Theres no way you cant like a night out here at this New York drag cabaret dinner theater. Came here with a large group for a birthday party and the staff did a great job with service. These queens are sassy, funny, do great impersonations and are very talented. Youll have a great laugh. We had a great time.
At first it looks quite simple. The room is really small considering there are so many different kind of tickets to choose from. We had preordered 3-course dinner and to be honest it was really bad. Cant recommend anyone to buy that. The show however was very very fun and we enjoyed it very much and had a really good time!Go enjoy the Divas (5 stars) but eat (1 star) somewhere else!
If you are looking for a GREAT time, this is it. My daughter and I had one of the best times of our lives. We enjoyed every minute of the show. The diva is one of a kind and brings so much to the show. The costumes are spectacular. I visit NY three to four times a year and this was truly one of the BEST shows that I have ever experienced. Should you go? A most definitely YES :) DIVAS are DIVAS

Made dinner reservations here a week prior for the Besties birthday. We were late as usual, but the host kindly welcomed us with open arms anyhow. That put us at so much ease and was very much appreciated. The service is extraordinary! The Bestie already wore a tiara, but they gave her another crown to wear because it was her birthday. We requested mimosas and they said normally they only do mimosas for brunch, but because It was for the birthday girl, they accommodated. I ordered the salmon as my entree and it had a sauce on it that went with the fish so well. The drag queens are the servers/bartenders as well. They work really hard to give a good show and serve you at the same time. The host of the show had a wonderful sense of humor and really interacted with the crowd. Its perfect for a celebration because they give extra special treatment to the honorees. We were totally entertained from beginning to end. Very fun alternative to having a regular ol dinner. Other than tipping for your dinner, you can also tip the drag queens while performing. They deserve it so bring your singles!
By far the most amazing drag queen show in New York City, I want you for my birthday last weekend with my mom in a bunch of friends and we all had the most amazing time. If youre looking for great drag New York City this is it. The drag queen host was hysterical and the performances were phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back to this drag queen show in New York City to celebrate some more.
We made plans for the Broadway Brunch for our friends bachelorette party, based on recommendations from another friend. Ive been to drag shows at clubs and once for a dinner show, so I had an idea of what to expect. What I wasnt expecting was for the food to be good; I figured we pay for the show moreso than the quality of food. It was a pleasant surprise. I had the salmon eggs benedict (called the Sister Act on the menu), and our entire group opted for bottomless mimosas for only $6 extra. The mimosas are delicious and someone came by impressively fast to make sure the pitcher stayed full. For $10 you can order a shot that comes in a novelty shotglass shaped like lips. Theyre for taking home !The decoration is really fun without being trashy. Chandeliers hang from the walls, and lots of the decoration makes it feel Alice in Wonderland themed. The show is tons of fun and the girls are so talented and pretty. For $15, we paid to have our bride to be go on stage, take a shot, and get a picture with Ginger Snap in an Annie costume. She was given a tiara to wear the entire time, and got to take that home in addition to the light up shot glass her drink came in, and a printed photo with a nice frame.
I cant get enough of this show - I must have seen it 10 times already.Definitely hilarious and worth it. I like the layout of the show and all the performances - I mean, these men look EXACTLY like the person they are performing as!They have a really good variety of impersonations (Bette Midler, Lady Gaga, Cher, Britney Spears, Liza Mennelli, and Joan Rivers in-between). They also have a final performance at the very end of the show with What Makes A Man, A Man and it is just wonderful. One of the best things about this show is that they take something each performer is well-known for and do a comedic caricature. Tip: Best enjoyed with alcohol!
