Quick service. Your in and out even when there is a lunch rush. The food is great, fresh, tasty, seasoned well and fills you up. One of the few fast food places that provides fish that actually taste and looks like fish. Roasted sweet potato and Mac and cheese are top notch.
This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered at Dig Inn. I have ordered at Pine Street and Midtown East and have not received the amount of attitude and excuse me for the word but there is no other word that can describe how GHETTO the staff is. I dont know who is in charge of hiring these people but they need to carefully select people who arent so uneducated and rude.10/6/18 around Noon I step in the store and instantly hear loud laughing non-stop. I also hear music blasting like if it were a nightclub, no one asked me if I needed help, I assume I go to the counter were the food was and order. As I got to the counter Im having trouble ordering because the staff cant hear me, I wonder why? as I screamed my order to the gentleman there was a guy part of the staff just standing there staring. I ordered Salmon Brown Rice Broccoli & Sweet Potatoes. The guy asked for Salmon and the chef said 2 minutes I said fine, boy those two minutes were so awkward with the staff just laughing and having loud conversations. The African-American young lady at the front register had this look in her face as in she want going to help me. She was quick to charge my card and dismiss me, while she laughed loudly and put lip gloss on while handling food. I would say this isnt the staff you pick for any retail store, you need people who are willing to help and know that people are very finicky when it comes to food. As the salmon came the food looked plopped and unorganized, wasnt escorted to the forks or bags, I literally was on my own. Worst Experience ever, as I opened my food when I got to work I noticed I wasted 14.00$ on trash.Salmon was raw in the middle! Not slightly pink, it was raw. Skin was soggy, broccoli was beyond yellow it was brown, rice was greasy and over all food was cold! If this is the kind of service you guys are going to give I will not being buying from any dig-inn location. I would love a refund for the food, and I am not the refund asking person but that food was literally a waste of money!
I still havent fallen out of love with Dig for healthy fast food in Lincoln Center but the fact that a bowl with a beverage is 20 bucks to my mind means there should at least be a bathroom on the premesis. The cleanliness of the dining area and the lack of necessary amenities detract stars from this experience.
Amazing food but rude and inpatient staff, maybe everyone working here has a horrible manager or something.Even so, I wont be returning because I dont enjoy being spoken to like Im a piece of....Also, shocking environmental policies. Who needs a plastic lid to walk 5 feet? Why are the plastic forks and knives in a bag together? Who even needs a fork for a bowl of salad? Plastic cup that will last 1000 years for one cup of water? Get it together!
I love this place. The set up is like Chipotle where you tell the workers what you want and they move so quickly. I love the food. I think that they have a great selection for both carnivores and vegetarians! The prices are pretty decent and it is in a high traffic area but I was out of there within five minutes. The food feels like Southern comfort. I cant wait to come back.
Screwed up my order of a Caesar salad and charred chicken. Completely forgot to put in the charred chicken. Very disappointed. Called up for a refund. Spoke to manager Crystal. She refused a refund for the ruined meal. Very arrogant management. Order only if you want to wreck your evening.
Great spot! Servers are very cordial always with smiles on their faces and seem happy doing what they do. A socially responsible establishment with good food prepped and eaten cleanly. Prices for Manhattan are extremely reasonable and have been there twice and no doubt more visits to follow. Love this place!
I am a restaurant manager and I dont understand the lock of hospitality this place has. However the cashier and the lady next to her were very nice. Food is good. Unfortunately the service is mediocre and they have such an attitude . You may have the best food but if you dont feel welcome you wont comeback. You would like to spend your money in a place you feel welcome and your business is appreciate it.
I’m trying this place for the first time because a friend recommended it the menu look great so I placed an order online and was on my way to pick it up when I went inside it was the most unwelcoming feeling I got from the staff to even go further when I got my order the chicken was missing from it so I asked nicely is the chicken in there and the guy gave me the only look like if he was annoyed that I ask so he eventually gave it to me I left and went to park my car so I can eat as I went through my order I noticed that the parmesan cauliflower I ordered wasn’t in there and that’s the reason why I gave this store 1 star
I’ve been there twice, each time seeing different employees. Everyone that worked there had AMAZING customer service skills. Very kind and smiles on their faces. I been to other establishments where the employees had attitudes. Good food and great service. Highly recommend
Love dig inn and frequently go, but first time at this location.. Staff is not knowledgeable on whats in the food, I asked what my vegan options were as I usually do and the girl tells me everything is vegan, I know thats not true.. She had major attitude and asked her coworker next to her that also agreed its all vegan... I know for a fact at least the Mac and Cheese is not, I start asking about ingredients in some of the veggie sides that look interesting, she clearly is annoyed and begins to list ingredients that are seemingly vegan then I see an egg white and asked her is that egg she says oh yeah it has egg too, I said thats not vegan then, she says nothing just staring through me like Im not even speaking, I ask whats in the next dish I saw that looked like kale but with mayo, I said is that mayo? No she said its just kale, nuts, lemon.. I said then whats the white stuff if not mayo? She said Caesar dressing, again I politely inform her thats not vegan then either, again says nothing just more annoyed with me, this day and age and in NYC to boot food staff should know whats in the food or at the very least say they dont know and ask someone, dont just assume! I have a severe fish allergy (anchovies in many Caesar dressings) and a horrible intolerance to dairy, food allergies are no joke, this staff and management needs better training in this location.
I jus had my second lunch there and it was one of the best lunches i have ever had.....yes, it was that good.....i had the grilled peaches with mac and cheese and their chicken meatballs......grilled peaches were different and amazing and their mac and cheese was jus sooooo good....i dont usually eat mac and cheese cuz i rarely find it worth the calories, but this was jus fantastic (and worth it) and their chicken meatball was one of the best meatballs (and sauce) i have ever had......you can taste the care they put into their product.....it tastes and feels healthy.......soooo good.....i jus love this place!!!!
It is a bowl meal shop that you can choose and make yourself.Select (1) rice, (2) vegetables, and (3) protein (meat and fish) in order.By using lettuce instead of rice for ①, you can make it a perfect diet. The vegetables in (2) include macaroni cheese, asparagus grilled, cauliflower roasted, and other green vegetables.③ For protein, you can choose chicken or beef for meat, salmon or tofu for fish. Its fun to be able to create something that is full of originality according to the mood at that time. All the ingredients are quite delicious and the volume is perfect.

