Hired them to move me this past weekend.. horrible horrible experience. They were late and when they finally showed up it took them 45 minutes to start moving from the start time . They said 3 movers I only received 2. They scratched my walls and my furniture then argued they didnt do it . They admitted they broke a dresser ( not fixable) . The dresser was new 10 months ago and paid over 699 for it and they took 100 bucks off the bill. The one mover had his friends pull up and they were smoking weed. I have a picture but not sure how to upload it. Do not use these people clearly they hire anybody.
I was impressed. Diamond Moving showed up 15 minutes early, the guys were super nice, and they knocked out everything on the to-do list in a concise fashion. They even finished earlier than the estimate predicted. Job well done!
I would give 0 stars. We live in Manhattan beach, CA we have a 930 sq ft apt with minimal furniture... not even a kitchen table and no storage... we are moving to Phoenix, az. We spoke with a very nice sales representative named Michael, from United moving experts. He talked up the company and made it seem like it was the best. Everything up until we gave our deposit for our locked in quoted amount of 2250.00 was great. We had to do ALL of our own packing and wrapping. Every time united moving experts would call to follow up it was a different representative. Multiple people asked us to sign the same contract that was already signed... so clearly there was poor communication. They contracted out to use Diamond moving and storage to pick up our stuff and move it to Az. This company came in at 7am ended at 3:15pm and loaded up everything. As they finished the job they told my husband that the new price was 4,000.00 OVER the quoted price that we signed contracts on and paid a deposit on AFTER THEY PACKED UP OUR ENTIRE APT. What they should have done was came in, analyzed the apartment and before they started loading the truck told us it was going to be $4,000 OVER the quoted price.... for an apartment that we packed ourselves! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are EXTREMELY unorganized. They have terrible communication and clearly they are totally overpriced! Terrible service. They agreed to move our furniture, which was disassembled and in a garage, and the manager agreed that the workers would assemble it at the destination. But when the workers came, they claimed that they had no knowledge of the assembly, and werent gonna do it. Instead of waiting to clear things up with the manager, they just got in the truck and left.Ended up using another moving service which was much better than this one.
TLDR: Dont hire them! late, faulty quote, unfinished move, caused damage, fought our claim for repairsFULL REVIEW:After getting multiple quotes and reading reviews, we decided to hire a company that does both moving and storage for our moves – we had a temporary address between selling/buying houses. Diamond Moving and Storage was in a similar price range for both services as other companies and, at the time, reviews were a bit higher for them than the other companies we researched. The first part of our move was simple: a crew arrived to take our large furniture to storage and all other belongings we moved ourselves into our temporary address. That first crew was awesome! They called when they were on their way and took great care of our items. The crew who performed the second part of our move 3 months later was an entirely different experience. They were late and did not call ahead. In fact, I had to call to get a status update and they arrived 2 hours later. When I scheduled this move with the owner, I listed out all items and the number of boxes. The owner was with this crew and acted surprised by what we had, even though I had spoken directly with him when I made arrangements. The 2 other men on the crew complained about how difficult the owner is to work with and one of them had plans to leave employment there because of how difficult the owner is. After much deliberation, I told the crew to keep the move to the quoted price, whatever that meant to them, and we would move the rest ourselves. The owner agreed. The crew worked without any assistive devices, like dollies and straps, and didn’t have furniture covers for the pieces we did not have in storage. They also did not place pads down in our temporary address to protect the floor. They loaded the truck (leaving a majority of our items behind), drove to the new house, and unloaded. The time it took them went slightly over the quoted amount but he kindly discounted me to hold to the original quote as we had agreed upon. Later that night, after business hours, we found damage in our home from the movers placing an appliance, in a room the owner did not at any point enter during the move. The appliance remained unmoved for 3 days until they were installed. During that 3-day period, we tried working with the owner to resolve the matter. We called first thing the day after the move to discuss the damage. The owner reported to our home, assessed the issue and offered to refund us the cost of our move. We declined this initial offer so we could get a quote for repair. Later that day he asked for pictures then came back to the house to take them himself. He then said he would pay us after we obtained a quote for repair. While I waited for the quote from our contractor, we received a letter from the owner lying about the situation in a number of aspects (from which appliance caused the damage, to the location of the appliance, and outright lies about measurements he took – he was never unaccompanied in our home and did not once measure anything). Funny enough, the actual installed location of the appliance is farther forward than the damage, proving his measurements are outright lies. As advised by our attorney, we begrudgingly accepted a payment for our complaints from the company in an amount less than the cost of the recommended adequate repairs for the damage the movers caused, and less than we paid for the move. I’ve since noticed some damage on our furniture but will not waste my time dealing any more with this company. They treat their employees and customers terribly!
