This is a cool spot. Took a star off for the location and not great signage. Restaurant is on a side street on the fringe of flushing. Back to my review. This place has a great take on wings... they stuff them. I first had a stuffed wing while touring asia. Upon return I was curious as to why no one else did this. Boy was I glad to hear about Debasaki. I gathered up some friends and we went here for dinner. They were able to accommodate our part of 8. Restaurant decor has kind of a cool lounge feel. It is a bit dark inside. Good for a romantic date I guess if wings can be romantic. Food was really good. Some of the best wings in Queens. Definitely worth the trip if you have been sitting on the fence wanting to try it.
The food was great and the service was amazing. Very patient and polite staff that will explain what everything is. The stuffed wings were very good the maple bacon sweet potato fries were smokey sweet and salty at the same time. The pork chop was so tasty with the sauce and rice. I really liked the buzzer system. This way you are never looking for the wait staff. BTW they still checked in on you to make sure everything was alright. The stuffed wings are very big so you really cant eat as many as the regular wings!
I love the stuffed chicken wings here at Debasaki! Especially the one with cheese corn. Every time I come with friends that would be their favorite out of all the flavors.I also really enjoy the chorizo fried rice but it does get pretty spicy! Their passion fruit cider is also really good and taste like juice. The ambience here is pretty dark and usually the music doesn’t match the music video on the screens which I find funny 😆I would definitely continue coming here in the future because their stuffed chicken wings are so delicious! Also the service here is great and we usually get seated right away. There was one time that we had to wait about a hour with a large party with about 8 people.
Good portions. Large wings come with 14 not sure if it says on the menu. Wings were good the corn and cheese stuffed is a must try not many places I know have stuffed wings. The chorizo fried rice was very peppery and spicy to me also seemed just like hotdog not really chorizo. Onion rings were not oily at all and broke into pieces cleanly. The maple bacon fries were okay just tasted like sweet potato fries though. Everything was super crispy.
I came with a group and ordered half and half with dbsk and sweet soy garlic wings. The wings were really good and surprisingly even the lawn clippings (lettuce?) And radish were really good too.The service was great at this place because they had a call button for the waiters if you needed anything which is what all restaurants should have, for efficiency.I had some of the sweet and spicy wings also and they were also really good. I would go to this place again if given a chance.
Authentic stuffed chicken wings along with traditional wings are available for purchase. Enjoy the large selection of beer to match with your fried wings or some more traditional Korean dishes kicked up a notch. The kimchi fried rice and stuffed wings is one of the routine items we get when we eat here. Enjoy the crunch of that stuffed wing!
I really liked this place. It had a lounge feel to it, but I went on a Sunday just as it opened, so that threw me off. But the service was great. I got the sweet and spicy and the garlic wings and they were good. Very crispy and made to order so you are going to have a little bit of a way. Accepts cash and credit. Beers were on the hipster choice, a lot of indie type of beers.
Writing the review while eating because of how bad the experience is. Starting off, the place is a little pricey, but you get a lot of food and it’s not too bad. Definitely not the best food I ever had, but it’s decent. Starting off, they told us they can’t split the check more than two ways, and with a party of 6 with different payments, it’s very inconvenient. Next up was our sides (fries) came out 10-15min before our chicken, with 4 sauces (two types) for six people, which doesn’t make much sense but I digress. The next thing was a friend ordered the Chorizo rice, which tasted funny and was way too spicy, and when we asked if we could switch it for something else, and pay the difference, they refused. Imagine going to a restaurant, getting food that is physically too spicy, and then not being able to switch it whole footing a $13 dollar bill for it. The only positive of the place was the service was nice and friendly, as well as it being a clean, nice atmosphere.Edit: upon paying, and giving the check back after signing, we were stopped from leaving and asked “the tip was under 10%, was there anything wrong with the food or service” When we told them that we were refused a new dish they replied “if you told us after one bite you could have changed it, but it was halfway done.” Instead of apologizing we got that, and then the cold shoulder as the waitress walked away, and didn’t even apologize for the situation.
Great food and service. Love the little booths. Music is pretty loud, and the guys love the huge screen playing sports games. I mean - whats better than beer, korean wings and sports? Love the stuffed gyoza wings - you can ask for a specific flavor, or mix it up and play chicken roulette. The place only is open in the evenings after 6 PM though, and street parking is sometimes difficult, especially since its the shadier side of Flushing.
Will always love this place for their stuffed wings! Get it mixed so you can play roulette and see who gets the spicy one! :) Such a fun game to play amongst a group of friends. My favorite is the cheese corn and garlic shrimp. And it pairs so well with soju! Can never go wrong coming to this place as theres so many options to choose from - rice cakes, truffle fries, kimchi fried rice and more! Im drooling just thinking about it...
