Dollar Tree is always good. Im able to find stuff I need for my home, for myself, or like recently, for a last minute childrens party. I love dollar tree! Definitely one of my favorite stores.
If you have to buy for less, its an ideal store and good prices. 👍

The better of the Dollar Tree Ive been to. My big problem with dollar tree is you have a very long line of customers and only one cashier. Makes no sense.

Disgusting, grotesque employee by the name of Andrew who is not only ugly inside and out he is also the reason why this store ranks among the worst Dollar Tree locations in the city. While Dollar Tree is notorious for poor customer service, Andrew and the extremely unprofessional and repelling Indian ‘supervisor’ take the cake. The prices are low but so are the employees, stay far away from this dump.
I could not find what I needed or an employee 2 help me either.
4 stars only because the store is on the smaller side, so there isnt as much items/variety available.But what is available is just so freaking cute. And i love the fact that so easily accessible because its right beside the train station.
On a few occasions I went into the store. When I asked to get back money my card the blonde girl gave me a 50.00 bill without asking. I wanted 20s and a 10.00. With an attitude told me register is closed.2nd time I asked the blonde about a product she gave a nasty answer. Hassan the manager has to waken up and hire better people ,instead of sleeping on his job.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Prior to going, I called to confirm they had balloons and would be filling them. They said yes. Prior to waiting on the VERY long line, I confirmed that they could fill balloons. Again an employee confirmed and told me to wait on line. Then they told me once I got to the front of the line they had no balloons to fill.Very poor communication and customer service.
Today, I got a call to bring home pancake mix when I was on my way home from the gym. I said okay! Then realized I had no money on me until i realized i had a gift card in my pocket.. I knew it was nearly at $0 but I figured there was at least $1 to stop at the Dollar Tree and grab a little box of pancake mix for just 1.00.. Then my card apparently only had .50 on the card. I stand there kinda confused and embarrassed and the lovely woman behind me offered to pay that extra .50 for me. I thought that was really sweet and helpful and just cool!Oh and the staff here is always nice but the lines are usually incredibly long with only 2 registers open during their rush hours. Overall love this store though and the people who shop in it!
Oh my, this store is all over the place! You can find a thing or two that you want here but it’s so unorganized sometimes! Even the lights were barely on the last time I was here. It was very confusing. The Cashier’s were somewhat slow at checking people. Felt like I was walking into some children’s playground that has been turned upside down.
Love shopping at dollar tree. This particular location Ihowever is always such a mess. I hate going there. I go out of my way to go to dollar trees further from my home just so I don’t have to deal this mess at this store. It’s a shame. The aisles are full of boxes and the shelves are messy. Some aisles are blocked off because of deliveries that are not stocked yet. Conditions I consider unsafe, an accident waiting to happen! If your in the Astoria area I would go to one of the other dollar trees not too far away. It’s less mess and less hassle. It’s unfortunate I can’t add pictures to this reviews or else you’d see exactly what I am talking about.

Ive been there once and it was a good experience. It was organized and clean. Employees were polite. Good location right next to train stop.
This place is a disaster on a good day. You miiiiight find what youre looking for, you might also find an isle completely unreachable due to it being packed with unopened packages from a newly shipment. But, its a dollar store in Astoria. Margins are probably too thin to properly pay staff. 🤷🏻♂️
Name of the shop completely describes it - everything is just one dollar! It is great there is a way to buy a lot of cleaning tools, liquids and even some snacks for such a low price. Price for the same in another shops are usually 3-4 times higher!
The store was well stocked. People are expected to practice social distancing as the store monitors how many shoppers are already inside. Mask are required 👍
Its fun,shopping to the Dollar store. You can find everything you need for just one dollar. You can make a lot of smart shopping and save lots of money.

