I found this place after searching “computer repair near me”. Top 10 on Yelp came up and I tried this store. Ben was extremely informative and was able to fix my laptop issue in 20 minutes while I was standing there. He also was able to help me with an unrelated phone issue while we talked too! I would definitely recommend going to Ben with any phone or computer issues. He was honest and upfront about whether he would be able to fix the certain problems before even opening up my laptop. No shady-ness and no price gauging. I will definitely be back with any electronic issues I have.
The owner and technician, Ben, is an honest, stand up guy. Straight up about price, explains exactly what hes doing and gets the job done fast. You are paying for quality work. He also looks for your feed back. I went to the wireless store a few doors down, left my phone there to be repaired for 2 weeks. During that time I got strung along and it was never repaired. I brought it to Ben and he fixed it in 2 days. Then I brought my daughters phone in and he fixed it in one day. Highly recommend this repair shop. I got my laptop repaired here and the owner sat here with me for over a hour and helped me set everything up. He is attentive and kind. My iPhone screen went black. Walked in expecting to replace my cracked screen since I wasn’t able to restart my phone on my own. He tried a couple of different reboot techniques and was able to get my cracked iPhone up and running. Didn’t not try selling me to replace my screen, rebooted my phone and expected nothing in return. Highly recommend his trustworthiness.
I stumbled upon this place because I needed to repair my iPhone camera. Ben the owner was honest, efficient and friendly. So glad I chose this repair shop after reading all the reviews. My son spilled cereal milk over the laptop causing it to shut down. Ben is honest and professional. He advised against the repair because it wasn’t worth it. Even though the laptop was fried, he was able to salvage all my data and transfer it to a thumb drive. Just got back from Digitcom. I brought in my mothers iPhone 6 which had a cracked screen. Id tried my hand at fixing it myself, ordering a replacement screen off of Amazon but failed miserably and decided to take it to a pro. The owner took a look at the replacement parts Id ordered and agreed to knock off some of the price and explained exactly what needed to be done. Having quoted me a generous price he sat down to work straight away and my moms phone was as good as new in around 15-20 minutes. He brought it to me and tested everything is front of me to make sure everything was working perfectly. He seems very knowledgeable and very honest. The price was great, the service was great, even the conversation as I was waiting was good. Will definitely come back again should I have another mishap with one of my pieces of tech. Highly recommended.
So recently my computer had broken down, I went to one shop that wasn’t able to do anything and they kept my computer for FIVE DAYS. However when a family member suggested this place I decided why not check it out. On the same day I brought it here and they were incredibly efficient and fixed my issue. Ben saved my life! He actually took precious photos from my old LG Cosmos phone from 2011 and transferred to my IPhone. It was a long hard job to get this done and Ben wouldn’t give up till the job was done! He took the time to help me and is such a gracious store owner! Came in needing a hard drive replacement for my laptop. Ben walked me through my options and helped me decide what was best for me. Super professional, really nice guy, and even better he was able to complete the repair same day. As a bonus, he helped me restore my Microsoft Office license, saving me some money there! I had an issue with my laptop this morning(Sunday). I brought it to Digitcom. Ben the owner was very helpful! He called me within 90 minutes and had my laptop working beautifully. His price was excellent. For any future repairs, without hesitation, Digitcom will get any future repairs needed from me.
5 stars. Would give 6 if I could. Ben at Digitcom was competent, professional, courteous, and extremely reasonably priced. My hard drive crashed. He was able to recover my data, and install it on my new laptop. He also installed Office 13 using my existing keycode, saving me from purchasing Office 365 as Windows was urging. As he set up my new computer with my old data, he made sure I understood. Im in my 70s, so his expertise, tips, honesty and patience really helped. Highly recommended!
Excellent service. The man helped me with the iphone 8 plus that was water damaged and wasnt turning on. Then after a few moments brought it back to life. He shown knowledge on what the problem could be and how to prevent that problem from getting any worse which gave me confidence as a customer. I have been playing online games since the 80’s, and I am currently an amateur photographer. I have had the best experience coming here! Digitcom was extremely helpful when my computer had crashed and I thought I had lost everything. They took the time and managed to salvage all my pictures and documents! They had me come in to check over every picture to make sure everything was gold before I completed my transaction. They also told me when I get my new computer they would help me transfer everything back from my new external hard drive! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

