkins, utensils. Tables around us stayed dirty. Staff clearly standing around on there cell phones. Place has definitely gone down hill. Disappointed!
Went with my friends to get food. Everyone got there food but me. My friends food was cold and they took it back. After an hour of waiting they told us they would give us all a refund. Everyone else got there refund except for me. After weeks I went to ask them about it and they said it would be on my account after about 7 days. Here it is a little over a month and I still have yet to receive it.
This was the second time my wife and I came here to enjoy and nice meal and have some fun. Our first experience we were seated near the back and literally forgotten about to the point of asking multiple times for our drinks and meal. My wife was even served before me, so I had to tell her to eat before her food was ruined. This last time we ordered the pepperoni Flatbread pizza, which had small pieces of white plastic in it. My wife ordered a margaritas and wasnt asked how she wanted it at all. When it came it was a regular one with salt settled at the bottom so thats all you could taste. My steak salad was supposed to have no candied pecans or croutons with a medium well steak. Instead, my steak was so over cooked and dry, but I also had everything I didnt want in it. The manager came to take a look into the appetizer issue and instead of being friendly and caring, he judged us by our appearance, said, oh Ill take this off your bill then, and disappeared. The hospitality was not great by any means. Im officially over trying here ever again and want to tell everyone to make sure you always check your food before you eat. The waitress has no clue what she was doing. Kept serving the wrong drinks to my wife. Didnt do anything. Had us waiting 15 minutes for our second drink, then said she was having it made by her third stop by. When we finally got our bill the mistakes werent taken care of so she left to fix them, then came back minutes later to say she was getting her manager to take care of it. I was planning on having a good and fun time, but that was officially ruined for both of us. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!
I come here at least once a month to have fun with my family and friends. The last 2 times we visited, we had horrible experiences!! Both times related to dining! The 1st time (in early March), we were seated and waited for over 30 minutes to have a server come to our table. During this time, there were 5 tables around us who were seated after us who got drinks and appetizers and food orders. One of them from who we later discovered was OUR SERVER!! We spent over an hour waiting for our food and finally only saw our server to tell her that our order was wrong when it was time to ask for the check 45 minutes later. The check took another 20 minutes to arrive after that. Our 2nd visit on 4/16 was more of the same, but a different server. The managers made things right both times thats why there arent fewer than 3 stars. There are some SERIOUS problems on the dining side of the house that need attention.
5 stars for the food. Im not sure why this place gets such bad reviews for food. I had the chicken avocado sandwich, hubby had some bacon burger, and my youngest had the chicken tenders. All was delicious and perfectly cooked. The waitress didnt check on us, and we had to track someone down for the check. Not a huge deal, but dont expect an 18% tip on that performance. Just saying. Other than that little hiccup, the staff was all really friendly.I gave 4 stars because I know I had to swipe my card more than once to play some games. So I think it took more than it should. I think some were asking too many tokens also. Idk. Seems 415 tokens should last longer... I will return, though. I had a blast.
Who doesn’t love an arcade? If you’re going to one it’s because you love them and if you love them then 5 stars is the only possible score! I wish the games were a little more affordable but it is what it is, everything’s expensive everywhere. Great selection of games.
Terrible service..I understand places are short staffed but this place is a perfect example of why everyone is short staffed. There more interested in there phones than there job..the TVs had on soccer and wrestling I thought they featured sports. Not one TV had a real sport not recommended to come hear at all. Overpriced and lousy service
It was terrible it seemed like everyone had attitude the food was cold our drinks was watered down for $15 a drink they couldve did better. It was first time there n the last. Thanx but no Thanx Dave n Buster never again n I brought my kids there for they Birthday n they didnt really enjoy it.
Tl;dr: Manager was rude to a person with disabilities. Will never give this place my money.I brought a friend here (that has developmental disabilities) so they could ask about an interview they had there a few weeks prior. The manager we were met with ended up saying well, we already filled that slot. Ok, understandable. The problems started when my friend asked what he should do now. The manager then proceeded to say well, thats not really my problem. Thats something you have to deal with.Talks keep going. My friend saying he was so excited to get a chance there, to which the manager said I never made any commitment to you. This wouldnt have been as bad if he didnt say it like 3 times and worded it better. The manager then proceeds to say this has nothing to do with me, so Im ending this conversation. Have a good day.If this is how he treats people with disabilities, I couldnt image how he is with typical people.
Its a bit of a drive for me, but I stop by 2-3 times a year. The kids loves it, and for the adults theres plenty of screens and TVs to view major sporting events. A wide selection of beers to choose from and their cocktails are amusing to look at and tasty. Food menu is equally vast, and I havent been disappointed yet.Wednesdays all games are half off, and, due to that fact, D&B does not accept coupons for recharging power cards.
We were there during a weekday, and was surprised to find it almost full.Great bar but the staff had a couldnt-care-any-less attitude. The food came a little late, so that kind of fuelled our hunger. So, we kind of liked what we got .The price is slightly to the higher side (not much, but then anything in or from a mall is bound to be a bit more expensive than outside the mall). Great time killer for kids, although even that is slightly pricy (so be prepared to spend if your kid is a gamer). Weekends are usually very crowded and you might have to wait for almost two hours before you get seated. The best day to be here is on a Wednesday when everything is half priced (but that wouldnt guarantee better service).Well, we had an okay experience. Not a big fan of the place.
A lot of the games were out of order my last three visits, this place used to be better. Its great for games but the food is terrible and overpriced. Dont even bother trying to order a drink here. The best thing to do is use coupons through the week and return on Wednesday when the games are half priced.
Came here to eat new years eve & was extremely disappointed with the dining experience. We had a party of 10 and our waitress I believe keyanna was her name, was extremely rude and lacking any customer service skills, we were waiting to be served until she finally came over and told us to order through QR code, we asked many times for menus and to have her take our order not through the qr code but she never did.Food came out one at a time 15 minutes apart for a party of ten.We noticed on our bill at the end of the night that we were charged for an extra drink and the waitress said Im telling you that I brought out 2 drinks when she clearly didnt.Really unfortunate because all the other employees seemed at least nice. Why you would send your worst waitress to a party of 10 is beyond me .Cannot recommend this place seems to be falling apart.
