What a great experience!! They have such a wonderful staff!! All the opticians and everyone at the front desk are fantastic and are always willing to go above and beyond!! They have a great selection of frames, and can even have glasses done in an hour if you need them!! I always recommend my family and friends to come to this location!!
Absolutely everyone weve dealt with here has been wonderful. We went for my sons first pair of glasses and they treated him like an absolute star. The optician was so friendly and kind and helped him pick a perfect pair of glasses. And when the glasses needed to be adjusted, we had an equally good experience.
Worst experience ever! Had a 4:30pm on Saturday, Jan 30th and spoke to someone beforehand to ensure I was all good to go for my appt. The person on the phone said I could go and scan or fax my Rx to the place after I pick out my frames. Long story short, I showed up to my appointment at 4:15pm and a VERY rude girl with glasses, blond hair with purple tint told me if I don’t have the Rx PHYSICALLY IN-HAND I had to leave and make a new appointment. I understand that maybe there was a miscommunication among the person I spoke with in the phone versus the staff who work at the location however, the way this girl handled the situation was absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, she started becoming confrontational with me (in front of my 5-year old son) which not only made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable, but also angry since I have been a customer here and gave them many referrals in the past for years. I will make sure to tell my family and friends to go somewhere else from now on because no one should be treated this way. SHAME ON THAT GIRL WHO WAS WORKING AT THE RIVERHEAD LOCATION ON SATURDAY, 1/30 at 4:30pm with BLOND HAIR (PURPLE TINT) AND GLASSES. Once I get her name I will be escalating this so the company can address her unprofessionalism and blatant disregard to loyal paying customers .
I was extremely impressed with my visit to this visionworks location. The staff and management were very courteous and informed about their products and services. They have all the latest technology for eye exams. Both the doctor and optician were helpful and have earned a repeat customer/patient. I liked this location so much I plan on bringing my seven year old son in for his eye exam and glasses. Very highly recommended.
The eye exam was excellent! I order 3 pair of glasses spent close to $800.00 . First pair were ok made only for distance not reading. Second pair progressives made incorrectly had to have remade, 7-10 more day’s still waiting. Third pair of had to call several times been more then ten days as promised. Not sure what the problem is.....just want my glasses. Feeling disappointed.
Had such a great experience! The service was amazing, staff was extremely knowledgeable and the turn around time was fast. Angela Tejada was such a pleasure to talk to and she answered all the questions and concerns I had regarding my visit. I definitely will be coming back and recommending it to all my friends and family.
They say hindsight is 20/20. So let me share my experience at Visionworks Riverhead because the service here is clearly excellent. Walking in on a Saturday at peak time, I figured wed be there for hours. They were so organized they moved us through the paperwork and on to eyeglass selection whole we waited for the exam. They have hundreds of frames to look at, and we used the time well and made the selection. We were called and tested. They have a new photographic exam that provides you with a complete picture of your eyes health. The staff here are exceptional - courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. We left satisfied and confident in gaining a 20/20 view of how to maintain eye health.
Had the pleasure of having my eyes examined at the Riverhead Davis VisionWorks. They helped me find the best glasses for me and have only gotten compliments for them. I will be going back there again and highly recommended them to everyone I know. They were very professional and the manager Angela was extremely knowledgeable. I’mactually looking forward to my next visit.

Will never do business with them ever again! Bought a pair of glasses and lost it 3 weeks later. They told me they couldn’t replace it and even if I took in my own frames and just got the lens I still would have to pay full price. They did even try to work with me. I spent almost $300 for my first pair.
Had my lenses made in another store while on vacation out of state. Had nothing but problems. Kyle in Riverhead had new lenses made for me. Perfect ! He is so very professional, accomodating and knows his job well. He will want you to be100% satisfied He is an asset to this store. You will not be disappointed.Peter G.

