Dr. Dolman is fantastic! I had the best experience with my wisdom tooth extraction. He squeezed me in last minute on a Friday, and it was done before I knew it. He was so attentive and professional and checked up on me multiple times after the surgery to ensure everything went okay. Couldn’t not recommend more highly!
Overall, I had a great experience at Dolman oral surgery. Dr. Dolman was honest and informative during my consultation and provided thorough pre and post op instructions. He was very punctual and operated on my single tooth Coronectomy efficiently. I am now 6 weeks out from surgery and everything seems to be healing well. He was also very reachable during the process and would respond to any questions or concerns via text quickly. I was in a considerable amount of pain for almost 2 weeks post op and he provided recommendations to help manage that better and provided insight into whether or not I should be concerned with the progression. It was extremely helpful and also comforting to know that things were looking normal. The only recommendation I would have is that there should be a check up automatically scheduled at the time of scheduling the surgery to check in on healing. I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Dolman should I need to get any of my remaining wisdom teeth removed and would recommend him without hesitation.
My wife and I are so thankful we went to see Dr. Dolman. Dr. Dolman is by far the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is kind, courteous, explains everything clearly and takes his time to make sure you’re fully aware of your condition. I had two wisdom teeth removed and was quite nervous about the procedure. Dr. Dolman is not only a skilled surgeon but is kind and compassionate. He was completely accessible before the procedure answering all of my many questions and checked on me regularly after the procedure. Highly recommend!
I got my wisdom teeth taken out here and let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences of my life. I was very nervous of course because everyone told me how bad it would be but I would sell my soul to get them taken out here again. The whole procedure was very relaxing and I felt very well taken care of by the staff. It was the most comfortable procedure I have ever undergone and although it was an hour of surgery, it felt like minutes. I got to listen to some really epic music and honestly had the best sleep of my life. Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely come back if I had any wisdom teeth left.
Dr. Dolman was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to sit with you and explain your options and procedure with incredible detail. I felt absolutely no pain for the surgery and very little discomfort with the healing process. He checked on me multiple times once i got home to make sure that all was well. He really cares for his patients and it shows. His staff was very friendly and professional. If ever i need another oral surgery i will absolutely return, for the quality of his work and professionalism is second to none.
I rarely write review, but I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and service of Dr. Dolman and his team. I received unbiased medical advice outlining all options available. Dr. Dolamn indelicate the pros and cons and did not try to steer me in any direction. The extraction was smooth and flawless, and the instructions post surgery where clear and comprehensive. I received multiple text messages directly from Dr. Dolman to check that all is going well post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Dolman and his team.
Doctor Dolman not only is an extremely smart and talented surgeon but he also has shown more personal care and interest in my recovery than any other Doctor I’ve ever dealt with. He checked up with me every few days after my recovery and answered questions I had for him over text even on weekends which I don’t think is common especially for surgeons of his caliber. Also, his staff and him have great bedside mannerism and made me feel comfortable during my surgery. Highly recommend - truly my best experience with a Doctor ever.P.S. I went to Dr. Dolman to get one of my wisdom teeth removed. It was one of the BEST dental experiences I have ever had. I had minimum pain and bleeding. Dr. Dolman is available even during the weekend and texted me multiple times to check in on me.
Dr Dolman is a highly skilled and praiseworthy oral surgeon with an exceptional attention for the patient and family. My 19yr old son had four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Dolman. During the consultation, Dr Dolman presented different options: he was very clear that there were choices and was not pushing on having any procedure done, even though the surgery was already scheduled the same week. We choose to go ahead with all four wisdom teeth extracted under full anesthesia, prophylactic. Dr Dolmans instructions pre- and post-op are meticulous. Dr Dolman is clearly a very skilled surgeon who makes the procedure seem uncomplicated. His personal aftercare is unbelievably attentive. My family had some anxiety and benefited from Dr. Dolmans attentiveness and availability, during the weekend and in the evening. Not a nurse who is in touch and checks in: Dr Dolman himself answers all questions and follows up if you do not reach out to make sure everything is going according to plan. The entire office staff is remarkably courteous and well run: from making the appointment, processing the insurance claim and reimbursing the insurance funds. The entire experience was beyond our expectations.
