Dollar General in other cities:
I can usually find what I need at great prices. My granddaughter bought the wrong kind of toilet paper for our septic. I took it back with a receipt and I hadnt planned on getting any there but to go somewhere else. The cashier suggested an exchange and I went and found an acceptable kind. At a good price, too. Helpful people.
Overall a good store, but tolerating customers without masks. I know they dont get paid enough to risk being shot by a deranged anti-mask activist, but it creates a dangerous environment for older customers or those who may be at higher risk. One clerk said his mask was under his nose because he smokes (lung irritation is a risk factor for contracting illnesses). Customers shouldnt be put at risk because of his lifestyle choices.4:00 to 6:00 PM is not a safe time for anyone concerned about the spread COVID-19.

2021-12-06The shelves are bare at this location quite often. The produce section was empty. We found expired hot dog rolls and bread. Many cooler shelves were empty too. The toy section was trashed and the floors could definitely use mopping.

2022-02-17Check your receipt before you leave the store! Several times I have bought items that the price listed on the shelf was lower than the price they charged!

2020-08-12Love this store however they do not enforce the mask. I am so tired of seeing people with no mask on, including a very tall female worker with a mask strapped below her chin, nose and mouth not covered what so ever. She has been in there on her days off chatting with a cashier with no mask and in my personal space as I am checking out. I hope at least they start holding their employees accountable.

2021-04-14The shelves in the otc medication aisles are always practically half empty or more. I dont understand why. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?? ? I just dont understand. The staff and management say that they only get what comes on the truck. They try to order things but it does no good. REALLY????

2020-11-28The store is convenient only reason I go. Not liking the staff. One of the tall blondes brings in her puppy when not working. The puppy had peed on the floor last time. On top of that she and her boyfriend dont wear the mask all the time. Is a let down. I use to like the store but the manager does not control the staff.

2020-05-12Very friendly and helpful staff. The representatives are always pleasant and provide a genuine smile and greeting. The price of items is fair and reasonable unlike the nearby family owned supermarket who often tries to gouge consumers!

2020-10-26Only One regsister was open, and as usual, the line was long as hell. They went from having 4 register down to two and a self check out, which wasnt even working yet. Other than that, the new look of the store was nice.

2019-03-04We just moved to the area and hit the Dollar General for cleaning supplies and some food items. The store was clean and well stocked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My first experience here in town was great, we will be back!

2017-08-05Good prices. Digital coupons make things so much easier, no need to clip coupons and bring them with you.

2020-10-01Went to Whitney Point location and it was awful. Blocked lanes, emergency exit blocked by shipping racks, and no inside handle on the rest room door causing my child to get scared because they couldnt get out not knowing the latch was duct taped so it cant latch (Real safe to have a rest room that you cant secure). Then we get to the check out. Customer service is non existent!! 3 lanes open until people lined up to check out then they dropped to one register open. The line stretched from the front corner back past the food lanes then turned 90* and went the width of the store back to the Halloween candy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your safety and the safety of your family.