Staff was friendly. Moved me across town. Struggled somewhat with the washer and dryer and when we reached the new location they said the appliances wont get in the door, they were too large. Claimed they measured three times and the doorway was too narrow so they left the washer and dryer in the yard. They said they knew an appliance dealer who would exchange my appliances for some that would fit. So two days later I decided to measure myself and there was a four inch clearance. So now I have to pay someone else to carry my appliances in the basement. They didnt have to lie about it. They carried them across town but didnt want to lift them into the basement. SAD.
Very bad in all honesty. I was supposed to move in yesterday, and when they arrived at my APT they told me that They dont have time today because a partner was going to devote himself to his partners birthday. They promised me that They gonna come today, and they did not. Honestly they are very badly educated, I DO NOT RECOMMEND them at all. They promise you something, and they do not fulfill it.
If you care about your property at all DO NOT USE DIAMOND MOVING & STORAGE. They will SCAM YOU, DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY, AND THEN CALL YOU A LIAR WHEN YOU CONFRONT THEM. I hired them to move my mother from one house to another and they damaged all of her property worth thousands of dollars, - some of which was antique and irreplaceable - they damaged the walls and floors in both houses, - I had to hire a contractor when they were done - and they stole a drawer of clothing and multiple bottles of wine. AWFUL! And that’s not even the half of it. When I spoke to the receptionist, Elyse, who does all the booking, she quoted me one price that somehow doubled when the job was finished. I booked four movers, who showed up AN HOUR LATE and one of them, the manager Keith, LEFT after an hour of work. Halfway through the move, he was replaced by two men, one of which showed up drunk and was rude and belligerent the entire time.THEIR MOVERS ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS no matter what they tell you. One of them even admitted that he worked at Walmart and was only helping Diamond for the day, which explains why they did not know what they were doing. They did not properly wrap her furniture to protect it from being damaged and from damaging the walls and floors. They did not take off the refrigerator doors or knobs on the stove so both were severely scratched in the process - THIS IS MOVING 101!!! In addition, it was raining that day and they set her furniture down IN WATER, which is why a lot of it has water damage. THE EXTENT OF THEIR NEGLIGENCE IS INSANE! They also took extensive breaks during the day and Diamond decided to charge ME for 14 hours when they only did 6 hours of work!Because the move was so awful, I told my mother to hold payment until I talked to Bob Sireci, the owner of Diamond Moving & Storage, but when she did so, THEIR MOVERS GANGED UP ON HER and scared her into paying them. She was an older woman by herself. HOW IS THAT OK? When I called Bob to talk about his movers and payment for all the damage, which is owed to us via the contract we signed, he said that she ganged up on them! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? No, because 1 woman against 5 men is impossible. He proceeded to call me a liar and after 6 weeks of going back and forth via email, phone, and one in-person showing of both properties so he could see the damage for himself, Bob stopped responding to any and all forms of communication. In this day and age, how can you treat people this way?Honestly, go with any other company, just DON’T USE DIAMOND MOVING & STORAGE. YOU WILL REGRET IT! Happy to share photos with anyone as proof. I tried to post them here, but I think Diamond keeps taking them down. Typical!
DO NOT BE SCAMMED - They initially quote you a nice and fair price. Sounds too good to be true... Well it is. Once you actually call and try to schedule your move they jack up all costs(when they get your item list) THEY CHARGE YOU ONE HOUR IN FEES ($140) TO JUST DRIVE TO YOUR HOUSE FROM THEIR SHOP!!! They quoted me 5 hours to move a piano, bed, 3 dresses and a couch!!!!! Not professional at all. Beware if you decide to conduct business with this mom and pop operation.
I hired this company to move our things this past Saturday. Honestly, best service and well worth every penny. They went from a third floor to a third floor in 12 degree weather. They shrink wrapped the couch. They did everything beautifully and even helped take things apart. They even had helpful suggestions and actually cared. I would recommend them to anyone!!
The movers were very professional. The three males that they sent were awesome. I love you guys. Diamond movers youre the best, you did a wonderful job.
Bob and his team at Diamond went above and beyond for me as I unloaded my storage unit. They offered their additional help and service without me even having to ask. Excellent conditions as well, all of my things were just as I left them. Thank you so much!
These guys were fast, affordable, and extremely professional. Very happy we used them. They came in and moved all my stuff extremely fast and then came in under budget at the end. Highly recommended.