Dr. Dolman is the perfect example of a doctor that you can trust with your health. He performed wisdom tooth surgery on me in December, and followed up with me post op to answer any of my questions and concerns that I had. It took me longer than usual to recover (around 1.5 months), but thats just my body. He did an incredible job and I highly recommend him. Also hes very genuine and extremely nice, qualities that I wish every doctor had. Definitely one of the best doctors in NYC by a landslide, and there arent many out there like him (trust me, I know from experience, Ive been to several over the last year for other health concerns). Go to him if you need a surgeon for your jaw or wisdom teeth!! Thank you Dr. Dolman for setting a great example.Also all of his staff are amazing as well. Dr. Robert Dolman has exceptional surgical skills and a highly profesional approach to patient care. He offers a detailed review of the dental plan and alternatives as well as benefits of dental implants. I had 2 implants done by Dr. Dolman and througout the procedures he made sure I was not in pain and explained what he was doing step by step. Discharge instructions are very thorough with written details of what to expect for the next few days after surgery.Expect a phone call on the evening after surgery from Dr. Dolman to see how you are doing .
I have been putting off getting my wisdom teeth out for a few years now and a few months back they finally began to hurt. I have some jaw issues - mainly just clicking/popping sounds- due to years of grinding my teeth at night so I was very nervous that any type of mouth surgery, especially one like wisdom teeth removal, would only make it worse. My consultation with Dr. Dolman right off the bat was extremely comforting and I knew I would be taken care of the moment I walked in. He eased any of my concerns, didnt rush me, and was very flexible with scheduling. I opted to not go the route of anesthesia and a few days prior to my surgery appointment the doctor sent me a very detailed list of things I might need post-extraction as well as a list meds to take and how often leading to and after the surgery. The day of I felt pretty nervous (although the anxiety meds he prescribed certainly helped) but I was immediately comforted again by Dr. Dolman and his warm and attentive staff. Even throughout the procedure, Dr. Dolman and the assisting staff checked in often with me to make sure I was okay. After we finished, he gave me a few pages of very detailed instructions and even his personal number and made sure to let me know I could reach out whenever. He even checked in on me unprompted. Five days after the surgery, I was still having some pretty intense pain on my right side (which can happen after extractions unfortunately - my left side hardly even hurt once which just goes to show how skilled he is) and he got me in that day and medicated the wound and I felt instantly better. He made sure I knew I wasnt a bother and to keep him updated on how I was feeling afterwards. I know this is long but as someone who is terrified of these things Dr. Dolman and his staff were such a breath of fresh air and anyone who is on the fence, Dr. Dolman is the way to go. His prices are very reasonable and he clearly is not just out for money like some and truly cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Dolman and your lovely staff!

I was referred to Dr. Dolman by LIC Dental Associates during a routine check-up. Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed with minimal pain and discomfort. Dr. Dolman followed up via text and made sure the recovery went smoothly. Would recommend his practice to anyone in need of oral surgery.
Doctor Dolman is terrific. I had a wisdom tooth extraction and was very apprehensive going into the procedure. I was given iv sedation and it felt like I was under for 5 minutes. I went home and took ibuprofen the same day, and zero pain meds thereafter. I had no pain at any point and my gum is healing very nicely. Doctor Dolmans skill and bedside manner are second to none.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr Dolman. He was very caring, explaining all steps before the removal of my wisdom tooth and following up with me during the following weeks. The tooth extraction per se went very well with no complications and very minor pain. He was always available for any question, even off-hours! Dr. Dolman was recommended by my dentist and I can’t be more thankful. Although I am out of network, I was impressed by Dr. Dolman’s professionalism and experience. I had 4 wisdom teeth took out at once and I was able to recover very quickly within few days and before and after surgery, he had always made himself available to answer my questions quickly and patiently via text and email. I am writing this review a year and a half after my procedure with Dr. Dolman. I intended to do it sooner but never got around to it, but when a friend recently asked if I knew a good oral surgeon - I was instantly reminded, that I knew the BEST! Honestly, as you will read in the countless other reviews, Dr. Dolman is an incredible care provider! In my experience he is unmatched in his skill as an oral surgeon (unfortunately, I have had several root canals and am no stranger to a difficult dental procedure, including some that have gone wrong or taken multiple trips to remedy). His knowledge, speed, confidence, and kind demeanor were such a blessing. Especially with my shaky dental history I was nervous going in, but very quickly felt calm and reassured I was in good hands. I came to him with a wisdom tooth that was causing pain and needed extraction, but which I had been told by previous physicians for over a decade, was too close to a nerve to safely remove. He looked carefully at all 4 and was confident this was not the case and that he would be able to remove it for me. He was also conservative with his assessment of the remaining 3 which he advised me to leave in place as they were not causing any problems - what refreshing, measured honesty! He did an excellent, pain free, and extremely quick job of the extraction. Above all, the most wonderful part of my experience was his aftercare approach - he explained exactly what it would feel like, how the stages of healing would progress, and he checked in and made himself available via text for any questions or concerns in the days to follow - something I have never come across from a medical practitioner in any field. This level of care was something so refreshing, and I realized very quickly how it dramatically improved my whole experience as a patient. He is so genuine in his true concern for each patient, and passionate about this very intentional method of helping them through the often tougher stages of healing that follow any surgery. 18 months on I can say my mouth is as perfectly healed as he said it would be at our follow up appointment so many months ago.I absolutely should have written this review sooner, but on the plus side I am so happy to be doing it now, with even more perspective and time to reflect on how truly exceptional this practice is - why can’t they all be Dr. Dolman?!
