Last night my teenager son was attacked in the hallway, by 8 or 9 young men in front of us.. they were smoking… was scared, when we talked with front desk staff they did absolutely nothing… none of them… the lady last night just said: sorry … the lady this morning was really boring hearing us complaining…. Of course, we canceled the reservation for this night….
The room was not clean, particularly the bathroom. The shower was disgusting, there was black residue coming off the shower mat when I turned the water on. There were pieces of something on the carpet, which clearly had not been vacuumed before we checked in. The topper was the “free” hotel shuttle to the airport, where the driver demanded a tip - $20 in this case.
They mentioned it has breakfast. Had no idea they meant it’s those breakfast bars and muffins.. they should have mentioned Grab and Go breakfast.Their key cards kept getting disabled and every time we had to make a trip to get a new one. And some of my group members mentioned that their non smoking room smelled a lot like cigarettes..
If there would have been a 0 star that is what i would have given them .The hotel is absolutely disgusting. The rug in the room is dirty and the curtains are ripped and the sofa is so dirty you cant sit on it and the bathroom seems like it has not been cleaned in months, also there is no water pressure and the sink is clougd .They do not maintain this hotel at all .Its a shame because its a great location. Spend the extra 60 dollars and get yourself a proper hotel.
I got this hotel by Hotels.com and it is perfect for me and my family. The location is very convenient. Plenty parking spaces, you can also bring your large vans. The check-in was quick and nice! I was attended for Sierra and Cairin, and they were very supportive and friendly. Eleveators are perfect. The room very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and I love the accessibility and the furnitures room. In summary, I recommend this place.
I booked this through Expedia and it was listed and very clean and following special Covid cleaning practices. Yeah right. This place was so run down. Everything just looked so worn out. Sheets and towels looked clean, but stained. The tv stand was all broken. There was an old dirty towel behind the tv. There is no breakfast anymore... Unless you consider a Nutrigrain bar breakfast. There was only one washcloth for two people. Maybe it was nice in 1990. The only reason I did not give 1 star is because the bed was very comfortable.
We asked the receptionist for shampoo and she said they do not have any and they do not know when they will have some. Big lier. Just to make sure she was lying at another time I asked another receptionist for shampoo and he gave me some. Do not go this place if you would like to get a little bit respect.
The first night checking in the lady at the counter was rude and unprofessional. That same night the toilet overflows all by itself and floods the bathroom. Third night here the microwave stopped working I asked for replacement two hours later still don’t have one at 9:30 at night I went to the front desk and told him never mind I’m going to bed his reply was you don’t want one then as which I stated I’m going to bed I don’t want to keep waiting on themI won’t be returning to this motel
From the very start we knew we were in trouble when they had us playing room roulette, because they hadnt booked us two rooms on the same floor as promised. The rooms were outdated, and housekeeping was nonexistent. Apparently, they dont come daily to tidy up and refresh items like towels and toilet paper, so you have to go to the front desk and ask for these items yourself. The mattress was badly stained, and the faucet in the shower was backwards. If you turn it to hot, you get cold water, and vice versa. This made for a confusing and frustrating first morning. The key cards dont work more than they do, and the night we were planning to swim, the pool was closed for maintenance. What a disappointing experience.
Staff was fairly good considering they seem to be over worked. The room was okay. My BIGGEST problem was at check in they take 100.00 for a deposit. They say..... they refund or release it at checkout and its up to your bank to release it. In fact it takes them up to 45 days to release your deposit (The hotel). This they dont tell you unless you call and speak to a manager. - besides that the staff and hotel was find.
Was there for work for 4 weeks...had to go to front desk for towels and wash clothes...had to leave trash outside of door...had to ask for clean linen for my beds...house keeping does not service rooms for guest staying over...front desk staff was very friendly and helpful
Our rooms were spacious and clean. Comfy beds, pool and hot tub were open late, which was great after shopping Galleria mall for 10 hours! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine and the lobby was decorated nicely for Christmas! For the price, I will definitely stay again!!
Im not sure what type of people are staying at this hotel to give it anymore than a single star but this place is a roach motel at best! For starters there was vomit on the carpet in the lobby that was brought to managments attention last night and sat there until staff used a dry cloth to wipe it up. It wasnt scrubbed and you could still see the dried remnants crusted on the rug at 4pm today. The room my fiance and I were assigned to had food encrusted on both the outside and inside of the microwave. We were supposed to have a refrigerator in our room and when we got to our room it seemed as though someone stole it straught fron the cabinet it was supposed to be in. We told staff and they couldnt switch our room until the next morning so we lost all of the groceries we purchased because they couldnt be refrigerated. When they finally were able to move our room it wasnt until 1pm the next day. When we addressed it with Nate, who called himself a manager, he claimed we could have put it in their staff fridge in the break room but oh well he was sorry we lost our groceries. When we came back from going to get breakfast in the morning (they had bagged food because of COVID that we did not teust eating) we were locked out of our room bc the door was malfunctioning and we were locked out for an hour. Behind the bed in the room was a film of sticky old booze, soda, chunks of food, wrappers and stains. When we asked if we could have our room switched, this manager gave us a hard time! The hotel is not only dated its filthy all over, their was 1/4 inch of filth and bugs on every single window that you couldnt even see beyond it to look outside, the mattresses in both rooms were stained the carpet in both rooms were sticky to the touch that we never took our shoes off to walk around and their was a film of dust on every surface including the packets of expired coffee they left in the room. This hotel is not a hotel at all. Its a disgusting place to say the least. This was not an unusual circumstance that just so happened to happen to us, the place was disgusting all around. The facility was disgusting, managment was disgusting in their handling of the situation and their treatment of us disgusting. If I could give it zero stars I would. Dont stay here we paid $107.00 per night and it wouldnt even be worth 10$ per night.
