What a cool concept - a wrestling 🤼♂️ themed bar! Immediately reminded me of back in the day watching the DDT wrestling maneuver.Reviews are spot on. This is delicious food. That cheese steak totally hits the spot cooked so well. Tastes better than the Tony Lukes that opened up around here, too!And that fried chicken is nice and crispy. This will be a great place!
We randomly found this bar and didnt know that it was all about wrestling. Ive never watched it in my life but boy was it fun! The cocktails were good, the staff is super nice, even helped explained what was happening in the wrestling match! I didnt get the chance to try the food but they had waffle fries on the menu, come on!
Awesome bar and very chill atmosphere (even with the WWE going on in the background). The owners are husband and wife team (the wife made our drinks). I had The Chair and found it refreshing. The other favorite drink ordered by our group was The Atomic Drop because it comes with a slice of dried orange with poprocks on top and youre supposed to take a bite and sip your drink for a flavor blast. Friend ordered a hotdog and ate it in like 30 seconds so I think he enjoyed it(?) Highly recommend.
The vibes & people, the Staff, the Food, the drinks is awesome, great especially when they have they ppv events it be soo litty 🔥🔥🔥...listen people i recommend this spot for a date night or just to hang out by yourself or go there with a group of friends all that matters is DDT will make u feel welcome there
Ive been meaning to try out this little jewel box of a bar and restaurant for a few months and Im so thrilled I finally did. It was fantastic! The menu is simple but everything we had was executed perfectly--delicious, comforting and memorable. The cocktails were out of this world and made with interesting and top shelf ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and the owners were there and were delightful. Its a great neighborhood spot that Ill definitely be stopping into regularly for an easy, tasty dinner in the hood. They have some cute outdoor seating on Union and are seating at the 25% Covid capacity and its spacious and felt safe.
We happened upon this place while out for a walk and we’re so glad we went in. The drinks are startlingly original, with refreshing and unusual flavors. For food, I can recommend the hotdog (with everything) and the vegan quesadillas with dipping sauce.I can’t wait until indoor dining opens to enjoy the curated space inside, complete with plush seating and gloriously kitschy art in tasteful color and design patterns.
If I could give this place more than five stars, I WOULD. First of all *cracks knuckles*, my fiance told me it was a wrestling bar (it kind of is, but walk with me...), so I wasnt sure (I am not good with the sports) if this would be my spot. HOWEVER -- let me say: this place is a PHENOMENAL cocktail bar. Park Slope, you magical, tropical fish of bubble teas and random toy stores that make no sense: you need this place; we all need this place. The cocktails are crafted to perfection, the barware will keep you up at night wondering, Where did they get it?!! *Googles feverishly to no avail* -- And then theres the service. Wow. Just wow. The couple that owns the joint are amazingly friendly, the bartender was *the* sweetest who shared a shot of delicious purple magic with us (I dont know what its actual name is) -- it was some witchcraft of deliciousness and Ive (clearly) refused to forget it. They also had Twin Peaks and Dr. Who playing on their TVs. Damn, I love this bar.
Despite the dire situation were in right now, this bar/pub is overall amazing. First off, the atmosphere is very vibrant and welcoming. Even though theyre currently known as a bar, and currently dont have the license to serve alcohol, their cocktails are superb. Not to mention that this is only their cocktails, but their waffle fries are amazing as well. Their chicken thighs, were also amazing and its so tender. Fell in love with their flavours on the chicken, you would definitely want to try it out. Since this bar/pub opened during these tough times, as they didnt expect this pandemic would hit this hard, I want to let you guys(readers of this review thread) know that theres not just the negatives right now, but theres also positives like this bar/pub right here. Theyre implementing certain measures such as social distancing, sitting outside of the bar/pub, so you can feel safe when you visit. Needless to say, I really recommend this place a visit.
The Décor and wrestling ambience Has me looking around every time I go in and always finding something new. It a family friendly spot witch is run by and great couple.my kid loves the chicken and DDT sauce also the cookies.wife had the hot dog and loved the Sauerkraut as well as the vegan cheese quesadilla. I had the philly cheese which was good but the Burger is a sleeper I didnt think it was gonna be that juicy very surprised. We are the cheese fries and a chilli fries and chilli fries had everybody looking like i need that in my life. Now be mindful it is a 2 team operation With a small kitchen that all the food came out great and tri the triple H beer and well mixed drink.
My roommate and I stumbled across this place while out biking and were huge fans now--I got the cheese steak sandwich (delicious) and she ordered the fried chicken and loved it! Also the seasoned fries are the perfect touch to either meal. The owners are also VERY nice and easy-going people. 10/10 :)
Cheesesteak was great! Service was also amazing. My order came pretty late because of issues with the connecting a delivery driver from seamless but the restaurant contacted seamless on my behalf, kept a me updated through the whole process, and included a free tea even though they were not at fault.
Truly one of the great neighbourhood bars of Brooklyn! Want a basic drink? It’s a bar! But beyond the standard rail, lurks cocktails that amplify what a neighbourhood bar can be. The same applies for the food; what seems to be a basic bar menu is just elevated. Truly a phenomenal place.
My husband and I have been waiting for DDT to open all winter, so its unfortunate that corona happened when it did. Its the first place to open in the area in 5 years we have looked forward to! The space looks great and we can’t wait to sit at the bar. In the mean time we just ordered 2 burgers, fries and a hotdog for pick up and everything is delicious! Way to under promise and over deliver! We will see you at the bar as soon as you open. Thank you DDT!
Picked up a pepperjack cheese streak sandwich and some fried chicken for lunch. Usually cheese steaks are a soggy greasy mess, but this one was great. The grilled peppers and onions were perfectly ratioed to the meat. The chicken was wonderfully flavored, and the DDT sauce was a nice complement to it. The chicken was a little over cooked, but still tasty. Definitely will be back for more of both!