Dr Dolman was absolutely phenomenal. Everything from the second you walk in exceeds all expectations. I had two wisdom teeth pulled out and it was the most simple procedure I have ever had. Him and his staff made sure I was accommodated at all times, not to mention the office was very clean. However what I appreciated most about my visit was the time Dr Dolman took to explain the conditions of my wisdom teeth and he then let me decide, to his advice, how I wanted to go about my procedure. I recommend everyone Dr Dolman, he is the best and someone you can trust.
I removed all my 4 IMPACTED wisdom teeth with Dr. Dolman and let me tell you...it was the smoothest (and only) surgery Ive ever done! He has the HANDS OF AN ANGEL.I was scared at first because I heard so many horror stories about it specially if you are only using local anesthesia but my experience with Dr. Dolman was great. He explains every step of the process, he recommends what youll NEED to do (sometimes we go and visit doctors thinking we need to get something done but maybe is not the case), the team in the office is so nice and helpful! Also the after care was an incredible experience. Dr. Dolman provides you instructions of everything you need to do explicitly! I never had an infection, I followed everything he recommended.If you are in the NYC area and thinking about removing your wisdom teeth, Dr. Dolman is your man!

Dr. Dolman and his team are absolutely wonderful - I highly recommend if you need an oral surgeon. My cousin recommended him to me, and I was so glad I went. I began my adventure with a tooth infection that was consistently getting worse. Turns out that I had a fracture and needed the tooth completely removed. Dr. Dolman explained all of my options, answered all of my questions, and I began the tooth removal and then tooth implant process. His calm manner, care, and attention during the whole process were exceptional. I also really appreciated that he was just a text away if I had any questions after any of the stages. All of the staff at the office are also so friendly and welcoming. Im so thankful to Dr. Dolman and his team for the smooth and seamless experience.

I had 3 wisdom teeth (well, 2.5 because of one being too close to a nerve) extracted by Dr Dolman a month ago. Before and after the procedure, he and his staff were so kind and attentive. My recovery went smoother than I could’ve ever imagined — the bleeding stopped ~6 hours after the procedure, virtually no pain at the extraction sites, barely any face swelling, and I was able to return to mostly normal eating after a week. All of this, thanks to Dr Dolman’s expertise and following his aftercare instructions to a T. Would 10/10 recommend this office for oral surgery.
Dr. Dolman is unlike any other doctor I’ve encountered (especially in NYC!) He takes his time with his patients, fully explaining the procedure/what to expect (he even draws out helpful diagrams), and most of all, you never feel he’s in a rush, and he genuinely seems to care. He gives out his cell phone and is extremely responsive through texts (even on evenings and weekends). The extractions themselves were really as pleasant as they could’ve been. I felt completely relaxed, and felt no pain during and after the procedure. The office is super clean and pretty. Could not recommend Dr. Dolman enough!
Dr.Dolman is the best oral surgeon in Ny if you ask me I had a cracked wisdom tooth on my bottom left side I explained to him how my other wisdom teeth pulling in the past went and he explained to me the procedure necessary. During the surgery I felt no pain and to be honest I didn’t feel any pain after either. This is definitely the place to go to ! Makes me wish the office did regular dentistry too. If I can give 20 stars I would.I guess the people who left all these reviews were right because I don’t have not one complaint from Dr.Dolman down to his staff. Everyone was very polite and respectful ! They didn’t take my insurance and I payed out of pocket and it was worth every penny! From the surgery to the easy recovery.
I’ve had my wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Dolman lately and had two more extracted 4 years ago. I was taken very good care and had great experiences for both visits!! My teeth were impacted and I was told by other doctor it’s not gonna an easy recovery for me. But Dr Dolman eased my concerns and my recovery was speedy and almost pain free. Dr Dolman is very caring and quick to address my questions and worries.
