Clean safe place to stop. Limited due to COVID-19
Its a rest stop. They are all pretty much the same. As for this one its was clean the day we stopped to use the facilities and more important they were doing a decent job of setting it up to be safe during the covid19 pandemic. It felt as safe as could be for using the restroom in a rest stop. Thankful for the stop to get out and stretch before continuing on with our trip home.

Great rest stop, plenty of free parking for travelers. Prices @ McDonalds were kinda high, but what do you expect from areast stop. But they were very nice to deal w/ (NOT sarcastic).
Stopped for a quick empty of the bladder, and fill of the belly and gas tank. Was an acceptable stop. Glad to have places like this to quickly stop at.
Would of loved some ice cream. 3:25pm Tues Oct 27th. Im posting time so whoever manages this place can get rid of the B* (at the McDonalds counter) who refused to assist us. Way to many people out there that would love a job and be willing to assist customers in spending money in this establishment.
Only 3 stars as McDonalds seems to be taking advantage of the current situation. We have stopped here several times in our 10yrs of traveling I90, NEVER have I paid so much for a burger, not even at an airport. $14+tax for a quarter pounder deluxe (which means they put a tomato slice and some lettuce on it) meal with large coffee. And I had to go back in because they gave me the wrong burger. Next time well pack a lunch. Restrooms were clean.
The restrooms at the travel plazas on the New York thruway are in bad shape! The whole building needs renovation! One restroom smelled of urine so bad it made my eyes water! Come on! For what it costs to use the thruway!!
I love the system in the U.S. these are great stops regardless if you need to stop to use the restroom it grab something to eat or drink. Never a problem always clean and well maintained. I also appreciate the WiFi!!!

Ill be upfront that I was only stopping for a quick washroom break and wasnt buying/eating anything. So I cant review or comment on the food, eating areas, etc.Although I hope its not the norm, on my visit the womens bathroom was messy and had issues. The first stall I tried didnt have a working door latch. The next 2 stalls were yucky toilets and toilet paper all over (I realize its not their fault when people act like pigs, in ways they sure wouldnt at home).As well, the toilets were really quite low down. I dont have problems myself but I know someone with very bad knees who would have had a whole lot of trouble using such a low toilet.Maybe Im being a little too picky....
Another clean, well lit and always well maintained travel plaza. There are only two travel plaza stops on NY that havent met my standards and Ive left reviews for them. The restrooms here are always well maintained.
A bit over priced but thats to be expected at a rest stop. Lots to choose from. Very clean.
Of the dozen or more times Ive been in Atlanta and rented from Hertz, theyve had cars available for me to get in and drive off... maybe twice. My average wait is at least 30 mins, sometime s as much as an hour. Their employees here dont seem to have much of a sense of urgency when there are 40-50 standing in line waiting for their car.Dont get me wrong, I love Hertz as a company. This location, not so much.
The McDonalds is outstanding, mens bathroom not so much, but they do clean it, the motoring public are just, in general, slobs
Pretty standard fare but certainly not a bad place to atop. Just seems to have a lpt less perks and uniqueness as compared to some other travel plazas. I definitely like the dining area though... comfortable seating and even large couches!
The bathrooms were so gross and only one toilet worked in the ladies room, all the rest were over stuffed with bodily waste and fluids.
I’m not kidding I just waited 40 minutes for a McDonald’s Fry. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before this. Also the bathrooms weren’t very clean.
I was very disappointed when we stopped today on our way to camp. Bathrooms were a mess. Dirty walls inside stalls, tp all over, toilets plugged, windows/doors in main entrance were filthy. Construction prohibited large vehicles to navigate. One camper had to exit using McDonalds drive through. McDonalds was very slow, not sure why as I saw at least 9 people but only one person training on register. missing items in orders, expired apples in kids meal, waited at least 20 minutes for order. I generally associate the rest areas as a quick clean stop. Not the case today.

Decent place, but there doesnt seem to be a single parking spot for cars at all. Had to park in the road walk through traffic to get inside.

Typical rest area. Okay on the cleanliness side. Food is a little overpriced but typical for the Turnpike.Just dont expect anything extra special and you will not be disappointed.

McDonalds is really the only option, unless you want ice cream for lunch. Has a small store, plus gas. Large seating area, and outdoor seating too.
Hopefully, this morning is an exception, because the restrooms were trashed. (My husband told me the mens was, before I told him about the womens.) Toilet paper was everywhere, toilets were not flushed (I did not post those pictures), stalls didnt have a toilet paper holder, let alone any toilet paper! Disgusting!!!
This is another plaza being closed in NY. Keep parking open for truckers. Hurry and rebuild for food options.

Stopped at the Dewitt service area on Wed. May20th about 10am and employee of McDonalds was standing at front counter with no mask while other employees had them on.
Not the biggest rest stop on the NY Thruway but its usually pretty clean and the McDonalds is always open. Plenty of pumps at the gas station too so there is no waiting for that.
One of my favorites on the toll way . Fast internet lots of space. Stop here every chance I can
Food prices here are rather high but what do you expect if you eat on the turnpike. Adequate trucks parking if you get there early

The food is kind of on the expensive side but that like any other Travel Plaza in the Northeast but it beats staying at the Pilot truck stop
Wonderful place to stop and use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat. Prices are a bit high, but a clean, sage place to take a break.
Has a McDonalds drive thru, Edys Ice Cream and a gift shop. Free wifi but no easily accessible power plugs. The gift shop sells sugar maple candies.
It is a well placed stop when traveling. The MacDonalds drive through service is typically slow, no matter what is ordered.

2021-09-07Very empty considering so many Rest Stops are closed.Fairy clean, could do better.Would be ok for a quick bit at McDonalds or Eddys (except for the prices).Liked the Taste of New York store inside. Purchased a charm, fair prices. This store was set up very nicely and I enjoyed looking around. Pleasant woman working the register (thats always nice).All in all, I would suggest using this facility as they are few and far between.

2022-06-29As a truck driver who regularly travels the United States this travel plaza is disgusting and not well cared for. At already 630am on a Wednesday the mens room floor was sticky, covered with debris the toilets where covered with unknown substances and had trash thrown around the floor in the stalls. Some of the stalls had broken hardware and stains in them you can tell they have not been wiped down at all recently. Come on NY you can do better

2022-04-16The person taking my order was very kind and solicitous letting me know I had dropped something. She offered to help me to my table, since I was using a cane, but I declined the offer. The bathroom was very clean.

2022-02-17Disgusting bathrooms. Don’t understand why we have to pay extra money to drive on a turnpike with bathrooms that are repulsive. We have driven across the whole country and these were by far the least enjoyable bathrooms.

2020-12-15I bought a soda at this Rest Stop in a vending machine and had to spend over five minutes trying to get it unstuck from the flap at the bottom. I tried calling the number on the front of the machine that proclaimed prompt service and refunds but couldnt find what option to select when I called the number. Do NOT use that vending machine!