2021-12-26Wow, this place is incredibly special. This is a wrestling themed bar. And there are some cool masks and posters very tastefully decorating the place. However the thing that blew me away was the selection of drinks, and the knowledge and care with which they are served. There is a stupendous array of delicious Japanese whiskey on offer. And Suzy the resident mixologist (and co-owner with her husband Randy) is as knowledgeable as she is enthusiastic. Whether you know your liquor or not she will be your guide to a wonderful cocktail experience.I had a brilliant time and I literally cant wait to go back. There was way too much I wanted to try for one visit.10/10, simply aces. A premium experience.

2022-01-16What a hidden gem. Gorgeous whiskey selection. WWF videos playing from the 90s. And the freshest baked choc chip cookies made to order, to be dipped into a glass of Amarula on the rocks. Rocky Horror Picture Show plays every night at midnight, because why dafuq not. Sad I didn’t discover this place sooner! Such friendly and lovely folks running the place too. Thanks Suzie for the hospitality!

2021-06-26What a great neighborhood bar. Went here for the first time and I love everything about it. First, it has a really cool wrestling theme and some cool memorabilia. I am an avid wrestling fan, so it is a nice touch. The drinks are great and the food is just as good. The service is personable and fantastic. They really try to get to know their guests. I recommend their made to order cookies for desert. Conveniently located on Union Street in Park Slope, BK. Go check them out, I highly recommend!!!!

2022-07-02Combining techniques from molecular gastronomy and dehydration with a vast arsenal of globally and locally sourced spirits and ingredients, Suzy is hands down the finest mixologist in New York City. Shes also a lovely hostess. Go here and be amazed.

2021-12-18This is one of the best bars I have ever been to!!! Suzy is incredible. Her knowledge of drinks and cocktails is unparalleled. Stumbled across this place by accident, and it ended up being the best night I’ve had in a long time. Amazing vibe. Incredible drinks (especially if you like whiskey, and Japanese whiskey). John and Randy are also amazing. Can’t wait to try more drinks and the food, will be back for sure. Fantastic experience!

2021-12-12My wife and I had a great time at the only pro wrestling themed bar in NYC! It was totally worth the 30-minute subway ride from Manhattan. The employees were very personable, and the mixed drinks were some of the best we’ve had! We will definitely be back!