HONESTLY AMAZING! Ive had some tooth problems since I was a teen due to financial problems and some horrible experiences with public assistance dentists/doctors that left me with a huge fear of getting any work done. During this pandemic- now as an adult with my own business- a tooth abscess I ignored for 4+ years decided to flare up. Why wouldnt it flare up in the middle of a pandemic right? I reached out to an oral surgeon and had an appointment coming up on the 28th of this month, but the pain got worse and it decided to swell up and turn red, causing headaches, ear pain and anxiety. I couldnt even get in contact with the other surgeon to ask if I should go to the hospital as things got progressively worse. Finally feeling like I couldnt take it anymore I made a virtual doctor appointment and got prescribed an antibiotic and was given the advice to find a different surgeon since it was clearly an emergency. A few google results later and I came across this place. Reading over reviews I decided this was the place to go, they even have 5 stars on yelp which is practically unheard of! I emailed them describing my situation and Dr. Brecher got back to me that very same day, not only that, he even called me that very same night and instructed me that the antibiotics were a good call, he discussed my situation with me, and determined that this was definitely an emergency I should come in for and even left me with his cell phone number. That was on 5/12. On 5/14, I went in for a 10am appointment with him and expected to just have a consultation I would no doubt have to pay for. When I got there, they did some X-rays, using an amazing X-ray machine that even played some calming music and after going over them completely with me not only did he surprise me by offering to take out the dead root that very same day, he took out another 2 teeth which were definitely emergencies as well all at once! (I have some pretty bad teeth I was ignoring.) He walked me through every single step and before starting anything gave me a very clear view of what would need to be done, why, my options, and any complications which could potentially arise and even my options for each scenario. He also went over prices and options with that as I pay out of pocket and made sure I understood everything to make the best choices for myself! This was my first work without any laughing gas (due to the pandemic) and I was extremely nervous going in, my experience with him was painless (besides a slight pinch from the shots) and very quick! After that- I now feel I can take care of my other teeth problems in the future and will definitely be going back to him. Relief literally flooded my body during the operation as he removed the dead root. I could not be more thankful for the service and professionalism he provided. From the minute you talk with him you can tell he cares not only about providing the highest level of care, but also that you yourself are comfortable and mentally sound. The office has state of the art equipment and a very calm and professional vibe. It definitely makes you feel at ease being there. Not only that, theyre exceptionally clean and you can tell with the pandemic going on theyve taken extra precautions to make sure everyone remains safe and healthy. 10/10 would recommend this place! As for after? He explained everything and made sure I had no questions left before leaving. They provided me a bag of goodies needed to care for my extraction sites after which even included a little beeswax lip balm! Wow! Its the little things that make such a big difference haha! I had a question for him last night and texted expecting a reply sometime today or tomorrow but he answered within minutes! Day 2 after removal and I feel great, no pain, no stress, and actually looking forward to continuing work on my dental health. I am so grateful for everything! In the time it took for other offices to respond to my initial inquiry, Abigail called me and set up an appointment for the next day, which is a rare experience in NYC.I had an impacted wisdom tooth that was overdue for removal and the process went as smoothly as I could have hoped. I had been traumatized by previous wisdom tooth extractions that were painful and drawn out and was nervous to undergo the procedure again. I opted for intravenous sedation and the surgery was painless and felt like it passed by in a matter of a few minutes. Dr. Dolman was available before and after the procedure to answer any questions and to ensure that all prescriptions were filled. The surgery site has since healed with no complications.I really appreciate the care and attention to detail I received from Dr. Dolman and the patient care coordinators. When I first came across their reviews I was slightly suspicious because I have never seen a 5 star doctors office listed. As it turns out, they do exist! Dr. Dolman and his team balance effort and efficiency in their work and it definitely shows. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am more than highly recommending Dr. Dolman for wisdom teeth extraction. He was extremely kind, caring and helpful throughout the whole process. A few days before the surgery, he sent me a personalized list of what I would have to do before I came into the office and what I would have to do after I left. From the second I stepped foot into the office, he made me feel calm and comfortable until the very end. I was given the IV sedation so I fell asleep and after I woke up, he gave me an anti anasthetic to take away the effect of the anesthesia. I left the office feeling totally normal after having gotten 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Before I left the office, he gave my mom and I clear instructions on what to do when I got home. I continued to ice my cheeks all day and take ibuprofen. I barely felt any pain in my mouth. I woke up the next morning with barely any swelling or pain. I felt totally okay to resume my regular day to day activities the next day. This was the smoothest wisdom tooth removal process and I am thankful that I did it with Dr. Dolman! Could not imagine having done it with anyone else!

Saw Dr Dolman again and came away completely happy. The office works like clockwork, work ethic and level of attention and politeness from the entire staff is exemplary. But this time I was referred by a friend and went to Dr Dolman for another two wisdom teeth removal, it was the best experience ive ever had its weirdly relaxing..and it didnt hurt the second day and my teeth are recovering great. Will recommend Dr Dolman to anyone that needs oral surgery!!
