We had such a pleasant time working with Kamrul. He really listened to what we wanted and worked with it. It was freezing the night of my wedding and because I really wanted outdoor shots, he happily obliged. He showed up on time and did not waste a minute on getting started. His packages/prices are very reasonable and his work is amazing. I received my final photos extremely quickly and honestly couldn’t be happier with them. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day.
SCAM ALERT!!!My fiance and I booked Dhoom Studio for our engagement event. We were referred to him (Kam/ Kamrul) by Royal Palm Event Center. After making the deposit, we tried contacting him to rearrange the date due to COVID, this guy literally disappeared, stopped replying to texts and calls and never showed up for the event. Luckily, we found another photographer to replace this crook. DO NOT HIRE UNRELIABLE VENDOR LIKE HIM.Update: this guy copied and pasted the same reply to everyone who recently left a negative review. He claims there was a miscommunication and was unaware of the event date. There was NO communication from Dhoom Studio, I wouldve let it go if it was miscommunication. As for the event date, offcourse Dhoom Studio didnt have any engagement event scheduled in recent weeks, because they were replaced by another photographer for our event; thats how clueless they are about their clients.
Kamrul is immensley talented and on the job quick to respond to clients needs. We love our wedding photos . The work they put out is pure artistry. Great people skills , definitely recommending - simply the best !
Kam and his team was great! He worked with out budget and gave us EXACTLY what we wanted. On our big day Kam gave us wonderful direction, paid close attention to detail and was never intrusive! The turnaround time was fast too! We got our edited photos in less than 4 weeks!! Thank you Kam for capturing our amazing day so beautifully! Its been almost two years and i have finally had the courage to write this review, courage to write the agony that dhoom stuidos has done to my husband and i. Dhoom studio is the WORST in the business. They were booked with the upmost trust that they will deliver the services we paid them for. Kamrul (the owner) is a neighbor whos family is friends with mine, with that trust, i decided to go with his work. Kamrul approached my husband and i on our first meeting with him so professionally but as soon as full payment was made, his services did not deliver. We booked a artistic package with him which included our stages. Please note I have ALL communications with Kamrul on file and can show anyone who needs to see it. His work was done with poor attention, he did not capture photos of very important moments, he was horrible at telling people to look at the camera. He had some BS assistant with him who did nothing but just look around and stand there. His work was done so poor, that anyone with a DSLR could’ve easily done. All i received from the package were two wedding albums and a sloppy footage of the gaye holud which took Kamrul a very LONG time to deliver. He surpassed the date he stated in the contract, when he was contacted, he would not respond back. And the worst of it all, was after a year of trying to communicate with kamrul he states my wedding footage is destroyed and i will need to pay extra money to retrieve it. During my wedding, his videographer (according to kamrul, no one else bought this to my attention) left his video equipment on the dance floor and stepped away (i am not sure why he did this, as all professionals i would think that in a room of 500 guests, you wouldnt dare leave equipment and step away from it) and somehow someone dropped a beverage on it, and it got all over the video equipment. My husband and I immediately asked kamrul if that meant our footage from the wedding was damaged, he quickly assured us that it is NOT damaged. Now holding that, my husband and I presumed everything was fine. Now as our delivery dates surpassed we reached out to kamrul checking up on everything, we asked him through text & email if our wedding footage was fine, he again reassured that everything is fine and he will be delivering our photos & video soon. We then run into him in jackson heights, in which we checked in again and were once again reassured. Long story short, Kamrul constantly kept reassuring us that everything is fine, he will deliver everything to us. An entire YEAR goes by, and Kamrul then delivers the message that our wedding footage is damaged by what happened during the wedding time, we are now responsible for paying extra to retrieve the footage. Now my husband and i were furious, filled with emotion. We found this unacceptable and demanded him to make this right. After MANY tries, he offered a petty $400 refund and a contract to sign in which we would never bring this topic up. We did not accept the offer because a petty $400 refund was not what we were looking for, he ruined a lifetime worth of memories. I highly do not recommend working with this fraud, he will make your life hell. Please take your money elsewhere and don’t let this scum ruin your day.
My wife and I have never worked with anyone more professional than Dhoom Studio. We worked with Kam-who is the owner of Dhoom Studio last summer. We just received all of our product and we couldn’t be any more happier. Kam helped us throughout the whole process of photo shoot and our wedding. We were very pleased with our pictures and video. Kam the owner and main photographer literally refuses to answer my calls / texts / emails. He has no regard in responding to his customers. He has lied to me about receiving calls and text I have sent him for well over a month, and when he finally did respond he says via email only and in 24-48 hours. Still no response even when I sent him an email. Stay away from him and his business. He’s not honest or trustworthy. Literally doesn’t care about his customers who pay him thousands of dollars for his services. Absolutely the most unprofessional person I have ever met.