When I discovered Digitcom last year it was for my laptop that was accidentally stepped on and the screen was fractured. I called them up and he told me to bring it in right away. Ben was very honest with me and told me that he would try to fix it that day but if he couldn’t he would order the parts that he needed. After only a few hours he called and said it was fixed! We have gone to him at least 3-4 times since then to repair my family’s iPhones. Ben always does a great job, he’s very professional, and his fees are very reasonable. The owner is an honest local business owner . He demonstrated using demo products what was wrong with my tablet, and provided a competitive quote (cheaper than Apple ) to fix the issue. However, he recommended that I purchase a new tablet from apple even though he would have profited from a fix , given the age and extent of damage to my tablet. Highly recommend this business.
DONT GO TO GEEK SQUAD!!I brought my computer to best buy and was told my motherboard was shot and that I was better off buying a new computer... yeah right. When I went to Digitcom computers and the owner looked at my computer within ten minutes I saw my computer running for the first time in 8 months! My Son phone was extremely damaged. After being ran over I came in and the service was amazing. Not only was i able to get my sons screen fixed but I also was able to get a phone unlocked that I couldnt for weeks. The customer service was great he stayed late and made sure to cater to all of our needs. If you need screen repair I recommend this place today.

He diagnosed the problem and suggested I call Lenova directly because he believed it was still under warranty. My point here is he could’ve easily just not brought this up and repaired it himself for $150. Also fixed my son’s connectivity issues with his desktop. Highly recommend.
From the moment I walked into Digitcom Computer, I knew I was in good hands. My computer needed more RAM. I must admit I didnt fully grasp the concept. Ben, the owner, was extremely patient with me and offered an explanation that I could readily understand. I felt like I was the only customer he had to work with that day because he focused all of his attention on my issue. He forecasted an hour for this enhancement to my computer. He was done in much less than an hour, and I was a happy customer.I also asked him if he sold batteries for my car keys remote. He carefully opened the case, and showed me the type of battery and the size. Although he didnt have it in stock, he advised me where to purchase it. During the time he worked on my computer, I bought the battery. Upon my arrival back in his store, he inquired about it. Without hesitation, he opened my key fob again and inserted the new battery into its delicate space. There was no charge for this kind gesture.If you have any issues with your computer or your phone, dont hesitate to visit Ben. He can put your mind at ease much like he did for me.

Ben is an absolute legend! I got lucky and found his shop after not being satisfied with the timeline or effort given by a chain repair shop and couldnt be happier. Not only was i able to get my repair done the same day, but the price was better and included higher quality hardware. I have been going to Digitcom since 2008. I have always been treated well. I understand computers and have been buying parts to build my own from here for a long time. They have never tried to sell me stuff I didnt need and have taken the time to explain any questions I have had. There have been times when I have had trouble putting in a new part or installing software and after calling them for help, have taken the time over the phone to make sure everything was done right and working like it should. They have incredible knowledge of not only the newest computer technology but of past technology as well. And if they happen not to know will look up the information for you instead of making something up. They usually have parts in stock but if they dont can get it in a day or two. Again I have been shopping here for 11 years and have never had a problem. Always friendly, always knowledgeable, always treating people right. I guarantee you will not regret shopping or getting help here.

I came in thinking I needed a new cell phone battery for my galaxy s5. Instead of just selling me a battery he checked out my phone to make sure that was the issue. It was found to need a minor cleaning in the port . I am extremely happy he did not try to take advantage of me. I took my mac book pro to be fixed after having several issues with it. The team at Digitcom went way beyond what I had expected. The owner is very knowledgeable about computers. Best place to get electronics fixed! Ive been here twice for cracked screens. Im a bit clumsy. So first it was my iPhone 5s and just now my iPhone 6. I would give Digitcom 10 stars if I could! I spilled water on my MacBook Pro and it would not turn on. I was sure that my beloved laptop was done. When I took it to Apple they told me I might have to replace the motherboard as well as other parts due to the water damage, which would get very costly. After doing some research, I took my MacBook to Ben at Digitcom and he fixed it in three days! Words cannot express how grateful I am for Bens excellent work. He explained thoroughly what was wrong with the laptop and what he needed to do to fix it. Now my laptop is even better than it was prior to the water damage! Thank you Ben!

