Dave & Busters in other cities:
I like these people. They serve good food. But I guess Ive gotten old. Because none of the games were the ones I liked to play. Wheres the time crisis, Area 51, games that brings us grown-ups back to our youth. They forgot that we didnt pay attention, to how much we spent. We either beat the game or ran out of change.
Went to watch UFC but had to listen to hockey game though most of the top card. Would have gone somewhere else if they mentioned this before my party sat down.Ordered food, rest of parties food came. Time passes, server says its coming, manager comes over and says nothing. When asked says its coming. Over half hour later and burger comes out mummified and everything else on plate was mush. The Burger should not have been let out of the kitchen like that. It was so obvious that it died under the hot lamp. Sent back to kitchen and told to take off bill. Manager doesnt care, servers dont care. Its a shame since the food used to be better here.
It’s a Dave and busters it’s fun. I did however lose my phone and had to stayed till one AM so the machines and music would shut down and i could hear it ringing (somebody was calling it). At one AM when the staff were probably sick of annoying customers they were nice and understanding. I did find it but that was only because of the help we got.
Edit#2: The food is actually solid for this type of business. The bars and sports lounge spots are good. The alcoholic specialty drinks on their menu are not good, you are better off ordering simple drinks (i.e. jack and coke, vodka soda, margarita, mojito etc.) bc all their specialty drinks use syrups and its extremely sugary. Anyway my critique is more for the arcade area. IMO it would be nice to see some more creative improvements rather then just the typical adding a new arcade game or two. Maybe a better air conditioning/ ventilation system bc it gets uncomfortably mucky and warm (I feel for the employees). Maybe rearranging and touching up arcade games that need some love. Not necessarily replacing, but adding new led lights for example. Spicing things up. It doesnt need to be expensive. Again idk if its doable or not, but just some ideas.Edit #1: This is a very solid D&B. Plenty of new updates to bars and restaurant, new arcade games, and plenty of billiard tables. The staff does a good job. Im from the area so Ive been here many times over the years.
Me and my friends order chicken based meals I got the chicken sandwich and my friends got the tenders. We all ended up throwing up the food as it most likely gave us food poisoning. This was 3/31/2022 but the night was fun as Dave n busters is always a blast just eat before or after just not there…
With kids everyone should go once. However, its kind of a rip off. You slide the card and pay for a game but often the game tells you its misread your card...so you slide again and then realize youve been charged for a game each time. This happens A lot. Then other games the joystick is not sensitive enough so its really not responding to you...save ur money. Super rip off. Not a lot of games to play anyway.
I’ve been to several Dave & Buster’s locations and like this one the best. The bathrooms were well kept and very clean. The food was good and the waiter was great. We ordered food from the menu that allowed to purchase either a $10 or $20 playing card. I think we go too often, perhaps expanding the menu or switching the items depending on the day of the week to give frequent visitors more options. I went with my kids and elderly parents. They enjoyed it very much even at their ages of 78 and 89. I would suggest maybe having stools or seats available by the gaming area so that it can accommodate people that can’t stand for longer periods of time. Example: The Philly location has stools placed at the connect 4 game. Otherwise, we had a good time.
Fantastic for youth and children of various ages. The parents get to hang out and indirectly supervise their kids, also have some fun, have dinner, and sit @ the bar.Amazing for large groups celebrations! 🎉🎂🎁 It’s good to celebrate Good Times & be optimistic while you are experiencing a bad time, a transition in your life. The kids enjoy playing their virtual games, receiving rewards or prizes, they get to exchange their points earned to get the best prizes.Suggestion: increase men power is a must! It avoids long waiting on people’s food order. It keeps people warmed and welcomed😊🎉The second thing is the orders from the Menu coming out as delicious as they look in the picture! Chef & it’s kitchen needs to put great effort for the creation of wonderful tasty specialties. In this way costumer’s satisfaction will be 100% guaranteed!
I’ve been here during a Saturday night when it was completely packed & I’ve also been here on a Thursday evening when it was practically empty. Both times were great experiences with friendly staff, clean bathrooms and delicious food! I highly recommend the loaded tater tots & the chicken lettuce avocado tacos!
Disappointing. Very disappointing. Dave and Busters used to be a premium destination to bring our family to. Now, games were broken or only partially working. Staff were not helpful and actually rude to our children. Would not come to this Dave and Busters again. Such a let down for a business that used to be amazing.