I went here with a friend and it was great the food was delicious 👌. Had fried rice with Kimchi in it was a little hasitent but it was great. Then the special wings fried wings some had shrimp some had Kimchi and some had corn stuff in them. Delicious highly recommend it⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Nice place to enjoy stuffed fried chicken wings and drinks after a long day of work. Food is consistent and tasty. I recommend the stuffed wings and budae jigae. They have quite an assortment of local and imported bottle beers. Their pitchers of soju slushes are quite refreshing. Love that the servers are out of your way and only show up when you buzz for them.
-----About the food------This restaurant has a traditional cantonese style dishes. Highly recommend the razor clams in black bean sauce, it turned out quite good. You also cant go wrong with the seafood longevity noodles; this place makes them great. If youre a broke college student like me, coming here for dinner is not the best idea. Prices range from $18-$25+ per dish. My only pet peeve about this place is that theyre quite stingy on more pricier items. For a $25 dish, I kind of expected more than 2 shrimp in one plate. Nevertheless, it was still tasty.-----About the service------I came here a bit past dinner time (around 9pm) and service was great. It may be due to the fact that there were only 5 tables but they were friendly and liked to talk to their customers. A big plus. They also give you a complimentary hot towel before you start your meal. Another plus. Overall, service is good. Food is o-k
Came late-ish after a long day of eating, so, we werent exactly hungry.Nevertheless, the stuffed wings hit the spot. Id recommend the kimchi cheese.. we tried the spicy crab and it didnt really work for any of us.Love the semi-private booths and the k-pop music videos in the background.
Having lived in South Korea for 2 years, this restaurant is the beautiful blend of what happens when one has been raised in the United States, but also has actively retained the Korean culture. It is a delicious blend of both cultures harmoniously coming together while retaining both without sacrifice.I would love to visit fushions like this from other cultures.
Strange location - deserted in the middle of Farrington in Flushing. Kind of sketch but no worries. Nothing will happen to ya.The ambiance of this place is totally unexpected. Even from the outside you wouldnt expect it to look the way it does. Typical Korean drinking spot atmosphere.Their gyoza stuffed wings were. OMG. So unexpectedly good! We got the shrimp stuffed wings and I was in chicken wing heaven. Our table ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Kimchi fried rice, donkatsu, wings, gyoza stuffed wings, some weird salad dish thats not really a salad (with snails?), clam and mussel soup (bland) and probably some more.Everything was really good- but DBSK is known for their gyoza stuffed wings, which actually come in other variations. Wine/beer only - no liquor. Great Korean style drinking food!
Stuffed chicken wings! Stuff with KIMCHI! Debasaki is the only place around that has good fried chicken and special stuffed fried chicken. Definitely get some of the kimchi stuffed ones, those can create world peace. Everytime I order too much cause I forget I only have one stomach, its that good. Flavoring and stuffing both on point! Our waiter was also super attentive with a great memory, he took all the orders with his mind...Also the restaurant is cool, hipster touches with some club thrown in.
With all the buzz surrounding Debasaki, I was really expecting more. I wasnt expecting the club scene decor or the loud techno and dance music. The private booths were nice with a buzzer to call for service. This is bar food at its best but nothing compared to Thai angel wings or stuffed wings at Ippudo. The stuffed chicken wings gyoza is overrated. It is quite novel as you dont know what you are eating until you take a bite. The chicken can be stuffwed with cheese, jalapeno, or other fillings such as corn. Other recommended items are the Masago bbq and Seafood Fried Rice without cheese. Wash it all down with a pitcher of Sapporo.
Stuffed chicken wings are to die for!! Debaski is known for their signature wings that are butterflied, stuffed with corn, kimchi, shrimp, hot peppers or veggies, then battered shut and deep fried. Though it might sound like a hot mess, its quite convenient to eat since they take the bones out. The batter is seasoned with a sweet sauce, and the meat inside is juicy. One more unique aspect is the seating, individual cubicles for privacy and ease of chatting with friends. Dont forget to use the service button on the side, they show up within seconds to cater to your needs!! Definitely my favorite korean chicken spot, bonchon, kyochon and mad for chicken got nothing on debasaki!
Went with my boyfriend for my birthday! The wings (which werent really wings to be honest) were great, we ordered 2 of each flavor and the shrimp one and corn one were our favorites.I ordered the kimchi fried rice and it was wonderful, if only it had a bigger portion for the $12 price (pretty expensive in Flushing!).They raised the price for the wings too I heard but it isnt too bad for once in a while. I think its more of a place you go to drink and hang out with a group rather than a date place, though.
The atmosphere in the store is very good and comfortableThe fried chicken is super delicious, half sweet spicy and half sweet soy garlicThe large portion has 20 pieces of small fried chicken, both flavors are deliciousThere is also a plate of pickled radishes to eat withLate night food ❤️
Surprisingly hidden menu Spicy donkotsu ramen which came out after drinking It was really delicious Ramen lover I want to try it It was the most delicious among the several groups of bayside and flushingIf you do business even during the day I would go often ㅠ I want to eat again

