Best surf and turf anywhere. Lovely family who is dedicated to making the dining experience top shelf. Have been going to Dick and Pegs for over 35 years. Always the best!!!!

Home away from home. A favorite when we are up at Caroga Lake. The atmosphere , food , bar and especially the owners make this the go-to place. Cant wait to get back in May.

2021-08-27Very good service. When you walk in it’s very well decorated and makes you feel as if you are home. They take time according to have your courses brought to you accordingly. Perfect portions. I left with no leftovers but a full stomach. The meals you can tell are made the minute it’s placed. I appreciate how much they served me with smiles and not at all pushing you to leave. Left the table and had conversations with some of the owners and we were able to share memories.Past this restaurant many times over many years and have never stopped till tonight and upset that I haven’t gone here sooner. Thank you again for amazing service even during COVID and seats being limited. I appreciate the meal and the smile that was on my face when I left.

2022-05-01Amazing dinner. I didnt have a reservation but was made to feel welcome. The staff were wonderful, welcoming and very attentive. I was asked my name and introduced to the rest of the patrons. I look forward to my next visit to the area and will be sure to reserve a table for our family.

2021-10-29We had a wonderful dinner here last night. Our son utilizes a wheelchair and has special needs, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make our meal enjoyable. The place is wheelchair accessible, and it was easy to maneuver inside the restaurant as well. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious (grilled shrimp with fettuccine Alfredo, surf and turf, a haddock dish), and my margarita was one of the best I have ever had. Delightful surprises like snack bowls of Goldfish crackers and mini boards with crackers and cheese spread while waiting for the meal added to the fun. We are not local to this area, but should we find ourselves back here again, we will definitely return. Reservations are highly recommended.