Fun place for family to play and eat during the day and for adults at night. Kids are not allowed in after a certain hour. The food is not so bad. If you dont like it or want something less expensive, there are numerous choices in the mall that are close by.It can get quite expensive to play in the arcade but the young and young-at-heart will enjoy the variety including a virtual reality dinosaur hunt. They have a party room for special events. Plus billiard tables and a bar are nice amenities for adults.Good indoor fun for all ages.
I have been to six different Dave and Busters through the years and this one is the best. It has the largest amount and most diversified arcade games compared to the other locations around this area. The location itself is also much larger with massive dining areas and an arcade room nearly twice the size of the NYC and Woodbridge locations. Easy to spend several hours here with friends or family!
Ive been here numerous times and love it. My best friend Nick Bertoline came up from Florida last weekend and we decided to come for a day of drinks and games. This was nicks first time here and he loved it. Hes been to the one in Hollywood, Florida and he said not even close to which one is better. We Drank ALOT lol. Watched some college hoops which my friend Nick lost a little money. Lol. And played some games. Great time we had. Havent seen Nick in over 2 years but that day we had at dave and busters was worth the wait. Good job guys!!!
Incomparable to the D&B at Boston and NYC but still a pretty good one with all sorts of games.I experienced machines malfunction several times so Im giving a 2 stars rating for it. There werent enough staff on the floor who I could call and ask for assistance. Its not cool to swipe your card and loose some chips and then leave the machine looking for assistance.
Oh, its not like it used to be. I shouldnt blame it on Covid-19, but the menu is miniscule. One type of burger, not very tasty chicken tenders, the French Fries are way too salty. I cant believe Im saying this, Appleebees has a better menu now.The death of Dave and Busters cant be too far off in the future.
Very nice for the kids. Games were very new. You can stop to get a good meal. It was very good. Then back to games. You can also grab a drink while playing games. You can watch any sports on very high screens. TVs are 15 foot screens! Everyone was very nice. Games were a bit expensive but they are new so were good. Will definitely go back.
Ticket counters are not functioning properly and I couldnt get my gosh darn monkey and panda with the 2 cards that I had. The stuffed animals were both 7500 credits. I myself had 8092 and my fellow partner had 7060. According to my calculations this adds up to 15152. The complete cost of the stuffed animals should be 15000. But, the ignorant man at the counter said we didnt have enough.
One of the best Dave and Busters weve been to. Lots of games, lots of space. Pool tables and space to eat in a separate section from the games.Accessibility: each section is on its own level, theres ramps or elevators to get to each area. Theres a fair amount of space between each game, enough to fit a wheelchair or other mobility aid, but it can get super crowded. The games themselves are largely inaccessible to someone who cannot stand/sit at them.Lots of flashing lights and noise from both the games themselves and the people.
Your experience here will depend on when you choose to go. My friends and I went Dave & Busters on a Tuesday afternoon. Because of this, we had the whole venue to ourselves, minus a couple of other people. Conversely, Ive been to this venue Saturday night and it was filled with party groups and I found myself waiting on games I wanted to play. Friendly staff and a fun selection of arcade games.
No clue why people eat here... I was in a large party, and the only thing that was decent about my entire experience were the fries. Heather, I think that was get name, was the worst waitress... the place was basically empty and she kept disappearing. Took one of our orders wrong and then told us we made the mistake. And huffed and puffed to place the new order. The game room was a covid feeding ground. Where there were tubs of wipes everywhere, there was not one employee monitoring that they were being used... I spent 20min in there and left. NEVER AGAIN!
Had fun with the family playing games. A few of the games were faulty and had to track down people. Also, the service desk suggested using the app on the phone and the $100 package for a family. Which we purchased. She said she could activate a card so one kid could use phone and the other could use card. We quickly found out that was not true. Only one could be used. So i spent the entire night running between one kid and another swiping the card. Thankfully the kids recognize the pain of this and mutual agree we should walk around and play as a family. Even though they have vastly different ages and interest.
The arcade is finally back! Most if not all of the games are up and running, and there are hand wipes and sanitizer located all over the place. 4 stars only because since theyve recently opened their doors again, their menu is extremely limited and its actually a little difficult to find something good to eat. We have to leave the table before even ordering our drinks because we couldnt find anything interesting on the menu. Expand the menu and youll be back to five stars!
