Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in other cities:
Went on Sunday the 24th. Food was good but the service not so good. Waiter took long to get to us and was servicing customers who were seated after us before us. Food arrives and the foods were different temperatures the meats were warm but. Sides were getting cold already. Requested flat iron steak to be cooked medium but it came well done so we had to wait for the steak to be remade. (Which took a very long time) We all like to eat together so everyone’s else food was cold by the time the steak arrived we decided to just take it to go. Wasn’t the best first time experience. Also pina coladas are not frozen here which is so weird since pina colada is always frozen. Not sure if I’ll go again. If I do it’ll be take out
My husband and I cant stress enough how much we LOVE Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and their catering team. When we chose them for our wedding, we were thrilled by how warm, collaborative, and flexible Lizette was as the catering manager. While navigating a pandemic wedding wasnt easy on either of our ends, she was incredibly helpful in making everything work for us. (The generous serving at our wedding tasting didnt hurt either.) On the big day, her team delivered in being organized, clean, and efficient. Not to mention the ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, cucumber salad, deviled eggs, wings, cocktail shrimp, and corn bread were ALL delicious. Our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding food theyve ever had. Thank you SO much to Lizette and the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Team!
The brisket was delicious, It was so good I still finished it after finding a piece of plastic halfway through. Service was great and the salted potatoes were too but I had to take off two stars because obviously plastic doesn’t belong in the food and it hurt when I bit it.
The food was excellent and well priced. We were able to get parking relatively easily nearby. The meats were delicious and not too fatty. I thought the rub on the ribs was too salty. It was pretty cold today and unfortunately they didn’t turn on the heat so we all ate in our coats. The waitstaff was attentive and nice. Overall a very good experience and better BBQ then I’m used to at home in Staten Island. Nowhere local holds a candle to Dinosaur since Corner House BBQ closed. Overall worth the hike.
This place has been on my bucket list for so long and I finally went there. It was very packed and busy, they also have indoor and outdoor dining and you need a reservation.I tried the wings and I must say it was falling off the bone, probably the best wings I’ve had.I gave it a 4 star because they hardly attended to me, maybe because I was alone. Everyone kept passing by my table to help others when I was calling for their assistance.Aside that, the food was great, and the drinks too.
2 stars for the great customer service. ZERO STARS for the food. Too salty, tastes old and recycled. Burnt and dry. All of it. We were a large party for a birthday and the entire table said the same thing. Everything tasted like it was made with TOO MUCH Parmesan cheese. Cheese tastes like vomit to me, most ppl think im weird. Today my ppls all agreed with me, the fried green tomatoes tasted like crunchy vomit. Ugh I wanted it to taste good SO bad. We haven’t had bbq in like 5 yrs so needless to say my partner and i were excited to visit and very disappointed. Welcoming and wonderful server staff. Unfortunately the food was awful. We will not be visiting again.
Superb. Even our Texas crowd thought the BBQ was delicious. We did takeout of 2 family platters from the Harlem branch for a birthday party... Fed 15 the first night and 2 of us have had 3 additional meals from leftovers! Great value, real crowd pleaser. A few veggie options .. (Dining in is also great, with or without kids, as we have done that several times in the past.)
One of my worst memories of ny, my son is in the Marines and we were planning to have a nice meal and a wonderful day, we were 10 people and we were seating at the table and order drinks, about 5 minutes later a female manager told the group, that we didnt have a reservation and we couldnt be served. She was extremely unprofessional, make everyone feel uncomfortable, they were 3 kids with us, and they were hungry, kids dont understand, all they understand is that they are hungry and tired. Its disappointing that Managers like her, have no training in how to approach the customers, she was extremely rude, I was embarrassed in front of my son, He came with the fleet to Ny and he is going back with a bad taste and disappointment of Ny Hospitality.
Been eating here for years. Food is always delicious. If the dining area is full I usually grab a seat by the bar. I often order the ribs, wings and Mac & cheese The meat of their ribs comes right off the bones. The Mac & cheese has a nice spicy taste to it. That seasoning on the wings is like no other. Everyone working there provides great service.
