Bad service, bad airlines, unprofessional staff, extremely rude supervisor ( ROY ) the They told me that the last time to enter the bags is 45 minutes ago, and I delivered the bags an hour ago, the employee tried to take the baggage account twice and then asked two other people to help her because she does not know how to operate the system and then she told me that I have to pay for the bags again even though I paid in advance and I must He asked to return the amount, so I did so, but the payment was not made because the amount was basically paid, in the end the plane flew without me and the staff told me that they would book a hotel for me. Then ( ROY ) the supervisor said the mistake is from me and he will not help me, and he indicated that I have to book a hotel at my expense and take a plane the next morning, it was very uncooperative and rude and does not rise to the level of an supervisor , bad company and unqualified employees.. they rued my honeymoon and made me pay double because I had to take other flight through another company
TSA rules are no gels allowed over 3.4oz. Mine were thrown out because apparently the rule is no gel of any size - funny considering we all travel with gel hand sanitizer. Looks like some of the staff dont know the rules properly so be wary and pack accordingly (check your gels in, or separate in your carry on if more than 2x3.4oz) while traveling.
Been flying with delta for the past year until a few days ago that my flight was delayed 6+ hours because the airline did not have a pilot to fly the place and no staff to load the suitcases to the plane. I have a newborn baby and this just made it hard for me than what already was… coming back from my trip the same happened l. 6+ hours delayed again with my newborn and the staff at the RSW AIRPORT ( DELTA) Was horrible ; specially a lady called TRISHIA… She did not allow me to board the plane and gave my family seats to stand by people; which I personal hear from one staff who said it. I was there basically all day long and I even saw the plane leave 1 hour later. I was traveling for a death in the family and this was so stressful. I personally can say that delta would be my last option when flying again. If I could give no start , I would!!! No compensation from the airline ; not even a kind email after all the emails I have already sent…
I liked the experience with Delta, 1st time flying with them. I missed my flight going to and from LAX to JFK and I was accommodated on the next flight. Food was served at no charge. Food. Not snacks. We got 2 rounds of beverages & snacks. The flight was on time. No complaints here.
Michael Cacieras in terminal D LGA finally answered call from Sarah (gate agent) requesting help way after she was calling for a rush 5 times so we can make the flight. My 2 sons were already on plane. They were insisting we check our carry on because there was no room. But My son on plane texted and told us there was plenty of room. Sarah pretended to go on airline and look. My son showed her there was room. She went on JuST to tell other family members they could get off with us. Then went back and told Michael she went on and confirmed no room. all info said we are allowed a carry on and a personal item. We were not allowed a carry on after all!! Checking our bags tho would have been fine but we werent taking the 2nd connecting flight to Switzerland and already reserved Air BnBs in Paris. They wanted to send our bags to Basil Anyway. I asked if they could ask other passengers who were actually taking connections flight to maybe check their bags and make room or if I could put on my lap. I also asked if we could just have them sent to first destination. Nope! We are talking about 2 large back packs!!! They kept telling me absolutely not! Miss your flight or send your bags to basil and then file a claim. Needless to say we missed our flight! Demeanor of Michael was that he didnt give a damn AT ALL! He even told gate agent in front of us its okay u did all u could do. Craziest thing is we would have been super early and fit bags on flight if Delta wouldnt have changed a flight and held us up at check in an hour because they could not produce us a boarding pass!!! All of this fault of Delta. Guess what same boarding pass issue with next flight!!! And new flight was literally one mile to next gate and much of it up hill with our bags!!! At next gate they are asking for volunteers for a later flight! Crazy since they were unwilling to ask passengers if they were willing to check a bag to make room for ours since we weren’t going to final destination! New gate, new jerk gate agent. Refused to let us do family boarding since our 9 year old doesn’t require a car seat, even knowing what we just went thru. Next flight they literally just told last passengers there was no room. I immediately took pics as all passengers were seated. See photos. Will NEVER again fly Delta. Probably also has something to do with why this airport rated worst in America.