Great time and lots of laughs. They have improved the games and game prices significantly since last I was here (which has been years!) We went on a Monday so there was never a wait for any games. The VR games/ride was my first of many more - I enjoyed it too much (think I may be addicted, lol).I got the steak salad with blue cheese crumbles. The meat was cooked perfectly but the quality of meat was sub par. Also, the lettuce was a bit wilted but overall not too shabby.
Games were fun but overall experience was not. Needs more organization and workers that actually want to help customers. Did not realize we were supposed to pick our own table and you have to order on your phone (no one told us that neither). And we did not get our fries and when we told the server she said there was no way to go back and check the order or no way to get a receipt.... they did give us the fries but very unorganized.
We always love to go to dave & busters. but now they change the game..we went to celebrate my sons birthday and now if you get there after 5pm if order your food you dont get the card to play you need to buy separately, if you want to try the VR you need to paid extra $6 for each person. so if you go to Dave and Busters prepared to expend easily $150 to $200. wait is only one game worth playing is connect 4 hoop.
I took 4 of my boys ages 9 to 15 they had a blast ....I bought a $100 card that gave us 750 cheaps they played for 2 hours non stop... got some great prizes at the end with the tickets they won ....the only problem with buying 1 card (which was the best deal)is you can not live the kids for a minute but it was worth it 😉
The kids had a great time! Seeing that it is Covid time, I felt safe and felt that the children were safe. It was very crowded but the majority of people had masks on. The staff had masks on and I did see them wiping countertols and tables frequently which didnt happen pre-covid. I would definitely go back.
Used to be my favorite place to go but now not so much. It was so musty and hot in the play room, seems like they refuse to put on the AC there or maybe it’s just wayyy too much people. We went to eat and the food was amazing but our food arrived before our utensils. Usually the service doesn’t suck probably new management. Anyways, hopefully they fix the AC!
The bartenders can be a little more friendlier by saying hello when customers show up to the counter in the game room. I asked one bartender to please wipe down the counter after that no one came back to me for at least 10 minutes to ask me if I want something to drink. Please tell your staff saying hello and greeting people is part of their job and its customer service... Thank you!!!
With the new ordering food system no one approches your table it makes you pay up front amd no one informs you to select cash to keep your tab open. The food is good and the server was excellent but the manager was rude and treats people as if they are inferior which made our experience a negative impact. Hopefully they improve this service to where at least someone asks you if you are familiar with the ordering process. Again the server was excellent...
My family and I came here to celebrate my son’s graduation this past Tuesday. Normally we just play games when we come here and eat somewhere else because we’ve never been big fans of the food at D&B but we decided to have dinner this time. Biggest mistake. First, there’s no hostess at the front to greet or seat you. We had to find our own table and order our meal through the phone. Second, the waitress we had was so inattentive to the point my husband got up 3 or 4 times to find her to let her know we were missing utensils and napkins, the hotdog appetizer was cold, things were missing from our order, etc. I think she checked on us once the whole time we sat there which was over an hour. The food and customer service was just lousy. Third, the bathroom at this location is disgusting. Didn’t look like anyone was on top of cleaning it. The stalls were nasty and a few out of order. The soap was so watered down. Lastly, one of the guys (tall with long hair) at the gift shop blew his nose right in front of us while we were checking how many tickets we had. Afterwards it looked like he put the tissue down and picked up his drink. Didn’t clean his hands. Yuck. He really couldn’t excuse himself to go to the bathroom and do that???? The only good part is we enjoyed playing the games but everything else was very disappointing. Smh.
This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very chummy and the cuisine they cook is so delicious. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner here. I highly recommend this place.
This place is Great. They have sanitized wipes at everygame. You can sanitized the game before you play. They also provide gloves for you as well, if you feel uncomfortable touching the games.Oh, I forgot to mention they also have hand sanitizers everywhere. You still have to wear a mask except when youre eating. It was great to be out, having fun, playing games and laughing. They have provided everything for my family to used to clean, stay clean, and be safe. Its impossible not to be safe here.So just go to Daves and Buster and EAT, DRINK, PLAY !!!!
So we were attended pretty quickly and the waitresses kept checking up on us every so often though the fries were a bit salty, the chicken avocado sandwhich was pretty dry, the mango margarita was pretty good though, the nachos were good as well, the pinapple juice was not good.
Always a great time here, food and drinks are always an added bonus if you ask me lol. However, some games did stop working. Whether it was during (other person didn’t get to play) or at the end (bonus rounds weren’t working) that was quite disappointing, but nonetheless nice spot.