Twice in the same week I’ve come here to enjoy a meal and games with family members. The first time we came up to the small podium to get a seat and the woman standing there kept her head down looking at the iPad like device and didn’t acknowledge us at all. After saying hello a couple times we started looking at the games counter and started to go there. They immediately sent us back. Finally the woman looked up and instead of asking us how many just walked us to a table close by and disinterestedly pointed at the barcode on the table for the menu. When we scanned it, it had someone’s unpaid order still on it. So we waited. No one came by so we got up and left. The next time we came no one was even at the podium. 3 young ladies at the games counter kept looking at us but did not offer to help or to say someone would be up soon. We waited at least 5 minutes. It was around 1:30 on Sunday and the restaurant portion was not busy. Eventually one of the ladies came over and sat us. With trepidation I scanned the barcode and thankfully there was no previous bill. A gentleman brought us water and checked on us throughout the meal. Ordering on my phone was great. It’s so easy to split a check that way. My chicken sandwich was tasty your Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had. We played games after and had a great time. Please get your giant claw game fixed soon. It’s my wife’s favorite. With friendlier, attentive service I would give you 5 stars. Teach your team members to acknowledge people. Even if it’s busy that goes a long way. It’s worth the wait.
First time to Dave and Busters. First off, I want to say if you have any sensitivity to light and sound, you may want to bring sunglasses and earplugs. Or, stay away from the arcade. It can be overwhelming because its very loud, with a lot of different noises and lights. Im lucky I got used to it, but at first I was overwhelmed by it all.Second, the food was delicious. I had the siracha chicken pasta. We got the smallest amount of digital tokens and it lasted a while, but if I had the time I would get more tokens and go for bigger prizes.
Fun for all ages at Dave and Buster’s. What tops this great menu is all the games and activities while you are here. Steaks, burgers, shrimp, whatever you fancy can be had here. They have plenty of game, appetizers and drinks with special prices. You will love to bring the entire family here for sure.
Took my granddaughter and her from their for her birthday and while they were playing I sat at the at the bar waited to see if someone would approach me ALL WHITE employees one young girl approached the white couple next to me asking them have they been helped and of course they had been, and she preceded to walk away until I hollered out and said I havent, SMH took my order black girl brought my food out uncovered with a million people Walking around and NO ONE NEVER CAME BACK TO ME TO CHECK ON ME AS THEY WERE DOING OTHER PEOPLE OR TO EVEN TAKE A PAYMENT! I know for a fact I could have walked out that place with know question, even the guy that took over before I left IGNORED ME! THE workers are very RASCIST and I will never spend my money there again Its sad the customer service a black American citizen received during black history month and some children being taught ignorance I seen while my granddaughter was trying to enjoy her birthday sad!
Was told 25-35 minutes to be seated. We waited 80 minutes and then we were told they didnt have a high chair for my daughter. They said we have a booster seat, but I dont know how safe that would be. Come for the games but dont stay for the food. Owner reached out with a canned reply on my Yelp review and asked for feedback and have a broken link.. 2 thumbs down
The family stopped here Saturday after a poor experience inside Apex Friday. The food was tasty and plenty of staff from the front door greeting us to the servers at the booth. Four stars because we had great food(took 20 minutes) but the game room area had problems at times. The staff at the prize area were helpful each time we came up about an issue. We will visit again as we loved the fire grilled steak and BBQ ribs.
We sat at a booth and was watching the dust fall from the light! Took over 45 minutes to get our apps. ( wings, bruschetta and 2 kids Mac n cheese! All which were COLD when they arrived to our table! Only to have our dinner arrive about 5 minutes after the apps! Also not HOT! Took over 15 minutes to even get our drinks! The restaurant was not busy either only half the restaurant was full @ 7 at night!
I was dissapointed with the restaurant and arcade experience. The cards for the arcade rarely was accepted the 1st swipe. Many games I gave up on and skipped altogether. The arcade are is littered with half full glasses of beverages and other garbage. The menu looks like it could be very good. The chicken sandwich I ordered wasnt terrible. My wife said her salad was average. The fries were cold and under a heat lamp for some time. My wife ordered a frozen margarita, it came to the table as a regular one. The server took it back, but instead of re-making the drink, the bartender blended ice and added it. Overflowing the glass and rinsing all the salt off the rim. They did take the cocktail off the bill and replace it with a different one.On the plus side, the bloody mary is awesome! Very spicy and tasty. That was my favorite part of my visit.
Not liking this place at all. My husband and I have tried giving this place multiple chances. The service is slow and the food lacks any flavor or consistency. First my broccoli came out raw, then when reordered, it came out drenched in butter and cream which makes o sense. My steak was ok but my mash potatoes lacked seasoning and it came out cold. The drinks were over priced considering that you couldnt even taste the alcohol. We asked our waitress if we could buy an extra shot for our drinks, and she said that that wasnt possible. Her explanation was that the bartenders could do that. For $92.00 this place isnt worth the food or the drinks, head to world of beers instead.
Wow! One of the worst dining experiences of my life! And believe me, I went in with low expectations, because it’s Dave & Buster’s. This whole scan to order online or see a menu thing needs to stop!!! Personally, I hate having my phone out in a restaurant AND especially to look up and order my food. There is no sense of service because basically no one wants to talk to you besides to drop off your food….terrible. I understand the waiters’ possible temptation to leave your customers out there in cyber space, but come on…we are still tipping(or you should be hoping we will). Check in on your customers. Know who they are. Know what they ordered. Do something to be present!! And besides that the food was horrible. Burnt hamburger. Cold tenders. And it took forever. Totally left me with that dreaded feeling of “I’m never eating out again!” Just a touch more effort in the dining room and kitchen could change everything. Start to care.