Stayed 1 night. While the bed was comfortable and sheets clean, the room itself was clearly not fully cleaned. Visible hair in the sink. The carpets had not been vacuumed. The room looks sadly outdated. A/C was a bit noisy but cooled well. Definitely NOT a 3 star hotel.
This place really needs to do something about the house keeping staff. These rooms are only getting cleaned to the extent problems are obvious. We found stuff under the couch bed in every room we inspected including a needle in one and trash in the others. Heard from other hotel guests with similar problems.
I had a pleasure to stay in this hotel the rooms are nice and clean. The staff is great. I love their pool inside of the pool area the jacuzzi. Should I say the Jets are wonderful. What time the pools heated? Their breakfast is from 4 a.m. To 10 a.m. And thats wonderful. I love their orange juice to taste good. Theres parking everywhere. The staff is great and they have a bar inside the hotel the which serves food also. That made it very convenient for everyone that was with me and it was a great time.
Everything was dirty. Dirty sheets, dirty cover, dirty chair. Toilet wasn’t clean, tub looks like a dirty house tub. I really had to sleep with just a sheet. This is not a hotel this is a motel. I have stayed in many hotels for lower or same price that had way better upkeep. The picture on the website need an update to show how unkept this MOTEL is. And last the $100 deposit is ridiculous when everything in the room is already broke and dirty.
This was by far the worse place I have ever stayed in. We did have a windstorm but the hotel does not have a generator, thankfully we were on the 3rd floor (after being moved from the bottom floor smelling so bad of mildew) there was doors slamming all night long and when it was brought up to the desk person overnight he was extremely rude. There was no backup breakfast provided after you were suppose to have free breakfast provided. we were told we could have dry cereal if we were that hungry. The hotel was extremely cold , the staff was rude, the rooms werent clean.About the only positive thing about the night was... the bed was comfortable & you were provided 4 pillows on each instead of just 2.
Great for our quick stay by the airport. Easy, friendly check-in at the last minute and they priced matched Experian without any hassle. Clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of food, tables and good hours. The only fault was the lack of outlets to plug in our phones and devices. The one on the bedside table didnt work.
Friendly front desk staff and breakfast staff. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The food at the grill was very good. The only thing that we found disturbing is that the maid knocked on our door before 9 in the morning and told us that checkout was at 9 a.m. which checkout was at noon which I confirmed with the front desk. I guess she was in a hurry to get us out and get the room cleaned.
Ive been here since the day before thanksgiving, our home had cought fire sadly. The staff have been awesome. They have put up with my fiance and our children for months and really are just great, especially during this whole covid and with the children being online for schooling, the management will go above and beyond to make sure they are connected. There will be times when my kids would act up and not once have they made any complaints about them being loud or distributive. No its not a top of the line hotel, but its ery well kept, considering some staff having to be laid off due to covid, so they are not at 100% with being right on top of things but thats completely understandable. They have the most patients and calmness when it comes to ignorant customers. I have witnessed different staff members get yelled at, be criticized, and belittled by some awful people, and yet no matter how bad, they keep there composure and never step out of great customer service and thats even on the phone as well. I salute all of them there and give great thanks and gratitude for giving me and my family such great service while our home gets rebuilt. We really are blessed.
We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it very much however this time we got here to find that the restaurant and bar have closed permanently and theyve cemented in the hot tub..there were only two working outlets in our room, the phone was not plugged in so we had to find the cord, follow it down and plug it in ourselves only to call the front desk for towels for the third time and still never got them... Had to go in person to ask only to be told by a very irritated man that people were stealing them and he wanted to know if we put our used ones out for the maids...which we had actually HANDED them directly to her to be told she would bring new ones later..she never did ....the bedside lamps were not plugged in so we had to move the bedside table out to find that cord and plug it in...the carpet was dirty both in the room and in the hall...after three days of seeing candy wrappers in the hallway I personally picked them up and discarded them. The pool was not being filtered properly...the one time I got in it I got some water in my mouth and it tasted stagnant...the breakfast was lukewarm coffee and prepackaged muffins, applesauce and orange juice..the entire hotel was dirty and rundown.. even the employees were unkempt and shady looking..Needless to say we will NOT be staying here again... and would never recommend this hotel to anyone...
First off, I am not a picky person at all. But when you can obviously see that the carpets and toilets haven’t been cleaned properly there’s a problem. We had to switch rooms due to the bathroom. Then the new bathroom you could tell the toilet wasn’t wiped down, it still had dried cleaning spray on it and it was dripping. The bed was clean however, and the staff was very nice.
The floor I was on smelled a bit musty. The scent of the chlorine from the pool was very strong and could even be smelled in the elevator. The room was clean and organized but I suspect the comforter was not changed. I say this because I kept coming across hairs that I know was not mine on it. The breakfast was decent, standard I supposed. Staff were awesome.
I stayed one week and only got service the day before I checked out. I was changed of rooms three times because the rooms or the bathroom was dirty.Other than that, front desk agents were kind, professional, helpful, and cleaned and vacuum the last room they changed me to. Not all towels were clean and hairless. But it was a quiet stay, exactly what I needed.I love that breakfast is served from 4am til 9am.I wish there were improvement with housekeeping. That is the reason of my poor rate.
Rooms were nice, but definite signs of wear. Hallway carpet was completely bare in patches, the shower grout has gaps and mildew. Housekeeping needs work as my shower has not been cleaned. There was a dark smudge. The beds were comfortable, the fridge and room furnishings nice. The breakfast was better than usual including 2 types of mini omelets and cranberry juice.
This was.... Surprisingly bad, even though I went in with low expectations. Its clearly an old Days Inn, that hasnt really been updated since 1972 when it was built. Both rooms I had felt like they hadnt been updated in ages. The first room literally had animal feces in it, we came down stairs with photos, and the front desk girl who was INSANELY sweet and nice gave us another room while apologizing profusely. The second room had garbage in all the trashcans from the previous tenants, and it was clear the toilet hadnt been properly cleaned since the Bush administration. At this point, it was 11PM, and we didnt care enough to complain, we were tired - but seeing how our windows opened up onto the Airport, the rush of planes kept us company all night. In the morning, Id planned to complain during check out, but the young man working just took my room keys, grunted, and then walked away. I didnt even get a chance to mention any of this to help.Oh well. I guess it all goes online?