I love bringing the kids here with my husband. Server was nice and friendly. I breastfeed my baby so I ask for a seating place where I can do that. Our server accommodated us in a quiet private spot where I can do that. Food and drinks were yummy!! Games were fun. And prize selection is way better than other arcades.
So fun! I brought all of my kids here, even with there varying ages and they all loved it. they all had something to do and they all had so much fun. my other kids have gone here for a friends birthday party, and had tons of fun as well. I like how the parents can sit at the bar and eat and drink. great touch!
We went on a Monday at lunchtime. The place was quiet. We sat at the bar and ordered food. My husband said his burger was good but my cheese steak not so much. The roll was too soft to support the sandwich so it was borderline soggy. Good tap beer selection. They definitely need more help since the bartender said he was responsible for the entire restaurant so service was a bit slow. We played pool but in order to do so we had to leave a drivers license which we had to go back to get because they forgot to return it when we paid for the game.
Really nice place to chill with friends and family. So many fun arcades and opportunities to win all different things. They also have a really cool bar and a great menu and they are open really late. this is my favorite spot to come to when I am up late and have nowhere else to go. I also met my boyfriend for the first time at this Dave & Busters. Brings back a lot of happy and sad memories.
So packed. We went on this past Thursday April 1st and we couldnt believe how much people were inside. No social distancing at all. How can they think its ok to have so many people and we didnt see any staff around at all. A lot people withOUT MASKS SO IT WAS NOT SAFE. We left right away.
The service was horrible. We asked this one individual that works there about seating. He said it was self seating. So we couldnt find anything do to the distancing seating cause of covid. Long story short the individual that we ask ends up being our host! My point is ... is that he couldnt even escort us to a seat and it was our first time there. He didnt attempt to help us. SMH
Always loved going here as a kid. This was one of the best places you could go when you were having a birthday party. They offer so many different games for you to play and the store where you use your tickets usually had some really cool toys and candy you could buy. Its also inside the mall which is a plus, so when youre done playing you can go walk around the mall or go get something to eat in the food court. Highly recommend this place if you have kids or are a kid and are looking to have some fun !
Came for my friends birthday! It was super fun and I love the prizes you can get. I would totally come again! I the points are distributed well and is super enjoyable. I would very much recommend to come for any occasion! Great for birthdays, hanging out, and family fun!
Great place to go and have some adult fun/or you can bring your kids also to have some fun. 45 dollars was reasonable to put some credit on the dave and busters card and get like 360 points to play games except for VR games. They make some decent food but they are better at the drinks but that also depends on whos at the bar. The games are fun and entertaining and if youre a person that likes to have fun, there isnt a doubt that youll enjoy yourself.
Had a great Experience at Dave and Busters. My family and i Headed here on a Sunday to spend a Fun day together. We actually went to what i believe is a New Jurassic Park attraction in the back of the Room. We had such a blast in that ride. Ive actually been recommending it to all my friends! Staff was also very welcoming and helpful. If anyone is looking for a place to have fun with the family, this is the place to go!
I love the variety of games and activities. I can spend hours just in the arcade and not get bored. Though it would be better if all of the games charged the same amount of credits from your card. Also, with many of the games it takes 2-3 tries to scan my card, which just gets annoying. But other than that, I love it here and cant wait to go again!
I revisited on my child bday I had a great time with family!! Wednesdays is half-price games and happy hour is until 7 so it was great to take advantage of those options. The food was served to us cold in temp but the manager was right there to fix the issue.. Remaking everyones order over.. Very good service A+
In short, got there at 4:45, placed food order at 5:05 and got our food almost at 7pm! Horrendous experience.-Went here for dinner and games for my son. After placing our order for food, waiter completely disappears. More than an hour later and we had to get the attention of another waiter who brought out our food as soon as we asked. The food was cold. My sons Mac & Cheese was so bland and cold. Obviously the waiter completely forgot about us. This place is overpriced and the food is awful. We had to rush to eat because it was getting late and the kids wanted to play. Ruined our night.
Its been years since Id been here but The food was amazing and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. The game room is big and had lots of variety, I enjoyed my experience although a little different then I remember. A few machines werent working or were wonky but nothing a little TLC cant fix. But all around I had alot of fun.