2021-09-12I’ve been here twice now. Most recently came here for my birthday and it was such a good time. Sometimes a lot of restaurants play their music too loud, or it’s too loud in general but this was perfect. I was able to talk to my friends without having to shout or go “what” every other second. Most of all I got to spend time with them over amazing food. The chicken and fries are perfectly crisped, and the menu is really extensive. There’s so much to choose. The service is also excellent, the waiters are really pleasant. The place is a 15 min walk from Main St train station and a little bit hidden - but it’s worth a visit.

2022-07-13The BEST Korean wings. I’ve tried several wings and coming from someone who doesn’t like dry bar wings- these leave an pleasant impression every time. Along with their Cajun wedges. Amazing. I hope they re-open:/

2019-01-13Staff was great, friendly, quick. The chicken wings and curly fries had a great crispiness and flavor, definitely my favorite. I really liked the Mayo dip for the fries too. The other foods were pretty good, but you wont be disappointed with the wings and fries. Great spot for meeting with friends

2019-01-30From the outside, I wouldn’t have guessed there was such a trendy place inside. They are famous for their deep fried wings - famous for a reason as the wings were delicious - try their house DBK sauce as it isn’t spicy but full of flavor. The chicken wing dumplings was a great choice for those lazy with bones. There was a longer than expected wait for the food. Service was friendly though.

2021-06-04Literally one of my favorite restaurant their stuffed gyoza wings are to die for! I always get the shrimp stuffed and cheesy corn stuffed. Its pretty pricey brcause of the amount of effort making the stuffed wings. The restaurant has like a bar vibe kind of feel, very modern and they have plenty of unique beer drinks too. Their other dishes is delishes as well like for example the Seafood Dobuki is bomb too. I always get the Cheesy Mozzarella Cajun Onion Rings. Insanely cheesy and the onion ringd are huge too. But the highlight is always the stuffed gyoza wings! I feel like no one knows about this place and I am always telling people to go go go. So underrated and I severly love this place!

2018-11-25Debasaki is a clean, hip, modern place that stays open late. We were hungry for late night wings and read some good reviews on their wings. Their small portion is $15 and I believe 12 wings, which honestly is a little much for most people. We got the half and half for $25 and split it between 3 of us. We tried DBSK wings and then the stuffed wings (corn cheese). I’m just not a huge fan of “sweet” flavored wings and they both had a sweet flavor to it. The stuffed wings really wasn’t anything to write home about.. I wouldn’t get it again. Service was good though and it was cool that they have a button you can press when you need the waiter. I wouldn’t mind coming here again, but I would try something else.

2018-12-31I think this is my favorite place to pig out on wings. There really isn’t anywhere better for Korean style chicken wings. The DBSK wings are extremely addicting and you’ll be wanting to come back for more. The truffle fries, seafood rice cake (떡볶이) with udon, chorizo fried rice, the list goes on, but they’re all too delicious! Also doesn’t hurt that they got a nice long list of beers and soju mixes

2017-12-01This wings spot is a nice spot for dates and reminiscing. They are most known for the gyoza stuffed wings. They come in a variety of corn cheese, spicy corn cheese, kimchi cheese, and shrimp garlic.Out of sheet habit for eating wings, Id bite the middle of it and avoid the bones but there werent any bones there. Fortunately, the gyoza wings were an ample amount of flavor and edible meat and I enjoyed the unique experience quite a lot. I came back twice to visit. The service was very nice and there was also a button you could press to request your waiter. They would give some complimentary chips when we first sit down but it was a little salty for our tastes.Quality of the other foods was okay. They also had this wasabi tobiko shrimp fried rice. That one was very unique and was much enjoyed.I didnt like the jalapenos cheese bites too much because I felt like it lacked the spicy kick found in most jalapenos bites.

2019-01-06Never did I think you could stuff chicken wings of all things, but there it was...and it was delicious. The spicy and sweet wings are 👌. The staff was awesome, as was the service.