Airport is super hot. All Flights delayed due to drizzle, all the food court restaurants are closed so the only places to get cold water charge you over $9. Cant get food cant get drinks getting overheated. phone calls to Delta customer service are on hold for over 2 hours. A lot of planes on hold very crowded during covid times so putting your passengers at risk and not providing adequate hydration shame.flight canceled stuck in the airport for the next 9 hours with nowhere to go, no hotels in area they dont answer phone calls. delta wont help me. Have medical condition and staff cant help me. Staff memeber said she can help me get a rental car for $300... I guess she wanted me to sleep in the car?
Worst airline service in the world ! Boarded flight to Buffalo from New York today. Worst airline so far. They broke our luggage and there was no one at Buffalo to address the problem. Check out the photos below. Flight delayed without any sms or notification. No seat numbers were alloted till the last minute, and they gave the last non reclining seat inspite of us waiting 1st in the queue ! Non courteous staff. Very clumsy seating. Ruined the last minute happy memories of New york trip !
Yes I was there the plane got me to Florida and back. But the thing was at LaGuardia everybody was smoking on the sidewalk at arrivals. People who worked at the airport was smoking right in front of no smoking signs. There were even ask praise in front of the no smoking signs
Flew in the Embraer E175 aircraft, a bit crowded but thankfully arrived and departed safely. Was delayed going back home due to weather. Flight on the way back was relaxed (or at least tried to be) and first experienced a night time flight. It’s an awesome view until clouds started to cover everything. Would fly again with Delta! On 7/11 I had a flight from Laguardia airport to Miami to get on a 3 day cruise in Miami (on 7/12) On Thursday night NYC was getting some thunder storms and the plane was delayed for approx 1 and 1/2 hours. Once it stopped raining in NYC - I expected the plane to go out since other planes were leaving the terminal. Well, the Delta representatives lied to me saying that the plane was not going out due to weather, and the real truth (as told by other Delta Representatives) was there was no pilot to fly this plane. The delays kept coming - 1st 9:30 PM, then 10:00 PM, then 12:00 AM, then 1:43 AM... then 9:00 AM then 10:00 AM, then 12:30 PM and finally at 1:00 PM. In the meantime (at the 12:00 AM delay) I had to call the hotel I had booked in Miami and guarantee the reservation because I was eventually going to get to Miami (so I thought). The representatives kept telling us that it was weather, however other planes were taking off (which were overbooked - we tried to go standby on every flight to Miami/and or Ft Lauderdale). We were lied to by the representatives of Delta. I asked them why this plane was delayed because of weather and the other planes are leaving the terminal for MIAMI - and you can tell they were using a CANNED STATEMENT - DUE TO WEATHER. THE REAL REASON WAS THERE WAS NO PILOT BECAUSE THE AIRLINE IS INCOMPETENT AND CANNOT SCHEDULE STAFF. If I knew it was due to staffing issues and that the Pilot needed to rest for 16 hours before taking another flight - I would have Ubered/taken a taxi, or train or bus to another airport such as JFK or Newark. We had to basically sleep on the floor at the Delta terminal. Someone from the airlines walked around the airport and told everyone that the airport was closed and that everyone needed to go to terminal C26-28 so everyone will be in one location. It was also said that the restrooms were closed due to cleaning. So all of the people, families with children, elderly, etc had to sleep on the floor. Since the airport was closed, there was no available food or water. We finally got on the plane at 1:00 PM on Friday... and would have probably made the boat - however we sat at the gate for 1 1/2 hours because they were waiting for catering to bring food to the airplane, Again because of INCOMPETENT STAFFING ISSUES. Well needless to say, I missed the boat. Once the plan landed I then went to the ticket counter and had to speak to a manager to see how I can get to Nassau. Well basically said this is going to be expensive and did nothing for me, so as I was waiting for him to sit on hold to whoever he was talking to - I booked a flight to Nassau for Saturday Morning through American Airlines. Delta said that I would have to fly to Atlanta and then to Nassau. They said they could not book me on another airline or really help me at all. I did make it to Nassau, however I missed a day and 1/2 of the 3 day bachlorette cruise that was booked more than a year in advance. I was meeting a group of 21 ladies for the weekend. I will NEVER book another flight with DELTA airlines. They are liars - as long as they blamed weather - they have no liability. They blamed the hurricane in Louisiana - which was not close to Miami at all. On the way back - My daughters luggage got on an earlier flight, which is really not an issue, until she was told at baggage that it is at a whole other terminal. She could not walk back through the airport since she did not have a flight - she could not get back in through security. She had to walk on the outside of the airport to the other terminal to get her luggage which created an issue being picked up at the baggage area. Laguardia airport is under construction at the delta terminal. I had to incur costs of - Hotel for Thursday night (confirmed - never got there because of Delta), Flight to Nassau for two people, and a hotel room for Friday night at the Miami airport.
