I went to their location in Brooklyn to set up my appointment and to meet the people I was considering to come to my home for the two repairs. When I entered I could tell it was just the office personnel not the technician side.Nevertheless they invited me in to listen to my concerns. That is where I met Margaret , the person who totally helped me navigate my issues. She was extremely helpful in every single way helping me and advising me along the way to accomplish what needed to be done with dealing with GENERAL Electric. Even helping me with how to use my iPhone ( which I’m not that good at) she always took the time to answer my calls or emails. Everything thing she said would get fixed or replaced happened on time as she said it would. I could not have settled my issues with GE ( that was going on for months) had it not been for Margaret.As for the technician side I again could not be happierBoth times the tech came to my home he was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable as to what needed to be done. His name is Ishmael, he worked very efficiently explaining along the way what he was doing and what needed to be done. He was patient with my questions and concerns and made me feel very at ease with the process. When he was finished everything was cleaned up and both appliances were as good as new. So to sum up. I am very satisfied with Dial Appliance, their staff are top shelf. Good job Dial keep up the good work. It’s nice to know that there are still people out there that care about what they do and treat the public with respect. Thanks
The Dial Appliance professional did a terrific job of repairing my 15 year old dryer! Given that it bellowed smoke I was sure it could not have been repaired. Dial Appliance repaired the same dryer 14 years ago and I was still in the database-thanks to Margaret. The dryer had burned the temperature sensor. The Dial Appliance associate not only had the part but removed excessive link captured in the machine because the outdoor duct was dislodged. He fixed and cleaned everything! He was timely, professional, cleaned up everything and we were both pleased with the outcome. I would happily recommend their service. Also given a 90 day warranty! Had ordered an $1800 dryer from PC Richards which I happily cancelled for $300 work.
I have used their service for my Viking fridge repair on two different occasions. The tech is knowledgeable, and was able to make quick diagnoses both times. Dials technician was efficient and no bs-ing like another tech that came to look at the same issue. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff that they have.
Over the last couple of years I had to use services of two other appliance repair companies (Dependable Appliance Service and A&E Factory Service) and my experience with them was terrible. Both have low customer ratings (they were dispatched by LG for repairs while under warranty, not chosen by me). At first glance, Dial Appliance Service didnt do anything particularly spectacular for me. My phone call was answered quickly (and not by a robot); they were able to schedule an appointment soon; the mechanic showed up when he was supposed to. Turned out he would have to order a part and come back. Again, the second appointment was scheduled pretty soon; the mechanic showed up on time and replaced the broken part. The washing machine was fixed. End of story. This is how it should be happening; nothing to write home about. However, given my bad experience with the two other companies under similar circumstances, I felt compelled to give these guys a good review.
Tech came in the morning and successfully repaired the clothes washer which then worked. He answered questions that I had re maintenance of the machine and gave suggestions.Later in the day, another problem developed with the machine. The Dial Appliance Service manager called me back, spoke to his techs and gave me a practical way to rectify the problem.I am impressed with the professionalism of the tech who repaired the machine and the manager who went the extra mile to solve my second problem. Thank you.
I first called them at 9:30am. My oven was fixed before 12pm haha. And on a Saturday, no less. Eugene the office manager was a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Highly professional, incredibly responsive, very friendly. Did not deal with the tech directly, but my tenant had no complaints. What a breath of fresh air compared to other tradespeople and companies Ive dealt with in Brooklyn. Thanks for taking care of my issue so quickly! Ive bookmarked this company for sure!