Why we were there housekeeping did not come to our room for 3 days and one day said they couldn’t clean because there was a sock on the bed. Then the little refrigerator in the room actually had mold growing on the inside of it. My bathroom floor was so nasty put on shoes whenever we went in side it. They received 1 star because the front desk people were really nice.
The room I stayed in was fine but the room next to me had an issue with their bathroom. The tap was running (hot water) but when the front desk was informed they said, “oh yeah, we do that in some rooms. We leave the water running so that the pipes don’t freeze. Just leave a towel in the tub to reduce the sound”. Seriously??!! They actually think that it’s alright to leave the bath tub water running HOT even when there is someone paying to use the room!! There was no way to stop the water and they had no intention of doing anything about it! There were two young children in that room too and they could have been harmed by the water if they had managed to get in there. I was not impressed with this policy at all! I can’t see anyone renting a room and not having the heat on in winter!!
+ Friendly staff, good restaurant, nice that breakfast is provided from 4 to 9, shuttle service was useful.- Found a dirty towel sitting in front of the elevators, there was a used towel in the bathroom. We tried to call the front desk but the phone was unplugged. Also had to go downstairs to get coffee cups.Would only recommend if you need to stay for a night at the airport.
Got put up here by United due to a delayed flight. Staff was really friendly and helpful here. The hallways smelled very strongly of cleaning solution. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the A/C was quite loud. I personally wouldn’t stay again, but it’s a decent option for the price.
It was fine. Ish. I guess. The breakfast was better than average (omelettes and oatmeal were popular with my kids.) The pool is weirdly small - just a couple of families makes it not enjoyable. The shower was mounted so low on the wall an adult has to contort to wash their hair. I would choose a different hotel next time.
Staff were friendly and helpful convenient airport shuttle and early breakfast. This is clearly an older hotel, the hallways and carpets were worn and dirty but the sheets were clean and mattress was comfy. My biggest complaint is that the neighbors radio started playing at 2am and continued for over an hour and I could sing along to every song the walls are so thin.
This was the worst ever, I was a guest coming from out of town, the first room the bed had hair under the sheets and alot of blood , I could not believe it. Then they gave me another room and it smell like smoke and the walls had food stains. Needless to say I left and got a different HOTEL. The only reason they even got a One star is because the man at the first desk was really really Nice.
Place was by far the worst Ive stayed in quite some time. When we arrived to our room the door was open and no blankets on the bed. The room across the haul seemed to be having some sort of party. The room was dirty fingerprints all over the light switches Coffee all over the pot. Spit running down the elevator wall.
We arrived at this hotel to be rather disappointed at the state of our room. Seems housekeeping was rushed or there may have been a management issue. Spoke with the staff, were relocated to a better room, and received an apology from the manager. They are rectifying the situation. While our stay was not wonderful, the staff was receptive to our feedback, which is always encouraging, and they are doing something to address the problems.Pros... polite front desk staff, quiet room even though we were facing the airport and a very comfortable bed...
Its almost time for a refresh. Decor is a little dated and a little faded, dents and scratches are starting to accumulate. The location across from the airport is convenient, the pool is well maintained and very accessible. The free breakfast, at least on weekends, was one of the better ones Ive had at this price point - waffles, oatmeal, and omelettes in addition to the standard fruit, yogurt, and cereal. Definitely a budget friendly choice, but decent value if you consider it in context. My wife was not impressed, but just because it wasnt nicer overall - neither of us had any specific complaints. 4 stars in the context of a budget conscious option.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room I stayed in had a lot of little maintenance issues that, when all experienced in a one-night stay, made our time there very uncomfortable. The cabinet for the television had a door that didnt fully close and would drift open, making it a constant obstacle when walking by. The TV itself didnt work. The bathroom was not as clean as other hotels weve stayed at. The staff was very helpful and did their best to help us, but it really seemed like the hotel cut a lot of corners in order to save themselves money.
Positives: Able to check-in upon arrival, breakfast included, quiet rooms (despite being literally across the street from the airport), A/C works properly, staff is polite, comfortable beds and coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves in every room.Negatives: Lobby is very dark, pool smelled strongly of chlorine (which typically means it is not clean), rooms are extremely outdated with dark furnishings that are showing their age, pillows are in desperate need of replacement, and extremely inconsistent housekeeping (see details below). My visit to this hotel was neither for business or pleasure. I needed a place to stay as I attended to my fathers sudden passing for 5 nights. On the first morning of our stay, the housekeeper stopped me in the hall to ask if we needed anything in our room. I was somewhat confused as I expected our room would be serviced each day without needing to be asked so, I told her wed be leaving in about an hour and she could take care of the room. The following morning she stopped me again as we headed to breakfast. As this was a day I knew wed be in the room a while, I told her to skip us this once. The next day, we left by 9am and didnt return until after 7pm but, our room wasnt touched. I called the front desk and was brought some items with little apology. Amazingly, the next day, it happened again! Our trash was overflowing, we had no towels, etc. A whopping $10 was taken from my bill.
Nice big soft beds. Keys are a little tricky - mine chose when to work, and had to get a new set recoded, but reception were amazing. Pool has seen better days - and is a little small, but if you’re only wanting to cool off before catching a flight - it’s a good size. Free wifi is a little patchy - found a faster connection using my phone than I did on the “free” wifi. But as far as budget hotels go - pretty good!