Our Waitress was SOOOOOOO informative and helpful to these Floridians. The management team is just as friendly and walk around to make sure you are satisfied (with everything).BRISKET PLATE with sweet potatoes and collards, cornbread makes you wanna find the cook(the jalapeño spin they put on stuff is different and good).Full rack ribs with slaw and collardsWell done burgers and fries.WE ALL TOOK TO-GO boxes home!P.S. It is located on the same side of the road as the Cotton Club and is 1 block away.
The speed of the service is what impressed me at this restaurant. The pork ribs were a little dry bit still good, the macaroni & cheese was tasty, and the simmered greens was flavorful. The selection of beers on tap was also good. However it was the speed of the service that was amazing as it took less than 15 minutes for my order to be served.
AWESOME Trip to Harlem for the best wings in town. Flavor not all in the sauce, perfectly smoked. Good Veggie smoked greens. Good Cajun potato salad. Refreshing Black Eye Pea Relish. The negatives cornbread is small serving size for the plate. Catfish is really Branzino. Drinks are huge and delightful. A must for lunch and dinner.
Food was decent, but average at best. service was non-existent. out water was never ever refilled during a full dinner, my friend is still waiting for her lemon for the water... and we got the platters meat+sides all mixed up, including sauces and stuff, and not even a spoon to transfer them to the correct plate. to top it all off, a mariachi band was hired by the table nearby and played super loud music for over an hour, completely ruining our dinner experience, we had to yell all night to be able to have a conversation! the manager kinda gave us a discount for that, but still.... not a fun night.
Sorry I had a Terrible experience here at the 125 location. I ordered the restaurant week combos and they all were disgusting. it had no seasoning, the food was old, it was totally Disgusting. I really thought someone was playing a joke on me. I never had that problem before going to this restaurant, but on this particular day, I’m sorry they failed my expectations.
Freaking fantastic. Been going here for almost 15 years and it hasnt changed. Best BBQ in NYC - prove me wrong. Get the pulled pork or brisket sandwich. Fried green tomatoes. Beans and sweet potato mash as sides. Alcohol choices are good. Parking isnt bad at all in the area, at least when we went (Sunday evening before memorial day). Service was excellent - super friendly and quick. Mask usage is just so-so and its a very popular place so dont go there if youre nervous about covid. When I tell you this food is like heaven on a plate, I mean it. Not to be missed.
Edit: They refunded my whole order. Pleasantly surprised, so bumping up to 4 stars from 1.Original review: Extremely disappointing. Food was bone dry, relatively flavorless. Ordered takeout, food was ready 10 minutes after promised, they forgot one of my items ($7 extra) and it was somehow still cold. $35 for some of the worst barbecue Ive eaten and I wasnt even full afterwards.
This place is amazing, we went 2 weeks ago cor my birthday, the host took our cake and save ir for later; also the food..... no words to describe of how delicious it was. The staff is super friendly and proffesional, our food came in a good time considering the placw was full and pack. I will definetely go back. Thanks to everyone there, i had a great tome with my family.
Insanely bad food - I ordered sandwiches and they sent a half cooked burger - AVOID at all costs!! Ordered fries and it came as uncooked potatoes. The potatoes weren’t cooked at all. This is dangerous. We spent close to $50 on the takeout and it was half cooked!!I threw up all day - I’m reporting this spot to the Health Department.
This is my go to spooooot for some good BBQ food so I had HIGH expectations when it came to them catering for my 4th of July event, baybeee did they come through everything I ordered was fresh, delicious and very well worth the $200 spent. S/O to Ms.Lizette an absolute sweetheart!!! ❤️ Sb gallon of Mac & cheese on poooooint
The wait wasnt bad at all. They were very considerate by moving us to another table away from the vents! I guess dinosaurs didnt like seasoning either! Lol it was the worst! The best thing about that Sunday evening was hanging out with my beautiful bride and the baked beans(brisket wasnt bad) chicken wasnt cooked the ribs were tuff and salty! The waitress was very nice(Aileen) but even her great disposition couldnt help the food! I guess you need to be a lil tipsy so you wont care about the lack of taste in the food!#WONT GO BACK!