If I could give this zero stars, I would. Terrible experience here. Waited 15 minutes for the server to come and help us (we had questions about the menu). We didn’t get our drinks until someone had brought us 1/2 of the food that was ordered and noticed we didn’t have anything to drink. The chicken tenders are terrible, they have a rubbery texture to them and were extremely hard to bite into. After waiting another 15 minutes for the other half of the food that was ordered, we asked how much longer it would be and the server said she would find out for us and never came back to the table. This was only the second time we had seen her. We had to flag someone else down to ask if we could cancel the other meal and pay for the terrible food that was brought to us so that we could leave and go somewhere else. It took another 20 minutes for someone to come over to us so that we could pay, and they had finally brought us the second meal that we had politely said we don’t want anymore. The manager seemed offended and mad at us that we were upset about the long wait and terrible service. We will not be going back to Dave and Busters ever.
Server, Jessica was very rude and inattentive. I came in tonight with a party of 9 for my birthday, and she seemed very annoyed with the fact that we were ordering drinks and that we had 9 people.we told her at the beginning that we were all on separate checks; but at the end of the meal she came to the table and ask us to separate everything for her. She barely checked on us at all. We all had empty glasses and not once did she ask if anyone needed or wanted another drink. My friends drink didn’t taste right, so she told the server who did nothing about it, but then went to the manager and bartender who fixed it with no problem. Then once we got food, I didn’t like my food, so I said to her that it was too salty for me, and that I wanted to send it back; she told me that she couldn’t take them back since I ate one wing out of the four I was served. Someone in my party then went to get the manager because I was upset and the manager took care of it with no issues. It’s just upsetting that a server was rude and inattentive on a day that my friends tried to make special for me. A very off putting experience for me to say the least. I was very upset with the entire experience. The bartender was very nice, as was the manager, but I was very upset with the server. She also seemed very irritated that we wanted separate checks and that someone brought a cake for me. Was not very pleased with this because it’s my birthday so I wanted to have a good day. But whatever, it is what it is.
Although Ive never been inside a D&B before, my first time here was an amazing time! I can best describe this as an adult Chuck E. Cheeses, to bring up my childhood. This place has all the newest arcade games from all different genres, ensuring that everyone can find something they love. Prizes are pretty standard for any upscale arcade, but I think the reason so many people come here is for the group entertainment experiences. If youre in the mall with a few hours to kill, be sure to stop by!If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. It would be greatly-appreciated!
My kids love it here but I was disappointed by how many games were out or order last time we went. My daughter is 5 so she mainly likes the claw machines - the huge claw one was down which was a let down and the other one she wanted to do was also down. My boys (13 & 10) and the friends they brought had more than enough to do tho!
They are always getting new games and keep everything working, clean, and ready to go. Love that you can go Wednesday for half off games. Fun for the whole family. Its easy to get engrossed in the excitement and spend a lot of time trying out different games. They seem to stay pretty busy! Glad they could finally reopen.
Wait staff were horrible. They did nothing to make the dining experience enjoyable. The kitchen completely overlooked one of our meals and it was never cooked. The only reason I give this 2 stars was because the manager took the missed meal off the bill and still gave our party the meal. Food is below average at best. We will never return for another terrible experience at this establishment.
My visit at Dave and Buster’s this past week was the worst experience of my entire life. I’m telling you right now, if you walk in and the dark skinned, heavy set young woman with short dyed hair is in there, RUN. I cannot believe that Dave and Buster’s has hired such a rude person and that she continues to work there. What’s weird is she’ll start out kindly, but then she’ll berate and insult you about a minute into the interaction. Maybe a mental illness or anger issues of some sort. Either way, I cannot believe that she’s allowed to work there! I tried talking to the manager and reached out to the complaint team, and nothing was done. Look into who you hire @the owner. To customers, if you’re looking for a fun and positive experience, look elsewhere. Not only will your night be ruined, but nothing will be done about it.
After a long hour wait to get a table. Which we were expecting. It then took 15 minutes to get drinks. We ordered not long after receiving drinks. After 45 minutes of waiting. I received my wings. My kids did not get anything. We were then informed that they did not have any kids Mac and cheese. My kids are starving at this point. My Gf received her food 10 minutes after we found out about the kids food. Took another 20 minutes to get the kids food. Not happy with this experience. We will never come back.
Went to this location on July 13 with my wife and 4 daughters.service was good. Food and drinks were good. Played games after. Well we left just before close and it takes about 45 minutes to get back to Utica where we live and from about 11 oclock that night untill Thursday my wife throwing up and had extreme diharea. Come to find out my wife had food poisoning and has just started to get over it today on Friday the 16th is just starting to feel better. My wife ordered the veggie plate with a side of steak and we will not be attending this David n Busters again we spent 120$ on our food and drinks and left a 20$ tip for the waitress then spent another 30$ on games. Very disappointing. Thankfully it wasnt serious or we would be having a completely different conversation.
When I walked in the door the person working said Welcome to Dave and Busters, we are the Chucky Cheese for adults. Sweet I thought, I can enjoy some childish antics without being overwhelmed by young ones! There were easily more children under the age of 10 than adults!!! The food was about as average as McDonalds. I ordered a burger and fries, and I would not do so again. The games were really kind of pricey considering other arcades. For four people we easily spent 175 dollars in less than an hour.ON A POSITIVE NOTE!The wait staff was fantastic, very friendly, very attentive, kind and just pleasant! They also have a decent selection of games to play.
The drinks are great the games are very fun and clean. Just dont expect to sit down to eat. We ordered nachos without sour cream it came covered with sour cream. We got it corrected and they covered it with a sour cream based cheese. On-top of that the waiter asked me to try it and it looked like it was sitting out for weeks. I will never order food from there again. The dinner was good but the portion was appetizer size and took forever.
So Ill say this its a great date night location, and it can be really fun if you have friends to meet up with. The food is pretty much your standard chain restaurant food, and they have unique drink options. All in all their selling point is the games, and the ability to socialize through these games while dining. Its also great for parents who want a way to entertain their kids while they eat.
Very good visit. Sarah was a fantastic waitress. Very busy place on a Friday. Lots of sports to look at if you like food with the tube. Delicious meal, cooked very well. Desert on Sarahs recommendation was very good as well. Game playing was a little lackluster. Too many ticket games and very few head to head play games. We got bored very quickly on the games front.
Fun date night location!Love the vodka snow cone bar drinks and their food is a junk food cheese filled heaven. Great place to meet friends after a day in the mall or to go for some meals and arcades. Not cheap but not overly priced. Can comfortably spend $40-60 between drinks and tokens. Lots of deals available if you dine and play.