Im giving this a poor rating because the service was terrible. I am not a complainer but when anyone sits down to eat a meal there should be drinks offered right away. After 15 minutes I finally had to flag someone down. Then when dinner came out mine dinner was 10 behind everyone elses. I spoke with the manager of that area and expressed to him that this is a management problem. He was kind and took my concern very well and even reduced our bill. The server was also very nice so Im not sure what the issue was. On the positive side, everyone enjoyed the food.
A lot of fun to play games but DO NOT eat here. Understaffed and the ticket times are 1hr+. My suggestion to parents: load up 1 card and swipe for their children. Kids swipe like the games are free with no concept of cost or value. If monitored you can have a few hours of quality time for a family of 6 with Jurassic Park VR and drinks for just under 160.00. Well worth it in my opinion.
Lots of televisions and space. Pretty clean and a nice variety of games. My food was pretty good compared to a lot of other Dave and Busters around New York but they could of use more waiters for my party. Although mine tried his best he was definitely overwhelmed with a party of 30 people.
My wife and I have come here many times over the years, back to when we first started dating. We always have fun here. It is better on Monday thru Thursday when it is less busy, and Wednesdays are half off. The place is well taken care of and the staff is helpful when needed. We enjoy the games and the food is pretty good - you can even pay for some food with the points you win.Our best experience was the newer VR experience. About $6 per person, you put on an Oculus rift type headset and get transported to a fun experience. Weve tried the Jurassic Park escape and the Star Trek battle. They also have a Men In Black, Terminator, and a Dragon styled games. It was tonnes of fun.
Purposed to my girlfriend this past Saturday 2/22/2020, and that was the only good thing of the night. The staff is incredibly unprepared. We asked for a table for 11 and the woman literally just “shrugged” and said she didn’t know if it was possible. Once seated the waiter was un-attentive to our table and more focused on tables with 2-3 people. The food/drinks took very long and every meal was cold by the time it got to the table. Once the 30 minute ordeal of separating the checks and paying was done, we went into the game room, which has been stripped of 9/10 racing games and replaced with lame arcade games geared towards small children. Quite a shame that this place is worse now than it was 10 years ago. Definitely needs an over haul.
Husband and I went on a Friday night. We had a great time playing games. We bought a $35 power up card which gave us about 200 chips (points). We played games and tickets won on games went directly on the card. You are able to use the tickets to redeem items and even for food. The drinks are a bit watered down. And it can be a bit pricey as you end up recharging the power up card.
My kids had fun playing the games but that was about it. It took forever just to find a table in the arcade section. When we finally found a table it took 20 minutes just for someone to come ask of we needed anything. After placing an order, it took another 30 minutes just to get a basket of wings and some water. The whole time time my kids were waiting for a card so they could play the games. Really horrible service, would not recommend. It might be like this on weekends (we went on a Sunday) but I get the feeling its like this at other times. I didnt even bother to take pictures as I was so annoyed.
It was my first time experiencing a Dave and Busters, and I had a pretty good time here. Im not entirely sure what the whole fancy is of it, since I prefer to play games in the comfort of my home, and the prizes at these kinds of establishments are kinda goofy and silly. But for what its worth, its fun. Be ready to shell out some cash if you want to be able to have enough fun while youre here.
Went with a small group to eat and then play games, sat to eat and waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then the drinks never came so we flagged down another waitress and ended up re ordering our drinks 2 more times before we got drinks. Finally we ordered our food and when it came out it was what you would expect of arcade food..lack luster.. but my pasta dish came with bacon wrapped shrimp and mine did not have any so I told the staff and they got me some grilled shrimp...and then charged me $5 for a side of shrimp. On top of all the mistakes all the staff was bland and seemed bothered to help us. Will not be returning and do not recommend. There are plenty of other places to eat in the mall before you go play games.
Ive been visiting D&Bs for many years in all different locations and Ive always been a fan. This one is not the largest or best Ive been to but its clean, family oriented and has a nice assortment of games and amusements to keep any size family busy for at least a few hours. Reasons it gets a 4/5? Staff are not particularly friendly (especially at the front desk where they are typically a little curt) and they recently changed the policy so you can no longer split your power card purchase into multiple cards, you have to purchase each card separately and cant transfer the points. This is a huge inconvenience when you bring a large family (like we do) and you want to take advantage of the bonus points available in higher amounts, so you get just one card and everyone has to share it. I guess one good thing about it is, it does kind of keep the family together ;-)
Its changed over the years. No longer do they have someone harassing you at the door as you walk in for an ID. The bar is very laid back and the staff are friendly and helpful with helping you decide on what to drink and eat. The arcades get updated from time to time and is a nice way to hang out and change it up. Food is decent.
