Jim did a very intricate repair on my sunfish and did an excellent job; the young men that helped polish and load my boat on the trailer were very pleasant / professional. Great place to go.
My husband and I did a daily rental from here. We did a Stand Up Paddle board and a 1 man kayak. Not only was the price reasonable but it was a really fun day. The staff was helpful in making sure we felt comfortable before we left.
Rented kayaks. The process was very easy and the staff was friendly. Reasonable price. We will be coming back.

It was my first time kyacking!!! It was awesome ! Best time ever!!! The staff were friendly helpful knowledgeable!Most of all they gave me confidence Being my first time and not a good swimmer I felt at ease and when I got on the water it felt like I belonged there it was great there were swans n ducks n geese right along side of me IIts a day I will always cherish it was that great !!!! Cant wait to go again !!! See ya out there lol

If you need parts for a sailboat (Opti, Sunfish, Laser, C420) this is the place. Comes with everything for setup. The website has every part for these sailboats.

2022-06-11Best morning at the Dinghy Shop! My nephew and I rented kayaks. It was so special to spend the morning on the water and to share the Great South Bay with him. The staff and owner were so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back again and again!

2021-09-26I had a great shopping experience at the Dinghy Shop. Mike gave me great advice when purchasing my first kayak, and Jack and the rest of the guys are always helpful down by the water.They even allowed me to store the kayak at the shop for a week while I got my roof rack setup figured out. I highly recomend the Dingby Shop!

2022-06-07Had a great experience here buying an Old Town fishing kayak. Mike was really helpful and patient with me as i asked many questions. Felt no pressure to purchase at all, but came to the shop with that intent and walked out of there happily with my new boat. Highly recommend

2021-08-04Giving it 5/5 due to professionalism, knowledge, and willing to work with me. I had these lads ship me a kayak all the way out to Washington and they maintained a high level of professionalism and willingness to work with me the entire time. They always answered my calls to coordinate with me and my kayak to freight it to my state. I highly recommend this place of business in the future.

2021-07-05Disappointed and left bad taste , Spoke to the owner Jim was very genuine about selling a new sunfish. always wanted one and finally decided to buy. went back and bought They were good about it until i picked up/holding we paid in full but after sale had worse service its like got the $ and blew us off never responded i had pre paid for lessons and drove down they never scheduled it. no follow up poor business tactics sorry we spent 4 K plus and felt we were sad that all the wonderful things we were said were just lies It s a beautiful boat but wish I never bought it from them- they do not appreciate an easy sale should have negotiated a better deal

2021-08-06I love this place, I found them a long time ago and never got a chance to visit. I did make time to go and see if they had a certain paddle but no fault of theirs its the most common one and it was out of stock. Im a customer from now on, lovely people so nice and caring!

2020-07-17These are the nicest people around. So sweet. It’s a great location to hop on a paddle or kayak and see the nature that is out beautiful Island. And they’re very honest people to work with. I bought a great item from them and they were really helpful in explaining everything and setting me up.