I had a great experience having 2 lower wisdom teeth removed. Scheduling an appointment was quick (Dr Dolman actually took my call on the 2nd ring) and the initial consult was great in that Dr Dolman went over everything very clearly and made sure I understood what he was talking about. Seeing your xray on the big screen while he reviews your case is great and reassuring. The actual extraction was straightforward but the follow up was amazing. Several texts from Dr Dolman telling me what to expect and do over the following 2 weeks made me much less concerned about developing any problems.I do not normally write google reviews but out of the blue the office contacted me today to tell me my insurance overpaid them and I was owed a considerable amount of money. Honestly, I didnt feel like I overpaid at all and I would never have discovered this on my own.Highly recommend!
Not many people can say they had a positive experience removing their wisdom teeth - Dr. dolman is the best--- update after one month:Ive never known any other doctor who is more responsible than Dr. Dolman. I did my surgery on Friday and it started to bleed on Sunday, I texted Dr. Dolman on Sunday and he responded immediately and told me what to do. I kinda feel bad for taking up his time on weekend to ask him those questions. He is so patient, so caring, and he asked me to go back on Monday morning to give me another quick surgery. At first I assume that would be an emergency surgery since i didnt have an appointment and waited for weeks, it could cost so much. However, Dr. Dolman didnt charge me anything! He was so busy, I think he had a lot of appointments on that day too but he spared time to help me fix my bleeding problem. I appreciate his help so so much, and he also texted to check my situation multiple times after the second surgery. I recommended to my friends who also suffer from wisdom teeth problems and I would never stop recommending Dr. Dolman to friends in New York!!
The experience at Dolman Oral Surgery was amazing. Before finding this place, I was really nervous about getting my wisdom tooth extracted. All my worries disappeared once I stepped foot into this office. The environment is so pleasant, all the staff are so friendly and Dr. Dolman is great. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest and comforting. He explained everything that he was going to do prior to the procedure and gave a list of all the different options. The procedure was painless and quick. The recovery was extremely smooth. Dr. Dolman gave his number and texted several times to make sure that things were going okay. If only all doctor office visits were like this one. A very positive experience and I couldn’t be anymore happier that I did my procedure here. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a phenomenal oral surgeon.

Dr. Dolman extracted 5 teeth including 2 that were severely impacted, and at every step, he and his staff were professional and talented.I was seen almost immediately after contacting Dr. Dolman, and the surgery was scheduled in a similarly rapid manner.I chose to stay awake for the procedure. On the day of the surgery I took an anti-anxiety pill (lorazepam - prescribed by Dr. Dolman and ready to be picked up at my local pharmacy). After arriving I was given laughing gas, and shortly after that, my gums were injected by needle with a numbing agent.Being so relaxed the needle didnt hurt or bother me. It was just a slight pinch.The surgery itself was also painless and short. My impacted wisdom teeth could not have been simple to remove, they were in the bone and also near a nerve.But I only ever felt slight pressure, never any pain.And the recovery was incredibly easy. 6 or 7 hours after the morning surgery I felt fine, not perfect, but if it had been required I couldve worked that same night.The staff are also great. It feels personal. I saw no other patient during either of my visits.Highly recommended.

Dr. Dolman is a true artist, he is just fantastic, my experience with Dr. Dolman was great. He and his staff were all incredibly and helpful. I went to get a wisdom tooth removed. There was an initial consultation during which he explained everything and laid out my options. I booked an appointment and in 2 weeks have it removed. On the day of the surgery, I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. The procedure was painless and Dr. Dolman was very patient with me from start to finish.
