Shirley location is always trashed . And only one cashier. Unless someone gets nasty . Very often .... shelf stock is all garbage .
This Dollar Tree is disgusting. The asiles are always in total disarray. Everything out of place. Merchandise on the floor. Usually only 1 register open. I would not recommend this dollar tree. I only go to it because it is the most convenient one for me.
Dollar Tree in Shirley was great, fairly empty, got what I needed, which was a squeegee and small brush at a very low price

The floor is nasty and while once in awhile they clean things up in general the atmosphere is not great. I dont like disparaging my own neighborhood but its not as nice as the one by the library.
I came in and witnessed a customer be extremely rude and a generally depraved person to one of the cashiers, but there must be something right with the training because she handled it so professionally and with the utmost class and grace. Her name was Tyrra and everytime I have come in she has really been the representation of what a hard working great employee should be. If people here are learning from the example she is setting they will have nothing but success! Very impressed with how great Tyrra is!

This Dollar Tree is a hot mess. The shelves were half full and boxes were spilling out on the floor. I had to dig through piles of things to find what I was looking for.
Having shopped in Dollar Tree each time I visited family in Virginia Beach, I was beyond excitement when the chain decided to come to NY and especially in my neighborhood. I immediately began shopping there and found the prices, associates, appearance of the store absolutely wonderful......Well I just recently-July 22-went to the store and imagine my surprise at the state of things!!!!! The store has become increasingly dirty, shelves messy, lacking stock, understaffed and basically an eyesore....I realize that it has been there some time and there may be issues with the building it is housed in but my goodness-general cleaning of the carpets should not be an issue...I noticed the condition of the store going down over a period of time but thought it would improve-not worsen :-( Much as I love this store I dont think its maintained well at all and something needs to be done-and soon; youre going to start losing customers to the new store opening down the street!!! Maybe thats why nothing is being done here but if so, you need to post a changing location sign or something to let customers know that store is going to be renovated-which it desperately needs!!!
They only have 1 cashier on at a time everytine I have been here.the lady was rude but they definitely restocked because they had full inventory.
1 star because it makes you leave at least 1.The store is filthy and never stocked. Today, I was in the store with my elderly aunt and I was simply appalled by the floor manager and staff, yelling and acting like a bunch of children.. carrying on using offensive language and making very loud sexual comments about who will be sucking what while down on their knees.. it was rather disgusting. What was really unbelievable is the fact that they were older people. You may expect this kind of behavior from teenagers who arent properly trained on how to behave at the work place, but this was a bunch of low class adults acting like a bunch of punks. I will shop at the other Shirley store on William Floyd from now on.
This store always stocked up just dont like when have people hanging out asking u for money the shopping center dirty too Ill go to one by library no one asking u for money or hanging around in parking lot

This place is a mess! Not to mention rude cashiers. There’s a better location in Patchogue it’s always clean, stocked and has much nicer employees.
That cashier Elizabeth (she said shes fairly new there) , with the red hair is really awesome we had a great conversation, very polite and professional individual.
We always go there for all the odds and ends we need and everything is really only a dollar

2022-01-06Went to buy detergent yesterday. The bottle was smaller. But as we all know the price is now $1.25. Be aware of packages getting smaller . So dollar tree may not always be the best bang for the buck or buck twenty five.

2021-12-16There is a homeless young man who set up camp outside the store panhandling. Im all for helping those in need but with at least 50 help wanted signs within walking distance of his spot. All he needs to do is apply. Begging is a tax free windfall for him. There is another dollar store a little further down William Floyd no beggers there

2018-09-21Like other Dollar Trees that I have been to, this one is great! It is clean and clutter-free. Great selection of items. And the cashiers are very friendly. Probably the only negative about the store is there is usually only one cashier working at any particular time. And not just for this Dollar Tree, but for all Dollar Trees that I have been too.

2019-02-23I go to many dollar trees all over the island so I am aware of how each specific store is overall. This particular one is the closest to my home but it is also the most horrible one in Suffolk county by far! It’s is consistently a complete and utter disgusting mess!! I was there today and one several aisle had literally piles a foot or two high of merchandise on the floor in the the middle of the aisles! You could barely get a cart down the aisle. Looks like this store is never cleaned!! It’s never stocked, always disorganized and very hard to find what you need. I don’t know why this store is allowed to continue in this condition??? It’s a disgrace! Go to ANY OTHER DOLLAR TREE BUT THIS ONE!!