If bbq is what you see, dinosaur never fails to deliver. We started out with the fried tomatoes, shrimp, and honey bbq wings....which afterwards we (3 of us) probably shouldnt have. I say that because we did not make it thru the main course.... leftovers YAY!!!! I had the pulled pork, sausage and 1/2 chicken (3 meat option) and collard greens and the bbq fried rice. No complaints hereThe service was acceptional.... considering we arrived at 3:45pm on a Friday (happy hour 4-7....YAY AGAIN!) Will definitely return.
The combo platter is an excellent choice. Mac and cheese is amazing, pulled pork and brisket also. The potatoes are delicious as well. My ribs werent good at all but it seems it was bad luck cause everyone loves them.Be prepared to wait for a table, or just go the bar and grab a standing one that is first come first serve.
Just WOW! What a great place. I biked up here on a Citibike and docked just across the street intending to get a new ride pay cycle going and just keep riding. But Dinosaur BBQ caught my eye. I stepped inside and was warmly greeted with a beautiful smile by Londyn, one of the wonderful servers here. This is clearly a big family operation. All the staff are so nice. I was thinking that they should make a TV show about this place. Great space. I decided to stay. And the FOOD…! Oh, baby. So good. Londyn recommended a plate where I got to try three different BBQ offerings. Soooo good! Plus cornbread, crisp coleslaw, and really fresh French fries. Everything on the menu looks great. Need to get back for some fried green tomatoes! Thanks, Dinosaur Family!
May 29,2022...5:30..To busy for me and family to eat in...we decided to take out..which was just as good..The take out cashier lady with multicolor hair style was so very nice and patient..Food came in a timely fashion..couple items missing from order when I checked my bag before leaving...BUT understandable being so very busy...young lady apologize and gave me missing food right away...WONDERFUL SERVICE...
Delicious!!!! This BBQ joint has been the best eating weve had during our visit. The BBQ sauces are really good. Ribs were super tender and full of flavor. The smoked wings were really good too. Everything was awesome. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommended!
The day I went, the wait was only 10 minutes for a table of 4 adults and 3 children. My servers name is Mel. I highly suggest you seek him out. He is very outgoing and always thinks 5 steps ahead on what the customers want. He really tries to make the customers happy. Food is always awesome and portion size is great for what you pay. Love Dinosaur BBQ
It was great to try this spot after seeing it plenty of times driving by. Near the Hudson River and 125th Street, it is apart of the renaissance of West Harlem near Columbia University! The food was great and plentiful & we could not finish our food (we took it home). If you love BBQ, take the chance and go to Dinosaur BBQ!
Amazing BBQ!We had an amazing Wings and Ribs dishes!Great sides and cocktails as well.Value for money is amazing and you get huge portions (they will pack it up for you...).Great service with a very nice atmosphere. If you are coming from mid-town Manhattan, taxi ride will be around $20.
It’s been along time waiting to come to dinosaur barbecue, finally made it here but I must say I was disappointed. The food was not up to its hype, I’ve made better Ribs myself and the customer service was bad. I did not get water till I asked for it and practically had to beg for a second round of drinks, the only reason I gave it two stars was because the drinks were made correct to taste, and only the bartender gets the credit for that. Maybe I caught them on a bad day I’ll try again some other time. If you do go get drinks, corn bread and the sweet potato mash which was good.
My meal was incredible! I had ribs and pulled pork which were delicious and smokey with slightly charred tips and bits. I loved the chicken wings served with blue cheese dressing to dip. The fried green tomatoes were ridiculously good and of course the sides dishes were off the hook! They have a good beer selection and the bar area was perfect for Sunday football. Cheers!
One of the best BBQ restaurant in New York. We dropped by for lunch & were quickly seated. The restaurant was almost full on a Sat afternoon. We ordered two sets of full rack ribs with 8 sides. The ribs were delicious although some parts were burnt & turned a little hard/tough. The fried rice was super yummylicious - my two kids just finished up the side completely. Seriously, I dont mind just having the rice for lunch! We sampled the beef brisket & it was super delicious as well. Two thumbs up for the restaurant! Will definitely bookmark it as a choice restaurant when in New York/Columbia University area.