2022-07-05I found out at the beginning of June that my move to a better apartment building was going to happen at the end of the month. I received estimates for moving from other companies for over $2000 but they couldn’t do it because of such a short notice. I called Diamond and spoke with Elise. She set it up perfectly for me. They came on the date and at the time they said and packed it, moved it and unpacked it for almost half the cost of the other companies. Extremely professional people with great personalities. They made moving almost easy enough to be willing to do again.

2022-04-05The woman, and I use taht word loosely in charge of moves is nasty, rude, tried to talk over me after giving my move date to someone else after I confirmed the date. That person is not professional, does not know how to talk to people and I will never use them again. The nice woman who answers the phone is really great, but the other thing, lets just say miserable, mean people should not work with customers. Very poor customer service skills...smh

2021-09-24We booked Diamond Moving to move us from Kenmore to Amherst. They arrived on time with a GIANT truck and 3 workers. The crew was VERY friendly and professional. We left them unattended and they handled everything perfectly in our absence. The job ran long and they had to come back today to finish up but they did a GREAT job. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing movers.

2022-01-01Very nice and professional. Just moved . Hopefully I wont move next year. Landlord wasnt doing his job. So no choice this time. Had the same guy in 2019. Had to move in a different area due to my disability cant do stairs nomore. Will get them again in the future

2021-11-10Diamond Moving helped me move to my new apartment across town, and came completely prepared and on-time! Isaiah and Terry were awesome- they moved all of my belongings carefully and quickly, and even disassembled then reassembled all of my furniture for me. I recommend them to anyone looking for help with a move within the Buffalo area!

2021-03-15We moved from house to apartment to new house. Diamond moving stored items while we were in transition along with moving us to all different locations. They were very professional and great price. Hopefully will not be moving anytime soon but will definitely recommend using diamond moving and storage to anyone who is!

2019-01-08I moved from a second floor apartment to a one-story ranch fifteen minutes away. From the first call, I had an interesting interaction with the receptionist who was convinced that I would need to pay for at least 8 hours of moving (including travel time from West Seneca to Depew.) She was constantly saying that they might not be able to move everything on my list. I should expect them to not be able to finish, etc. She asked if my husband would be willing to move things down the stairs from our second floor to the road to expedite things. Um, I hate to be a pain, but I am paying you for that?Anyway, they were the only company available the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and ended up finishing their trip/move in under 5 hours so I didnt spend as much as I planned (was around $490-550 with tips,) which was nice. And I got my furniture to my new house before visitors on Thanksgiving, I was really grateful for their availability.They couldnt move my couch because it would not fit comfortably out of the apartment and since we were renting, they could not do it. I had to ask a friend to bring their truck and move the giant couch by ourselves. The movers were a little rough with some of my dressers (somehow in the move got a hole in the bottom of a drawer?) and the employees themselves were rough around the edges. They left moving blankets in my yard. I was appreciative for their time, but I ended up moving smaller stuff by myself due to budget restrictions and in the end I am not sure if I would use them again/recommend.

2020-07-02I was extremely pleased with all the guys from Diamond Movers. They did a fantastic job ! They were professional and neat and worked constantly... no slackers on this crew. They took care with every piece they moved and even came in under estimate . I highly recommend them and will call on them again for another move in the future. You wont be disappointed!!

2018-08-07I can not recommend this moving company enough. I had three men—Vince, mike, and a third one whose name I cant recall—who were the best movers I have ever used. They listened to me explain how I wanted things moved and arranged and they asked a lot of thoughtful questions about where to put my belongings. They packed up a truck for me and it was totally secure. They were wonderful and took the stress out of moving, which says a lot!