It’s the the 21st century and you don’t offer free WiFi. A NYC bus offers free WiFi when I spend under $3 to ride. Coffee shops offer free WiFi and I spend $5 for a drink. NYC streets have free WiFi with LinkNYC and I pay $0 to walk them. But a major airline will not provide free WiFi when we pay hundreds of dollars to fly? What a joke.
TERRIBLE I CALLED 6 TIMES BECAUSE EVERYTIME I ASKED FOR A MANHER THEY HUNG UP ON ME. NOW IM GOING TO SUE THEM FOR STEAL BRAND NEW CLOTHING OUT OF MY BAG. ALL VERRRYYY DISRESPECTFUL AND NOT HELPFUL DO NOT BUY ANY TICKET OR PURCHASE WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT
Don’t fly out of la guardia if you have to fly anywhere. Worst worst lines for general security entrance. They say on the screen 10-15 min wait time but it’s more like 35-50mins. You can pay $109 for the clear service but if you don’t fly enough it’s not worth it. (Flying Delta)
The worst experience going to la Guardia airport. I would not advise anyone to use delta going to la Guardia airport. They cancel my flight and would not refund me the money they had me wait all day at the airport and promise me another flight. I called delta to complain and they fmgave me the runaround. Do not take delta they do not care about there customers
Solid experience, but it was during covid so experiences may differ. There was one or two hick-ups.First, LGA renovated the ramps so there was no struggle getting to the terminals although theres no signage to show that Delta is Terminal D. I used Google maps and thankfully it knew Delta was at Terminal D.Second, check-in was glitchy and my delta mobile app didnt end up having a barcode on my boarding pass and I had to go back to a kiosk to print it manually. But I think it was due to the flight being delayed from 9 am to 10:50 am. The check-in attendant who checked me in the first time, asked what flight I was going on and insisted on telling her the arrival and departure times. Then she asked the 9 am one? in a tone that implied you mean the 9 am one that left and couldnt possibly be that one? I think the system, instead of showing the flight as delayed, actually rebooked all the passengers on a flight saying 10:50Other than that, the security terminals have an expedited process for putting your belongings on the belt with automatic bin service for 4 people to move things on the belt at once. The bins are huge btw, at least twice the volume (twice the length) of those I see at JFK. Flight was quick. I think delta did some passenger separation on their own bc no one was in my row and everyone who was not traveling with family was likewise situated or with at least one seat in between. They gave snacks and water in individual baggies so that contamination would be limited to the outside I guess. They gave Purrell wipes to wipe down our seats and free headphones. Flight was short so no real meals.Tl;dr good and cleanly experience, and enjoyable for someone who got to experience quicker security through times and emptier planes due to covid.

I am giving them 5 stars. I used to hate them. It was always a problem with Delta flights (sort of the way United is today). But I have had two RT flights with Delta in the past year (just finished second one) and they were both great. Service was great, attitude and spirit of the staff was sincere and up-beat. No drama with booking or changes or baggage. I am really blown away by how much they turned around the user experience Also, their terminal was a bright spot on the disgusting palate of LaGuardia airport. Delta is the #1 US airline for me now. Kudos for a brilliant turnaround !