What a *fantastic* doctor & group of staff!!! From the moment I called to arrange a consult to the checkup appointment after my wisdom teeth removal, Dr. Dolman and his staff treated me with the utmost respect and made it clear that my comfort and care were their top priority. Dr. Dolman is one of the kindest medical care providers Ive ever had. He is thorough and patient; his staff are friendly and responsive. My wisdom tooth extraction recovery process was practically painless, and Dr. Dolman personally checked in on me nearly daily to make sure I was taking proper steps to ensure a quick and comfortable recovery. He was always careful to make sure I understood everything he was telling me before we moved on to what was next. Dr. Dolman is wonderful and the rest of the staff too. I had to take out 4 wisdom teeth, and one of them was extracted. I got a 30 min explanation about my teeth status, recommended treatment, time-frame, cost, and had plenty of time to ask any question I had.On top of all, he is well-experienced, even during the treatment, always making sure I feel comfortable and dont suffer from any pain. Post treatment instructions were clear, detailed and on point. Dr Dolman is the best!!! The whole experience was amazing. The office is beautiful, staff is very friendly and Dr Dolman is the most skilled doctor around. I had a wisdom tooth extraction with NO PAIN. The whole procedure only took 10-15 minutes. He will text you to check up on you and give you advice. He told me if I have any questions I can text him anytime. What other doctor does that? The site healed very quickly with No pain and swelling at all. I’m so pleased with the result! Dr. Dolman simply saved my life. I was having a rare complication (delayed infection) after removing my wisdom tooth by my general dentist. My dentist ignored my pain and swollenness and told me to just wait it out. I decided to get a second opinion. During the consultation, Dr. Dolman was able to tell exactly what needs to be done and I trusted him 100%. The procedure was quick and the recovery was almost painless. Everyone in this office is fantastic. While getting my wisdom teeth out isnt something Id want to do again, Im glad I had such a good experience. Dr. Dolman really made it as quick and painless as possible and we chose what was right for me, and he also was very attentive before and after if I needed any help with prep or recovery. I had three teeth removed by Dr. Dolman for my orthodontic procedure. The experience was one of the greatest out of all dental related experiences I have had. Dr. Dolman is a very skilled and caring doctor and the procedure went very smooth with absolutely no pain. Dr. Dolman also texted me a few times for a week after the surgery to see how I was feeling and assured me he would be available anytime I would need him.Also, when I came in for a follow up, I had my friend with me who happened to have a question about his condition. Dr. Dolman ended up quickly deciding at the site to give him a very thorough complimentary consultation with X-ray. Dr. Dolman is the best doctor I ever met. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and takes very good care of me. I have 4 wisdom teeth and my dentist suggested I should pull out all 4. I was very nervous. Luckily enough, I met Dr. Dolman. After analyzing my x-ray, he explained to me what happened to my teeth, what the potential risk would be, and what the surgery plan would be. I was told only one impacted tooth needed to be pulled out and I felt much more better. Of course, the whole process went really smoothly. I had no pain at all. Prior to the surgery, he sent me emails explaining exactly what I needed to buy and what I needed to do to best prepare for the surgery. The surgery itself felt extremely short (I had full-body anesthesia) and Dr. Dolman made sure I was comfortable the entire time.I had heard horror stories that recovery time was at least a week of pain and chipmunk cheeks. Dr. Dolman did such as a fantastic job, that I had almost no pain or swelling at all. The next day, nobody could believe that I had had my wisdom teeth extracted the previous day. Dr. Dolman is very caring and kind, and he made sure to communicate with me through text and email to ask about my recovery and answer any questions I may have had. He is extremely experienced and genuinely cares about his patients. I would strongly recommend Dr. Dolman.

Amazing experience at Doctor Dolmans clinic. He was so kind and professional from the beginning to the end. I had a difficult surgery, wisdom tooth removal but my jaw was unable to open. I still dont know how Dr Dolman managed to remove it without me feeling anything. The following days after the surgery the doctor was continuesly checking on me by text and email, through Christmas. Dr Dolman and his team are amazing! When I went to the consultation, he was very clear and detailed about all the options for taking out your wisdom teeth. I was terrified of getting them out but decided to get all four out with the needle asleep because don’t want to go through it twice. I fell asleep and next thing I knew I was done. All 4 like he said took about an hour. The instructions before and after were super clear and Dr Dolman was always available for questions any time and followed up on progress. The procedure, I did not feel any pain after. It was only a little bit uncomfortable and hard to eat but that’s the normal process. I didn’t need to use any pain killers. If wisdom teeth regrew on its own, I would definitely come back to Dr Dolman and his team to take them out again. Everyone is super nice in the office and will make you feel relaxed.

I came to Dr Dolman after seeing another oral surgeon who told me that I had to get all of my wisdom teeth extracted with little explanation. In complete contrast, Dr Dolman spent a whopping 40 minutes with me for an initial consultation, explaining everything about why he recommended I only get two removed and everything that I should be prepared for. I left the consultation with complete and absolute trust in Dr Dolmans expertise. Within an hour of leaving his office, the lovely Patient Care Coordinator Velissa sent me a breakdown of the estimated cost for me to consider - which ended up being much lower than I expected even though my insurance was out-of-network.On the day of my surgery, my boyfriend was given a private room to work in while I was having my wisdom teeth extracted. I opted for IV sedation and I couldnt have been happier with my experience. I felt comfortable and in good hands from the very beginning, and all of his staff are so wonderful and kind.Dr Dolman insisted that my boyfriend texted him at his personal phone number when we got home. He then texted again later in the evening to check up on me and make sure all was okay, and every couple of days after too.I could not recommend Dr Dolman and his staff enough. It is so evident that he cares so much about the comfort of his patients and that he takes very good care of them. Thank you Dr Dolman for such a great experience!
