One of many weeks - a glut of plastic bags at the register! This week: youre required to pay 5c for a paper bag... Inconsistent! Next week? Remember to walk with your own grocery tote!Update: you can find beauty gems here - I wont mention the brands. And, as usual, theres only one cashier during peak hours causing the line to snake around the store aisles... Ahhhh... Dollar. 25 Tree!
Store has gone down within a few months. Horrible management overall!
They refused to reimburse me my money. I bought something and cashier saw it was broken she refused to give me back my money. Manager approved
Nice shop but no longer dollar tree. Mostly everything if not everything is now $1.25. Probably due to Covid. Long wait line to check out

The line is always long, to the back of the store and they still wont call additional cashiers to the line. Ive spoken to the manager a few months back and she just sits in the back in that security room and does nothing. Idk if mgmt has changed our not, but the service is as bad as its always been
Im here waiting on this long line towards the freezer door, why is there 2 cashiers one line and the managers isnt one of those cashiers. DollarTree has always been a staple of business in urban areas and my family appreciates that but comeon. If I ask for if possible to get another cashier and you tell me theres no one else? Dont lie to me, basically you didnt want to open another register plain and simple.
The first thing I saw in the three Dollar Tree stores that I visited was Take A Cart -- You Will Need One! Boy, that tagline never lied! I find things there that are either the same or just as good as products in other more highly priced retail outlets.I always leave happy!
Month after month this location has become less desirable to go too. I have come here many times and with every time I tell myself I won’t come here next time. The workers are not friendly at all. I understand sometimes negative work environment has an affect on work performance and if that’s the case, I hope the workers get an opportunity to find a better work environment. Otherwise the store is well stocked and Dollar Tree is one of my favorite stores to go too even when I don’t need anything specific. I hope this location gains a better work environment for the sake of their workers and customers.
Honestly was cleaner and neat compared to other dollar trees that Ive been too. The lines were long but it didnt take long until I got to check out. Everything is at a fair price and they supplied everything that I looked for, from kitchen utensils,hair products, and snacks.
Stocking seems to be the main priority over customer service in this particular store. Not only are these workers VERY RUDE but everyone is on the floor stocking watching the line get longer and longer with one person doing register. Dont waste your time shopping here its really not worth the headache. Theres another Dollar Tree at 2027 Flatbush Avenue and I encourage those who have the time to go a little further out to shop at this store instead.

Theres many things you can buy. That are not to big like a medium sized box stuffs and has daily life things you want and need.(ex:frozen foods, icecream, makeup, health products, dog toys, school supplies, holiday items, baskets,..)
This dollar tree the line always over crowded. I will say the cashiers are pretty polite not the most outgoing but polite. They need MORE cashiers. LINE IS LIKE A BLOCK LONG. 9/10 THERE is always only 1 cashier. Its horrible.
Store is a mess. 1 cashier for a line that stretches to the back of the store, around the bend and along the back wall. One if the employees was asked why not open more registers and replied the store only has 1 cashier. The rest if them dont do cashiers. Not worth the time or price to come here
Good location has like the best variety of things available compared to others. Linea werent too crazy they had that DMV effect tho many registers an 1 cashier SMH. But things went speedy enough an they enforced social distancing rules which was nice to see.
Terrible , lazy and obnoxious staff 😴 one pushes the other for the register when theres always a huge line instead of opening 2 out of 3 registers ☝️ And thats been going in for yrs as Im a customer there @the very least of 5 yrs where I strongly recommend to replace or permanently remove these lazy , obnoxious , and rude to customers staff w/professionally active staff and perhaps too , can able to generate a larger revenue by far vs. Loosing more money than before if you calculate the past 3 yrs @the very least ☝️🤷♂️
Terrible!!!!!!1 cashier working and a line that ran down the aisle and around the corner. Had to be smart about it. Joined the line with my cart as soon as I entered then left every couple of minutes to pick up more things. The cashier was going as fast as she could but she could only do so much.Poor management 👎
Couldnt find ice trays 😕, but they had everything else.Patience is absolutely needed for those lines though, just because of their location.Go there more towards opening or closing time.
A place to shop for handy items needed around the house.Staff is friendly and helpful and wants to get you going as quickly as possible.Good service... highly recommended..

I was on the line for 45 minutes to an hour , only one cashier. Many customers waited because they wanted their items. Usually its not like that but I dont know what happened that particular day!
The wait in line is getting longer because of a single cashier at most locations, otherwise it is a great source for party and other items.
Not a bad location but I hate when they say they don’t have helium. Why sell balloons without helium??? Or does no one feel like blowing balloons up.