The food here is amazing!!! My employer had a staff luncheon here and I came back the same week to take my mom for her birthday. It was great the first time and just as good the second. The service here was also great. Our waiter, which I wish I remembered his name, was very friendly to us and checked in very often to ask us if we were okay and to swap out used utensils when needed. The wait for us was not long either and when our chair and tables were wet, a staff member addressed it immediately. The drinks are good. My drink, a punch (forgot the name), was super strong. I wish I would had requested a side of juice just to balance the alcohol. The food.... whoa baby! The macaroni and cheese, collard green, salted potatoes, candied yams, Korean ribs, brisket, ribs, chicken, cornbread... ALL OF IT WAS AMAZING. For the first 10 minutes my mom, friend and I were just were just grunting with contentment of how good the food is. My mom and friend never been and they look forward to going back soon. PS- if you go on a date or relaxing outing, across the street is a pier where you can sit on a bench and chill out (when is at you discretion). This restaurant also plays good music and art atmosphere ambience fits the theme of the restaurant. Last but not least- the bill... for 3 entrees including one extra side, 2 appetizers (salmon cakes that could be bigger and the deviled eggs, both were amazing), 1 alcoholic beverage, 1 virgin pina colada, and a lemonade, the total was $97. That is good considering all that we had. I look forward to going back and hope for the same experience.
The people and atmosphere were nice. We went on St Patricks day, so kind of packed, but still wasnt a bad wait. Not too costly and quick service, once seated and order placed. The food is okay, but nothing to write home about. The mac and cheese, needs not to be seasoned liked that. Besides that the place is okay and I will go back.
Delicious sides, and fun and comfortable dining area. The hostess is sweet, and the waiting staff is present, but not overbearing. Very nice flavor, my only gripe was the meat being cold. Looking forward to visiting again, and having another serving of good hospitality, and delicious potatoes.
The food is amazing . Our servant was very friendly and gave us the right orders. The ribs are the best it is so tender that it taste . So smokey too. It was falling off right out of the bone which is amazing. The sides were amazing the mac and cheese it has some spice in it with a kick. The cornbread was also very good it had a nice nutty flavor a little but and was so good. Everthing was so good and the meat was amazing . Thank you for re opening it has been a while .6/5
Solid BBQ place! Thank goodness. I needed something to make up for the terribleness of Mighty Quinn. My mom and I shared a shared a three meat plate with Ribs, wings, brisket, cornbread, carrot salad/slaw and fries. My mom particularly loved the carrot slaw. The carrot was shredded, in a mayo sauce and had yellow raisins.I was impressed with their house-made bleu cheese sauce that was served with their wings. Our server was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!
I see everyone loves their food. I personally didnt like it. I love mac and cheese but I didnt like how their mac and cheese tastes. We order 3 different plates and we didnt like it at all. The rack bbq ribs, you could barely taste the barbecue and the meat was cold and hard. It might of been because the place was full. I never had corn creamed so I asked the waitress what was it and she kindly explained, I love corn but I didnt like the flavor, thats just me not liking it not that it was not good but almost everything in our food was little spicy. You will find so many different barbecue flavors on one plate that might confuse your tastebuds, and I personally didnt like any. People seem to enjoy the food , the place was full so that might say something. maybe it is just me personally so go and decide by yourself. I liked the decoration , they have a live band a bar and the place is spacious. The atmosphere was good the place is perfect for groups. The waitress was really nice and attentive. Again this was my own personal experience. Go and try it maybe you will love it. They have good prices.
The food is excellent. Staff is friendly. Had a great evening. Brisket sliders ($5 ea for happy hour) were delicious. I also had the Jerk glazed wings which were also great. Ron, the bar tender, made me feel right at home was a big help with menu questions and recommendations.I will definitely be back.
This is easily one of my favorite places in New York for Barbecued meats. I have been here almost half a dozen times and it raises the bar everytime.I have finished their family Stylin Barbecue meal designed for 4 people twice alone😁. Their brisket melts in your mouth and ribs are out of the world. You just cant stop coming here!