I cant ever remember dealing with a company that I was so pleased and overwhelmed with happiness for the Customer Service Reps.. Margaret & Marina , both very Professional & Courteous to the core. Home Depot whom I originally called to honor my extended warranty, contracted out the service/work to be done on my 1& 1/2hear old washer and over-booked me. Thus leaving me in limbo without confirmation. I called Margaret who personally took my case in hand and called me back shortly, confirming my appointment for service/work. The technician was prompt/Courteous/& Professional with a call from Cust.. Svce ..Rep.. Marina who informed me the technician was outside. Work done in record time and satisfactory. For me Job well done all around by Professionals ,I will always recommend this company to my friends. They deserve 5🌟
I had an issue with my dishwasher that was under warranty. Dial Appliances Inc. was responding to my claim to fix it. I spoke to Eugene who is the office manager. he was very efficient, organized, paid attention to detail and extremely helpful. He told me what to do with regard to the dishwasher and how to deal with the warranty company. he provided me with very useful information that helped the process. I actually cannot fix the dishwasher, but am going to get a replacement as the cost to fix would not be appropriate for the age of the dishwasher. At any rate, I had to deal with customer service, claims dept and the claims adjuster as well as the replacement dept. I have not yet gotten a replacement, as I am on the last step of the process. However, Eugene was always readily available, knowledgeable and courteous. I was forever grateful of his help with this experience that could have been much more difficult.
We had issues with our oven. We got originally assigned to another appliance repair company by extended warranty vendor. It took the company 2 days to call us back and we got service appointment 2 weeks away. I called up the warranty provider and made a stink about it. They promptly got Dial involved and it had been a much better experience. They called us right away and scheduled appointment for next day. The technician was here first thing in the morning and quickly figured out what the issue was. He replaced the part and was on his way in 20 minutes. Instead of waiting for 2 weeks, the whole issue was taken care of in less than 12 hours - exactly what I would expect when paying for extend warranty coverage.
These guys came when we called ServicePro for problems with our Summit refrigerator, which we purchased through A.J Madison. So happy we opted for the extended protection plan, because weve had a recurring issue with ice build-up in the freezer. The repairman was courteous and knowledgeable. After two visits, he discovered the underlying cause of the problem and we havent had a problem since. His supervisor, Igor, even called to follow-up. Really good service!
Had a pleasure of dealing with Steve from Dial. Cant say enough good things about him and a lady dispatch I spoke to (forgot her name). I had technicians from 2 different appliance companies looks at my refrigerator before, 1 told me he will be unable to fix it, another gave me an insane price (almost 2k ) to replace a whole bunch of parts. I was already thinking of buying a new fridge when a friend recommended this company. When Steve came he was very professional and to the point, diagnosed the problem quickly and it cost me not even half of what the second rip off company tried to charge me. This was a few months ago, fridge still works perfectly. 2 weeks ago my stove stopped working completely. Its not nearly new, so again i was thinking i would have to buy a new one. Steve came again, found the issue quickly and replaced the broken part. I really cannot say enough good things about this pleasant young man. I wish there were more people so knowledgeable and professional. Very happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone!
I called Dial Appliance Service up in the morning to inform about damaged Maytag Washing Machine and was given an appointment for the same day in the afternoon. The technician called me 30 minutes before he was going to arrive. He arrived promptly and gave the machine a full service. It’s working perfectly now. Ive recommended Dial Appliance Service to another lady today in the area and I have passed their details to my landlord who says his tenants are always looking for reliable appliance repair service in Brooklyn.
When I was cooking I realized that the front burner on my electric range did not work. I had called Dial Appliance Service in Brooklyn before for my washer and they were reasonable, so I called them again. The range repair man came out and checked the stove and said he had to replace the connection for the burner. He had the part right on the truck. In less than an hour he was finished and the charge was again very reasonable. This appliance repair service is very good I would recommend them.
I feel I got a great deal on the dryer repair I had done by Dial Washer and Dryer Repair. The service tech came to my home, and spent a couple for hours changing parts and testing everything. The dryer now spins quietly and dries like it was new. It was like getting anew washer for only the reasonable cost of a service call.
Ive been using Dial Appliance on and off for about 5 years. The service ranged from being OK to mediocre and the price point has been above the industry norm in most cases. The last repair involved diagnosing and repairing a range hood. The technician showed up, took a quick look, and quoted me $800 + labor to swap out a motor which HE found to be defective. I said no thanks was charged $87 for the visit and went off to look for a used model like the one I have. Found one for $400 and decided to swap out the motor myself. to my surprise the motor was FINE, just stuck with a part that came lose. What would have been a 10 minute repair cost me the $400 + $87 for the guru diagnosist I did not need to spend because the technician is a .... d... not qualified or LAZY. I called the owner and showed the video documentation of the whole thing, he offered to refund the $87 and told me tough luck on spending the $400. Gotta love people who take responsibility for their actions.... NOT.