I purchased general admission seats with the 3 course dinner for a Saturday night for my sisters bachelorette party in NYC. Save yourself money & DONT purchase the VIP tickets OR the dinner. All this place cares about is money & not about their customers. At 12:30 the afternoon of the show I received a phone call from Diva Royale to inform me that our group was the only one that purchased dinner that night & that they werent going to make dinner for only 9 people so they were canceling the dinner. He told me he could either 1) refund us each the $30 dinner fee or 2) he would upgrade us to VIP &waive the 2 drink minimum which he said was $22 that you pay when you arrive and that wed still have to pay if we took option 1. He kept trying to push me to take the second option, saying wed have to wait on a long line outside since we only had GA tickets & saying that wed be sitting aaaaaall the way in the back. I told him I needed to talk to the bride to see what she wanted to do.Its hilarious that they have a no refund policy, but they think its okay to call their customers the day of & cancel the dinner reservations that they made. Also, their website says theres a 2 drink minimum, but nowhere does it say that you have to pay $22 up front for the two drinks. They have a menu on their website and getting 2 sodas or beers does not equal $22. My group was very taken aback that dinner was cancelled. We had a full day booked for the bachelorette party with reservations at different places & now we had to make new dinner plans & still be at the show on time. Trying to make last minute dinner plans in the Times Square area is not easy & now we were going to be rushing around to try to fit it in. We were all very aggravated. The bride called the guy back to talk to him about our options. First off, he didnt hide the fact that he was annoyed he had to explain the situation to another person even though she told him he didnt have to. Second, when youre inconveniencing your customers, you shouldnt get an attitude with them or get nasty. He kept arguing with her that the website mentions the $22 fee as well as the tickets, meanwhile we had our tickets right in front of us & its not mentioned anywhere. The best he did was say hed upgrade us to first row, but we didnt want an upgrade in seats while losing the $30 each that we paid for dinner. After my sister realized he didnt care & wasnt really willing to do too much to make things right, she just excepted the second option of the upgrade and waiving the ridiculous $22 fee for the drinks. When we got to the venue, we really felt ripped off. We arrived a few minutes before doors were set to open & the long line this guy claimed there would be to get in was nonexistent. No one was on line except a group of girls who were there for the Hunk-O-Mania show that was taking place after Diva Royale. We go in and find out theres a mandatory coat check—$5 per coat. Is this place serious?? Then we go get our two drinks to find out Premium liquors arent included. Its only their house liquors and a small selection of beer and wine.We sit down for the show and there are literally only 2 or 3 other parties there. The room was practically empty. This guys claims the we would be all the way in the back with our general admission tickets were crap being that he knew barely anyone even bought tickets for the show that night. He just didnt want to refund us any money. Then the bouncers started letting in all the girls who there for Hunk-O-Mania so that the room would be full.I feel this guy simply shouldve called us and said Im sorry we have to cancel your dinner reservation tonight. Well refund all of you the $30 fee and well also upgrade you to VIP seats …and maybe throw in waiving the 2 drink minimum fee as well if he really wanted to make us happy. But the choices he gave us were crap and he doesnt know how to treat customers, especially when hes inconveniencing them at the last minute.
Such an awesome spot!!Coming from the DC LGBTQ+ scene this is definitely everything that I imagined it would be. Such a high energy and an amazing atmosphere!! Making this our first stop for my friends bachelorette party is shaping up to be an amazing weekend. Definitely recommend this drag show!! So much comedy and entertainment. One of the most memorable nights I will not forget. Thank you guys!!!
Lets make this clear from the jump: If your not a fan of Drag Queens or that lifestyle, go away, dig a hole and dont come back out until youve learned to accept people for who they truly are. Now that the social commentary is out of the way... TO THE REVIEW!!!this place is simply FABULOUS! lol... as a Straight woman, i found this place entertaining, funny and great. came here on a Saturday night and i was laughing my ass off well until the very end. The host Adele was hilarious and was very quick with her jokes. Our waitress, name i forgot, was also funny and nice. we drank so much that the alcohol started to lose its taste in the OJ, so when we asked for another bottle of champagne she laughed, called us alcoholics and popped us another bottle. for the next 6 pitchers they were all accompanied by a secondary bottle. you BEST believe that lady got a huge tip (no pun intended)ladies, gentleman... you dont come here to socialize. you come here to eat sub-par food, drink endless amounts of cheap champagne and OJ and watch Drag queens be hilarious on stage. i cant wait to go back.
My friends and I went to this show not knowing what to expect, but really had an awesome time. Im usually not big on celebrity impersonators (or celebrities for that matter), but this show was a lot of fun. The drags wit and jokes were always right on and well-timed, and he has some great costumes.