Mac and cheese tasted like cardboard, Syracuse potatoes were salty to the point where they couldnt be eaten, the heat could have been turned a little higher in the place, coleslaw was meh, the cocktails were good, and so was the cornbread, the hostess tried to seat us next to a couple when the restaurant was barely anybody in it, why? Why do they all do this? Laziness? The ribs were just warm. Waitress was very attentive. Dont think Ill be coming back.
What a nice lunch experience. This place is located on 12th in 125th street New York. It’s so easy to get too😜. Place is fun. Service was friendly and quick. Food was fresh and delicious. Got the Cuban sandwich, Mac & cheese plus coleslaw. All had a bbq twist were definitely tasty and different. Nice food experience. Will go back for sure.If u like my review / found helpful.... please click like / helpful. Thanks.
Wow, this place was BUSY at 5pm on a Saturday! Wait was 45 minutes to an hour but we scored a high-top table within minutes. They were jammed so service was a bit slow but our waiter hustled as best he could. My burger was excellent, cooked perfectly, toppings were fresh and the bun wasn’t overwhelming. Fries (not supposed to eat them) were literally right out of the fryer. Great ambiance and sports bar feel, good for families with kids. Parking...not sure. We walked there. Overall a great time and I’d love to return!
Very good BBQ and good service. Must show proof of vaccination to sit inside so have it ready with an ID if you want to sit inside. Outdoor seating available with heaters but no way Id be sitting out there in December. Def worth the trip overall. Has the brisket playter w/ spicy sweet potato and fried rice. All 3 are excellent. Highly recommend the spicy BBQ sauce thats put on every table in advance.
It was okay. Fairly priced, can run you between 40-80 bucks depending on what you eat/drink. Food wise my food was just warm. Not saying I want to burn my tongue off but warm bbq is kinda off putting. The best thing in my plate was the mac and cheese. I dont eat everybodys mac but this was pretty tasty. Id come back again maybe for lunch.
Aside Of the 30 min wait on a sunday , The corn bread was unforgettably delicious . The potato salad was slightly pureed and had a Unique taste. I rated it a 7 out Of 10. BBQ chicken 8 out Of 10 . I prefer My meat cooked and smoked longer then their standard . I was pleased about the Mac n cheese . Last but least i ordered a spiked Donkey Punch Made With 151 rum followed by 3 more for the ultimate TKO. .... FRIENDLY STAFF AND PROMPT SERVICE.
Let me first say amazing. This place is worth your money. It’s a nice place and you can dine in or outside. The food amazing. I order the meal for two which it was a rack of ribs and four side. The best side is the Mac and cheese man that life right there and the sweet potatoes. The drinks is on point to. I give them a four cause when we got there the hostess had an attitude while seating us. Over all this place is amazing
Omg when i tell u im not from here but they got be thinking im back home in the south man... u put your foot in these meals me and my family really enjoyed our selfs and the the waiter was amazing lady thank u ilean u were u amazing sweet heart ...will come back here to nyc for yall food tho .
This place is wonderful! The service is great - Larry was awesome, super nice & attentive, the hosts were friendly & made you feel at home. The food is fantastic ! I had the Mr. Crisp chicken sandwich with BBQ fried rice & fries. The chicken was juicy & flavorful, it was perfect with the slaw & pickles. The BBQ fried rice was amazingggg (crowd favorite with the people I went with). We also tried the three plate combo - beef brisket, ribs, & hot link sausage with Mac & cheese, salt potatoes, & cornbread. Meats were sooooo good, great flavor & texture, ribs fell off the bone. Potatoes were soft & flavorful (think buttery Cajun). Cornbread was on the sweeter side but moist. Mac & cheese tasted like queso ... like think of a salsa queso & mix that with Mac noodles. I wasn’t expecting it to be that way but decent. Definitely will be back.
It was my wifes birthday we had a wonderful time our host Miss Soto was fabulous she is to be commended on a customer service skills and her ability to keep a customer happy thank you so much I will definitely be back again and I hope to see Miss Soto again it was my wifes birthday and it was memorable thank you
If you love barbecue and beer, you would be hard-pressed to find a better option than Dinosaur BBQ. The food is excellent and the beer selection was substantial. Allagash, Southern Tier, Troegs, Brooklyn Brewery, Dogfish Head - the list goes on. Plus they have an in-house brew, Dinosaur Ape Hanger. Also - and this warms my heart - they have some great sub-premium canned beers: Schlitz, PBR, and Genesee Cream Ale. Genny! They also offer a flight of beers; that is, four 4oz glasses, which allows you to sample their beers. Overall Dinosaur Barbecue is a great haunt. I can’t wait to return.