It was fine. What do you want for $80? Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at 3 a.m. I had called ahead and let them know we would be late, so they were expecting us. Not only is the front desk staffed 24 hours (unlike several other nearby hotels) but their complimentary airport shuttle runs 24/7. We went from the runway to our hotel in about 25 minutes. The driver was friendly and so the attendant at the front desk, even though it was very late. I was too tired to contemplate the weird smell on the fifth floor and I wasnt sure if I was seeing spots or if the carpet was filthy, but it was 3 a.m. and I didnt care. Our room was clean, the thermostat worked great, and I slept like a baby. I cant comment on breakfast since it ends ungodly early (really, who is up and about before 9:30 on vacation?), but I was fine with this hotel. I could have spent twice as much for a newer hotel to be comatose in, but why would anyone do that?
My family enjoyed staying in the Days Hotel Buffalo Airport. Swimming pool was just the right size for my kids (though maybe a little deep). There is also a nice, warm spa beside the pool. Breakfast was also good. Staffs were busy preparing, filling up hot foods during the whole breakfast time. Hotel room was clean and comfort. Reception staffs were very kind.
Location is right by the airport, check-in was fast, the room was extremely shabby and run down. Felt like I needed to keep my shoes on all the time. Didnt feel comfortable showering. The keys kept not working demagnetizing. Happened four times to just myself, and numerous others. Breakfast was free, as was parking and wifi.
We made a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight, which kept us in Buffalo overnight. We appreciated the online deal that I found on my smartphone and the front desk was more than happy to match the lower price that I found. Our room was clean and nice, as was the rest of the facility. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean well kept. The free breakfast was very good and very convenient. It is very conveniently located across the street from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
This place is the other name for filthy. You can gauge a hotels cleanliness by looking at its carpets. The carpets in this hotel you dont even feel like looking at it. The no smoking policy here is a joke. The smoke from the next room permeates into your bathroom and by morning you would have smoked a pack. This does not even fall into the lowest of the low standards of Days inn hotel. The breakfast, oh you dont want that. Dont fall for the free breakfast trick. Spend few dollars more and stay somewhere else even if it does not have breakfast.
We got in around 2 AM, we get to our room and its freezing cold (the window was open... during the winter!) So, we cranked the heat and I went down to the vending machine for a bite to eat (the selection was sparse and what was there were not my taste). Also, my son washed his hands, went for a towel to dry and we had no towels at all! There was was just an all together dinge to this hotel. But, the bed was comfy and the breakfast in the morning was decent.
Check in went easy. The sign says hot breakfast from 4 am (perfect as we had to be at the airport by 5). Our room had the previous guests toe and fingernail clippings all over the carpet. He also left a single shoe behind. They sent someone up to vacuum after I complained. The next morning we are told they dont have breakfast until 5am.. Pretty disappointed with the overall stay.
Overall the room is very comfortable. Flat screen TV with multiple beds. The bathroom looked a little ageing. The provided breakfast was above average. The main complaint was entering and leaving the hotel parking lot as it is on a major road and there is no light to make the turn.
Hands down amazing service. We arrived at 2:00AM and were exhausted, and there was an issue with our booking. The manager, Brian, was great at dealing with the situation. He extended our checkout time the next day, and really went the extra mile to make sure that we had a positive experience. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time we fly out for a vacation.
What can I say about accommodations right across from the airport?Rooms were very adequate, nice and clean. We used their Park and Fly program. Car stays in their lot for the week we were away. They have an airport shuttle, super convenient. No fuss for us the morning of travel, nice and easy. Just call for the shuttle after you get your baggage on the return trip.Highly recommend.
Great place for a park and fly option. Shuttle to the airport. Only problem is breakfast starts at 5 am not 4 am like it is advertised on their website. So we could not have breakfast before our 7 am flight. We booked here for that reason and that they allowed more than 14 days for vehicle parking. Also the air conditioner was so loud even on low and the pillows were very lumpy and not comfortable that we had an awful nights sleep. Felt so exhausted the whole travel day. Otherwise the staff is pleasant and rooms were very clean.
An amazing place if you just need somewhere to stay, somewhere to eat and somewhere to go. The pool and fitness center are great amenities as well. The restaurant is just great and they have a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. The rooms are very comfortable and convenient, complete with almost everything youd need. Easily a 5 out of 5 for a place to rest.
The hotel is clean and close to the airport. The restaurant is pretty awful, but I shouldnt expect much in this situation. The rooms appeared pretty clean and the beds are comfortable enough. The floors were wet & slippery but there were signs. The staff at the front desk was very kind and courteous.
Very disappointed in our stay at this hotel which was very recent. This hotel needs to be updated, womens public bathroom downstairs was very dirty/ bloody toilet paper on the floor. Pool had too much chlorine, eyes burn when walking in, no towels available to dry off. We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and after the first night our belongings were missing from our room when we returned. cleaning staff apparently through away our clothes in the garbage. This was reported to front desk and we ended up looking in the garbage ourselves for our belongings.( Obviously if our stuff was thrown away staff was not going to look for our belongings!!) Do not have cleaning staff clean your room if your not there!! I would not suggest staying here! it was a horrible stay. Made my overall stay a disappointment!!!
The Hotel looks like one of the older hotels near the Buffalo International Airport. The rug in the hallways were really worn out . The room itself had a worn out look. If a hotel cannot afford updates at least keep the hotel clean. The house cleaning dies the basic cleaning like vacuum and make the beds . However the Tv had finger prints all over it . The microwave was dirty and fridge was dirty . I stayed 2 nights . Housekeeping cleaned 1 night and microwave, fridge and Tv remained dirty . They had a free breakfast . It was barely a selection. I know it is free , but compared to other hotels with same offer it was poor and not very clean . There is a indoor swimming pool . The hours it was open was the latest I have seen for a hotel till 12am . I was happy to be able to go to the pool after doing g the typical tourist things Niagara had to offer . Then I went to the pool and did not even go in . The smell of chlorine was awful . I been to other hotels and understand you may have to put extra chlorine compared to what you would have to put in for a pool at a home but . I think it was to much and probably a unhealthy amount. .... The amount they are asking for a night it is not worth it . The staff was nice. Just not worth going to that hotel . There is plenty of choices in the area Go anywhere but this hotel.
