Staff is always willing to help, not their fault theres not enough of them to keep up with the shipments coming in. Keep up the good work!
The store is always cluttered and nothing is put away. Its very difficult to find anything and the line is always a 10 minute wait or more to check out.
Overall a nice store. Good customer service. A little over stocked in all of them in the area. Too much of stuff not used and not enough re-order on stuff that is used and sold out on.

I have to say every time I go into your store and I usually go on an average of once a week usually more, you can NEVER get down the isles they are always filled with empty boxes or stock thats just been left there, well I have had surgery and I came in there the other night to get some stuff I really needed and I have a walker I have to use and I was very upset as I almost fell trying to get around your store, your store is always dirty and has lots of stuff just laying around and the STAFF wow so rude and its like they hate to be there. I enjoy doing my shopping here at Dollar General I got some sweet beautiful looking women that work here and theyre very helpful and finding things that you dont know or its located in in their store a very polite respectful youre always smiling and having fun and thats a great thing
I can usually find pretty much everything I want here and I really like most of the staff but more often than not this store has boxes of merchandise blocking the aisles making it difficult to maneuver.
Its okay for a dollar general, however there is always carts with stock in several isles no matter if there is a holiday or not. It just happens to be in a small town.
Yes they have what you need, you just cant get to it because of all the carts. Workers are friendly. Heard they are a high volume store so there isnt room for all the stock Another one opened in the next town and that one is busy and neat.

Dollar General is great for craft supplies , kids books, discount clothing and cheap shoes and hair dye. I like that they are around all over and you can find a Dollar General any place in a small town that you go in New York state.

Well it sells alot of stuff but can we get some of that stuff off of carts and onto shelves so we can get to the stuff on the shelves that is currently being blocked by the stuff on the carts? OR build some backend storage.
Crowded aisles as usual. Very hard to get through. Cant see items on end caps because of the stock carts.
Thos place has really good prices on certain items like $1 Orbit gum & 75cent sparkling water.
They never seem to get stuff in. When you ask they are very rude. I went in for water and now I go somewhere else for water I went back for three weeks and they keep telling I just missed all they water. That is just one thing. They just dont care.

I have a hard time getting through the store with all the racks in the aisles full of racks. Sometimes it takes days to get what you needed on racks.

2019-07-10The customer service at the Greene, NY location is horrendous! In particular, the young woman who cashed me out. I believe her employee # is 3235. Very rude & disrespectful! Instead of taking the time to price check a few items for me, she just rudely snapped at me. She definitely needs some serious customer service training!Update on the Greene Dollar General. How is this in anyway productive? Its impossible to find anything on the side wall. Towels, cleaning products, bedding! Someone is eventually going to be seriously injured in this store. How does this store look like this any none of the other stores look like this?

2021-03-31I think Im going to do some Easter shopping tomorrow couple of young kids that my friend has cuz they dont have much kind-hearted and respectful person I am thats why I am going to do some Easter shopping for them and theres a couple of other kids dad I think Im going to get them some Easter eggs because this young lady very nice and kind-hearted and sweet to me so Im old-fashioned One hand washes the other and I enjoy going shopping at Dollar General because theres very respectful women that work there honestly I want mine getting to know him better

2020-06-21The best variety of purchasable goods in Greene, however their lack of a stockroom means that all of the fresh inventory is constantly out on carts in boxes. This leaves very little room in the aisles to navigate and if its busy good luck getting around to find anything.

2019-07-20I have to say this store is a mess... Needs a good cleaning....boxed merchandise is in carts left in the aisles ....carts in front of merchandise. I had to move a cart to get what I wanted. Corporate at Dollar General needs to visit this store and see the shape it is in. Everytime Ive been at the store the checkout line is 3-5 deep. This store is a welcomed addition to Greene, New York but the store is a disaster.

2019-04-21It is like any other DG. Quick easy grab and go general store. My biggest problem is the emergency exits and lanes are always blocked. If I cant get my paper towels, fine. If I cant escape in the event of an emergency, thats a problem. I have told the manager and they dont care.

2020-06-26Store is always dirty, not stocked and isles are blocked either at the ends or stacks In the isle. Hard to shop. One male cashier always makes comments on what customers are buying. Do not reccomend. Will travel to chenango forks dollar general.

2020-07-18Great place and near to my home so I stop there a lot. Clean and nice. People who work there are very nice too. And so far everyone wears a mask.