I had the pleasure of working for Dhoom Studio’s team for my sister’s wedding. The quality of photographs is simply amazing. They did a such an incredible job. I highly recommend them to my family and friends.
Kamrul was extremely helpful and professional. We lost our wedding videos after 3 years and yet he was able to recover and deliver a backup copy to us.
Hello,For everyone who is looking for a videographer/photographer and is considering this studio due to the price, RUN AWAY. The quality is so underwhelming that it is not even worth it. And as you can see from other reviews, the service is horrifying and most people have the shared experience of Kamrul, the person in charge, not delivering their videos for years and do not assume that you will be any different. For my sister’s wedding, members of his “crew” argued with other professionals and each other at the ceremony disturbing the wedding itself with their unprofessional attitude. Kamrul did not provide the wedding video for almost a year AFTER the wedding. The quality of the video itself was also so bad that my sister had to do most of the editing HERSELF! He also does not respond to clients after awhile and did not respond to my sister or her husband either. Do not be fooled by the “good” reviews. This studio and Kamrul are inept, unprofessional, and do not deserve a penny of your money or a second of your time.
I’m just so frustrated that I don’t want to even give ONE star. These people just have no experience working on wedding videos. Firstly, the actual video itself looks like a vlog and its so unprofessionally shot. Secondly, they themselves are unprofessional. You are supposed to help your clients to the best of your ability but they never reply back to texts and they never improve the video like what is asked of them. My cousin is so disappointed because her video did not capture any moments that she dreamed of. The video as a whole was a mess. They also rarely took photos of the family and instead took photos of other unnecessary things. I just can’t fathom how incredibly disappointing this studio is. Never ever booking this place and making sure to warn others from doing so as well.
We hired Kamrul & his team for my brothers wedding, they were truly professional. The pictures were great & received on time. We have had a great experience working with Dhoom Studio, I would highly recommend them.
Let me start off by saying if i can give 0 stars i would. I wouldn’t recommend these guys to my enemy! Very unprofessional work. There was literally footage of my wedding of the ceiling being recorded for a minute straight, which just shows you how much they do not care for, or review the video of somebody’s wedding day. Pathetic! The entrance of the bride was filmed from far away, capturing no detail which my 8 year old niece could’ve done better. Not joking. We had to be on top of them for our videos and album to be sent to us (which took over a year). STAY FAR AWAY. Their prices are cheap for a reason. HORRIBLE!
Kam was great to work with and we loved our wedding photos. We had an engagement shoot that included both western and south asian attire which Kam was able to capture really well.
We hired Kamrul & his brother for the E-shoot, they are amazing!!!They were very patient with us. They know what they were doing, cant wait to hire them again for our big day. Once again thank u so much for making our special day even more special!!!!!
Stay away! It took me while to write this review and I always hesitate writing a bad review unless its important to save people from horror story. Unproressional, treats his clients with lack of importance and will never aknowledge his mistakes even when he gets caught up in his own lies. My wife booked and paid thousands and thousands of dollars for something that did not result in good quality photos or movie. And even with their replies to the comments/reviews, you guys cant even take the truth and have to make it seem like these clients never existed, reality check get better and do better and be honest.Thank you for your feedback. However, we are unable to verify any of the information you have describe nor we can locate your name in our client database. Dont write this BS to peoples comments Instead apologize and find better ways to actually give 2 cents about your clients.Again, dont be dismissive and take ownership to problems that still exist in your company, regardless how many years and how many clients those numbers mean nothing unless you take ownership to problems. Let me tell you what you should do is focus on each client and keep all promises and be truthful no matter how bad it might be. When you ask for crazy amounts of money for your services then services should be delivered accordingly, anything less than that will get my types of reviews. I highly recommend this place. The amount of time and effort they take to make the customer satisfied is unmatched. The photographs are amazing and well priced and even the service is tremendous. If anybody needs photographers for a special occasion, this is the right choice. You won’t regret it. Keep up the good work.

2022-08-01Perfection. Working with Kam and his team was the best decision I made for my wedding. The pictures came out flawless. Kams experience was shown with his direction and his pictures. He is a professional at this and will go above and beyond for his clients.He is extremely busy so it was tough to communicate with him leading up to my event but rest assured he will not let you down.