Was very disappointed!! Where to start? Went for a Bachelotte Party, show time was switched to an hour later, n even then it started late. Only 2 Queens performed. Paid $50.00 for bride to get on stage, only there was no stage. It was in very small room not enough chairs or tables. Pictures on their sight are very misleading!! N because the show started late n we rented a limo, we had to pay the limo for extra hour. Not at all what we thought it would be.This was the Boston Venue.
I have to say the actual show was very good and entertaining. The service and staff on the other hand , was TERRIBLE!!!!The food was way to salty, their fried green beans were very greasy and tasted like old grease. Now the staff in peticular the waiter and bartender. The slim tanned skin waiter was very rude not mention unprofessional. The bartender chubby white guy, was approched to ask if everything was ok with the waiter and his responses was to outwardly bash his customers, again very rude and unprofessional.Sadly the Diva Royale will not be having anymore shows there, tonight was the last night. (I wonder Why???)I would not recommend this place with or with out a show. There is a reason there were only like 15-20 people in total in the place. The owners should hire some new staff, that would be happy to represent their establishment with pride and professionalism. Its the customer that is paying the bill at the end of the day, not the other way around.
HAVE BEEN A FEW TIMES AND GOING AGAIN IN MARCH!!!! The show is Funny, Whimsical, Naughty but NOT trashy, and just Wonderful! Performers do A Great job portraying their characters. Love this show, interact with the audience, Also, the cast and crew! Amazing and Fun show to remember.
I just love Drag Queen Show!! The show is vibrant, with tons of energy and if you cant find your fast-paced happy face fun here, youre dead inside. There arent many places ANYWHERE, much less NYC where you can stomp your feet happy, pull your heartstrings and change your perspective and leave just feeling like a better person inside. Drag Queen Show does that.
Let’s get to the point: NY location....Shady and dishonest business....Dinner and show are not GUARANTEED if not enough tickets sold ..not stipulated on their website.....hmmmmm...BEWARE!!!! And you won’t know this still the same day of the show or when you get to the venue...YEP.. NO JOKE !!!! So instead of dinner you get to sit in the VIP section and two free drinks...how generous? Below vodka....how low can you go...I had to demand top shelve liquor...no dinner, cheap vodka and a MANDATORY $5 coat check..this is the thanks you get for being inconvenienced. Thank God for the DIVAS who were awesome and friendly...they deserve so much better. This place should be reported to the BBB...please go to LIPS instead for guaranteed dinner and show...
I went this past Sunday with my partner and some friends for the drag brunch. OMG! Absolutely hilarious! One of my favorite parts was when they introduced Chandilier, but we couldnt see her because our table was around the corner. We were all trying to look around to see her and BAM this 14 foot beauty came prancing around the corner. Not at all what we were expecting - she, and all the ladies, were amazing. Never knew what was going to happen next. Brava to all!! I highly recommend this place.
I am the mother of a daughter who is trying to plan her older sisters bachelorette party. After a lot of planning, the girls decided to have the party at a specific drag bar. Without realizing, I booked Diva Royale and purchased 10 tickets. Not even 5 minutes after my purchase, I realized I made an error and that this was not the bar the girls had in mind. I immediately called and the owner answered. I explained what had happened and asked if he could reverse my transaction. He told me he could not reverse my transaction that they do not provide refunds. I contacted VISA to see if they could help me with this issue. They spoke to the owner and he refused to reverse the transaction.Buyer Beware!!!!!! ... None of the social media buttons work. They lead to no where.
My face hurts from laughing. I brought my mom here when she was visiting. We had SO MUCH FUN.The food is fine and the place is actually very clean. The bathrooms are lovely. I guess I was expecting a bit of a dive but was pleasantly surprised.Loved all of it. Will go again soon.
This place has the Worse service you can imagine. Do not come here. We bought the tickets online 1 hr before the show started and arrived to the place to find out they had canceled the show. There were 2 thug looking dudes at the front desk who did not offer any apologies or refund for our tickets or cab fare. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR PLANS, AND MAKE YOU WASTE TIME ON BAD SERVICE.Update...They wrote me an email, stating that the review I left on google was was unnecessary and that as a consequence it will Delay my refund process Their pettiness has no limits. Please stay away from them.