Great Repair Service Company. I had a service call on my Frigidaire Refrigerator, Technician came early in morning, diagnosed it and provided me with an estimate. I was very happy to get my refrigerator back into working order. I also recommended this company to my friend who had a broken dishwasher. A+++
Steve came out to my house to look at my washing machine today! He was very nice, respectful and efficient. Within 10 minutes of checking the machine he was able to diagnose the problem and give me an estimate. The quote was very reasonable. Now my washer is working agein. I would absolutely call them again!
I had a problem with my dishwasher and did not know who to call so I went next door and asked my neighbor if she knew any dishwasher repair service. She suggested I call Dial Appliance Service in Brooklyn. I called and the technician showed up an hour later. It turned out it was just a clogged screen on the inside. He took care of it and showed me what to do if it happens again. That was very honest of him because he could have come back every time and charged me for something I could do myself.
When one of our machines in the laundry room goes down I call my washer repair service, Dial Appliance Service to take care of it. They always arrive quickly and make the necessary repair. They send an invoice which is always reasonable. I would never use another washer repair service for our facility.
When my Maytag washer broke down and left me with a tub full of dirty water and clothes I called Dial Appliance Service. The washer repair technician knew exactly what the problem was the moment he arrived. He immediately drained the tub and started working. In about 30 minutes all was well. He was very courteous and professional. I would call Dial again for any appliance repair.
A few years ago when we were still renting, our fridge started to crap out. Thankfully, we found Dial Appliance Service after a bad experience with someone the landlord recommended (the service told us we needed like 4 things replaced and that it would take a week to order the parts and then a few more days to replace them). At the price they quoted, we could buy a new fridge, which we were not going to do as renters. Slava J came by the next day and the quoted price was reasonable and instead of bouncing us around he was professional, personable, and courteous. It turned out there was just a small issue with the thermostat and the timer.We just went to Dial Appliance Service again, this time as homeowners for our dryer, and were once again thrilled with his services. He even noticed something we hadnt caught with our washer - how the door was attached that sometimes made it leak, and didnt charge us anything extra to do that quick fix.I would not recommend anyone else go to anyone but this guy, and Ill always use and recommend him to others for any appliance-related repair that needs to get done. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! The company performed a service call to identify problems in my over-the-stove microwave and dishwasher. Service call went OK, and the technicians quickly identified the problems. However, when I called the next day to find out the cost of repair I was blown away by the ridiculously high asking price. To replace a the turntable motor in the microwave they quoted at $219 and to replace a broke drain pump in the dishwasher $269. The company does offer to subtract the service call fee if you decide to go through with the repairs. Even so, I looked for the broken parts on the internet, the mircrowave motor par was $19 and the dishwasher pump part was $60, which means minus the service call fee they would still collect $328 labor fee(without parts included). That is way too greedy! How many hours where they planning to spend installing 2 parts?The guy on the phone gave me some lame excuse about labor & parts being almost expensive as replacing the units with new appliances, said something about his industry dying because the cost to replace is cheaper. I just called other providers and got quoted cheaper labor rates, bought the parts myself and was done with it. Saved myself over $130 by doing a little extra.
When I was having problems with the spin cycle of my washer I called the place I found on line called Dial Washer and Dryer Repair. They sent a repair technician to my Brooklyn apartment and in an hour my washer repair job was finished. He said it was something to do with the drum. I am just glad the he had the parts needed and got it working smoothly again.
