This is the worst place we have ever stayed. The first room had a terrible odor and a hole in the wall that was the size of a baseball. We were given another room. No smell or holes in the wall. The toilet seat fell off the toilet. The bath tut handle to turn the water on fell off the wall into the tub. I closed the bathroom door and there was blood on the floor.I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I can’t believe that Wyndham would allow the conditions we found. If I could leave NO stars I would.
Absolutely terrible. We showed up at 2:40 after traveling for 6+ hours to be told that our rooms are not ready. When we called back to confirm which room was not ready. The handicapped or the regular, we were yelled at. After we we did the 30 minutes they told us it would take for other room to be ready, we went back and he told us it would be an hour. We left and returned three hours later only to find out that our room was still not ready. When we told him that we were not taking no for an answer. He gave us a hotel key to a room. That someone was ALREADY occupying!!! This place is disgusting!
First, pool was not open even though website indicated that it was. Next, bathroom sink leaked every time you used it and got the bathroom floor all wet. Check out is at 11. At 9, yes I said 9, the housekeeper was knocking at the door wanting to clean the room right then. While she was in the room, another person came in to fix the sink. Meanwhile, were trying to get ready to leave, having to work around housekeeper and maintenance person. I must say, the night desk person was very sweet.
Terrible hotel. It is the worst one in the area. We chose to just drive the 4 hours home instead of stay the night. The guys at the lobby barely spoke English. The entire hotel smelled off. The fridge in the room didnt work. The bathroom door wouldnt shut because it was crooked. Cigarette burns on both beds. Definitely not worth 150 for the night. Very unhappy
Its filthy dirty. Great location but stains on everything, bedspreads with burn holes, shower curtain with what appeared to be blood, stains on even the headboards!! Lamp shades with caked dirt.I wrote Wyndham because their brand is on stuff and no one responded. Done with Wyndham. Cant trust that brand after that stay.
I was extremely disappointed in my stay at this hotel. Although I booked my room earlier this year, the reservation details were wrong when I checked in. The room smelled, the faucet handle was broken, the water was extremely hot from both the shower and the sink (and the temperature controls didnt work well), and it appeared as though the guestroom and the common areas hadnt been cleaned in a while. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, I would have been much more comfortable if the hotel was cleaner. When I checked out, the front desk attendant was more interested in watching tv than helping me. Overall, I didnt appreciate my stay, and will not be returning when I am back in the area.
Worst experience ever. Manager sleeping on couch in lobby,,lots and lots of drug activity, room nextdoor, was full of illegal activity, huge fighting, screaming, throwing things out the window. Manager is completely aware of all of it,and is completely useless. Feeling lucky to get out Alive. Will Never, Ever stay at Any Days Inn Anywhere Anytime Ever Again.
Hotel going out of business. No WIFI, no cable, no breakfast available anymore. Hotel allows locals to loiter where they yell, smoke, swear and make comments about customers passing by. Hotel smells of cigarettes. They are not maintaining cleanliness as well. I give a zero. Website still says they have these amenities but not true. Just stayed and I received non of the amenities above.
How is this place still in business and not shut down from the Health Department????? THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS! NOT CLEAN including blood on sheets, looked like blood on the bathroom door, unclean bathrooms, clumps of hair, ripped and torn chairs, very very disgusting.
Better than expected. Basic free continental breakfast was good. We had a choice of basics like cereal, waffles, sausage, eggs (the eggs I didnt care for since they were not as warm as I would have liked and were a little rubbery), coffee, juice and the like. The inside, including our room was recently renovated. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool room could use better lighting, but the pool looked clean, also the choice of low pile carpet looks out of place in the pool area, but makes slipping a lot harder. The only thing that might make the Inn a little more attractive is a little more attention to the outside landscaping. Overall, good basic inexpensive stay with helpful staff.
Overall the stay was fine. However, front desk checked me into a room that had only partial housekeeping... Bed was made but bathroom was untouched. It appeared used towels were there and hadnt been refreshed. Further, on second morning I found a note had been slipped under my door asking me to stop at front desk because they had lost my billing info.
This hotel is seriously unclean. Lobby and stairs were smelly. There were hair on the bed. Bathrooms were dirty. They have me a different room at my request but again i found hair on the bed and the blanket was ripped from inside. Finally i had to go to a different hotel. I would never suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. This hotel needs some serious cleaning.