If you wasn’t your bag damaged and they do nothing this is the airline to fly I had my suitcase wheel broken and my makeup box toss any kind of way and they do nothing at all they just say oh I’m so sorry even when u pay for insurance that don’t do anything for your damage luggage and they have a attitude when you let them know
You! Because I only had carryon. My flight from NYC to Buffalo was so fast I didnt even get the chance to nod off. So I just enjoyed the scenery n being in and above the clouds. Customer Service was great, nice genuine smiles, very helpful, good food order via bar-like tablet. Made fast to go on flight n enjoy.
Heavy delays on the way home due to mechanical issues with the plane. We sat in the airport all day waiting for the flight and no reimbursement for our time or vouchers for food... I am disappointed with Delta... Looking for a new airline that actually cares about the customer...
I fly about 5 times a month. Ive been on every airline the US has to offer. Delta consistently has been the best. Personally my family has stopped flying anything other than Delta. For the last 5 years, Delta has done nothing but improve. Im not 100% sure everything this airline is doing but I pray they keep it up. I often take less perferenital flights just to fly Delta.
The ride there was really rockie and they only offered water! The polite didnt even announce that he was landing. The ride home was smooth and the polite was wonderful he gave regular updates about everything I was so comfortable and they offered snacks and drinks of soda, water, and beer!
A bad experience in terms of spending 6 hours in the plane waiting for take off. It was not a direct fault of airline.The only thing which I feel they could have done better was to keep us well informed on frequent basis.Plane interior was quite new. I was impressed with plane leaving the tunnel doort right in time but after that the whole episode of 6 hours delay started.And yes, cabin crew was very nice. 5/5 for them .
Delta air lines at La Guadia Airport is very good ,and easy to get to. There is also pay parking close by , getting to the terminal is also a easy transition. The airport is under renovation, so it makes it a little tricky to get around. So go a little early and it will all go well. My you have an enjoyable and safe flight.
It was okay they need to be more clear about instructions no one said anything about the pink tag they gave us is for checking in our luggage. So everyone brought it on & then was hollered at to stop trying to stuff it in the overhead compartment. Which was embarrassing & inconvenient after having almost no sleep.
This place is still under renovations at terminal C located at La Guardia airport in Queens New York. Easy to see right off of the Grand Central Parkway. Many new stores and restaurants. Always traffic and horns honking. Staff inside is mixed, some nice some not. Better get there early. Credit cards accepted. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. We will definitely be going back.
I flew Delta Airlines on Sun. Dec. 23, 2018FL DL1585 from LaGuardia to Orlando at 3:45pm. Over the loud speaker they announced an overbooking of this flight and asked if anyone would like to give up their seat for the next available flight to Orlando for $500. I waited until the announcement came again. And it did for $100. more than before, so I nonchalantly walked over to the gate attendant booth and volunteered my seat, as did a few other people before and after me. We, the volunteers, waited to find out the answer of whose seat theyll be taking. Five minutes later I was told theyll be taking my seat for $700. and the nice gentleman from the ticket booth informed me that I will be receiving a Delta Visa Card for $700. and he also handed me a meal ticket and asked me if I would do a survey and tell them who took care of me. I forgot his name. They sent the info and my card choice by email and it was in the mail to me a few days later. Not bad for a few hours wait. Flight was good and my family understood.
This is an awesome airline at The LGA Terminals where Delta Goes Out Of!!! :) I have been out of LGA Terminals C And D! 😊 The past few times I went out of Terminals C And D On Delta,The Flights Were always on time!! Even I have arrived on time to LGA Terminals C And D On Time!!!! I have even Landed on the awesome runways where you see cool places and more things!! :) I would love to fly Delta out of LGA Terminals C And D Again!!! :)
This was the worst experience Ive had flying to date. The planes are super small and rickety It felt like flying in a tin can.Of course flying economy you can expect to be packed in like sardines but the leg room on these flights was especially tight.Finally the accommodations they give you for a cancelled flight are shotty at best. They gave us terrible options for rescheduling and every option was a downgrade in seating.Dont expect them to cover any expenses incurred during any extra time spent abroad either because they wont.