Two star 🌟 for the service...the place is to ghetto...the drinks are horrible 😫 the bbq ribs and the ny st stake.. were yummy...and the wip yam ..The food plates 🍽 were super dirty when the food arrived to the table...I noticed that only the cook in the back was wearing a hair nest....You better off going to 🍎 🐝 ....I tip the waitress her service was good but that about it....
I dont know what people see in this place...…but we are never going back even for take out!!!We recently had a small family group go sit outside(this past summer) food was HORRIBLE and the bill was OUTRAGOUS.Looking back now I now why they dont let your group pay separate bills.
The wait time for a table on a Wednesday evening was 5 mins. The booths that we initially sat on had a defective side which sunk down. The server was stretched over too many tables. The food was nice as shown in the picture. Texture and flavor was on point. I would say quantity is decent. Our bill was mixed with another table sitting opposite, so maybe a quick browser would be a good action.I love the atmosphere and music.
We went there on Saturday for a belated Mothers Day celebration. There was confusion about if they were out of ribs or not. Our server told us they were out of ribs, half chicken, and pulled pork. There would be a 45 minute wait for more. How does a BBQ place run out of ribs at 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday?I thought my mother-in-law was going to hurt someone. 😲 She was NOT happy. When the manager came over, suddenly the ribs were almost done...The wings we got as an appetizer were excellent! I picked the honey BBQ sauce and it was good, but I wish they had buffalo as an option.Eventually we got our ribs and they were very good. I got a two meat combo. The spice and smoke on the brisket was decent, but it was kind of fatty. The BBQ beans tasted ok, but the sauce was kinda runny and it was hard to eat them with a fork. I wont get those again. The whipped sweet potatoes were good. The cornbread is excellent. Our server was friendly and helpful. She was good at answering questions about the menu, but she was being run all over the place.Would I go here again? Yes. Ill give them another chance because the ribs were really good, the server was friendly even though she looked overworked, and my mother-in-law really likes this place.
Friendly staff from walking in to walking out. Waiter was very attentive and was always checking on our group. Seating was tight along the wall to the left hand side..... The table leg made it difficult to sit on the left side of the table against the wall with three people sitting on one side. Service was quick and food was good. Had brisket and pulled pork with Cole slaw and whipped sweet potatoes. Everything was good and I enjoyed it. The rest of friends did enjoy their meals but we all agreed John brown in Long island City is better.
Finally got to visit this place for the first time. Friends have raved about it for a while and now I understand why. Food and ambiance was terrific. But even better are the awesome people they have working there. From the friendly person who greets you at the front, to the great waitress with the awesome sense of humor who made our experience even better. Looking forward to going back again soon. This place does it right.
It was crowded but we were sat actually quickly. Table wasnt really spacious enough for the party and other groups adjacent to us. Server seemed overwhelmed and wasnt too attentive to our table. Some food items was cold or hard. Was brought to the managers (2) attention but only one item was able to be corrected. Dont think I will visit again on a weekend or with a group over four people. Took my entire plate home to heat it properly.
My family ate so much on their first visit they walked home to 73rd Street! Not long after guests at a birthday party were treated to this delicious food! Best brisket I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend the mac ‘n cheese. The greens and cornbread were a touch of southern comfort!
Ive been here a few times and have also had a delivery. I always enjoy the food! My latest trip was for my brothers Birthday. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The drinks were good and my brother enjoyed himself even when they sang Happy Birthday! I luv their roasted whipped sweet potatoes and the BBQ fried rice. Will def be back for outdoor dining
This is the greatest restaurant in harlem, frieda is excellent! Customer orientated, professional, soooo helpful! The owner, his partner as well! The girl who works in the takeout section is awesome! I came today, all these people make this place AMAZING!!!!!! I COME REGULARLY IT IS EXCELLENT! A MUST PLACE TO VISIT FREQUENTLY.