Food was excellent. Its a little one the pricey side but we enjoyed playing games and eating there were lots of games to play. It was very clean and the workers were very honest and kind. We lost a bag and they were quick to help us find it. Cant wait to go back again! Both adult and kid friendly.
Dave and Busters T destiny has been a number one hangout for me since it opened in 2013. The bartenders have always been friendly including Desi, evereEte years ago and now lorenz and other newbies. The food is delicious especially seafood Alfredo. Not to mention the games. I am a veteran Pacman player so sometimes I go there just to play the PAC man arcade machine. It was very nice to keep that there to benefit make a wish foundation. That machine is a keepsake and I hope its never taken out. It was the best surprise this year when I found the door open again finally!
Went on a Friday night, had about a 30 minute wait. Management looked like they got involved to get the process.moving along and we didnt end up waiting as long as we were originally reported. Great games be prepared for the young adult crowd and clear the kids out by about 730 if you have them out on the weekend.Adults, great beer selection food and mixed drinks. Games that you can play as groups. Be mindful of the kids when you are out.
This is a great place for kids and adults, with its numerous arcade games and its modern and flashy bar / dining / TV area. The main downside is that the food was a bit dry and bland when I had it last year at a large group work function. Perhaps it has improved with time.Overall, this is a great choice for a night of games and fun, if not perhaps for a meal.
Ridiculous, the person at the counter said we wouldn’t have that long of a wait while we purchased our cards, get to the servers station to be told they only have 1 server and they were going on break we would have to wait an hour and a half to be seated! Unacceptable service!
Been going since they opened. Had dinner there once service was eh took forever overcooked food but hey its more for games and a bar. Theyre games are great and always thought their bar service was until yesterday. Got 3 beers at the bar total was $17 something. Gave her a $20. The bartender (30s maybe younger female) put the $20 in the register and walked away went to the next customer. She did assumed I guess that was her tip? Pretty rude. I was standing there In shock her coworker said everything Okay? I said no explained the situation he said hed talked to her. I walked away and I looked over and he is talking to her about it she points at me and laughs hysterically. Yeah totally unprofessional. Hope the general manager sees this review. At least the games were fun and the beer tasted good.
Over the weekend we enjoyed both of our daughters birthdays at Dave and Busters and I was so impressed with the staff and the food. There was always a staff member near by for any questions we had and even when we didnt reach out to them they were on top of everything asking if we needed anything. The cost of the part was a bit pricey but really anywhere you go now of days is a bit pricey for the special Birthday party event...The food was all fresh and there was plenty to feed the birthday kids and adults with some left over especially with the huge burgers. I would recommend this place to others as I didnt have to worry about anything except the cake...the kids had a blast and staff was awesome thank you for a great time.
Food was cold. refused to eat mine Over 10 minutes between 2 people getting food and other 3 at table. Waitress did not offer refills for drinks. We were there almost two hours and had to ask for a refill and waitress brought back one drink. One dinner was returned and took another 25 minutes to get a replacement burger. Manager stated it was busy due to fight night. The place was empty in the dining area. Save your money and go someplace else. Could not leave a tip for such bad service. First time ever!!!!.
The games are fun and diverse. Fun for adults and kids... Classic and new games. The TVs show sports from wide variety...but... The food is average quality and overpriced. I had a chicken sandwich and I got a single chicken tender on a huge bun for $12. I wont go for food again, will def return for games and drinks
Some of the worse customer service by the manager Kaley or I believe thats how you spell it. She was rude and totally ignored me and other customers. Totally unprofessional. She walked up the entry register making it look like shes to help me so I walked up She looked at me then look back down. Another employee took care of me but the manager definitely dropped the ball and need to take a class on simply saying... Im sorry but an employee will be right with you instead of completely ignoring me. Just rude.
The food is generally on point. Service the past couple times has been meh. The first three times we went it was perfect. Seated quick and food came hot and fast. The last couple times were not so great. Slow service and Id say just poor management. I am in food myself so I understand if its super busy but there were many empty tables. This last time was the absolute worse. Checked in at 701 was told about 15 mins for a table which was fine so I took my kids to the games 45 mins later I went to check in and they were like right this way I was like um OK but I never got a message. They didnt seem to care at all. Then we get seated and like 15-20 mins later a waitress finally came over and was like have you been helped. Im like nope and was honestly about to leave but she saved the day. Over an hour for drinks is just not acceptable. She was never notified of us being seated nor do i think it was her section but she stepped up and was amazing. Management seemed to care less when she told her. She rushed our food an dit was good but again with a 6 year old and one year old I wasnt super thrilled waiting over an hour to even put our drink order in. My mom has never been and unfortunately dont think she will again after that.
Good fun with a decent arcade selection. I would say they need more gamer like arcades instead of the huge more interactive ones but I guess thats a preference. Its just that every arcade is some type of gimmick to make it fun intead of just a joystick and buttons with great game play. The food is actually great though if you like regular bar style food with a twist or change up. Its definitely a good time but not a place for younger kids maybe kids just about to be teens or older would be a good age but no younger I would say. But again it is a good time although the games here tend to be a bit pricey and they have you load them on to a credit card type thing and when you play a game you swipe the card to play each one. Which is good and bad, good because you dont have a pocket full of useless coins jingling around but you spend it pretty quickly as you are just swiping a card and not really paying attention to what you have left on your card or if you dont use it all up now you have another piece of plastic in your wallet. Which Ive lost so many of. All in all a good change of pace for a group outing of fun
Went there for dinner tonight and to play games with my daughter. Service was absolutely horrible. Same as last time we were there. A manager came to take our drink order and said our server was very busy so I am taking your order. First of all a server should never be too busy to at least walk by and greet a table by at least acknowledging that they are there and you will be right with them. My appetizer came after. my meal and the manager said that the kitchen burned them which I completely understand and I wasent upset about that at all. I was upset that we waited and we went told about it until after our dinner arrived. The girl that was work in ng the desk up front was so wonderful and nice she should get a raise.
