I am a regular customer of Dolci Momenti. The baked goods here are delicious so I gave them 3 stars for that. My problem happened today at 6:50. I see a tri colored cake and asked for it by name, Ill take that tri colored cake. Upon looking at a cake that has tri colored cookie on the top and the outside, one would assume this is a tri colored cookie cake. It even fooled the worker. The worker couldnt even tell this was a plain chocolate cake with a strawberry buttercream filling. I paid $25 for a cake I thought was tri colored cookie cake but its a chocolate cake. Who covers a chocolate cake with tri colored cookies? I bought it because it was supposed to be a different cake.

The First cake I loved. This was my Daughters shower. Fabulous!For the wedding rehearsal I asked for the same cake only one layer.Do they look different to you? Yellow not ivory and GREEN leaves...UGHHH. I was so upset! It looks like St Patricks day cake. I asked to speak to the manager. The young lady called Matt. She was told I could have half a pound of pastries. Since I paid in full and the cake was made that was the only concession. $70 for a ridiculous cake. I asked for Matt to call me and SURPRISE NO call. When I arrived to the venue they asked if I wanted to display the cake and I said PLEASE NOOOO. It was cut and served for dessert. The cake was dry and definitely not up to the standards of Dolce Momenti Bakery. I will not be returning and I suggest all of you find another bakery !

Long story short ordered two loads of rye, I get there they told me their slicer was broke I had to let them know when I ordered it if I wanted it sliced. why wouldnt they just tell me when I ordered it, look if you want it sliced you have to let us know cuz we have to go to our other bakery. instead of let me come all the way there to leave without the bread and the girl didnt even care couldnt care less very snotty and rude.

I come here for all my pastries and I love coming in for coffee. They are the best!! The ice is coffee, not even the overpriced cafes do that, so I am absolutely in love with the extrs details. From the delicious baked goods, down to the ice, this place cares about what they make and it shows. Always delicious, super friendly and cute little setup inside. My favorite neighborhood bakery hands down!

I ordered a semi naked cake from Dolci momenti bakery and I loved it. Had a small backyard wedding with family and we were all happy with the outcome of the cake . Inside is vanilla and buttercream.

So I always come here for my cheesecakes and love them but then I decided to order my daughters 12th birthday cake here and figured it would be better. Well I was wrong . The cake was beautiful upon looking at it but when my party host cut into it the cake broke apart . The icing on top cracked and the cake itself was crumbling and not even staying intact She couldn’t even get it on the plate without it completely falling apart . I was embarrassed and my party host said she has never experienced it before . When I tasted the cake it was extremely dry . There was more icing then cake . I returned the cake right after I left my daughters party. I’ve been waiting for Matt to call me back and he hasn’t . It’s now 2 days later and I called to get him on the phone and he is not there . Very poor customer service. If you have a crumbled cake sitting in your bakery call the customer back .paid $62 for this and it was returned no refund no call back . I will be notifying all who I recommended to come here and tell them to go elsewhere.

7/28/2021We have been loyal customers for years. All our family birthdays have been celebrated with these cakes and these cakes only from this bakery , this location. Well today we came in to get a cake for my moms 50th birthday and upon entering we were the only guests in the store . There were 2 women behind the counter , 1 on the phone and the other was frantically running Im not sure why as we were the only people in the store. So we waited 10 minutes to be served. She apologized we understood and proceeded to ask the flavors of the $20 cakes in the window. She rushed through the flavors and then she went on her phone when we asked her the rest of the flavors. We decided to get the chocolate raspberry with whip cream. Paid $22 and left. Then we cut the cake for my mom and she was really upset. The cake was so dry , the flavor was wrong . It crumbled upon her slicing the first piece. There was no whip cream it was all jelly and dry chocolate cake. The cake tasted like pillsbury cake mix. I’m so upset . My mom was upset . Our night was ruined actually and we are embarrassed of how upset my mom was. The icing was dry and cracked . It was buttercream. To which I was told it’s whip cream . It was disgusting. We will never return her for our family’s birthdays. You have had our service since you opened for every family event including custom cakes and now you lost a loyal customer. The dishonesty was unreal . The cakes never tasted this nasty before.

Upon arriving to pick up the cake I was asked to wait. No big deal...except when 5 mins turned into 10 and then 20 Min. I was told a few times they were trying to get the cake into a box, which I thought was weird that they are a busy bakery and were taking such a long time to get a cake into a box. After finally getting the cake and going to leave I saw an ANT on the cake. A dead ant. I immediately turned around and brought the cake back.. after explaining this to two of the workers they acted as if this wasnt any big deal and when I said I wasnt paying for the cake they said theyd have to speak to the owner....as if I didnt just pay $100 for a cake with a visable dead bugs on it! Im now late and cakeless to a party and they said theyd fix it and deliver it because I was now almost an hr late to my party. He was supposed to deliver the cake at noon and i have been repeatedly calling asking when the cake is going to be here and they told me it was on its way. On my third call , panicked because we are just 30mins away from when Im supposed to he serving the cake, the cake driver gets on the phone and tells me hes on his way....After being told for 20 mins that he had left already and was on his way. The cake finally arrived, lopsided but without any visible insects. Im beyond upset and none of the employees or managers seem to care. In fact I was told that they delivered the cake free of charge as if that was any compensation after the ordeal I was put through. Needless to say we will not he returning and its sad that small businesses like this dont even care to keep their customers.
