Just imagine i went to purchase Lysol spray and couldnt get any because the Rasta African American worker female purchased about 8 cans for herself with the white cashier co-worker ringing up her stuff today 4/17/20 at 10:30 am. These staff at this location, i realize buying out the important stuff that healthcare workers like me are looking for. All i wanted was 1 can of Lysol spray. Shame on those workers!
Dollar General makes little to no effort to keep the store tidy. Ive been to other dollar stores and theyve been organized. But Im not surprised, these stores in predominantly minority based neighborhoods are often neglected.
They hired new workers (cashiers) so the lines are not as long as they use to.... hopefully it stays like that. Sometimes its hard to find things... like if they rearrange stuff... more floor workers would be helpful to assist customers.
The lines during rush hour time is always long. We need more cashiers and you guys need to upgrade to self service. One or two, even three if possible self oporating system will be help.Thanks for taking my concerns into consideration. 👍
They r usually well stocked line can get long a busier times but overall an okay 1 stop shop. but not many things are $1
What a difference a year makes! When they first opened, the inside and outside appearance was extremely appealing and the customer service was A1. NOW....🤦🏿♀️🤷🏾♀️ The store is in total disarray, the cashiers with the exception of 2, are slow and unengaged. The managers are totally unbothered by the stores appearance and lack of customer service.WHERES THE ORIGINAL MANAGER JR?!?! He was amazing!!!
Every time I walk in this store they start playing a recording saying youre being monitored and will be prosecuted if caught stealing. Most people know they are being monitored so playing this recording is tacky. A few times the police were called to the location while I was in the store and left the same time I did; which makes me wonder if the police were being called on me. I figure unless you go after the safe or a register there is nothing worth steal out of a dollar store. Another reason for the one star is the check out ; there is usually one person checking out and either they struggle at their job or make it more complicated then what it is. I usually have to swipe my card 3 or 4 times while they keep mashing buttons and saying wait a minute how are you paying. with a confused look or a grin on their face. This happened every time Ive shopped there. I havent been a cahier in over 25 years but I know the computer dose all the work you can only mess things up. With all of that said the store is clean and well stocked and they have good sales but I will stop going there because of the warning signs I dont wanna get shot over a roll of toilet paper.
This place has really done a complete 360 from when it first opened. Shelves and the freezer section stay stocked now and the staff are actually pleasant and helpful.
Always a great place to pick up some necessities and they restock often. Admittedly they always have a line , but, if you dont find it that day , just return a couple days later .

The line always reach the back of the store they need more workers if you need help you have to hunt a worker down. And it doesn’t matter if it’s the weekend holiday etc they always have only one cashier
The food was great , my daughter loves the shrimp and fries. The wait was a little too long but i will definitely go back.
Long lines waiting on the cashiers are a sign of the efficacy of their sales, bargains and business volume! Id like to see another cash register placed in the store though...
Majority of the time they dont have the things that you want. Some of the shelves be empty, some times the lines is long and the wait time is long. But they are convenient at times.
Best prices, good stock, helpful stuff but, need more people at the registers.
Its affordable and customer service is good, you can get human hair lace frontals and closers, also, LA concealers, lashes, synthetic wigs, hair products, cosmetic jewelries etc
Dont always have what you want but hey its a dollar store whatd youd expect? Its great if youre in a budget.. I raid the frozen section religiously!

The funding and support from the ASPA has helped service animals of all kinds in this community. As a community we need to work on our communication skills. This Location has much better customer service than that on Flatbush Avenue.

They have alot of household items on the cheap. I went there to get laundry detergent. The lines to check out can get long especially if only one cashier is working. The lines do move slowly.

2022-06-23Nice selection of stuff but couldnt find any sort of light bulb or normal antihistamines. When I was looking at the few allergy tablets they had the plastic covering them set off an annoying alarm. Also never seen somewhere lock up washing detergent on shelves before.

2020-01-04Needs to be better organized, the lines can be too long depending on the time of the day. I feel that they should hire more people at least someone for stocking as there will often be supply carts standing in the way of aisles. Other than that, It has most of the basic things you will need on a daily basis. It just needs to work on organization and and more people working on register and stocking.

2019-06-13From the outside it appears to be closed as the shutters are down.... whats up with that?!You go inside and the checkout lines are ridiculous with only TWO cashiers working. O do have to give these ladies their props as they get it going fast. Management have to do better. Lots of people out of a job....hire more people!!!

2019-08-20So I had the misfortune of shopping at this location and my experience was horrible. I waited on line and then I was told that I have wait on line again because I did not clip the coupon.Sadly, when I was at the register the associate did not take the opportunity to explain to me what the process entails. At first, I took her to the location where the item’s promotion was displayed and explained to her numerous times that the promotion is for the item that I selected.She spoke with the manager, Kingsley who did not attempt to resolve the issue but to tell her to tell me “she has to wait on line “.I had to wait on line to return the items; this will be my last time shopping at this location.Overall the prices are ideal, but the service is poor and so I do not think that spending my money at this location is the best option for me.Your leadership needs training and associates needs training and hopefully there will be some improvements at this location....