2022-04-22I love this place, I cleaned my plate. The front line staff could use a refresher on customer service, other than that EXCELLENT! Their playlist is Da Bomb, they should share it with their customers.

2021-11-18This place is amazing. Easily a 5/5.They have seriously perfected each ingredient.I ordered a cashew caesar base with carrots, charred broccoli, brussels sprouts, sweet potato, avocado, and tofu. And let me just say, I finished everything. And barely had to use the side sauces, that’s how tasty everything was.Favorites parts of the bowl were the cashew caesar base and the brussels sprouts. The only caveat - the tofu was a bit on the soft side. That isn’t even a concern, it was just something I noticed and would have ideally liked it to be truly more grilled and firm in terms of texture.Outstanding - thank you DIG!

2022-04-05Long time customer for years now. Just had a huge order delivered and everything was ULTRA SALTY, to the point that it was borderline inedible. Clearly, they are becoming a bit careless in the kitchen. Beware. To the management: please get your act together. Too much salt defeats the taste and the healthiness of your dishes..

2022-02-25I very much enjoy the tastes of Dig. Service was friendly and quick. The counter person was actually very helpful with helping me choose my drink from their selection even admitting that one of the flavors was less preferred from most guests.

2021-12-21Fast Simple Affordable = Excellent ! Not fancy or French but the kale salad with Quinoa & a light orangy dressing was the best kale Ive had. Grilled salmon with crunchy well seasoned broccoli over a crisp slaw & brown rice. Plus a healthy oatmeal type cookie...just over $ 20 ordered online. Google map was wrong about location but when I got there my order was on the pick up shelf clearly marked by a printed receipt with my name details etc. The counter man took me for clue-less (true!) Kitchen / staff clean hardworking not too loud = overall impressive as perceived by someone whos made a real living working in temples of appetite.

2022-03-03The meal was fantastic and the price was fine. The atmosphere was a little crowded and seating was very limited, but I would come back for carryout as much as possible if I lived nearby.
