The basically CHILDREN in the sneaker dept SUCKED, seemed like they couldnt care less, walked by me like 89 times and ultimately did not ask me if I needed help I had to flag one of them down and he seemed bothered by it despite him doing nothing but playing on his phone or laughing it up with his 3 coworkers who also werent helping anyone
Wasnt happy today when I found a youth James Harden Jersey for $55 and and it was clearly marked and was told thats not our store tag its $75 (why is it hanging on the rack ?) Only bad experience ever with the store

Great place. Your employee Billy made me laugh and helped me find what I needed. However I heard one of your employees cough and was looking sickly. Won’t say names but might wanna check on that.
The fishing selection has everything you need including employees that are very knowledgeable and eager to help you. One employee named Jake has helped me so much with excelling in the hobby that I highly recommended this place to everybody.
This store is good. Just wish they had better customer service. I feel like when I walk in there Im walking into Walmart as in with the customer service. But overall was good
I bought my first baseball glove here after more than forty years. Fifty dollars. Really. My last one was fifteen, but you could buy a Corolla for four thousand. Its all relative. Then I found myself looking at cycling jerseys which cost one-third to one-half the price of those found at local bike shops. I like that because I dont wash them right away...I just buy new ones. So I looked around and said to self: hmm... crossbows... What could I do with that since I dont hunt? Okay, I hunt for the last beer in the fridge, but thats it...and I refuse to puncture perfectly good beer cans while they are in captivity. Theres no sport in that. I stretched my brain to figure what I would use it for. I came up empty.Looked at the bikes. I have five..and their two-wheelers are generally toy quality>>>insert here
Huge store as all DICKS are, and was greeted politely upon entering but the service was horrible. They need more sales people on floor and only 2 registers were open. It took a lot longer to shop,buy, and leave than it should have.
Reminds me of Sport Authority. It carries all the brands but not the latest styles for clothes and sneakers. Seems like they are a season behind or its not the same quality.
Very good lots of stuff in stock have slot of sneakers and very comfortable sneakers. If you like sports this is the place.

Went there for a NYS Fresh Water Fishing License, quick and easy !The Dicks employee was professional and very helpful, besides taking care of my Fresh Water license, he also registered me for the FREE Salt Water License...very positive experience.
They have so many good things and if u need to buy cleats theres a variety of them if ur looking for sneakers there are a ton of them too

Went for the golf sale but they only had s few odd pairs on sale, all womens sizes. Otherwise big selection at good prices.

Ive been to a few locations but this one is tremendous I believe its an old Macys or JC Penneys building. It has plenty of selection in all its different departments.

The Patchogue location always has much more clearance and great deals but Bayshore is always good for selection even at full price.
Second visit in a row I was unable to find an employee to help with finding something. Three stars because the brands and selection is still very good.
I must be entering through a different door than the other reviewers because I find the store poorly staffed and have been skunked there more than a few times. Waders, bowling shoes, bike grips....skunked x3
They have something for everyone but they can be a bit pricey.
I ordered some stuff online and I came here to pick it up. Order was ready in minutes and it took seconds for the staff to find for me. Ill definitely be back.

2021-10-27I went in to get a backpack for my daughter. And although, Ive been here already several times, i hardly shop for myself. I last bought myself the Timberland Pro boots and theyre awesome. But next time Ill go check out a bunch of fitness gear and accessories for myself. 💪🏽💪🏽 Keep up the good work and Super Neat store 💎

2021-08-09Great service and selection. I got there 10 minutes before they closed. I was made aware that they were closing but I wasnt rushed. My son was trying on football gloves so he removed a bracelet that we then dropped. We made our purchase and left as they lockedthe doors. We realized 8 minutes later so I called and surprisingly they picked up. The worker was very accommodating and found the bracelet. They let us come up and as he left the store he handed my son his bracelet.

2021-05-22I was very happy with my experience with the Golf Galaxy section. They had a large selection of clubs. I am a lefty so it is difficult to find clubs for me. Christian was awesome! He helped me with all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. His passion for golf really showed. Now I am excited to get out and play some rounds of golf.

2021-09-05Worst customer service I’ve seen in a while. Went in to buy a new driver and was stuck between two brands. There were 4 gentlemen working by the golf section and all useless. I kept asking questions but couldn’t get a direct answer and they wouldn’t allow me to use the simulator to see which one “felt” better. Needless to say, they lost that sale and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

2020-06-20Great customer service, i had a rather annoying request for something that i needed in a really timely manner and Chris was able to help me big time. I really appreciate the level of service i received. its employees like him and everyone else that helped make it happen, they make shopping at places like this far better then just going online.

2021-06-28Bay Shore, NY store.Went to Golf Galaxy section of store . Store staff was extremely helpful in selecting a pair of shoes , answered all questions with sound of good knowledge of products . Recommended a pair of shoes more suited to my stature and abilities . Will make more visits there to add additional comments in near future .

2019-03-10First time at this location. Store was very busy on a cold, rainy Sunday. There was a lot of helpful floor staff just waiting to offer assistance; Great staff, friendly service and quick check out. There was plenty of free parking and the store is well lit, very clean and nice wide isles for strollers or wheel chairs.