Im not impressed with the quality of the rooms. They have a strong odour like cleaning agent. The carpets appear to be filthy or at least very worn. The rooms seem like they have been painted recently. The bathroom door is difficult to close due to the paint build up on it. The work doesnt seem to be done by professionals. The furniture is worn and old. The desk chair in our room was missing a lot of the material on the arms, seat and back. Almost as if an animal had been clawing at it. I mentioned to the desk clerk and it was replaced with the chair from the front desk. They just swapped them. The bathroom sink has a wooden deck spindle bracing it up. Most of the floor grout is back with enough off-white grout for you to know what it should look like. The ice machine was out of order but the clerk gave me directions to the grocery store down the street. When asked if the hotel was going to pay for the ice I was told no.I dont expect to be staying here in the future.
To look at their pictures online of this hotel you would think it was just an older hotel. I would have been fine with that as I have stayed in plenty of older hotels. However, this hotel is filthy! I wouldnt even think of letting my kids step foot in the bathtub it was so dirty. I didnt want them touching the bathroom door or floor. We wore our shoes at all times when we were in the room. We decided to stay at this hotel being that we had other family members staying here as well and we were literally just sleeping here. To add to our disgusting room, when we returned late that evening to the hotel, the people staying in the room next to us were partying (laughing, slamming their door with people going in and out and the smell of cigarette smoke permeating the hallway and our room) until 2:00am! The walls are paper thin. I tried calling the front desk several times hoping they would be able to contact the people staying in the room next to us to ask them to quiet down but to no surprise; no one answered. Needless to say, none of us got any sleep. The next morning I went to the front office to let them know about our poor experience and the lady was not surprised at all. She even told me that she thought the people next to us were going to be a problem but didnt have another room that was non smoking to put us in. She suggested that I contact the manager. I emailed him over a week ago and to no surprise I have not gotten a response. This hotel is definitely not worth the money they are asking for these rooms. Not that I would even think of using a pool if they had one but they advertise they have a pool and they dont. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
My daughter and I stayed here to attend a wedding. When I booked he room I was told there were only one bed rooms so I reserved it. When checking in I asked if any double were available and was told no. The lady asked me for the Visa I had the room booked under but I didn’t book with a Visa. The room was booked with my name and someone else’s card. After that all got straightened out we went to our room which dirty there was a bug-which appeared to look like a carpet bug crawling on the blanket, so when I moved the blanket the sheets were dirty and stained with yellow rings. The floors had no been vacuumed very well and the bathroom could have been cleaner. I then went to the desk and asked for a new room or the room to be cleaned. She said they one last room which was a double so we took it. This room may have been a little better but was still not cleaned as a hotel room should be. There was a dirty sock and fake eyelashes on the floor which leads me to believe it wasn’t vacuumed. The bathroom sink and shower was dirty and the fridge as well. The room had a smell. Infact others from the wedding went to Wegmans to buy air fresheners. I would have though for the price we paid the rooms would have at least been cleaned. The outlets inconvenient for 2 guests with the lamp being the only source so one lamp/outlet for 2 beds. I wondered if the air conditioner was even up to code the way it looked. We were given 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person so we had to ask for more almost immediately and the staff was not happy. I feel this hotel is below standards. If I had not already paid I would have left and stayed somewhere else. I do not recommend staying here.
Dirty sink not even cleaned. Blanket holes in it because of wear and age. WiFi works occasionally weak signal. TV remote didnt work. I had to control volume and turn it off manually. Front desk had to come down to my room to change input on TV to make it work however in morning I had the same problem. Girl at front desk didnt tell us that the outside door didnt work and we had to use door in main hall. So we tried for 5 minutes to get in our room in the cold.I have been traveling for 2 weeks and this is the worst place I have stayed in.
Hotel is way out of date. Got to our room and it was 42 degrees. Took forever for it to warm up. The tv remote didnt work. The bathroom is riddled with holes and worn out fixtures. The whole hotel seemed to not have heat, which made it uncomfortable. The breakfast area was nasty too. Chemicals and trash stored near bags of sugar, dirty tongs, expired milk, just disgusting. Will not ever stay here again. avoid.