The top of the TV cabinet was full of dust and the sink look like it wasn’t cleaned + no toilet paper when I just got the room. I had a nightmare with the doors key every time I wanted to get in the room it didn’t work and i had to go to reception to get the key reprogrammed. Breakfast is okay, Wi-Fi kind of slow and the customer service at reception very helpful but the rest of the staff I think they need more training on how to greet guests.
Love this hotel. We always stay here the night before an early flight. Free airport shuttle around the clock, so a ride to the airport at 4am is no problem. Its only about a 5-10 min ride to the airport on the shuttle. Plus you cant beat the park and fly. Much better than paying airport parking. Love the hotel bar too.
The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast provided was available from very early (5 am I believe) until 10 am with complimentary coffee continuing even later. They had a shuttle that took us to the airport that was fast and warm. The person working on the shuttle even assisted us with baggage loading and unloading.
Overall experience is better than what I expected. We booked a standard 2 queen room but asked for an upgrade and was bumped to a business class King room at no charge. The suite was very spacious with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was clean but really needs an update.
Great place to rest your head the night before a flight. The park stay deal is really nice. Early 4 am breakfast for early flights. There’s a bar connected to the hotel which is nice. Shuttle service to the airport is 24 hours. It’s the perfect flying hotel! Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
Excellent value airport. Theyre park and fly package is a great price. The hotel has been updated and looks great along with the pool and hot tub. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delishous! Above your standard hotel breakfast. Well recommended for traveling!
Room was ok, poor bedding, blankets were full of dust, if you have allergies think twice. We had flight early next morning, went for breakfast, there was no hot water for tea, eggs and whole wheat bread was good. We were ready to check out, no body was there, called few times, no body came as we were getting late for flight. Then a person came said I checked you out dont need to do anything. When we asked for invoice, he was getting angry, was fuming, was slamming the doors. Not sure what was wrong with him. And we left. Will not stay again.
Extremely dirty and dated. We changed rooms due to crumbs and hairballs in the first room, next one was slightly better. Until we saw the bug on top of the bed, still not sure if it was a bedbug. At checkout time we overheard the staff say that when plunging a toilet it overflowed into another room.
Very peaceful quiet night , the staff was so nice. Thats my 3rd time staying in my travels and would go back again the next time I come home. Please keep in mind the staff was so accommodating to me and I,m a senior maintenance director for a Best Western in minnesota 😃
Had a negative experience staying at this hotel. A close by Wyndham hotel overbooked (where the service was positive and apologetic), so I came to this hotel. Was treated extremely rude by manager. I booked online as they could not give me the online deal in person. The in person deal I was quoted was $80 more. The bathroom was unclean and the alarm clock had dirt embedded in it. I generally do not complain but this experience was unacceptable. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
Walking distance from the airport if you cut through the parking lots. Clean enough but we asked for a double and got a king with a sleeper sofa and no sheets. Ice is only on two floors, room had coffee machine and coffee but no cups. Indoor pool looks small but nice. Free Breakfast starts at 4am and ends at 9am, 10am on weekends wasnt not useful for us since we got in at 2am.
Room was not bad. It was clean and pretty standard in most regards. The top sheet on one of the beds were missing so we had to request one. The drainage on the shower was very bad as it took a very long time to drain once the shower was turned on. Overall not a bad start expect for the shower.
The facilities were decent in general, our kids enjoyed the pool. But we found bedbugs allover the queen size beds. It was really late at night, so we preferred to file a complaint the next day. However the Manager didn´t bother listening, no apology offered either. We stayed on New Year´s Eve (2015)... Needless to say all we had to do with our clothing, shoes, etc. to avoid further problems at home...
This place is a dump. The breakfast was just horrible and the pool and hot tub were disgusting. First room was in disrepair so we had to be moved and the next room was just as bad. The only good thing about this place was the location because everything you need is within a 5 mile radius. We drove all the way from Delaware for personal business and checked out early. There are plenty of other hotels in the area “DO NOT STAY HERE” All you can smell is cigarettes and marijuana all through the halls and the walls are paper thin!! Go elsewhere!! Very uncomfortable place and the beds made our backs hurt.
You get what you pay for. I asked to be moved to one if the top floors because the partiers were on the first floor and they were loud. There was a power outage but was still able to have a hot shower in the morning thx to the backup gennies. No incidental hold on my credit card which was nice.
Its a good place to stay a night if you messed up the reservation at your destination or was ahead of the schedule (like us). I would not chose it as my destination. The place is pretty dated, but clean and good customer service. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the morning. Lots of families with kids
My husband and I i here from Boston for our son’s graduation from UB. Hotels everywhere were all booked otherwise I would have left. I’d booked this in advance so figured we were all set. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is just disgusting. The tiles in the shower are dirty the floors are dirty. They really should take more pride in their appearance. I wished I could upload the picture I took. They need to do better. The staff are wonderful, friendly and courteous. That’s all they got going. I would not really recommend this place as a 1st or 2nd or 3rd choice. I plan to shov the hotel manager these photos and ask how on earth does it pass inspection. It is worth it to book months in advance fir a quality hotel. Two months obviously was enough time. My Marriot and Hyatt near by was booked.
We came for the hockey game from Canada amd brought our neice. She loves the pool and hot tub so picked this hotel because it had both. Nowhere did it advertise that the hot tub wasnt working :( although they had it filled and running it was colder than the pool. The breakfast was good in the morning though! Noise in hallways is LOUD!!!
Great value for money, just across the street from the airport, and there is a shuttle service to and from the airport as well.Friendly staff, decent breakfast (waffles, eggs, cereals, toasts, juices and coffee). There is a swimming pool, but I havent tried it.Great bar is located at the lobby. One thing that bothered me was that the a/c made a lot of noise. There is a small refrigerator at the room, comfy bed.