The loveliest experience I’ve had with a dental professional to date. My extraction was fast and painless. The entire staff is efficient and friendly and personable. I have already recommended Dr D to two of my friends! No hesitations about sending someone here. Most of all, he really listens to what patients want. I felt strongly no general anesthesia for what was an easy removal and the other oral surgeon I went to first insisted on it. I’m so glad I trusted my gut and searched out Dr. D as an alternative!!

At the first appointment, Dr. Dolman went out of his way to get to know me as a person and make sure I felt informed about my situation and empowered to make the best decision about my teeth. He also stepped into the waiting room and introduced himself to my partner, and made sure he answered all of her questions about my procedure and post-surgery care as well. Leading up to the surgery, Dr. Dolman was in touch to provide me with all the information Id need for the procedure. On the day of the procedure, he was kind and did everything possible to make me feel calm, cared for, and comfortable. Dr. Dolman followed up with me via text every single day following my surgery to make sure I was comfortable, and fielded all of my questions as my body went through the healing process quickly and carefully--even on the weekend! While getting your wisdom teeth taken out is never pleasant, I never experienced the chipmunk cheeks or weird gum holes that I had heard so many people complain about. I experienced limited pain, was back at work on Monday (after a Thursday morning extraction), and healed quickly--this is all thanks to Dr. Dolmans exceptional work, I am sure.In short, Dr. Dolman is an incredible oral surgeon and an incredibly kind and compassionate care provider. Outstanding care! I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed. I saw the reviews for this office and decided to give it a try. All the reviews were spot on! Dr. Dolman was extremely responsive, very kind (even after I asked him tons of questions) and made this experience quite easy. It was wayyy smoother than I expected. The actual extractions were very quick and used local anesthesia. Afterwards I didn’t have any pain that couldn’t be soothed with ibuprofen. Surprisingly I had no swelling whatsoever at any point, and the sites healed exactly as Dr. Dolman described. He gave me very detailed instructions that were so helpful, and a care package with everything I needed. Best of all he checked in with me multiple times via text after the procedures to ensure I was ok. Also, the office is super clean, organized and they follow strict protocols with special filters to protect their patients from possible COVID-19; it was clear they cared. Overall, wonderful experience and highly recommend. Go here...seriously, you will be very happy!

Dr. Dolman is an excellent Oral Surgeon. I had my upper wisdom teeth removed by him a week ago and throughout the entire procedure I did not feel a thing! At my first appointment, I explained the traumatic experience I had a few years back with a previous oral surgeon that removed my lower wisdom teeth. I told him that the thought of my uppers being removed gave me anxiety because of the awful pain I felt from the other Oral Surgeon. Dr. Dolman explained to me in detail what was going to happen the day of the procedure and it helped me to mentally prepare for my visit. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Dolman made sure I was numb enough and relaxed and did everything necessary to make my experience as pleasant as possible. I felt minimal pain during recovery and he had also reached out to me the second day to make sure I was doing ok. He gave me some tips on how to avoid soreness and how to prevent a dry pocket. I honestly think that my experience with Dr. Dolman has been the best dental experience I have ever had. I will definitely recommend Dr. Dolman to anyone that needs dental work, he is extremely professional and a great person in general.