Fun and tasty. Kids love it and parents can too if you want to fork out the money to play. Wait staff fill the spectrum from miserable to awesome. The method of payment is unusual due to the inconsistent cost of games with no understandable correlation to dollars, but thats the contemporary way. I miss the old arcade games for a quarter. In any case, the fam can have a great time with decent food at a moderate cost.
Worst experience I have ever had. It took 45 minutes fit drinks. 1hr 30 for food. Needless to say with 3 kids this was awful. They had one waiter for entire place. Lost our food at one point. Guess it was given to another table. The food we got was a mess. Not sure I would ever go back. At least for food. Games were fun but half were out of service and the redemption line took forever. Again with kids not a good thing.
EDITED TO ADD: I filled out the form as recommended below and no one was ever in touch further. It has been about a month so I highly doubt the local team or the company in general cares at all. Pretty clear that their comment below was simply to take away from bad publicity.I would give zero stars if I could. I took my two boys a few days ago here as a fun way to end their winter break. It turned out to be anything but. We waited to be seated. Not a big deal, I expected that. But once we finally were seated, we waited quite a while for the waitress to come take our drink order. By the time she arrived we were ready to put in our entire order. Again, no big deal, I have a lot of patience. We went to play games. About 1 out of every 3 games took our cards and then didnt work. They would freeze or crash while in the middle of playing. Each time we hunted down someone to help us because Im sorry but at nearly 9 tokens a game I want my tokens back if a game doesnt work! It was entirely frustrating and disappointing and I KNOW we lost so many tickets and tokens we never got back. Ex. The chicken game, the game where the claw drops and picks up ticket rings. Just to name a few. In between trying to play games that didnt work and hunting down associates to help us, I was checking for our food between every single game. We went and sat down just as it arrived but it was warm at best. My kids didnt want to eat it and were throwing a fit that it was disgusting (cant say I blamed them) and by the time someone came back to see how it was I was so annoyed I just asked for our check. Frustrated with spending nearly $100 on cold food and broken games I told the kids we were going to cash out and go. They used the very LITTLE tickets they had (even though I spent a small fortune on tokens) to buy little balloon animals that come with a straw and are supposed to inflate. They immediately opened them after checking out and tried to inflate them as we were walking out. Neither could do it. I tried. My husband tried. We spent 20 minutes trying to inflate the balloons. I dont know if we had defective ones or what but they did not work. My kids were crying. I took their prizes back inside and told the man behind the counter I am sorry but we tried for 20 minutes to blow these up, they dont work, can we please get our tickets back? Looking at the two crying kids by my side, the guy working behind the counter actually said to me, well I wish you would have said something before you opened them and used them. SERIOUSLY!??!?!?!?! HOW ELSE WOULD WE HAVE KNOWN THEY DIDNT WORK!!!!! We got our tickets back and got the hell out of there. I said to a few employees how frustrated and unhappy we were with the entire experience. Nothing was done. Not one associate cared in the slightest about their awful service. Everything from the food, to the games, to the prizes was a letdown. My kids were heartbroken to leave empty handed and hungry. I was beyond annoyed. It turned out to be an awful, awful way to spend our final day of vacation. My word of advice- save your money and go anywhere but here.
Came for the Arcade, it was fun! I enjoyed being in the crazy atmosphere. It almost felt like time slowed down and sped up at the same time. I found it a little odd you couldnt eat in the dining room unless your entire party was over 18 if you didnt have someone over 25 with you.. Maybe next time ill try the food
I am not rating the games, but the staff. We came in on Wednesday at 10AM for my sons birthday, we had one of those Groupon vouchers and were told they cannot be activated until 12pm given that its half price 10am to 12pm. I purchased a $30 dollar card which lasted about 45 min for two boys. We left and came back at 12PM only to find out you cannot use the voucher on Wednesdays. I was not happy, not because of not being able to use the voucher but because I spent last two hours waiting. The assistant district manager helped us out a great deal, which he didnt have to do. The cashier responds she didnt realize it was Wednesday. Either way, we were able to have a decent time.
Games take a lot of points off of your card per turn, with what seems minimal payout. One can drop 50 dollars easily with planning on a fun afternoon out and be down in under 30-45 minutes no problem. The games do get changed out slowly but not enough to keep my familys renewed interest in returning given the steep prices.
After what started as a wonderful experience for my son’s 11th birthday, the waiter got offended because my husband was upset over a 45 minute wait on part of our large order. The manager, Jenn, was there to buffer the situation and ensure we were satisfied and gave great customer service. Jenn even found me in the game room to give $10 gift cards on future visit after the server displayed such attitude. He has great potential, passionate and a hard worker. He just has to learn that you have to respect the customer, have thick skin and learn when to shut your mouth and just smile. Thank God for Jenn
My first ever visit. The games were awesome! The food was okay.I was disappointed that we sat at a table and were ignored. We got up and headed to front to ask about service, and then they sat us at same table lol... server was friendly.Ny strip was over seasoned, with rub I think, but they do cook to order. I said medium rare, and it was perfect.Staff knocked a drink onto my sweet daughter, and she froze the rest of lunch. They did give us a discount for the error, and were very apologetic. Bathrooms smelled lovely, which was a pleasant surprise. My favorite thing was the vr experience of Jurassic world!I would visit the gaming center again, but not the restaurant part.
This is a great place to go have fun. The arcade games are fair, though some can be expensive, with enough skill and game selection, you can walk out with thousands of points to spend on prize selection. As with any arcade, the prizes are hit or miss, but theyre not bad. Plenty of unique items to choose from. The drinks can be expensive, so if you plan on drinking, go during happy hour, and dont plan on winning many of the skill games. I like the food, but Ive heard others complain about it. Overall, a good way to spend the night.
If youre not a fan of LOUD areas, this is not a place you want to go to. Music is loud. Kids CAN be loud on the arcade floor. Everything on the menu tastes delicious-even the salads. Most of the drinks are good too. Establishment, recently did away with part of their menu however. This is why I gave them 4 stars versus a 5-star rating. Dave & Busters needs to bring back their full menu once again. As too many of my favorites are now GONE FROM THE MENU.