A large venue inside with outdoor seating. When we went there it look packed, but we were doing a pickup. Lovely place. As for the food, hot wings are great, brisket on a bun great and the cornbread is great.. You and to arrive early to get good seating and the service was great. Another visit is due.
I used to come here all the time. The food and drinks were great but as the years wear on, the quality of the food has gone down and the wait to pick up food is unacceptable especially after theyve established a window and exceeded that time. The wings are extremely salty now (Im not sure if the recipe has changed) and for an order of 13 wings, a small container of dip is given. I doubt Ill visit again but they do have great live music!

2022-02-24Ive had their sauces in the bottle and was always a big fan. Didnt even know they had a restaurant in the city until recently and Im glad I went. Super filling for the price. The wings were delicious. Everything was, really! Not exactly the healthiest or most nutritious meal - maybe hold off on the sodium to compensate for this - but dang tasty. Very good service as well.

2022-07-07Unexpectedly good BBQ in NYC. The ribs were falling off the bone. The brisket was moist and tasty. The hot link was spicy but not overly so. The mac & cheese was a hit with the kids. The drinks were tasty as well. The only fault would be they over sat our waitress. She had a table of 6 plus two tables of 3. After taking our order she was given a table of 8 a table of 10 and 2 tables of 4. That’s just too much for one waitress to manage efficiently. She did her best but no one got quick efficient service.

2022-06-05Dinosaur BBQ is a cute spot to stop in for some good BBQ food.Family-oriented restaurant and good for date nights as well.Hostess and wait staff are very friendly and nice.Drinks were spot on, the appetizers were yummy and the entrees were really good. I had to take a doggy bag because I couldnt finish it all in one sitting. All in all, Ill be a returning costumer.

2022-06-22The food & drinks was amazing, we had an hour and half wait time (if was Fathers day, so it was expected) once we got called they sat us right away. We had a table by the window. I would recommend the devil egss and the honey bbq wings for the starters. They ribs was so good, nice and smoked with that char on the outside. The inside was so tender and juicy, it fell right off the bone.

However she compensated with alternatives things. This place is a NO for me in the future!!!!Go to Harlem Bar-B-Q. Better food and drinks!

2022-05-17I’m beyond grateful Dinosaur BBQ has vegetarian options! This way vegetarians like myself can still enjoy the “BBQ” experience together with carnivore friends/family!I came here on a Friday evening as a party of 3 (with my 2 carnivore friends). I used the Resy reservation and everything went smoothly. We had a super sweet waitress by the name of Christina.I shared the 5 piece Fried Green Tomatoes ($11) with one of my friends. We both very much enjoyed it!I had the BBQ Mushroom Reuben with mashed sweet potatoes and spicy cucumber salad ($17.50). I very much enjoyed the BBQ Mushroom Reuben. I had to take a double look to make sure it really was mushroom and not real meat, that’s how good they smoked the mushroom! For drinks I had the Agry Orchard Apple Crisp and a glass of Sangria.I would give 4.5 stars if I could. My only reason for not giving 5 stars, is because I was a bit disappointed with the presentation of my main course. The (plastic) plate it was on and the overall look of it just wasn’t very appealing to be honest.

2022-04-22I ordered catering for a work lunch… Y’all i can not even tell you how good this food was. St. louis ribs, BBQ chicken, cornbread, mac n cheese, roasted whipped sweet potato’s and fresh squeezed lemonade were my personal favorites. The family style combo was such a good value too.Catering was made super easy by the wonderfully helpful and kind catering coordinator, Jadira.10/10 love this spot and will be ordering again!

2022-05-22Been to this restaurant before but the Buffalo NY one. I like this NYC location just as much as the one i went to in Buffalo NY. Consistency is there, waiters are friendly. I enjoyed the food, enjoyed beef brisket cheese steak. Tasted pretty close to a cheese steak and I enjoyed every bit of it. I liked the side potato salad. The Mac and cheese and fried rice was a NO for me. Just didnt like those 2 side flavors. Chicken and beef brisket plus. Cant rate the pork rib as I dont eat pork, but it looked cooked well. Its interesting in NYC this place has a B rating.