Great hotel, Staff is friendly and helpful, LIGHTENING-FAST responses to our requests, clean and warm. The pool and spa were PERFECT (I’m a pool guy 35 years in Florida) ...and “the Landing” Bar and grill are here too. VERY fun place. We come back to this part of Buffalo again this is where will stay, guaranteed. Thank you all
My room was a little dated looking but clean. The drain in the tub did not drain quickly when I took a shower so I would end up standing in an inch or so of water. The WiFi worked but the connection in my room was spotty and when I could connect the connection speed was very slow and would often time out.
So disappointed our room was not cleaned well room 307. Who ever before us made coffee it was not cleaned out. And the packets was still in the basket so the cleaner did not even check to restock the coffee. And to top it off I understand alot of people at the pool but.....when you have a family thinking they own it, they ordered pizza and wings and took over the hot tub and pool and chairs. And there radio blaring rap music. There where towels in the pool it was just bad experience. No one else could even enjoy themselves. So needles to say never ever again!!!!
Very friendly staff. Manager, Jennifer Taylor, was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. You can tell how much she valued the Days Inn customers. The rooms are very clean, as is the inground, indoor pool and hot tub. Continental breakfast included...even with self-made waffles in a rotating waffle grill. Can not beat the price and great location very near the Buffalo/Niagara Airport. Shuttle bus to and from the airport is also available.
Stayed in one of their business rooms. The room was decent but my biggest complaint was the bed made my back hurt and the pillows were the size of something you would see someone use on a couch. 2 pillows side by side might have made up the just over a standard size pillow. Wasnt what I expected for a business room.
We did not stay overnight but family had 2 rooms and were staying 2 nights each. The lobby looks good along with the restaurant but once you enter the hallways, the lack of upkeep and passing time becomes very apparent. One family had to switch room because their first was so dirty. They got a good deal that was nonrefundable so they stayed but would not stay again.
This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at.I would give it zero if i could.Requested a wale up call.Didnt get it.The rooms are so loud, children running everywere unsupervised, which wouldnt be a big deal had i not had surgery the day before. The parking is terrible. The attached restaurant says it will deliver to your room, but when i called for delivery the person said they were to busy.I would have ordered out had i known that..... Im going to tranfer to a different hotel in the morning..Oh,charging 85 bucks a night for this place is a joke...my advise,Go to tje holiday inn and pay the extra 20 per night.
Comfortable beds, nice breakfast spread started at 4am for early flights, including wafflemakers, precooked omlets, fruit, etc. Fee for keeping a dog in the room was $25. Our shower was slightly scumy, but otherwise the room was clean. My magnetic strip key card stopped working by morning.
I would give this 0 stars but I had to at least give a couple . First , why I gave 3 stars? Because my husband and I were calling the front desk before coming to the hotel , this was on Tuesday 7/2/2019 night around 9:30pm it sounded like a young girl working here. When I was talking to the receptionist on the phone, that night , she sounded very rude on the phone, and I can hear her breath tone on the phone as if they don’t want to work there. I ask the receptionist that night “if there was any 2 rooms available with both 2 queen beds in each room because there was 9 of us.. also asking for an extra bed for $20 ...” the receptionist said in an attitude tone on the “ya there are 2 beds in each room with the extra bed” well when my family came to the hospital the next day , it was a whole different story!!! If you are going to check in online with this hotel don’t!!! I personally would say to go on the front desk so you can really see there faces . Luckily there was this lady and this tall guy with the black Afro hair and short blond hair lady when I arrived at around (6ish ) I forgot there names but they were very helpful especially the black chubby tall guy.. (not to sound mean) just describing .: he was very helpful and I recommend you going for him if you need assistant !!! He is the only one who has patience so I thank him for that..!!
The Days Inn is convenient to the airport with courtesy bus service. The staff is friendly, breakfast is a typical buffet and the internet works well. Weve stayed there a number of times. You get a comfy bed and an assortment of pillows. It is an older hotel and the bathrooms could use updating.
My family and I stayed a night here and our rooms seemed to not be cleaned there was used towels behind one of the connecting doors. There was no cups at coffee station but cups in other room. Neither bathroom toilet tissue was replaced. Pool had garbage inside of it . There was garbage all around the jacuzzi. Just nasty..
Chlorine smell first thing at entrance, smelly elevators, hallways, and rooms. Dirty walls and warn out rooms. Worst thing of all is the high speed Internet is barely faster than dial-up. See picture attached, this was also confirmed by Ethernet connected lobby computers.Good? The price was fairly cheap and it has free breakfast. Its also a stones toss to the airport.
Horrible service. We got the room because it was 80 plus. Air conditioner didnt work. After waiting two hours for help we called the 800 number and they told us there was nothing they could do because the were put on hold and waited half an hour and couldnt get through again. After many hours we were finally put in another room that was dirty and sub par at best. With reservation we asked for a crib and finally after ten pm we were given one for our very over tired two year old. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
The hall from the pool to elevator is freezing cold. Downstairs is clean but 2nd floor has a odor seems to be coming from ice machine area. We reserved 2 rooms, they werent connected. A couple were arguing late at night, took the argument out in to the hall a few times, it was annoying to hear people arguing and swearing.
First room that was given to us wasnt even clean yet, accidents happen, second room was done but were cleaned towels on rack still with dirt all over them. Mold in tub area, tiles falling off wall. Wasnt impressed. 2 years ago great experience, this time not impressed. Probably try another place next time we fly from Buffalo
I like this place because flying in late to Buffalo its a great hole up. Usually pretty good, this time not so much. I dropped my phone charger behind the night stand and went to move the bed from the wall to retrieve it. Ugh...disgusting find. Beyond dirty with all kinds of crap back there. When I complained the desk gent stated they do a deep clean in the off season. This was more like it was never cleaned. Also the Wifi in my room was terrible. Sad to say I might have to move to Aloft or something next trip.