The Dave and Busters at Palisades Mall has much better service than in Wayne. Although the layout in Wayne is preferable. We had the steak nachos and they were very good but had a Indian/Middle Eastern seasoning to it...so if you dont like that, dont order. They were very filling! We received our drinks and food within 10-15 minutes.
I did a Bachelor night party here. With driver service to and from nuddie bar. There was a excellent deal for food drinks and games. A good time was had by all (Except maybe the driver)Dave and Busters is great for all types of reasons. Food may be a little high but mall, games, drinks reasonable.
If youve been to Dave & Busters, then you know the drill and this one is no different. Loud and busy place on weekend afternoons (nights are a little better), a $23 card that depletes within 45 minutes, silly prizes to cash your tickets in for, and pricey drinks. Your kids probably love it and you can have a little fun on a date or while you wait for them. The bar outside is nice with sports on the screens. It is what it is. Avoid Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Look at your receipts very carefully. Apparently the cooperate office is aware there is a problem with their receipts. There are two totals on the receipts, one is the actual total for your meal at the top and the other is the total with gratuity. Be careful not to add a tip onto the tip they added in themselves. The place is kept dark because of the video games and Ive noticed allot of adults drinking. Just pay attention to your bill. I had to call so hopefully they will correct the amount. There is no way the waitress who served me for less than 1hr; and with an attitude deserve a $14 dollar tip. I will never eat there again. There are so many other wonderful places to eat in the mall. Just eat before you get there. This way you dont have to worry about getting scammed.
My son brought me to Dave and Busters for my 45th birthday and I had a blast. So much so that I brought my 12 and 9 year old daughters here for their birthdays. Dave and Busters is a GREAT PLACE to bring your family and friends together for an amazing night. Eat, drink, play EXCITING GAMES and win great prizes. I would definitely recommend Dave and Busters to everyone I know.
Just pure garbage. The service, the food and the staff were completely horrible and unprofessional. The seat yourself and wait till a waiter/waitress feels like coming over to your table policy is a piss poor idea. The only positive thing I have to say is at least my kids had fun playing the over priced arcade games.
“Delicious Portabello Sandwich”I took my nephew and family up for a meal and some fun. We enjoyed our meal. Service was great. Food was one of the best meals I had on my trip in the Northeast. We also enjoyed playing at the arcade and all games where running seamlessly. Will return again on my next trip.
We walked in at about 3 pm. The place was clean and we were hungry for some wings! We went to the empty hostess podium, waited for about 3 mins while looking around for someone to tend to us. We walked to the bar and tracked down a server who sat us. We sat at our table for a few more minutes while looking at the menu. No one came to greet us or tell us theyd be with us shortly, so we left. This review is based on a lack of customer service - not sure where the staff was but they failed D&B on this day.
The princess breakfast was fun, however there were only 3 princesses. My daughter was looking forward to seeing Elsa and a few others. Both her and I were a little disappointed when we realized they would not be there, since she had been talking about seeing them for an entire week. She was able to enjoyed herself anyway.
Bad experiences, came to the seating area to order food by the game. Waited 15 mintes and no service, then another family comes and get services and waiting 5 more minutes and no service. Than I ask someone behind the bar by the game room and all they did was pointed at the waitress and started to laugh. Real unprofessional. What a joke SMH. Just walk out and got food somewhere else. Only reason I purchased a card because of the kids. Weekand service is trash, Weekdays are better.
Pretty badass place..! Came here with my date. We drank and played the games for about 4 hours (I kicked her butt by the way.) at the end, we used our winning tickets and got a free stuffed dinosaur and a pug! It’s like a casino when you walk in the arcade section in the back and everyone else seemed to be having a great time, it’s a good atmosphere overall. P.S You could walk around with your drink.
For a place as informal as this one, you wouldn’t expect the customer service to exceed more luxurious digs but that’s precisely the experience I had.The server made one mistake on the food we’d ordered and it was taken so seriously, management came over to apologize profusely, as well as offer us complimentary promotions.I was highly impressed by the impeccable customer care practiced here, by all the staff.
The management is completely rude and unaccommodating. We had spent a lot of money at this location only to have a very disappointing experience. The manager is a condescending smart-mouth, and it is apparent that staff decides the kind of service they will give based on the appearances of their customers. Me and my family were once regulars at this D&B location but we will now never return. Good riddance to a once great business.