They are so unprofessional its ridiculous. My freezer was not freezing and this repair guy came out and stood with my freezer open shined a flash light around and told me to defrost the fridge and that he would be back Saturday..Mind you its Saturday! And ive had the problem for 2 weeks already . So I asked can I have something sooner? He just brushed me off and stated I dont know, I dont know and tells me to defrost the fridge, I asked what am I defrosting it wont freeze! He said, I dont know. So when LG called to ask how was our service I stated unsatisfactory, only to have them have dial appliance call us back to not have anything change at all... and state he already told you this and that.... So nothing changed.. so for 3 weeks with no freezer and 3 small children. My patience is done! With LG & dial appliance.. My warranty is under a year and LG states that my warranty doesnt cover returns but only repairs. So dial appliance calls the day for repair and asks if my fridge is defrosted... So I say.. again.... Its not freezing, but im waiting for you, he yells it needs to be defrosted! Im telling him I dont know why you keep saying that! They cancelled my repair because I got upset and told them that if I had proper understanding from the beginning this would never have happened! So he said hes canceling my repair! After all of this hassel!... ANYWAY IM OVER BOTH... I WILL NEVER BUY LG PRODUCTS AGAIN! THEIR MOBILE PHONES SUCK! AND THEIR SERVICE FOR APPLIANCES SUCK AS WELL! & IM UNDER MY 1 YEAR WARRANTY AND CANT GET PROMPT SERVICE NOR CAN I RETURN IT.
Today was our 3rd repair with them (washer, dryer, now our frig) and Dial Appliance is the BEST, hands-down. Great service, on-time, friendly, competent. Everything you want in appliance repair.This time it was our ice maker and although I hate it when my appliances break, I will always call Dial Appliance.
I had a Samsung refrigerator, 28 Cu/ft and the repair person came on schedule. Ice had built up and the fan was hitting the ice. The repairman (Ish) was prompt, courteous and had the job done in less than 35 minutes. He had the right tools for the job and knew exactly what to do. I am extremely grateful.
Dial Appliance Service saved me the expense replacing my refrigerator by replacing the motor. I had called another refrigerator repair company and they wanted to sell me a new one and said it was not worth fixing mine. Dial Appliance Service of Brooklyn not only proved them wrong but saved me a lot of money. I am calling them from now on for any appliance repair.
My oven stopped working so I called Dial Appliances and the guy came out promptly, diagnosed and fixed the problem fast and he could not have been more informative, helpful (moving the oven without damaging the floor and reasonably priced also. Highly recommend Dial Appliances

2022-05-12Our 8 year old LG washer stopped draining without too much warning, and I called Dial right away. I chose Dial because they repaired our LG fridge last summer, which is working great now.Pleasantly, Dial gave me a time window for a technician to come the following day, and Alex came earlier side of the window (and he called me a few minutes before he arrived). He diagnosed the issue and started repairing the washer on the spot. In an hour or so, we regained the working LG washer! Alex was professional and knowledgeable. We will use Dial again for our appliances repair.

2022-02-18The repairman had to come back 3 times because of parts that were being shipped directly from Frigidaire for my oven. He was on time, professional, and seemed to know what he was doing. My oven is now in great working order. Keeping my fingers crossed that the oven will not go on the blink again. PS, the receptionists taking the calls at Dial were extremely professional and expedited services.

2022-03-29They were responsive and the tech was knowledgeable. Both times they didn’t make their expected arrival window but they kept me informed, and the tech worked late in order to still come on the promised day. I suspect it’s because the tech is over scheduled. But Alex clearly knows what he’s doing and fixed the dishwasher, was knowledgeable and professional.

2022-03-25Alex determined I needed a new igniter and came back later in the week with the parts and completed the repair. He was professional and efficient. Also, Maria was always responsive over the phone when I called to ask about ETA. Overall, my stove was fixed quickly and painlessly so I’m satisfied!

2022-06-10Hi, I called dial appliance to fix my freezer it’s not producing ice, they came down said it needed a new ice maker, the technician replaced the ice maker it still didn’t work, then he came back 3 weeks later and said I should defrost the fridge for 48 hours and it should work, I did that it still didn’t work. Then he said he doesn’t know maybe needs a new door ….. for $1500 dollars…. They charged me and I still have no ice the staff was rude. I don’t think they were knowledgeable it was a trial and error over a month and they still couldn’t diagnose or fix the problem.

2021-12-16The management company for my building uses Dial Appliance Service. They have come to me 3 times now. The same tech has come every time and has been outstanding. Timely, professional, polite, knowledgeable, clean, and fast. The girls who handle the calls are great too. Highly recommend!