Products toiletries laundry and other school materials and home decors are superp. Cashiers are respectful and pleasant. The store however needs to get organized with the many items that sometimes finds their way on the floor.If you need intern volunteer just reach out to me. I will be glad to help with some training .
They should give you a ticket for the cashier and call out the numbers. This way shoppers can continue shopping instead of waiting 20 minutes to check out. After waiting 15 minutes in the check out line 2 other check out lines opened up at the same time saving nobody any time. I would rather have spent the time shopping instead of waiting for a cashier.
The rudest staff I ever saw in NYC. I was standing over the empty cashier with baby, that I didn’t want to stay with a lot of people, while my husband stood in the line. One staff told me you cannot stay here. Then the cashier opened. The 1st cashier cried on to get out. A had 5 e All customers asked her let me go and she didn’t. They against my rights. Do not go there if don’t want to break your day

Great deals. The store was disorganized. Stuff in boxes in the isle making it hard to check out the shelves. Staff was overwhelmed. One cashier on duty the only other staff member was running around doing several things. Long line. Suggest getting more staff to organize store and man the registers for a better experience.

This review is regarding to how disgusting the managers are and whoever is of high authority in this store. About a year ago I was called in for an interview because the store is in desperate need of help. While waiting for my interview was treated poorly by the manager and the supervisor. The supervisor had an awful attitude and it seemed like she didnt want to be there and the manager (blonde, overweight, and very loud) made fun of me behind my back to the other workers but she is very loud so I obviously heard her. As they were interviewing me the manager asked me rudely what my ethnicity was in a very uneducated matter. They put me in the system and then I realized my worth and found a better job. I am unemployed now by choice and still wouldnt work there. Today my mother walked and saw they were hiring so she talked about to whatever manager was there. My mother called me to tell me but I told her I was interviewed a year ago and wasnt interested. Then, I received a phone call from this Dollar Tree from a very rude employee who I assume to be the same nasty supervisor, asked me if Im still interested. I then politely told her I am not interested and have found a better job since then. We then have a long pause on the phone and then she rudely says, Well youre still in the system so.. And then she hangs up on me.If I never came back after that day you interviewed me, why would you still think Im interested? Ever since your store has opened, youre in desperate need of help. Nobody would want to work there because of how nasty your attitudes are. The blonde manager yells out in a vulgar way to other employees in front of customers...that is so unprofessional and the employees who I feel bad for look like they dont want to be there. How about you first fix your attitude and treat people with respect and maybe youll get some people who would want to work there. And please dont talk to my mother again about me when she shops in there. And dont ever call me again with an ill-mannered employee on the line because I dont know how else I can prove to you that I dont want to work in your disgusting store.

Store is always dirty and disorganized, multiple shelves are always empty, and most annoying of all - they always have only one cash register open, and there is always a huge line to check out. Several times I put my purchases down and simply walked out because waiting 30+ minutes in line just did not appeal to me. How this extremely poorly run store has a rating of 4 on here is beyond me.
I was so excited that a Dollar Tree opened in this area! However the staff is rude unhelpful and lousy customer service...most of the time 1or 2 registers!.even when there is 20 ppl on line...they will not open another register....its not an organized store at all! I try to walk to flatbush ave and shop there...its much better there!..its really not fair ! Their attitude needs to change! Fire them all and get new ones!

This is a great store with some cool things for a buck. I can get lost going thru each isle. The one thing is that I wish they would have more cashiers available for check out. Today there was only one with a long line of customers.

This location is always a mess. Garbage outside the store, boxes all over inside, nothing is ever in the right place and is thrown about the store and on top of that almost every single time Ive been here theres only one register open and a line of customers. On the bright side, they always have what Im looking for and the prices are great.
Whenever i go they are always in the process of unpacking merchandise...thing all over the floor. Very difficult to maneuver my stroller through the isle.The manager is so rude and unprofessional. Ever time Im there i observe her being rude & short with customers. One time an elderly woman was taking a long time to get her change together & her tone became extremely disrespectful. Today i accidentally knocked over a box that was just laying there in the isle with stuff on it and i heard her kiss her teeth from far away and began cursing.
Staff is very rude. Wouldnt move out of the way for me to pass then shes screaming to another co-worker thats her pet peeve like really Im a customer !? Also it was very messy and you. Hold barely pass through the isle. The workers are very unprofessional having loud conversations about personal problems. Couldnt even go through an aisle because it was closed while they are stocking. Will never go back there the one on Flatbush is much better
This Place used to be clean and organized but now it is an disorganized hazard. Items and inventory are messy, off the shelves and dropped on the floor. Employees hide in the back office while lines are long and in the aisle. Boxs, waiting to be unpacked, are jammed in the aisles and can clearly can be a lawsuit if a person gets injured. The store is unkept and unclean. I dont know what has happened to this store but it has really gone down hill.
Was having a tough time finding what I was looking for, and decided to ask an employee for assistance. The employee was very rude, and gave attitude when I asked for assistance. I also approached her with a very nice tone because Ive had my fair share of customer service and dont enjoy being rude myself.
Very unprofessional employees who dont care that they give the customers attitude. Very disorganized inventory with boxes almost always scattered in the aisles. Holes in the floor that they have covered with cardboard and duct tape which is a hazard. But I guess they wont bring it to the attention of corporate to CYA because they would all get in trouble for the way things are run in there. Always packed because they refuse to open more than one register the majority of times. If its convenient to go here then go. But I prefer the dollar tree on flatbush closer to Ave n its way better there.
Despite the boxes being in the aisle, I like the location for the fast and friendly customer service, the ability to find what I need , and to try out new things that other locations may not have.Thank you for being accessible while some of the other locations are not.
Sometimes understaffed at the register, but always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Store is kept tidy and well stocked.