I went there on a Sunday for my birthday and it was mediocre at best. I was very unsatisfied with the drinks, They serve a giant glass of colorful sugar water with almost no alcohol. I had three of those and felt nothing. The bar tenders were rude and when I asked her for a glass of water she poured a half full glass of warm water. When I asked her if she could give me some ice for my warm water and she said that they were very low on ice. It was a poor choice on my part to have picked that spot for my birthday.
Im giving a 1 star review because of the poor treatment I recieved in the restaurant area. First off, I attempted to get seated for about 15 minutes while the hostess ignored me. She eventually seated me we a soul. Everything was going well, until I ordered an alcoholic beverage and asked the waiter not to put too much ice. His response? He hissed through his teeth and said, I dont think I can do that. Were busy and if I tell the bartender to put less ice just for you, hed be pretty mad. I replied to him, Really? For less ice? He shrugged and said, Just being honest with you. I didnt want to cause a scene so I said, whatever and moved on. Its not like I asked him for a special order. His response was unacceptable. If he simply said, We have a standard amount of ice I still wouldve been annoyed, but I wouldve understood. Its a shame the staff was so rude because the food was good and the arcade is amazing.
Very slow service, waited at least 45 mins for luke warm food. Waiter was not attentive and we had to keep waving him down for refills. Waited forever for check, too, which we all waved to get his attention to come over. It was not busy there and seemed to have staff standing around. The 8 of us wanted to play games, but ended up running out of time with all the waiting and left after we finally got the check.
Had a terrible experience here. My friends and I drove all the way from New Jersey to have a good time for our friends 28th birthday. We arrived and were having a good time ordering beers, food, and playing games. I went to order a beer for my boyfriend and I, but they needed to see the IDs of everyone drinking. I complied because at 10 pm, there were still a bunch of children running around. I called my boyfriend over and had him show his ID. Please note, he is 24 and I am 22.This one bartender held his ID for a while and called over the manager. We thought it was weird, but waited. The manager said he couldnt serve us because it was fake. Meanwhile they were serving us drinks all night until this one bartender gave us a problem. We offered to call the police to have them determine if it was real or fake because establishments have the authority to confiscate any ID they believe to be fake. The manager proceeded to have security come and basically force us out before we could call the police. He probably realized he made a mistake, but was unable to admit he was wrong. We even said we dont need to order drinks but we just wanted to stay and play games. But apparently that wasnt okay even though there were still so many underage kids running around unsupervised. We will never go back to this place. We were willing to spend as much money to have a good night, but the managers ego is too big to admit he was wrong.
I see I’m not the only one that got my phone stolenBe aware this Dave & Buster’s has a lack of security with lowlifes strolling around pickpocketingPhone got stolen and when I confronted security they told me with a straight face oh this happens often there’s nothing we can do about itThey know already about the situation and don’t care to do anything about itWhile he was pretending to care he asked for my phone number in case they find it then I watched him throw away the paper😳This place is disgusting and the employees are even moreFor the record they weren’t planning on helping me but when I offered $1000 reward for whoever finds it they actually tried so I give them 2 points for that
I visited this Dave and busters yesterday 10/25 the arcade side is great. Although the recharge station was not working properly and several games had problems reading the card more then 3 tries and/or was loading way to long. Game selections are great , a lot to chose from and really enjoyed the bigger basketball hoop ;) . Now moving on to the eating side I do not recommend . The service was very poor,we were not greeted at the front neither while at the booth. We saw a sign that said $5 appetizers so we asked our server which were the appetizers and she did not know. She came back still did not get the answers. We asked a second time she returned about half an hour later and only could name 2 things and said she cant remember the rest. ( with an attitude in her body language and face expressions ) she was very dry no smile at all and took very long to attend us. Our food did not arrive until 45 minutes later and it wasnt even busy on the eating side. I have been to several Dave and busters and this was the worst service ever received ! Again great arcade and prize selections but very poor service .
Very upset with my waitress Nancy on 3/28/19,Very unprofessional! I celebrate my sons birthday there every year and never had a problem till 2019. Played some games then ate went back to go play, then back to the table ect, after the 3rd trip she ask me for an id card or credit card to hold on to saying its d&b policy if Im not gonna sit at the table.... why? Think Im gonna skip out on the check with my two kids. Both my children notice her demeanor and also felt uncomfortable, telling me why are they asking for that dad we come here every year? I do believe I was treated very unfairly and I will not be returning! She was very slow and it wasnt even a busy evening and she didnt even return me change took it as a tip, I didnt not argueI rather write a review! beware there are mouse traps under the seat of the booth area. Not under the tables but under the booth seat cushion very nasty.