On July 10th I had a flight originally leaving from Laguardia at 2:08 PM to Jacksonville. I arrived early to the airport, we were at the security check line about 2 and a half hours before flight time. that whole time we were stuck on the security check line. I noticed that all the other airlines were aware of some issue with the security check line process and realizedthat their passengers would not make it through so they started announcing and requesting that the passengers for their flights to skip the line and move to the front and be allowed to go through security check as they noticed there departure times drawing near. At no point did Delta check on the status or seem to be aware or care about the delay or the situation going on at the security check. They never called for passengers from my flight to be moved to the front of the line,causing me to miss my flight by one minute. When we got to the gate and the front desk the staff at the Delta gate were not helpful at all, all they offered was to put us on standby to see if there was room on the next flight for all us. There were 6 of us in total, Myself and my 12 year old daughter and my sister and her three small children. the staff didntbother to check if there were any seats available for all of us on the next flight, and they did not give us any guarantee that we would be seated on the next flight. The staff didnt bother to check to see if maybe their was a flight available on another flight or possibly at JFK airport or give us any other options other than wait on standby with 4 children until 6:45 which was when the next flight was going to depart. I and my daughter along with one of my sisters kids were able to take a later flight that left 4 hours later because we agreed Ill go ahead on that flight and take one of her kids, otherwise none of us would have gone on that flight either. I would like to point out again, that the Deltas staff at the desk were not very helpful at all or try to provide any other options. My sister had to wait for a flight that left the next day.I feel that Delta Airlines and their staff at Laguardia were negligent and provided bad customer service, I should have been able to make my flight. the Airline suggests that to arrive two hours prior to departure time and in fact we arrived two and a half hours before and that whole time we were waiting on the security check line and took us even longerbecause the other airlines had started asking for their passengers to be moved to the front of the line so they could get through check out and make their flights. Delta made no such announcement or effort to try to get their passengers to their flight on time. this will most likely be the last time I fly with delta because of their poor customer service andlast time I fly out of Laguardia.
The explanation for our flights delay was not clear. Gate agents were not at the counter for most of the time we were waiting, but one did show up briefly to announce something about a ground stop at Tampa with no other details. Then the pilot gave another explanation before take off (which I couldnt fully hear due to rude passengers that wouldnt stop talking). I caught the words FAA & wouldnt extend our exemption so it sounded like a problem that shouldve been resolved on someone elses time & not caused a flight delay.After landing in Tampa, by the time we used the restrooms near our gate & made it to baggage claim, the belt was stopped & we didnt realize our luggage was sitting next to the baggage office until the belt started up for the next arriving flight.Leg space on this flight in regular seats was very constricted. Ive flown two other airlines in the last 2 weeks and this flight was the most cramped, by far. Drinks were the most expensive as well. I chose this flight because it was the cheapest return flight from LGA, but now that I know what to expect, I may choose another more expensive flight with more room, better service & amenities. I cant recommend Delta after this experience.
Literally the worst airline. Fly anyone else. JetBlue, Spirit, Frontier. If you want to have the worst travel experience from service, to delays, to horrid terminals and aircrafts then fly Delta. If you dont have anywhere to be and can spend the entire day for a 3 hour flight they are the airline for you. Ill donate my sky miles, but I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy. Will NEVER step foot in a Delta plane again. Rather walk, probably be faster and less stressful.
In the delta airlines terminal at LaGuardia airport flying home we ran into Full Force. These guys are real life brothers, singers, actors, etc... They all are really great and genuinely nice people.Thank you Lucien, Paul Anthony and Brian for taking the time to talk & take pictures with us.Sincerely,Donny and Marie
Terminal D has some updated amenities with an upscale cafe from which you order meals on tablets and a server brings the food. Unfortunately its not easy to ask questions about the items, and its hard to get a sense of how long the food will take, so make sure you have enough time to catch your flight. There is an option to receive flight updates, but our flight wasnt listed, making the system useless.