Definitely dont recommend this place there is no pool like the website says there is no free breakfast and the place is very very dirty I dont know how there even able to be open seriously bad conditions in this place we had to clean our own bathroom and refrigerator and microwave unbelievable we ended up leaving also very loud place lots of strange things happening outside and inside
The worst I have ever stayed in. Hallway carpet ripped and dirty. Our bathroom was dirty and the door wouldnt close. The vinyl desk chair was ripped and large sections ripped right off. There were used coffee filters in the coffee maker. I would give this place less than one star if I could.
Let me say the staff was very polite but the rooms are very out dated and not clean at all. We rented a Jacuzzi room and couldnt use it because when you turn the jets on dark brown gonk with mildew would seep through. Horrible! So gross😷...They have a bad drain issue that needs to be resolved asap....Very disappointed to say the least. Ran home and took a hot shower with bleach
I wish there would be a 0 star review. Worst experience ever. From the moment you see the dirty door knob of your room to the floor that had never been cleaned, plus everything smells like cigarettes. The beds were all wrinkled under the sheets. Who knows if they even cleaned them. What a mistake this last minute reservation is.
*The owners as of September 30, 2017 only owned the place for 2 months, and seemed to be attempting to fix the place up. Still, the experience wasnt good. A) we wanted two double bedded rooms, however they messed up and booked a single and a double, but they let us use a cot. B) there was an exterminator there and beds in the trash C) a worker or someone was in our room, unknowingly and oddly, and didnt close the door. I am sure I closed my door and about 30 minutes later it was cracked open when I returned.
Very dirty, smelly, downtrodden. Rooms were in no way clean upon arrival, hairs in shower, bed, etc. Bed bug guards on mattress is less than assuring. Room smells like theres a serious mold issue from 1984 that was never checked out. Stayed here two yrs ago and it was much better then. Now, unfortunately, its impossible. Leaving for another place to sleep asap.
The whole place is dated wallpaper is peeling off the wall. I felt like I was going to be on an episode of Cops or Live PD. The lobby smelled like a public bathroom and there is no elevator to the 2nd floor. There is a reason they are the cheapest in town a d I think they are over charging at $106 a night. I literally felt like a pip was going to come to my door and offer up one of his women of the night.
Positive: Nothing.. Negative: Staff and manager. The bathroom sink was leaking and I told the situation to the person at reception(I think he was the manager) and requested him to change our room, he said he will send somebody to fix it which was unprofessional ... We went to Skaneateles Lake and when we came back the bathroom sink still was not working properly... Manners, attitudes and behaviour to the customers was unacceptable and I would not recommend to stay there to anyone....
Do not stay... if I could give it zero stars I would.. I have not stayed in any hotel that has looked like this. The room was dirty.. the closet to put your clothes in was beyond dirty. The bathroom had dirt everywhere.. besides needing a major update it just was not clean.. outlet cover missing.. bed sunk in middle.. carpet on stairs and in hallway were all torn.. I took many pictures and will be contacting the proper people.. a disgrace
4 star sevice for a 3 star motel. Heather at the front desk was very help full accommodating me with anything i needed during my stay, she definitely deserves a raise. The rates were the cheapest around and with the breakfast in the morning it was well worth it. Other guests were friendly and helpfull when asking about the surrounding area. Great place for family and sport team visits. Thank you
Days Inn was unacceptable. The bathrooms mirror was taped up. The tub had mildew. The door was broken and I felt unsafe in room 112. I was very tired from the five and half hours drive. I really didnt expect this from a Wyndham location. This place has no business being open. They didnt even oppologized for their mess. Even their ice machine was broken.I hope they get it together. No one should pay their money to placed in this situation.
The room was overpriced, the smoking room was the only room available, it was dingy, the door to the outside wouldnt lock, the only thing holding it shut was the chain.. the refrigerator smelled like someone had stored body parts in it. The bathroom counter was for a midget, not to mention it was stained. The carpet was stained. It was all around sketchy and the pillows were old and flat.
Arrived early, but had to wait for time for check in. Room was clean ,but missing towels. Received towels a little later. The volume of room tv could hardly be heard. Still waiting for manager to fix for us. There is no volume button on the tv. Remote is only for cable. We are on 2nd floor.