Stopped by Dave and busters to play some pool with a group of friends. I asked the manager (chubby Hispanic male) if they had a floating bartender and he answered yes. I told him my location and he said he would send someone over to assist. Needless to say I waited 20 minutes and still no service. Packed it up and went to lucky strikes where the service was better.
This was one of the nicest D&Bs I have been to. Admittedly, I am not a fan of D&B, and going here made me cringe. The menu option seemed kitchy (TGI Fridays esque; hard to explain), but the burger I had was delicious. The game room was packed, but we did not find ourselves waiting in any long lines. The overall rating being 4/5 is because I felt the menu was a little pricey for the quality of food, and because the wait for food/drinks was a little long.
I like D&B but I gave this place a 3 because there were like 4 or 5 games that were broken or the card reader wasnt working so you couldnt play. This place is all about the games. Fix the games. There is no reason any of them shouldnt be working. The robot boxing game has been broken since last year. Fix your games and we will come again. Thanks for keeping the beers cold. Ill be back!
Im writing this review in appreciation of how they handle fight nights. They are extremely relaxed and arent trying to suck every dollar out of you. You can either pay to have a premium experience with seating and food or you can come in for free to stand and watch with no cover. Of course youll buy some food, drinks and play some games but its not required. Its rare that a company nowadays makes you feel like its not all about the money so I appreciate the way they handle these fight nights.
Worst service i have ever experienced. Twice I visited and I attempted to order food and the staff did not greet me until after I had to get up and let them know what I wanted to order. In addition they took at least 20 minutes to take my order, and another hour to bring out the food. One of the bartenders was extremely rude to me and my peers. I asked for the manager to let him know what terrible service I received and he walked past Me about 5 times, refusing to speak with me. I have had a horrible experience with the staff every time Ive been here. Never spending another hard earned cent at this place.
It was a lot of fun. I actually liked it better then the 42st location. They have pool tables and Mario Kart. Yeah Mario kart is easily the most popular popular game as it should have been. It was super fun to play with 3 other friends. Only real issue is that prizes are way too expensive.
It was an alright experience but a lot of games had issues and I wasted a lot of money. The music was so loud I couldnt even hear myself talk, it was hard to even find and tell anyone about the issues the games were having. If youre going to be an arcade, especially with that kind of business, I would expect maintenance on the machines to be top notch...
We had a super fun time over here. They have the new soda fountain drinks like at the movie theaters it would have been totally cooler if it actually worked thought. I paid $7.63 for my cup and then the Ive want working. So you would think oh no biggie the drinks are cold at least but uh Nope the refrigeration part of the machine was broken. So after about 3-4 attempts to get a cold beverage I just gave up and got the manager. He was really helpful though and gave me a refund and also let me get free soda from the bar. But I mean still come on man you know. Otherwise the games and activities were really fun times.

2022-02-03Almost a great vibe, great food/drinks, and lots of fun to be had. Prices for chips is a little higher and has gone up considerably. But still always a great Night out. Id recommend they get more billiard tables as there is ALWAYS a long wait to play.

2022-02-25Server was great. They did have some new seasonal shrimp dishes that we enjoyed, just wished when I got the loaded nachos on the appetizer menu that they actually wouldve put more of the toppings that were included & not just a sprinkle of each. Also the vegan patty tasted like cardboard (not their fault) but do not recommend it.

2022-01-16This location isnt very big. Only has one bartender. The drinks werent that good. The prices are not the best. The food looked very good and my friend eating their loved it. The games were not badly priced some of the games were not working so that was a disappointment to bartenders day do their job

2022-02-04Always fun here! Megan, our bartender, was great. She was willing to modify my drink so that it would be a real mojito and it was amazing! She was also really nice and chill :)My only con is that their food is not the best and the drinks tend to be on the sweeter side; doesn’t change the fact that it’s super fun for both adults and kids!Oh, and there were wipes and sanitizer everywhere which I liked.

2022-03-08Those hot dog pretzel bites with the dipping sauce were beyond amazing. We arrived early so we had the place to ourselves. Had a lot of fun and the manager we had helping us deserves a raise. He cares, made sure we were taken care of and genuinely cared for his job.