Great hotel directly across from the airport, offering free long term parking and a shuttle service to the airport, bed was super comfortable, nice bar in lobby, pool, a terrific value and exceeded my expectations. Quick and efficient check in by the one attendant on duty with lots of people checking in at the same time.
Location was great - just across the street from the Buffalo Airport and near several restaurants. Not far from downtown Buffalo either. The hotel was no frills, very basic. The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. Word of advice, dont look under the tub mat.
The dirtiest hotel in the area. Room were dirty as hell couldnt even sleep because of smell and noisy air conditioner dirty tub dirty carpet and it had a gross oder to the gross room. Please don’t ever stay there. All the other hotels have a shuttle to the airport. The staff in the front desk were very attentive. Don’t fall for the rate😡
As someone who has traveled throughout the USA and Canada I can honestly say this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at! Traveled with children this time. Picked Days Inn to stay at because of the indoor pool for the kids. Pool was disgusting! HOT TUB had a brown film in It! Eyes immediately stung just walking into room. Went to Landings to order food for family. Immediately smelled mold by the bar area. Inside the rooms the wallpaper was peeling, popcorn ceiling falling down, bedspread stained and the bathroom had hair in It! Went to turn shower on for child and the entire wall moved!Went to free breakfast and there was hair in the food! Ended up taking kids to Tim Hortons for breakfast! That is just some of the things we dealt with. Overall Days Inn buffalot was over priced and the worst experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Would give it a negative number rating if I could!
Well, 4.5 stars, really. Its an airport hotel, not the Ritz. Still the service was perfect, the room quiet and clean, the bed really comfortable and we left with the memory of a great afternoon in downtown Buffalo. The attached restaurant is standard pub fare with surprisingly great local beer. And a server with a very warm personality.
Wow!!! Talk about a complete lack of respect and an uneducated general manager running this hotel. I was just downstairs trying to get some breakfast and the hotel general manager Jennifer Taylor kicked me out because of my service dog. This is against the Americans with disabilities act!!! The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go. An individual with a service animal may not be segregated from other customers and thats exactly what she did!!! Also, if you refuse to admit any type of service animal on the basis of local health department regulations or other state or local laws. The ADA provides greater protection for individuals with disabilities and so it takes priority over the local or state laws or regulations. She stated that I was not allowed in the breakfast area because it was not allowed by the health department. I even mentioned how ridiculous that sounds because Im allowed to enter a restaurant but not the downstairs breakfast area? How does that make about sense? It doesnt!!! Ive already filed a complaint with their 1-800 number but Im disappointed with the treatment Ive received from Days Hotel by Wyndham.
Perfect. Close to the airport ( we could see it). There was a restaurant /bar , a pool and exercise room. It was neat , clean and well decorated. Staff was friendly. Parking was adjacent in a big lot. In winter, put a shovel in the car ( it is Buffalo) even though the lot is plowed. There is a TIM HORTONS next door, a short walk away. The shuttle is 24 hrs. We left before the breakfast was out so I cant comment.
A cheap hotel directly across from the airport with free shuttle service. Delivers exactly what you would expect for the price. Its not a 5 star diamond experience, but the staff are friendly and helpful and its a great place to get some rest before an early morning flight.
Its a 100 sec dep that wasnt posted on their site nor any site however the pool has reopened with a 1 hr timeframe & a grab & go breakfast so 4 that reason along with being rite nxt 2 a tim hortons workedBonus was them selling good scout cookies which we boughtBad side is that housekeeping doesnt keep rooms clean & there was a guy who experienced this being told his room wld be cleaned & it wasnt even with him offering 2 clean it himself or be present they still gave him a hard time & charged him 2x which wasnt fair 2 him
I had to look at the address twice to see if the reviews that were 3+ was at the same hotel we booked. Anyway, we did the Priceline match deal where you are guaranteed a 3 or 4+ hotel for a deal and got matched with this one.We checked in, and checked out as soon as possible. This place needs to be shut down and renovated. Its beyond filthy, outdated, and just all around awful.
Average hotel - 2 star. Of the only two elevators, only one works. And its very slow. You want to stay as high up as possible due to noise, but be prepared to walk up and down. DIY cafeteria-style breakfast buffet was mediocre. Our room was very clean, but lobby and public areas very worn. No in-room wifi - limited wifi at best in very small lobby.
12/19/15 I checked in to the adjacent room this Saturday for my sons 12th birthday sleep over along with 11 other boys. We entered the room to find a large amount of maggots behind the tv stand! We took pictures and video of this room in disgust. I went down to the desk where the receptionist and assistant general manager Maureen M. was standing. I addressed my complaint with the receptionist asking for some type of accommodation. The assistant general manager stood there very dismissive as I spoke the receptionist. The receptionist in fact gave me advice stating that, in the event a guest has booked a room and then on the day of check in, the rooms were over booked, the hotel would accommodate by sending over the payment to another hotel, along the chain in this area. When she asked the assistant general manager for this accommodation for us, she flat out said No! I was left with all of these children whos parents had dropped them off and a ruined night for my son on his birthday. I then asked for the corporate number to find out what they were willing to do above the multiple refusals and no accommodation from management. I spoke to a corporate representative on the phone for 1 hr with multiple requests to keep me on hold, to call Maureen and then tell me what Maureen said with no resolution of how they would be able to help me. By this time, i was appalled by not even an offer for another room. I spoke again to to Maureen and asked if she had gone up to the room to inspect. My son called my phone to tell me that a lady came up and told him, a 12 year old and stated to him, if you dont clear the room, we will charge you for a day. I was livid that she had spoken to a child in an adult manner and matter! I then asked if they would be able to accommodate us by using the hotel shuttle to take all of us to one central location. She and the corporate office, in unity stated that the shuttle would only travel to the airport! By this time, with no resolution with in almost 2 hours, they offered us to stay in another room. The treatment, dismissal and passiveness of the company put me in a place of disgust and regret! I did not want to stay there....EVER AGAIN after this experience! I ended up paying for a taxi service to bus all of the children to my house! NO STARS, POOR GUEST SERVICE FROM ON SITE MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE! ONLY OFFER WAS TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN CHAIN EVER AGAIN!