Great place to buy stuff for the low! Highly recommend coming here for cheaper everyday necessities. Lines are longer due to covid.
This is a great store to shop at unfortunately the manager and Saturday morning cashier are very rude. This was the second time they gave me a hard time about getting a double bag even after buying 19 items. The cashier put all of my items in one bag and that made it extremely heavy. Supposedly you can only get a double bag after 8 or 9 items. I had 19. When I asked the cashier to separate my items she put 4 items in a single bag and refused to give me a double even th ou ghost my picture frames were going right through the bag. I said I will buy a bag. How much? 10 cents 15 cents? Store manager and cashier said No they dont allow that. So I stood there arguing with them and my morning was ruined with aggravation. They also gave the elderly lady in front of me a hard time and she ended up buying 2 re-use blessed bags. I understand its a dollar store but we also cant walk home holding out items in out hands. At least let us buy a plastic bag.
Fairly large store (for Astoria standards), open until 9pm every day, and usually clean. Downsides are that they sometimes are not fully stocked, and the wait lines for purchases tend to be pretty long :(Overall a plus for the neighborhood.
I love shopping here..Its always well stocked and i always find everything i need. The Store manager Hassan is so helpful and so nice he goes above and beyond to help all the customers The Staff always gives great customer servic... I love this Dollar Tree
Terrible, line goes on & on. Just gotten out of work didnt feel like standing on an excessive line I left my groceries everything I wanted to buy I just left in the basket.
This location is large, organized and has many things that you may not find in the other Dollar Tree locations
Lots of stuff, and some seasonal things too, as well as back to school offerings. They should change their name to dollar and a quarter.
Eileen, Soukon, and britney were closing and were so rude. A minute after closing the girls threatened to close the register and not take my purchase as I am searching through the tarnished store for an item. Instead of assisting me they rushed me out and gave me an attitude while ringing me up. Rushing every 5 minutes making announcements about closing in 5 minutes at 8:52. Not a good look. Get better workers not these ratchets.
This is the real deal ! Unlike other stores with dollar in their names, in this store anything you buy costs $1 !! Don´t get fooled, this the right place to save your money. We found many useful things and spent just a few dollars.
Poor Service! Hassan is a horrible manager. The store is dirty. The staff is rude. They dont even have enough of a supply of shopping bags to pack and carry your purchases. I emailed the corporate office, via their website and they never responded.
Always crowded and the checkout is extremely slow. Very unorganized and crowded aisles with boxes. They need more cashiers especially on weekends.
Finally a Dollar Tree that is well organized! This place has everything and for a good price!

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I dont even want to give one star. I was on the line while holing a few items. The customer woman behind me put her items on the counter belt since he had a lot of items. When my turn came, the casher(an old African American woman) skipped me and started scanning the times of the woman after me. So I said to her No, I was before her, but she said I could not see yours since you didnt put yours on the belt. as if like it was my fault and kept scanning her items. She did skipped me even after she heard I was before her. All customers behind me were speechless. I asked her to call a store manager but she ignored that request. Finally she called a store manager over the phone, but she told her as if like everything are my fault and she did nothing wrong. The store manager(she was a very young african american woman) finally shown up and I tried to explain what happened, but she didnt even try to listen to me. No apologetic at all and super rude and arrogant. Both store manager and the casher women were really rude, impolite, and worst retail store employees who Ive ever met in my life.

Not to bad of a store to shop at. I usually run in to pick up cleaning supplies. Like dish detergent, bleach, Ajax. Every now and then I might pickup some chips for snacking.

2022-06-12The store was very neat and clean. The store also was very organized and it was a joy to walk up and down the aisles and be able to see everything without having to dig through everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of items that I saw online that were in the store. The checkout line was long so they opened more registers. Very knowledgeable staff.

2022-06-18I just shopped today 06/17/22 at dollar tree located @ 31-72 31st & this manager called ROSIE made me have the worst experience. First I ask to use the bathroom She tells me I can go then changes her mind& tells me I cannot go now, &that only my son can go, mind you it was an emergency for me she was careless and walked away. Now later I’m making a line to check out & I see her & her co workers murmuring joking staring right at me, must be about bathroom emergency I had! Then she smirks at me & I ask her to add someone else to ring because there is long line to the back of store & I see her & 3 co workers just laughing and hanging out &ringing each other by the register instead of her ringing customers that waited the line. This experience was really immature and unprofessional. I Didn’t Appreciate the atmosphere and I come to this dollar tree all the time.

2022-06-08Theres one thing Ive noticed that every Dollar Tree has in common with each other, They will literally only have one out of 4 registers open with a line of customers down one isle waiting to pay. You have the registers use them so customers can get out faster.

2018-10-14This Dollar Tree location is better stocked then a few others I have visited in the past around Brooklyn and Queens areas. Thats a plus for this location and the neighborhood adds a more positive vibes to this business. Mostly middle class working families or individuals. Parking is a bit difficult to find around this neighborhood for this store. So they lose a star rating for that reason. All in all, I will be coming back to this location more often and I will recommend them as well.

2022-04-02So last week I left my heart ♥️💋neon light, my super dope wooden lamp shade in the front of the store because I didnt want to walk around with it, leaving this there I didnt notice about for stops away from my stop, which means for almost an hour this went unnoticed (me not having my things). So I called the store asked if they could hold the items until I came back which not knowing this was the same store but just wanting to go to the nearest dollar tree there I was almost a week later. - AhhhhFuckibgAmazing they had my ish.... #CustomerServiced Thank you ❤️💋

2018-11-27Love this dollar tree! They are well stocked and have a few more options than the other dollar trees I’ve been to. Keep it up you guys! I bought a few things from here to make a Christmas wreath spent about $6 and it came out great!