2022-03-28Delta is one of the best airlines to fly. I always fly with delta, from the pilot to the staff it’s always an amazing flight to my destination and back home, I never felt so relaxed and comfortable I was always scared to fly but I have been flying since last year non stop and I am so glad I found an airline that has put that fear to rest. Delta goes above and beyond to make sure you are safe and comfortable best experience every time.

2022-03-295 am. The airport. I woke up at 3 am and slept only 3 hours. I need to fly and due to the fault of the agent who sold me the plane ticket, I have problems, the risk of not getting on the plane or buying a new ticket and forgetting about the money spent on the old ticket? I have stress, a spoiled mood, anger at the company that sold the ticket. And a complete lack of understanding of what to do next ...But I was lucky to meet Janelle L Fabbricante and Rafael Pena from Delta.They helped me tremendously! These are real professionals who were able to come to the aid of a client who is in a difficult situation. They helped to figure out what was done wrong by the agent who sold me the ticket and were able to find a solution!I really appreciate their approach as people and as experts in their field!Thanks a lot!I also want to add that I appreciated Deltas approach in preparing employees and thanks to guys like Rafael and Janelle next time I will not buy tickets from an incomprehensible cheap agent, but rather buy directly on the Delta website!

2022-04-04I havent flown delta in years and it was a great experience. As well as the airports. Very swift boarding, take off and landing. Very fast travel. Only about 2 hrs from NY to Chicago! Zero issues. Good prices too.

2022-07-03Poor, Poor customer service today. Our flight from Orlando to Laguardia was delayed. This delay landed us too late for our layover in LaGuardia to Syracuse. When we arrived we patiently waited in line to be told the next flight out was 16 hours from now, and we would not be allowed to stay in the airport over night. No food vouchers, no hotel assistance or compensation. Just- see ya tomorrow. We have flown Delta for years and this was the worst experience we have ever had in our travels. With hotels over $400 for the night, no assistance from the airline is disgusting. Beware- the airline that used to go above and beyond will screw you over now.

2022-06-10Total nightmare at LaGuardia airport, sat on the runway for 3hrs waiting to fly to MCO, run out of fuel, no pilots to fly plane, get your bags and get off our plane no passenger information on what were our options. Delta staff were totally useless, they basically dumped us in the airport, we were on our own. We found out from another passenger that all flights were cancelled and that we had to book an alternative flight from the nearest airport, JFK the following day, book an overnight stay in a hotel and pay all taxi fares from the airport to the hotel then from the hotel the next day to JFK. Costing us over $500. The worst we have ever been treated by an airline. The one star above was for the guy who checked in our luggage upon arriving at the airport, he was a gentleman, kerbside check in is a good idea. No stars for the appalling way we were treated by the Delta staff at La Guardia. They should get training from the Delta staff at JFK who were more professional, polite and courteous.

2022-06-14‘No frill’ is the only good thing. But the attendants will make sure you realize that even with the essential services. Attendants were pretty busy selling the foods as if that’s their prime responsibility. Asking for another glass of water was answered with bulging angry eyes as ‘Is there anything else I can offer you for free??’ Pathetic! Complaining to supervisor was answered as ‘I know her for 21 years. She can’t do it’. Of course!Attendant arrogantly gave me a note asking me to file a complaint (screenshot) - appeared like she did not care! Employee first, customers may go to hell! My flight was from Cancun to NY on 8June, 2022 (DL620).

2022-05-23They added a stop over to my direct flight. I paid for direct. The my keep toying with my itinerary. You feel like a pawn a nobody to delta. WORSE AIRLINE EXPERIENCE. Never happened with American.

2022-05-24Hope I can rate Delta Airlines 0, dealyed 2 hours in Richmond and 2 hours in NY. unbelievable and the reason is two of the crew stuck somewhere. If I drove from Richmnd to Pittsburgh I arrive in 6 hours, I wasted 8 hours and lots of pressure