3 out of 3 times the food has taken over an hour. It may be a part of the strategy so you go play games to appease your kids. Staff is friendly, food is mediocre, drinks are overpriced. *Appreciate the response D&B, no need for me to call your number just step up your game : ) .
Waited 45 minutes for food. Ordered an appetizer. Then entrees. Received the appetizer after the entrees showed. Took it home cause really whats the point? My sliders were cold but at that point are it anyway cause there was no way I was waiting longer. Manager was very nice and took the appetizer off the bill.
It was a lot of fun to spend time here. The wife and I had a blast. 2 minor complaints though. First a lot of the games were kinda broken. Like some of the buttons didnt work, or it didnt give you the tickets it was supposed to. Second it was very expensive. Between food drinks and game cards we probably spent $200. I dont think either of those things would stop us from going again, but theres room for improvement.
My Bud draft was flat, but I was able to change it to a bottle no problem. The wifes pineapple slice w/her Danger Water Island blue drink looked gross, like it was going bad from the outside in. We just got rid of it.Food was otherwise fine and the kids had a blast with the games; no complaints there.
Weve been there many times. This time didnt go well. We brought another 6 adults with us after raving about how good it eased. After being told an hour wait at 3:30 when Trying to make reservations for 4:30. They lost our reservation after a two hour wait. As long as the place is full who cares?
Today was horrible.. the food was so not worth the money.. they automatically up charge your food and the waitress forgot to tell me. The steak was soo chewy and all fat. The waitress forgot our drinks and walked by us several times. This is the second time within a month I have.been there and the last time they brought out the appetizer with 1/2 of the ingredients missing because they ran out .. shouldnt have sold that appetizer then instead of bringing it out half done and charge the full price!!!. Not impressed at all and wont be going back. Worst $100 I have ever spent on lunch!!!!!
Im sure it was a one time thing but the service eating was pretty bad. We were sat at a table quickly which was good. The server was the issue. We ordered drinks and food all at same time. Took over 20 minutes to get drinks and one of the drinks was wrong and took about another 15 minutes to get the correct drink.
Restaurant was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Fives All Around appetizer and were very impressed with the taste and how quickly it came out to our table.I ordered the Triple Bacon Burger which boasts 3 different kinds of bacon on a single 1/3lb patty with cheese and lettuce. I have 2 minor complaints about the dish: I asked for it to je cooked medium-rare but it came out well-done, and the burger only had 2 strips of bacon in the burger and the 3rd tooth-picked to the bun. Other than that it was delicious.Arcade was also a great time and not too packed considering it was a Friday night. All in all a great experience and will definitely be going back soon.
Worst. Experience. Ever. If negative stars were an option, they would be deserving of that. As all can see, this is my first and likely only review because I typically don’t air my complaints to others. This place however warrants a review. I’ll keep it short, my infant child was/is in the hospital battling cancer but my wife and were able to find a family member to watch the baby so we could celebrate our 6 year daughter’s birthday for a short time. We could all use the cheer, so we thought what better place than Dave & Busters, but this place only added to our misery. The waiter assigned to us only showed interest in us when it came time to pay the bill and tip. This person only wanted to upsell us and was relentless in his greed. We went most of dinner without drinks, our orders were wrong or incomplete, some were even cold. This waiter concentrated more on their dance skills and conversations with friends at the bar than the people he was supposed to take care. As horrific as having a child battle cancer, this memory will stick with me for a very long time. I attempted to contact D & B customer service and sent an email, but to no avail. THEY SIMPLY DONT CARE ABOUT FAMILY.
I generally dont like to go unless I know Ill have time for games, but recently I went just to eat dinner and it was great. Always has a good atmosphere. And as far as the games are concerned, there are the 4-5 that I look forward to every time. I am most surprised at how often they add new games; very helpful.
Didnt eat here just took my kid to the arcade. As far as the games go it was a blast. I even had fun.Wednesday is half price day which is when we went. We spent a total of 30 dollar and played for about 1.5 hours, but that was done by avoiding the higher priced games. And doing that is quite difficult as you have to get a card (which requires a $2 activation, but it doesnt expire) and then you pay your money for credits which doesnt equate to quarters, then the games dont always take even amounts of credits.the cheapest games cost about 30 cents on half price day if i did the math right.but on the bright side many games pay out credits that you can use for prizes, and the prizes are quite good.I cant say my experience was normal but we hit two jackpots while there and my son walked away with about $15 real world money worth of merchandise for our $30 dollars spent.Definitely a great experience, but it could be a little pricey.
First time i went to D&Bs it was an absolute awesome experience, food, service and fun was all excellent. This was my second visit and this time i brought my kids, first i want to say theres no sign indicating whether you seat yourself or wait for a hostess to seat you, also the person at the front computers doesnt even acknowledge u are there until youre in their face, a greeting would be nice just so the guest knows you know have arrived. Anyways we were seated within 5 minutes and within another 5 the server(cant remember his name) was at the table to take a drink order and offer to take food, we needed just another minute but when we did order we ordered food and drink at the same time, 2 kids grape drinks with gummy worms and 1 coffee for mysself, i am not exaggerating when i say it was almost 20 minutes before drinks were brought to the table and when he brought my kids drinks my coffee still wasnt ready, i waited another 5 for coffee. I didnt make a big deal of it because the server was nice and i mysself am a server and tend to have more patience in those situations. We did order game cards with our meals which werent brought to the table until we were almost done eating. Food was good no complaints there, server was very friendly and i didnt notice any games not working. This place could definitely benefit from a few changes to seating and expoing food and drinks. Maybe some more experienced servers or hostesses would definitely do u a world of good and it wouldnt hurt to keep some condiments on the tables, kind of annoying not to have at least salt, pepper or ketchup lol thats just weird but anyways i do like dave and busters and will be back but u guys should definitely make some changes.
I love this place its great to bring kids or even hang out with your buddies at the bar to watch games. it doesnt cost a lot of money and if you go on a Wednesday night its all half price on all video games. The food is good and the staff there are always trying to help make your experience there a little more pleasant.
We visited this location on a day trip to DestinyUSA. It was huge, and the credits were really cheap. The cards are easy to use, and there wasnt really many lines for the machines. Its a very entertaining arcade, and from what I can remember, the food is pretty good too. Also, you get some really good deals when you join the rewards, which in my experience, is not common for arcades. KEEP YOUR CARDS, by the way... Reuse them when you go back.