They helped my family capture the most beautiful moments of my sisters sweet sixteen and my family and I couldnt be any more grateful. Beautiful pictures to last a lifetime. From our e-shoot to our engagement, sangeet, wedding, and reception, Kamrul did a fabulous and amazing job in capturing all our precious moments. He took both my husband’s and my input in how we had envisioned our shoots, photography, and videography and used his creativity to make it make it even better. His photography literally lives up to “a photograph is worth a thousand words”. I received my final photographs in a timely manner as well as the videography of all the events. Lastly, our albums are absolutely gorgeous!!! ❤️ Thank you so much, Kam for helping us ease through the whole process of the photoshoot and wedding and thoroughly capturing all our precious moments. 2021-11-02Every year for my birthday I get a photo shoot but this year I was turning 40 and that photo shoot had to be special, and it sure was. Dhoom Studio coordinated location, time and ideas with me and I can’t be more satisfied, it was simply perfect!!! I am a perfectionist and they exceeded all my expectations. Forever grateful!

2020-05-17As clients we don’t see how much work truly goes into making a fabulous wedding video, album and portraits. We were impatient ourselves, but the final copies we received from Dhoom Studios of our wedding video and album is far better than we expected! Amazing quality and work! Thank you to Kam and his team for their great work ethics and being so easy to work with. His team was great and very professional. We were very comfortable to shoot with him and built a good relationship with him during our events. My advice to anyone looking for any photographer is to let them know exactly what you want so you won’t be disappointed later. As long as you tell Kam exactly what you’re looking for, he’ll make it happen! He did not hesitate to re-edit photos and videos when we asked. The quality of work you’ll receive from Kam, I guarantee you won’t receive elsewhere!

2021-10-21Please take your money/ business else where. I booked Kamrul/ Dhoom studios in 2018 October for an Engagement party in Arkansas. Full Video was not delivered till 2021 January to my in laws and I received my copy in 2020 November. Pictures were good and delivered in 2018. I don’t even know where to start. It all started after we booked him and sent deposit. The ignoring game started. Two weeks before the engagement, I started contacting him asking him details, since he was gonna buy his own tickets and get his own hotel. No reply.. we were panicking like is he even gonna come. I started to call/ text everyday 2-3 times.. no reply, I had my cousin with a NYC number call him 30 Seconds after he had ignored my call. Only to have my cousins call answered, so my cousin asked him all the details. Red flags started early on.. but he still went with him. Once he got here, we were a bit off schedule getting ready shoot went fine, pre shopt went fine.. at the engagement, it looked everything was also fine only to have barely any footage delivered. ,Man took too many smoke breaks. They took a break during a dance performance so there was no footage of that. Our first version of the video was only 32 minutes..NOT TO MENTION MY PARENTS DOING SAGAN ON MY HUSBAND WASN’T EVEN ADDED. OUR PUNJABI ENGAGEMENT WAS 6 HOURS LONG. OUR CONTRACT WAS FOR A 90 minute video. I mentioned so he collected more bits a pieces… added my cousins performance twice, added what he had recored of my parents doing the sagan. in the video to make it longer. MIND YOU THE 8th version was finally 89 minutes with so many repeating segments. ..MY FIRST DANCE HAS MY HEAD CUT OFFF IN SO MANY PARTS WITH PNLY MY NECK/waist RECORDED.Thecontract mentioned a 3-5 minute highlight video which was 3.5 minutes with 2 minutes of me getting ready.Phone video would have been better since the video quality was awful. Transitioning was so bad. The camera/video set ups were so badHe could not clear up the original audio so used the original audio in the video so it sounded like the DJ was ragidy. He made every excuse to take time. Excuses were like “the editor dropped the hard drive” “the editor was out of country” “I was out of country” “new editor”I asked for several edits after every version.. but only few would be editted.He wanted all the money before the event- we delivered. But service was not..my event was October 2018I flew to NYC to meet him in end of April 2019, made an appt to see him, he was late to the appointment (understandable).. I went and met him on a Saturday, he promied to deliever final version on the Tuesday (the day was also givem by him)… it was not delievered.You have to constantly message him, he won’t reply for days… when he does there is always an excuse. My brother has asked him cinematography.. the video was like it was recorded on nokia 3310.. soo shaky and blurry.Oh!! he also mentioned he had covered severalPhnjabi engagements before So he was familiar with everything.. but he was very clueless.Contract mentioned 2 videographer and 2 photographers.. Which was delievered….but with a twist.. man brought another of his team memebers from New York… and found two “photo and videographers” FROM THE STATE OF ARKANSAS ON A DATABASE…. THEY WERE EQUALLY CLUELESS..I was waiting for my stuff to be delivered to me before I wrote the review. Because I had paid soo I didn’t want him to keep it. I would post it on facebook but ya’ll would just laugh…Future clients: If you would like to save your day by looking at my videos’s please emailMe or reply to this review.. I willHappily send you a copy so u don’t make the same mistake as I did..So if I were you… I’d book someone else.