The manager Cem is always available to help adjust my frames when I need it. All the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. They have the most selection for frames of any Visionworks I’ve been to. If you’re going to choose Visionworks, this is the location you want to go to!
I been a customer of Visionworks for many years. What keeps me going back is the service. Truly the staff is courteous and very professional. The GM Angela Tejada is always helping me fix my frames when I bend them. I see well thanks to them and always recommend Visionworks. Thanks Miss Tejada.
This place is beyond unprofessional! They have canceled my appointment twice in a row and then offered me a December date! On top of the fact that when we picked up my husbands glasses they had disgusting blue stuff on the frames! I personally would never go back to this location.
What a great experience .wonderful doctor very knowledgable, then we went to pick out my daughters glasses were helped by Kyle .He was full of great information low pressure and when my daughter was having a hard time choosing he pitched in!!! Fantastic Thank you so much!!
Nothing quick or easy about this place. They screwed up both mine and my daughters glasses. And then told me they would put a rush on correcting the mistake, but apparently that wasnt true. If youve got lots of free time and are entertained by idiocy, this is the place to go.
CALLED THERE TO ASK QUESTION ABOUT EYE EXAM, THE GIRL WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE DID NOT KNOW ANY INFO,AND SAID NOT SURE GO FIND ANOTHER EYE DOCTOR! THIS IS THE TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU HAVE ANSWERING YOUR PHONE .WILL SEE HOW LONG YOUR IN BUSSINESS AND YOU JUST OPENED UP A FEW WEEKS AGO! YOUR NOT THE ONLY PLACE AROUND,I WOULD GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER PEOPLE YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

2022-01-06Rescheduled twice. Front desk scheduled eye exam then cancelled at time of visit because my insurance was canceled. It wasnt they used my ss# instead of my insurance ID. Then held my authorization so I couldnt go to another company. So, exam only, then brought glasses at Lens Crafters. Lost business! Appointment was 4 weeks later.

2021-12-11Bad experience. Will not be returning to this location. Ordered glasses over a month ago and called several times for an update. They kept telling me a manager would look into it and that I would be notified as soon as they came in. Finally I drove there to speak to a manager in person. I asked for a manager, who I spoke to, and he said my glasses came in a few days ago. When I asked what took so long and why I wasnt notified, they had no answer. Nobody even so much as apologized for the inconvenience and incompetence. Nobody seemed to care or acknowledge my frustration and inconvience it caused me.

2022-03-24This is my first time ever going to get glasses and I must say, I didn’t quite know what to expect but for someone speaking with severe ptsd I was comfortable the doc was great with addressing my eye needs brook gave a warm welcome when I entered made me feel at home and caren the optician was great I love this place and will definitely be back and with more buisiness might I addKeep up the the good working

2021-12-02Scheduled an appointment due to horrible headaches. got there for my appt and was told i needed to wait and they would call me. i sat in my car for THREE hours. i called and was told i could go in in a minute or that they weren’t ready yet. called to ask if i could just come in to use the bathroom and was told “we don’t have one but you can go to the restaurant next door and ask them”. Finally, I decided to just walk in (despite their rules for covid) and they apologized and said they had no clue i was even there. upon going in (there was a bathroom) i waited some more. was seen by the doctor and overheard her telling a patient they didn’t need glasses but would give a .25 anyway even though the patient said they were having horrible migraines and couldn’t see. i was told the exact same thing. upon trying on glasses, i was told that none of the ones i liked suited me. i finally settled on a pair i wasn’t too thrilled about. i received the glasses a week later and they weren’t at all like the ones i had tried on in store. they were barely adjusted and constantly were falling down my face and were bent so they always looked crooked. Just went to Rocky Point vision works who said i definitely needed a different prescription. they allowed me to choose the glasses that i liked without commentary. spoke to a few others who went to visionworks in riverhead who wear glasses. they were given the same story of “you don’t need glasses, but ill give you .25 but it probably won’t help”, yet when they went to a different visionworks they were told they definitely needed glasses and were given a correct prescription.

2021-11-09The staff was very nice & professional, but for the money we spent, the quality of the glasses is poor. Both sides came off on mine, I was very surprised, as I am always very careful when i use them while out shopping etc. We spent over $400.00. So were just very disappointed.

2022-05-20Dont try calling ... you will be on 30 min before someone answers. Are the system will say that you are calling after hrs when they are opened at 9am. Not sure why I cant get someone to speak to.

2019-12-29I had a lovely experience here. After noticing scratches on my lenses following one of the employees neutralizing them, I communicated with the manager who offered to replace them for me. In addition, Kyle was SO helpful and pleasant, helping myself and my daughter find the best glasses for our faces both fashionably and functionally. Thank you!!!

2021-02-03Had some bad experiences with the Patchogue location. Tried the riverhead office. Not as up to date, and my glasses came in on 1/13/21 and I paid a ridiculous 15 dollar fee for the convience of having the glasses mailed to me since I need a appointment just to pick them up. First phone call was rude that it’s shipped automatically when it comes to the store. No response from the store and it’s into February. I’ll be contacting my insurance company to cancel payments and put in a grievance. and In the future... never vision works. Failed on every aspect. Honestly can’t say one good thing outside of the viability of ointments in this location. That got the two stars.