Horrible service. They are under staffed which causes a huge back up and when it was brought to the managements attention on more than one occasion no interest was shown in making any improvements. The food is over priced for what its worth and the waiters/waitresses are taking the brunt of it from frustrated customers. Is this what we should expect for customer service as a regular paying patron? Very disappointing.
Where do I begin. The service was terrible by our waitress. How many times do I need to ask for napkins, silverware, drink refills and our Check. I know she was trying and Im not sure if she was new or not but seriously now dont disappear on us. My burger was overcooked and I ate it because I didnt want to wait for another one and you would think that something would have been done for it. I am a waiter so like I made sure she got at least 15% because I believe in karma. I dont know if this place believes in pre bussing and if you do then our waitress needs to be taught it. I have been to another Dave and Busters in Rochester and the service was excellent except here. My friend told me before we went in that we should have gone somewhere else and I said no and at the end she was right. Play the games here and eat somewhere else.
Its quite expensive to buy credits to play games there. The games give awards in the form on virtual tickets that go on your card. The items your can buy with the tickets are overpriced. I effectively paid $30 for something that should cost at most $5. And I got the bonus of blowing out my eardrums with the experience too!
We had a great time! The food and deserts yummy!..make sure you bring enough money though..it was our first time going and my biggest concern was that it would be good for all ages..I have kids all ages the youngest 8..we had so much fun!..they even have Pacman and Galaga (Hello old school just for me) We will definitely go back
I give this place 3 starts only because of the games and drinks. The food is horrible and prices are way to high for what you get. Ive been to this place 5 times already and I try something different on the menu each time and its a disappointment everytime. Bar is great. Drinks come quick and they are reasonably priced and are really good. But food takes 45 minutes to come out even when there isnt many people. Need to check chef staff imo.
Bunch of games designed to suck coins away. Very unclear pricing. Staff was not friendly at all. People at the front should at least some and welcome you. I know you cant be on all the time, but dont give people a hard time because theyve never been before. We had a $50 gift certificate for our three kids and they wouldnt split the points on the cards but did we could only get one card from the certificate. Crappy.
The food was terrible (my wings were soggy, my daughters chicken Tenders were not coated in buffalo sauce [it was more like they dumped a very small amount on it] and my husbands burger was very dry) and the service was very slow even though we were there well before the dinner rush. They also have separate charges for the card and activating the card - Which you have to have in order to play the games. What a rip off!
Great server Nick. Deffinetly worth your money for any occasion and all ages. The games are fun and be sure to check for daily specials on games.I would suggest buying more chips for the game card its worth it to purchase more for better deal. Save your card because you can recharge it up with chips and it saves your tickets on your card as well. You can redeem your tickets for prizes. So take the family out and have some fun
Went there with a group of 12, mostly children. Thought it would be a good place for the kids to play while we waited to be seated. We got there and they didnt have a problem with our group size, told us it would be a while before we got seated. No problem, I can understand that..... an hour and a half later, after they have seated numerous other people we left the place. The manager who confronted me, stated it was basically our fault for having a large amount of people and that he couldnt make people leave there already occupied seats. This after already paying over $150 for the kids to play arcade games coupled with their non customer friendly attitude, we decided to leave. We right across the mall from there to Margaritaville and despite being as equally busy, they were able to seat us withing 10 minutes.
I had a great time Wedsnday here, as the games are half the cost to play. The games cost to much still but at least its a little better. It was busy which was good, except quite a few games took the credits to play, but did not work right. The first time I swiped like 6 times thinking I was doing it wrong and on the 6th one noticed the credits were way down, and no tokens came out. You get tokens for credits but the machine was out but I thought it was me. The gamer engineer came and replaced maybe half of what I should have gotten, I dont think he believed me . Also it took him like 15 minutes to get there. So it ended up happening again and I didnt even want to wait and be that guy who complains all the time, so I ate the loss, a few times on a few games. Some games are timed and have no direction so you waste the first couple games just figuring out what to do. I spent 60 dollars for 2 people and we had fun for hours on most games, my only complaint is I probably wasted 15 dollars on nothing with games not working properly. Helpers should be nice and welcoming, I felt they were annoyed instead of helpful and happy, so I didnt want their help when other games messed up. Thanks for your time.
Waited 45 minutes to get seated to eat, service was horrible. Five different people came to our table, asked twice for an item which they never brought out. Our server told us she had to leave for a break, that she said was mandatory for 30 minutes. Our medium burgers where well done hockey pucks, fries were cold. Never gave us plates with our appetizers, until they were already gone. Asked for separate checks. The server we had at that point told us, well she didnt separate them. Waited another 10 minutes to get separated checks while she chatted with a co worker. Then took the bill and instead of cashing us out went to another table to get there order. Wont be going back to Dave & Busters in Syracuse.
My fiancé and I got seated when we arrived without wait but that was the only time a staff member paid any attention to us. Managers, waiters/waitresses all walked past us and after 20 minutes of waiting and no one coming to our table we got up and left. We would of talked with the manager about this but this was the second time that this has happened to us so it wasnt worth it for us.
Residing on the top floor of the Destiny USA Mall, Dave & Busters is the best place to bring friends and family for a good time. From arcade games, to dining, Dave & Busters has it all. If youre of the older ages, this location provides both arcade entertainment as well as a belly full of beer. I absolutely recommend this location.
Took the boys for Power Hour. $10 unlimited play for each person. They had a great time! The only drawback I would say is that you cannot use the card on any of the ticket machines like football basketball Skee-Ball or the beer pong game. Not that we wanted to monopolize on a ticket scheme but would have liked to play some of those favorites with them. Another small nuisance is that the video game card readers are finicky, several times I had to go calm our 10 year old as he couldnt get the card to read on a game he wanted to play.
