Last week we flew to NY to pick up a Sea Ray 510 Fly and deliver it to Tampa, FL. Within an hour of leaving the marina, we experienced a hard grounding. I called a local boat broker and he recommended Delmarine. He told me he would contact the owner, Chris, and get back to me. Based on the hour (5:00 pm), I did not expect a call until the morning. To my surprise, I received a call from Chris right away. We told him our intention was to stay out on anchor and bring the boat to the marina at first light. He gave us his cell number, told us to call when we were an hour out and he would have the bay and lift open and waiting. We called an hour out, pulled into the marina to 5 people waiting to guide us in. They lifted the boat immediately, blocked it and began assessing damage. Within 2 hours, the props and one shaft had been removed and were on the way to shops equipped to repair them. We then discussed other items that should be addressed while on the hard.Today is 8 days past the grounding. All repairs have been made and the boat is scheduled back in the water tomorrow. Communication with Chris and his team has been outstanding and the cost of the repairs has been reasonable.Delmarine is an outstanding yard. They have done everything they said they would do including some things they found and fixed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Delmarine to any local or transient boater needing yard services. They delivered a service experience well above any expectation.

I have used this boat yard for many years. Chris (owner) has always treated my boat as if it were his own. They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive. But, Chris is a straight shooter which is rare in the boat yard world.

Chris and the crew did some outstanding work on my Robalo when the tank rotted away. Couple years later, new boat, but wouldnt change my marine mechanic. They are as professional and honest as they come.