Understandable its not a high end hotel but you should not be paying a $100 a night of your hard earned money to stay in a dirty room with a broken toilet seat the owners should be ashamed of the accommodations provided its in a prime spot but not maintained at all, simple does not mean stink. Could go on and on but check other places waste of a review on this place its not even worth a star at all.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights because the company I work for booked it since it was the cheapest place around. The rooms look rundown with filthy carpets and bad odor and the walls are full of holes and housekeeping does a very poor job. I would not recommend this hotel too anyone
The carpet in the on the stairs was frayed, The Refrigerator did not work, there was no microwave, and the light switch between the beds did not work. These were fixed but they never should have happened. The sheets came off in the middle of the night because they were not fitted sheets. The only reason we stayed was because we were in Auburn for a funeral. If i have to stay here I will not come to Auburn.
Its a pretty decent establishment, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. Also the hotel is centrally located near the downtown area for food and drinks, although there isnt much shopping to be had. Plus its located right next to the Auburn Y.M.C.A. so if you have a Y pass youre in luck.
Get what you pay for. Usually for breakfast days inn have a waffle maker. Not at this one. On wyndham rewards website they have an indoor pool. They dont. This is a really old motel. Businesses put there workers up here because of the rates. Was not a very quiet place. Either needs to be updated or made into a knights inn. Wyndham rewards also had on site that they have truck parking. Um not really good thing I was bobtailing
The room smelled musty upon entering. The carpet was dirty to the point where my feet were turning black from walking around the room barefoot. There was also noticeable dust/dirt along the boarders of the room on the floor. Additionally, we were also not provided with the usual complimentary toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Positive: I was dismayed to see some people packing away most of the fruit. It was replenished but I dont think it was right what they did. Also no single use peanut butter and jam. So I watched a man, make a jam sandwich and sneeze over the open jam jar that everyone was expected to use. Also they ran out of boiled eggs.. Negative: Single use peanut butter and jam. Maybe some single use cream cheese to use with the little bagels, then if the eggs ran out there would be another option for protein..
This place suck its has bedbug they never clean the rooms this place is dirty as hell its gross i stay in this dirty place they are mad rude to people that stay there i keep getting bit up and they need came in to clean my room at all intill i left that place so if you stay there dont bring your kids that will get bit up because they have bedbug......yeah nasty ass place ever
Moquette in camera..

2022-05-20Service is very slow. Rooms were moderately clean but the blankets and sheets had stains on them. The price was very cheap and it was what we needed for our short getaway

2022-05-28I made a booking through Booking.com. After an exhausting 6 hour drive in a thunderstorm on winding Vermont and New York roads, I arrived to Days Inn with my printed out confirmation in hand. There was no one at the desk, though I could see they were in a room just off the front desk area. I called out “hello!” to no response. I saw a sign to dial a number on a little phone by the desk to call someone. It just called the hotels number, lol. A man came out and immediately upon seeing my print-out said that they didn’t have any rooms. When I gave him my name, he clicked in his computer twice and said “we don’t have you in our system, and we don’t have any more rooms.” We went back and forth, me offering the name I go by (rather than my given name), showing the confirmation emails I received directly from Wyndam, showing my payment information, even having Booking call him to talk to him. His response remained the same with the occasional “I don’t know what to tell you!” He never typed anything into the computer. He revealed to the Booking.com guy that there were two rooms with leaks, so I think I was booked into one of them and he didn’t want to admit it. I booked the room because it was the cheapest one I could find in this area, so I wasn’t expecting much. But for what it’s worth: the lobby was in a sorry state. Messy, smelled mildewy, and haphazardly placed furniture. I noticed a sign stating their complimentary “breakfast” of bagels was no longer offered. On the way out, an unusually awake man came into the lobby and asked me for a cigarette. Do what we did: go to the Holiday Inn down the street. Only $40 more than I was going to pay for the Days Inn by Wyndam, and has a heated pool, hot breakfast, a restaurant, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