This was so dumb. All you need to know that i needed a brush and a durag, found both of them. But the cashier said This durag is unsell abule. Lemme ask, WHY WILL YOU PUT IT UP THERE. Another thing the line was Sooooo long and i heard that their cusion was tryin to apply but they declined but of course the line went all the way to the hot pockets/freezer area. Like i hated this experience if i could give a 0.5 i would. Only thing that worked out ok was the brush.

Has a little of everything from house decorations to stationary to cleaning food gardening. Not always the best quality products but useful for a quick fix.

This location needs a security guard just to stop peoples kids from tearing this store apart. Shame on this company and this stores management for what they put their poor staff through. 2 cashiers, 47 people in line arguing with each other while children scream and break stuff.
The selection is great but the lines are terrible. Despite several employees working in the store in the morning, when business is slow, the let one line grow to over 10 customers without any acknowledgment. I may work right next to it but Ill go somewhere else.
The dollar tree on Nostrand Avenue is so much better than the one on Church Avenue

Located on Nostrand Avenue in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, NY, Dollar Tree is an ideal place to get cleaning supplies and other household items, food and gardening supplies, etc. Accessible by B44 bus.
The shop needs to be arranged and it has good and cheap things, but there was a brunette brunette who was pulling the vehicle towards us and hurrying us to the distance from the road 3 times the same behavior and then she went to her friends laughing did not work just paid an empty cart because it was racist because we were Arabs

Its a little more crowded than other dollar tree stores (boxes usually in more than one area and there is normally one cashier). Its a great place to find small items.

The best Dollar Tree Ive been to. Unlike the others, they actually have a good amount of name brand products, and everything is organized and well stocked.

2021-11-17The line is always super crazy long with one register open & maybe a second if & when they notice how outrageous its gotten. Its usually messy w/ stuff everywhere & they run out of stuff pretty quick & take forever to restock. Theyve went up on prices by a quarter so its Dollar .25 Tree now I guess. Some things are worth it some are not & they sell you the worst paper bags to put ur things in with no handles absurd knowing ppl buy a lot since its so affordable. This store definitely changed my likeness for the brand altogether.

2022-06-17I always end up getting things I dont need from here lol. Decent amount of stuff but can be disorganized at times. Depending on the time you go, you may not get the items that youre looking for. Be prepared to stand on line 🙃

2022-01-09Though the store is often messy, it has what you need. My suggestion is that they should have more staff running the register. They often have only one person at the register to handle 20 ppl on the line. That is not fair.Also, they always have boxes around and I’m sure they are usually overstocked but they should have better way of managing their good instead of laying it around.

2018-11-17Only giving two stars because an employee tried to answer a question about an item I was looking for. Unfortunately, it was out of stock. This dollar tree is more like a container and kitchen appliances store. Boxes are ridiculously all over the place and packed very high. Really bad for liability concerns. Overall, the place is like an unorganized thrift shop!!! The store is not making its potential profits at all!! Took nearly 20 minutes or more to cash out, with several people ahead and behind me. At least 25 people in line with one cashier. Funny thing is there were two other employees at another register but I was told 1 I said excuse me because I didnt understand what the employee was saying. She kept repeating 1 and I realized she meant register 1!!! Such professionalism =/ meanwhile the register light was on and they were standing around it but quickly disappeared thereafter. Check out the pictures and the line didnt end there! There were more people standing behind the gentlemen. However, for the amount of people in line the cashier was very thorough and professional. The cashier greeted me, asked me if I found everything I was looking for and also told me to have a great night. Seems like this young lady is the only one carrying the weight of this store.Point blank period. .This store needs better management!!!! Simple.Oh and the big hole in the wall needs to be fixed! The one from a fight that apparently happened in the store. Smh

2021-07-03The shelves were well stocked. That was a pleasant surprise. But the checkout line was from the register to the back of the store. I waited on line for about thirty minutes before someone finally opened an additional register. I dont do lines. Theyre lucky that I really wanted the Ajax and other impulse buys. I guess Ill return in a few months.
