TERRIBLE customer service. One of the managers was extremely rude and did not provide any help when looking for womens sneakers. It was clear she did not want to be of any assistance and it also showed in her face and attitude. None of the employees were welcoming or polite.

Every time Im in this store, the staff is either nowhere to be found or is rude, miserable, or socially inept to the point where Im uncomfortable even conversing with them. This isnt some exception, its not some cluster of experiences that happened in a limited period of time. This experience goes back decades. I had the same experience here as a child with my parents as I did the other day visiting the store as an adult. Frankly, I dont know how this location stays open. Out of the few times Ive been here, I cant remember waiting on line to check out. There are never any customers. Did they sign a 20-year lease on this location? Or is somebody in upper-management not paying attention? Im giving the store 2/5 stars instead of 1/5 because the location is consistently clean, reasonably organized, and the one time I had to return something, it was done quickly and uneventfully.
I went there before Christmas to look at scopes for a gift. Considering that there isnt any brick and mortar sports shops close to where I live this was my only option other then driving a few hours away to Cabelas. They had an okay selection of products just enough to be acceptable. My biggest disappointment was the little knowledge of they representative behind the counter, not with the products but with the core policies of the company. The rep had no idea what there return policies were or if they did anything special for the holiday season. These company policies should be known by everyone working there and can easily make or break a purchase.
Nice clothes I bought exactly what I needed
Shelves are bare. The employee says store doesnt order to fill. Ridiculous. When asking for items multiple times pointed in direction instead of walking me items even though employees were talking needless to say left with 1 item.
Ken was one of the nicest people Ive dealt with in area of expertise.
This is the only store in my area that sales good Nike hats so I like Dicks and they usually always have their shelves full. You wont be disappointed

An overpriced, but decent selection of mid-quality Chinese made sporting equipment. The staff are apathetic teenagers, so expect to research any questions online beforehand.

2022-04-10Needed a replacement slider for a brand new yeti I bought for my husband. Bought the wrong ones and returned to store to exchange. We couldnt find what we needed, so I found Ian and he dropped everything to assist us. Showed him what we needed and he helped us with our dilemma. His customer service was impeccable. Keep this guy!!

2022-05-13If I could give negative stars I would went in to buy 2 shotguns around 430pm on a Thurs and no one it the entire store knew how to sell one or just didnt want to be bothered but customer service took my complaint lets see what happens but will be going to basspro instead do not go to middletown!!!

2021-12-21Last night the Pine Bush Community Band played in front of the store entrance. Our group had contacted the store manager in advance to make sure we were able to bring our equipment and personnel through the store to access our performance spot. The manager not only was gracious in welcoming our 50 member group to traipse through, but he helped us with his time on a busy Christmas shopping night. Our performance went well in no small part thanks to our ease of getting our equipment in. I will continue to shop at this location as it is small costumer service gestures such as this that keep me coming back.

2018-05-09Just bought a bike . $$$ but well worth a good built bike. Didnt know they do a tune up before purchasing. Everyone was helpful and professional. Warentey and manual was helpful.

2021-06-09N Galleria Dr Ste Middletown New York 10941 Poor Customer service at the Lodge area. My experience was one of waiting at the counter with no acknowledgement while there was two store associates with one customer. A simple I be right with you would have been sofice. Then finally an un-enthusiastic how can I help you got my questions answered waited again till the associates finished with the customer. Got the attention of the associate concerning a purchase then kept me waiting unnecessarily for a simple purchase which I never made because I decided to walk off.

2020-09-28I went to get waders for fishing they had decent selection. Just be careful some of waders were in the wrong boxes and missing parts, I would also recommend to put a bench in that area to help try them on and off, some of us anglers have bad backs.