2022-01-10This motel doesnt deserve so much as one star. Besides the general rundown and disgusting condition of the motel there is suspicious activity both inside and outside the property which is apparently overlooked and seemingly allowed by the employees/management.On October 10th, 2021, I stayed at this Days Inn upon making a last minute decision to spend the night in Auburn, NY. Room availability in the area that evening was very limited. Through a booking service two rooms were reserved since we were under the impression that Days Inn was a reputable motel chain. Was I surprised by what we encountered!!The male at the reception desk was inefficient and quick to make excuses to remove blame from himself for mistakes that were obviously his. As we checked in, he appeared nervous while glancing furtively at a group of men who entered the reception area from somewhere inside the motel. The men loitered for several minutes before eventually drifting out the front door. I later returned to the reception area and saw the same male clerk standing in the interior hallway in conversation with two other men who quickly left when the clerk gave them a telling look as I entered the front door. On both occasions there was a distinct furtiveness to his manner.it took the clerk three tries before he could produce a working room key to unlock an unoccupied room. The first key provided unlocked the door to an already occupied room where a man was lying on the bed. A subsequent key to a different room failed to open the door at all. Finally on the third attempt at a third room, the key card opened the door successfully to an unoccupied room. The clerk excused these issues as being the fault of the cleaning crew and not himself.Upon entering the downstairs hallway carrying our luggage, a young man in his late teens or early twenties came riding towards us on a bicycle with a toddler riding on the handlebars. They exited the motel through a glass side door into the parking lot while still on the bike. My experience of staying in hotels or motels has never included such behavior!! As I walked the hallway back to my room, I could hear the loud voices of many people gathered inside numerous rooms. Throughout the night there was the sound of activity in the hallways and a combined scratching/knocking on the doors and then on the wall between my room and the adjacent one. I pushed the occasional chair up against the door in an effort to create noise to wake me in the event of someone opening the door during the night. However, sleep was evasive so my efforts were unnecessary. The physical condition of the motel is very rundown and an unpleasant odor permeates throughout. The carpeting, particularly on the stairway, was threadbare and the hand rail was so sticky i was repulsed by having touched it. There were cigarette burns in the blanket and the bathroom walls and sink were dirty. The bathroom door would not close completely.Since this unpleasant stay, my efforts to share these experiences and obtain a refund from Days Inn have fallen on deaf ears. The customer service representative has made no direct replies to any of the numerous issues at the property which need to be addressed. She stated that the only way to get a refund is through the company which booked the rooms.More important than my refund is that negative reviews for this location have been posted over the last four years. Many disappointed travelers have written about not only the rundown physical condition of the motel but the suspicious nature of much of the activity there. Days Inn and their parent company Wyndham should be ashamed and are complicit if they fail to take measures to take corrective action. I have reported what i observed to the Auburn Police Department.

2021-05-31Terrible experience, I was moved between two non-smoking rooms, both which reeked of smoke and one had a cigarette burn on the bedspread. staff was very rude when I asked to switch rooms, even with telling them I was allergic to smoke/tobacco. Decided to fight through the night because all the rooms smelled of smoke and there were no open hotels nearby. I complained to the manager the morning after because I had a really rough night with my allergies and asthma and all I got was Im sorry. Nothing. The bathroom was also covered in hair from past guests, meaning they didnt do a thorough or any cleaning job at all. I will never be staying here or at any Days Inn again. I dont have high expectations for hotels, I roadtrip a lot and stay in many 2 star hotels for the price, but this was definitely a 1 star hotel that should not even be running anymore. The only good thing was the wide selection of TV channels.

2021-08-18Ill be honest, you guys need to do better. Stuff looks dingy. Windows not clean. Toilet seat was broken. Lights were not turning on with the switch and the overhead in the doorway was broken. The area info you provided in two drawers is for an area 4 hours away in a different state! The TV I had to figure out what setting to put it on myself, no instructions provided, and no channel guide provided, and no continental breakfast provided.I think Wyndham expects better.

2021-08-24Absolutely disgusting, filthy. Wouldnt go back there on a bet. Dirty microwave. Black stains in the bathtub. Broken window sill. Rips on the chair upholstery. Cobwebs around the window. No elevator, you have to use the stairs. Breakfast area is about the size of a bathroom. Very poor breakfast selections. The two desk clerks didnt look clean enough to be employees. The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because I couldnt give it a zero or minus.

2021-07-18Wife and I were going on a dinner cruise for our anniversary and decided to make an evening of it and got this hotel room. It sounded nice, king size bed, pool and hot tub for amenities, but when we got there we had a queen size bed, not really a big deal but I was expecting a king. Then we wanted to drink some champagne and sit by the pool, so we asked the front desk where the pool was and he said at the YMCA about a half block away!!!! Thats not hotel amenities!! Other than those couple of things, our trip was ok.

2021-10-30Filthy! Hallway smelled of urine and vomit. Ppl screaming and fighting in ?? nearby rooms. Garbage in hallways. This place should be demolished. Not safe. DO NOT STAY HERE!I have pics and videos! Had to leave quickly. Never should have checked in