Found a Great place to fix my computer on Deer Park avenue in North Babylon, the name of the shop is Digitcom Computers Im so happy and pleased with the outcome of service price and honesty of the owner Ben. My computer has needed work for over a year, the hard drive had to replaced, however, I have had a fear of someone charging me a crazy amount of money for unnecessary work. The owner Ben showed me things about my computer I just never knew, his instructions alone were priceless! I now operate my computer differently because of his instructions and advice. Oh! And all my data was transferred and saved.I realize the advantages of taking my computer to a small store vs going online and or going to a larger store, where service isnt personalized.In the pass, I have called Dell, they are like robots who have tried to sell me another expensive warranty or a new computer and online I never know what Im getting! I went there yesterday and my computer was a mess. The owner spent 2-21/2 hours with me making sure the important documents were backed up to my external drive. We talked and really got to know each other. He also did work for my husband which we are happy with as well. More business owners can take a lesson from this as to how to treat a customer.

I was so impressed with this place. I was so upset I lost my phone. BUT the owner of this store sold me a beautiful phone for 1/3 the price anywhere else. The owner Set up everything and I now have everything I thought I lost on my lost phone. This new phone has all my pics, videos etc from my other phone. This place is a life saver. Very nice person who owns the business and his service is fast. He does not try to over price you and he gives you a screen protector for $10 if you get your phone fixed there. I recommend it 👍🏽.
My mother broke her iPhone 5c screen and we came to digicom and were blown away at the incredible customer service and how friendly the owner was. Ive been a customer here for along time, and for good reason! The technicians have recovered photos that I was told were not recoverable, they have spent countless time explaining things to me so I understand what is going on and why things are needed. The prices are extremely reasonable and all the work is always top notch! Whenever I have a question or am not sure what exactly I need to fix something or help my devices, Im always given great advice and pointed in the right direction!

I panicked when I thought I erased my documents from my thumb drive. After discovering thumb drive was damaged, Digitcom was able to retrieve all the documents and free lesson on the handling and use of thumb drive.This is the third time I have had repair service done. I went in yesterday after being told there’s nothing I can do about my phone by Verizon. My boyfriend recommended him because he had been going to him for years and had always been ridiculously successful and helpful. I bought a replacement for a broken mouse and when i got home it turns out it was the usb port that was broken. I come back fifteen minutes later ( they were technically closed) and he fixes the problem free of charge. Vendor is honest and affordable and is highly recommended.

On the recommendation of a friend, I stopped in to inquire about repairing an iPad Pro. I was very appreciative of the detailed explanation as to how the iPhone/iPad’s internal mechanism functions. Was there to get a cracked lens replaced, and because it turned out to be a bad screen as well, the owner Ben honered his quote and kept the price to only charge for the cracked lens. Now thats what I call an honest business man!
I had some memory diagnosed by the technician here at Digitcom. The Tech was very informative and thorough. The memory turned out to be bad. After this (non-scheduled) session I asked the Tech how much I owned him, and he replied, no charge. I was blowed away, I really felt like just paying him anyway. Ben you are the man!!!I couldnt get my desktop and audio Interface to operate, so I took my desktop and audio interface to Digicom in North Babylon. Ben checked it out and said I needed an additional firewire 400 port card for my computer, he installed it, and made sure everything worked properly and explained to me how to operate it. Everything worked great. Thanks to Ben, my desktop PC became an awesome home recording DAW setup.

My iPhone 6 screen broke in august I took to a kiosk in the mall the charged 118 to fix it with in 3 month the screen was popping out.. 2021-10-24I came in on a Sunday, desperate to get my phone back on to get pictures of my dogs who have passed. I wasnt sure anyone would be able to get on but they did! AND he fixed the button too! Really great price and fast service. He was very honest about what would happen if he couldnt get it on and explained why.