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. We come to the states every other weekend for being students at a college in Buffalo. We checked into our first room and FOUND BED BUGS, then went back to get another room and got that one and that room had BED BUGS TOO. Caught the bedbugs brought them to front desk and they didnt even care. Totally not sanitary-so disgusting please dont stay here!
Thank you guys so much. They dont look like much but never judge a book by its cover. My wife got this place before Christmas as a park and fly option. The price was so budget friendly that I didnt look forward to the free breakfast. Wow! was I wrong. The options were satisfying.Fast forward three weeks. We got back and as we suspected, the car wouldnt start. They offered to boost the vehicle. At first try, the vehicle wouldnt start (wind chill was -degrees C). Even in the cold, the gentleman offered to charge the boostpack and maybe try again later. On second try, he said we should take the shuttle rather than walk so I dont freeze (now this has gone above and beyond in my book). Luckily the vehicle started.Days Inn Buffalo is a 4 star service on a budget. The extra 1 star is for what the guy did for me and them being patient.I will definitely use here again

2021-11-01Everyone is very accommodating. Simple breakfast but its free. Pool needs some help. I have not gone in because it looks dirty, but Im weird about that kind of stuff. Ive stayed multiple times and when available they put me into the Same room, i feel comfortable there. Wake up call is nice and punctual.

2021-12-14Arrived hotel around 9:30pm and waited for half hour for the staff back to the front desk for check in WITHOUT even a sorry! The room was dirty and No hair dryer! Complain to the Expedia and the Manager whose name is Jennifer supposed call back, however no any phone call and she told she tried, I have all call list anyway, now understand why this hotel had such bad review! Never ever come back!

2021-11-22Hotel was not quite as advertised. Rooms were dingy, dated and dirty. “Fitness center” was small; both treadmills were broken. Pool was frothy looking with no lifeguard on duty (I did not swim in it). Bath towels were super small - think of Tarzan’s loin cloth. The complementary breakfast included warm orange juice cups, nutragrain bars, muffins and coffee- no where to sit down and eat. The area where it looked like you would eat was being used as a storage closet. Overall not a good experience. Would not stay there again. Gave it two stars because it did have hot running water and a bed (not comfortable) and if you’re using the airport, it’s very close.

2021-10-07Was transferred to a hotel with less services. Only notified upon arrival because I booked through a 3rd party service (who would have received their emails). New hotel had no breakfast service, one of the key reasons we booked here with a toddler.Staff was only interested in talking about HIS experience and effort in getting us sorted and felt very satisfied with finally getting us transferred at 1am, completely neglecting to think about our experience, at 1am, with a toddler, in their lobby. We had walked here from the airport because it was so close and got moved far enough away it required a shuttle.

2021-09-07There was a yellow stain on the closet lid in the bathroom, which was gross. The armchairs and the chairs in the room were very dirty. The bed sheets looked clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast is no breakfast, it is basically very low quality muffins and bars with tea and coffee. We had to eat somewhere else.

2021-07-31The room was comfortable, clean, and in reasonably good repair. The hotel wasnt too loud, and other guests were courteous toward one another. We were pleased with the general atmosphere. The covid-era continental breakfast was not very nutritious or good, but it is better than some hotels we have stayed at. (Prepackaged snack muffins and 4 oz orange juice cups with the foil lids.) The swimming pool was open, but there was an excess of chlorine in it, which made two guests have asthma attacks. Our eyes burned and turned red without even having to get in. My kids swam for a little while, and they still have sinus inflammation and burning eyes from it the next day.So basically, its a nice hotel, but maybe you should stay out of the pool. :)

2021-11-01This hotel was cheapest but cost too much. It should be motel prices. I travel twice a month, so i stay in hotels often. I had to come to my hometown for a funeral so i figured i didnt need to spend a fortune for a room i would only sleep and shower in. WRONG choice. This room was disgusting. They make you sign a form saying you have to pay $250 fee for smoking but the 1st room smelled like someone was locked in the room with a case of cigarettes for two months. The carpets were filthy, the shower was dirty beyond repair, and the desk had not been wiped down. So on to the next room... it didnt have a smell, shower was piled up dirt that could not be washed away, carpets visibly dirty, but it smelled clean. I get in bed, cause its now 430am, the sheets have blood and dirt on them. I call front desk and he thought i would come to front desk to not only get new sheets bit change bed myself. So after i go off, he finally brings new sheets for me to change. Sheets, no blanket. The new sheets were clean but worn and needed to be replaced. There were spots so worn that you could see through them, one more wash and it would be a hole. Needless to say, i do not recommend staying here. Its hotel price for motel quality, just stay at a motel they are cheaper.

2021-12-15Building including rooms poorly maintained. Breakfast was unacceptably sparse. Will never stay here again. Used to be a decent hotel 3-4 years ago.

2021-07-19This was the grossest hotel I have EVER seen. I am mind blown because people have given it a good review!? There were exposed wires in my families room, the carpet was peeling up with nails where my son could easily step on them, there were multiple bugs flying around the room, crumbs and dirt all over the floor, and the smell alone made us want to vomit. I stayed in the room 5 minutes and ran! Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. Do you self a favor and stay far away from this trash hotel.

2021-08-17Dirty rugs, stinky hallways, loud animals during my stay, bathroom sink outside the bathroom is not a good setup. Overpriced for what it is. Very outdated. The only good thing was the shower water temperature and the staff was nice.