Went to show for my sisters 50th birthday - very disappointed!!! show was only an hour long - they only had 3 actors and 1 was a fill in who looked like hes never performed before.. They didnt do any of the impersonator that are shown on website. A big disappointment to say the least.

Be Careful with this place, they say one thing and they won’t deliver..we bought dinner show tickets, later to find out, the same day of the show, No Dinner was going to be serve, they gave us then VIP seats in front of this terrible looking stage, with two free low quality drinks and before we got seated, we had to do a mandatory coat check for $5 plus tips...NEVER AGAIN

2017-02-24LOVED this show! We bought our tickets like 10 mins before the show started and I was so happy they still had some left because i had heard good things about the show. The show was great--so funny and engaging. The acts were great--some were serious, some more making fun of celebrities in a cute way. Those guys are so talented! And the dancers were awesome and so adorable! Britney Spears was the best impersonation! I would highly recommend going, totally worth it!

2018-08-01This show was so much fun and customized for the higher-paying audience in front of us by using their cell phones so they got to choose singers that they wanted to see perform. The drinks were excellent. The hostesss costumes were fabulous and the singers were right on with their appearance and their acts. Diva Royale is the bomb! Free photos after the show and no big push to buy a lot of souvenirs

2015-07-27I am not really one for drag shows, but this place is an absolute blast! Why spend $200 on Britney Spears when you can pay a fraction of the cost to hear the same music and possibly see better dancing? :)I came here with a group of friends and sat in the front row for an hour of entertainment. The performers here are the best queens Ive seen and I have seen a lot of queens. Its a show, so you dont need to tip although there is a lot of great charity swag at the end. Check it out, you will love it!

2017-02-23I bring all my tourist friends here because its a BIG show, a million bucks in costumes, some great laughs, and many WOW moments when the performers put in so much energy and heart. My faves are Liza, Cher, Brittany, and the HOT costumes on those gorgeous dancers!! Ive seen this show six times and its always a blast. Love it!

2015-09-30Had an amazing night! Youre in NYC, at a drag SHOW, so it comes hand in hand with paying a little more than a normal dinner. There is a table cover and a $15 dinner minimum, which they tell you about when making your reservation to avoid any surprises because they are upfront with you. The bartender, Jackie Cocktail, was great and super chatty making you feeling comfortable. Dinner was good but you dont go to LIPS for the food, you go for the show. Chandelier, the host, was hysterical! I honestly havent laughed that hard in a long time! The other performers were amazing. I will definitely be returning!

2015-07-23Upon entering, the décor was very nice and clean and the ambiance is very comfortable. This adds to your experience. Your seated and they give you the menu. Food comes out fairly quick and is good. The show begins after everyone is almost done. Drag queens go up on stage one act at a time and they do their lip sync routine . They do a nice job , but Ginger spice, really does the show !! Gingers humor and comedy is outstanding and will make you laugh.Return? Yes ! I would definitely go back again and recommend this place for all.

2018-03-26I would love to give the divas themselves 5 stars, but the TERRIBLE and RUDE staff completely overshadowed the show. We purchased tickets with dinner weeks in advance, and were told THAT AFTERNOON that we were the only party getting dinner so they could no longer provide it. I was then told that we could be upgraded to VIP front row and have the 2 drink minimum fee waved, which was $22. When I questioned the $22 fee, which is NOWHERE on the website or ticket, I was quickly being dismissed and told honey, look at your ticket. Nice customer service. It only says 2 drink minimum, it DOES NOT say 2 drinks = $22. Especially when their drinks ONLY include house liquors and limited beer and wine. If you want premium liquor, its an additional $7.. of course, thats not on the website either. When we got to the show, we each had a pay a mandatory $5 coat check fee .. and the show ONLY consisted of my party and 2 others. They had to fill the rest of the room with people for the Hunk-o-Mania that was following. Maybe the service was better years ago, seeing as earlier reviews are positive. But the entire experience was very shady and pretty infuriating. Once youve bought your ticket, they take complete advantage of your money. Of course no refunds. Do yourself a favor and go to LIPS.

2018-07-28Came here for my best friend bachelorette party and we had an amazing time!!! Our waitress was HILARIOUS and the show was so entertaining. The drinks were delicious and the food was good too (i got the salmon and rice). We were a group of 10 (including the bachelorette). They gave her two free shots and brought her on stage for a little bachelorette section and it was really a great time and the show is 2 hours long.