Got seated within 5 minutes even though we were told itd be about an hour. Waited a long time for our waitress about 25 minutes she took our drink order took another 15 minutes to bring it to us. We put our order in and it took her another hour to bring our food, things were forgotten on my order waited another 20 minutes for thathe to be corrected. She never once checked on us after the food was delivered, my drink was empty my whole meal, we didnt have salt, pepper or Ketchup on our table my friends son threw a fit because he wanted Ketchup with his frys. Awful awful awful service.
Was my first time here. Waitress, Steph, was so welcoming and helpful. Best waitress I have encountered in quite a while. Only issue was when one game broke and we had to ask for help. The employees in the prize room area were rude and unfriendly, wouldnt make eye contact so they didnt have to help. Need better customer service in that area
Worst place ever!!! Manager had fun rejecting up 7:06pm Tuesday and also they double checked my gf I.D. And the waitress keep asking us if we want drinks and we been told her no took 15 minutes and still no tacos it took 15 minutes to let me know that they had no beef tacos. No clue have it’s the year 2019 took 30 minutes also they checked my gf I.d. 3 times and I mean every inch why they didn’t do all the rest of the ppl like that we’re doing our best to have a good time.
Arcades have all but died and yet Dave and Busters says Hey, remember ski ball? Would ski ball be even more fun if you were drunk? The atmosphere is so fun and unique, the sports bar aspect is very nice with plenty of screens all around the dining area playing different stations, and music videos accompanying the excellent music choices. The arcade takes up the majority of the space, and while most of the games are fairly expensive (no doubt to take advantage of you after a couple of drinks) they are pretty appropriate for the experience on offer. Ski ball is cheap, but a massive 4 player light gun game with a gargantuan HDTV made specifically for Dave and Busters can cost up to a buck or two a play. Really, though, Dave and Busters offers an experience that really no one else can (or has really tried) to match and it does it very well. The menu is creative and fun, the games range from nostalgic to unbelievably high tech and modern, and the whole vibe will just make you smile. Check it out.
We just visited here for dinner for the first time since they introduced the new menu. My wife and I are both on the keto lifestyle and were surprised with the options we had. Not many places serve zoodles or give some healthy appetiser options like their lettuce boat. They had coke zero on the menu but were out. I would hope that stays as that is one thing we look for on menus when deciding eat someplace. We like the options and hope to see more. This will hopefully catch on at other restaurants soon.

2022-04-13Came here for happy hour and it was amazing. Such great deals on the drinks and the games. My first time here and it was incredible. I will definitely be back. Plenty of options all around the building; games, food, and drinks.

2021-10-18The arcade was great, the kids had a ton of fun. However, the dining left a lot to be desired. They were short staffed on servers but when your server seems annoyed with you right from the start, should have guessed it would be poor service. The waitress was clearly annoyed with the fact that we asked for an actual menu rather than using the QR code. There were 4 of us at the table but she only brought 2 menus. Told us to let her know when we were ready to order but was no where in sight when we were. We got tired of waiting and decided to use the QR code to order, which seemed to frustrate her. My daughter had ordered a drink that stated on the menu that it came with a light up ice cube. However, when the drinks were delived, there was no ice cube. Shortly after the drinks arrived, staff from the kitchen brought out our food. They had forgot part of the order, no big deal as they made sure we got it, but when we asked about the ice cube, they seemed lost. The waitress came over at that point and when we explained to her about the ice cube her response was Oh, they are probably out. She didnt even seem like it was worth her time to find out and when we pushed simply offered another drink rather than checking on the ice cube. After that she did not bother to stop by our table at all to see how things were, even though she walked past us several times. We waited almost 15 minutes for her to come to our table when we were done eating. I then sought out another waitress to ask to have the manager stop by. The manager never came over and about 10 minutes later she finally asked if we needed anything when I stared her down as she was walking towards another table. Honestly it is they worst service that I have ever experienced at a restaurant. They staff was not friendly, very few staff members were masked correctly, the booth they sat us in was not clean, and the music was so loud I couldnt hear my child right next to me.

2022-04-02Worst experience we’ve had at this place. The waitress didn’t know what she was doing. When our food came out, it came out 20 minutes apart instead of coming out together. THEN we look at our fries and there is a flipping hair on them. So disgusting. These cooks and waitresses should be having their hair out up properly.

2021-07-08We had a blast. We came here after visiting the Rosamond Gifford Zoo; so, this was a good place to end our day. Food was good and the game selection was great. We prob couldve spent a little less money but wasnt sure how many game points to purchase; so, we got the $75 card with 550 points...it was enough for 4 people to play 3 hours +, pretty much nonstop. The selection of games are good for small kids all the way to adults. Theres a little of something for everyone. Tickets are saved to your game card so no need to try to keep up with those. Prizes are decent for the ticket count. The staff is exceptional and really help make the experience great. Now if we could only get a Dave & Busters close to home... thats the only way it could get any better. We will definitely be looking for one on future trips.

2022-02-27Visited on 2/26. We came around what I assumed was their Lunch rush (1:30p or so). They couldnt sit us at a table (even though there were at least a dozen empty) and said the wait was an hour and a half long unless we wanted to sit at the bar. We didnt want to keep walking around for food so we agreed to sit at the bar. Bartenders were very attentive to us (even though there was only two of them for the 20-something patrons at the bar). Food took FOREVER (Im guessing not many kitchen-staff), but it was delicious (we had BBQ Tenders, and Buffalo Wings). All-in-all a pretty good experience. Well be back.

2022-04-14Kids had an amazing time!!! However. . . . Hair in asparagus. “Server” was not that nice, drinks were sub par. Never had a server assigned, And you know how that goes. . Don’t ask anyone but your server for things. ***Dining out etiquette**To be honest I’d still go back. Won’t eat or drink, just play. They need to do better.

2022-04-16(4/15 - around 5:30pm) Husband and I were quickly seated and then we never had a staff member approach us to take our food/drink order. We watched as a group that was seated after us was waited on. We waited 20 mins and then left. We’ve never had this happen here before. Dave and busters is usually a good time with decent food and fun games. This was a big downer.

2022-02-03The arcade was super fun with a huge selection of prizes to choose from at the end. however the food is really not good at all, except the apple pie and cheesecake dip those were absolutely delicious. the lemonades were super sweet and thick with syrup and the nachos taste like feet. otherwise it was fun