Google should allow 10 starts because Dr Dolman deserves every one and gold ones to boot!!!I was very scared to have my wisdom tooth extracted because the tooth was close to the nerve which meant there was a risk of permanent numbness/nerve damage.After a consultation and 3D scan Dr Dolman left me feeling confident that he will remove the tooth without serious complications.The surgery went very smoothly and it was painless! Dr Dolman has excellent chair manners. He explained everything before doing it which made me feel very comfortable.I have absolutely no numbness that the other surgeons warned me about. The whole experience was great and Im so glad to have my wisdom tooth out.Dr Dolman not only showed his care and compassion during surgery but he also stayed in touch with me days after to make sure I didnt have any issues and that I was doing the right thing taking care of it.I would definitely go back to him and I highly recommend him! It is quite challenging to summarize my experience in few sentences when it comes to Dr. Dolman and his staff. Dr. Dolman, without a doubt, is the Best oral surgeon in New York , maybe even in the entire country. He is extremely skilled and experienced. Additionally, he is kind and very patient. He would never force any procedure upon you just for an extra dollar. For him customer services/satisfaction is what primary. Before any procedure he would sit down and walk you through the process, he would outline various options to choose from and won’t move forward unless you are 100% comfortable with it. While in surgery, he is very gentle and constantly checking on you to be sure you are comfortable and without pain. He is quick and very precise, truly an amazing doctor. After spending close to two years with him and staff to address my dental problems, never imagined saying goodbye will be that hard. Where do I even begin? I hardly leave reviews but I was extremely compelled to write this one even as I am currently recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. If you need to have your dental procedures done, Doctor Dolman is your man.I’ve had my other wisdom tooth pulled out previously by another dentist which was fine, but Doctor Dolman blew my previous experience out of the water. From his impeccable bedside manner, to his pure surgical skill and expertise, I didn’t feel any pain at all.I had barely finished listening to my second song when he let me know he was finished and I was in so much disbelief that I asked, “You’re done?” to which he just smiled and said yes. It was so quick and painless. His assistant Mio was also fantastic as she was very calming and reassuring. When you’re done they even prepare a bag full of aftercare goods for you that includes ice packs, Tylenol etc.In case the above is not enough to convince you, Doctor Dolman also provides his personal cellphone number for you to reach out to him, which I have done before and after my surgery and he has been nothing but a saint, responding very quickly and promptly. He even texted me hours after my surgery to make sure I was okay.I would highly recommend Doctor Dolman and his team to whoever is looking for an oral surgeon.

I found Dr Dolman on Yelp, he removed my two upper erupted wisdom teeth. It was a great experience with such a gentle, nice and knowledgeable oral surgeon. From my personal experience, I didn’t even get swell or need to take any pain killers, the recovery process was much easier than I thought it would be. His team and front desk lady Velissa are very nice and helpful during the entire process. I will recommend Dr. Dolman without any doubts.
This is by far the best experience I’ve had with any oral surgeon. The service was impeccable. Dr. Dolman is warm, friendly, caring and an amazing person overall who genuinely cares about his patience. For years I delayed getting my wisdom tooth removed because of the fear of permanent nerve damaged. My tooth was severely impacted. Dr. Dolman did an amazing job in removing those worries. He began by providing a very informative lecture on my tooth. He educated me and put aside all my worries by giving different alternatives for approaching my situation. In the end I got it removed because he had reassured me that he will do his very best to make sure that all will be well and this will be a safe procedure. I went through with the procedure. When I came for my appointment Dr. Dolman came to greet my friend who accompanied me and put him in a room with a television and comfortable chair and would update him on what was going on with the procedure. Throughout the procedure he would pause every so often to ask how I was doing, if I was feeling okay, if I was experiencing pain. I was under local anesthesia and experienced zero pain just slight pressure but he would stop if it was uncomfortable for me. It was a quick and painless extraction. He was extremely concerned for my well being. After the procedure I was really worried about the numbness. My lips were numb and I was extremely worried that it wouldn’t go away. He reassured me with great confidence that all will be well. Sure enough the numbness went away and every issue I experienced the following day I would text him and he would respond at a very timely manner. In the end the extraction was a success. The pain and numbness went away and I was extremely relieved. Dr. Dolman gives you his direct number to text him about any concerns you may have. Even when it was late in the night I would text him about all my worries and he would respond right away and helped give me a peace of mind. Went to Dolman Oral Surgery to get my last two wisdom teeth out. Dr. Brecher (AKA Dr. B) did an incredible job. The procedure was quick and painless. I was expecting to be out of commission for the next few days .. my original experience getting my wisdom teeth pulled (By a different Dr. and office) was a nightmare, I was in excruciating pain for a week after my surgery. Not this time! The next day I felt completely fine (Just a little sore). I was shocked - I had no idea what a pleasure it would be having the procedure done by competent and professional Doctor. Ive never left a review before on anything, but felt compelled to do so now. Thats how happy I am with Dr. Brecher. Its tough to find a competent Dentist/Oral Surgeon that you can trust and when you finally come across one its an incredible experience. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I would give Dr. Dolman a million stars if I could!!Dr. Dolman took out 2 of my wisdom teeth about 7 months ago. Starting with my first consultation, Dr. Dolman was nothing but gentle, professional and very thorough with explaining everything I needed to know prior to surgery. I am young and had just moved to NYC when I got my wisdom teeth out and he did a great job of making me feel relaxed and comfortable with all of surgery decisions.Prior to the surgery I had heard a million and a half horrible stories from my friends and family about wisdom teeth removal and how miserable the pain and recovery time is. But after Dr. Dolman took out my teeth (one impacted, one not) I was in almost NO pain. I hardly took any of the pain killers I was given and was back to work 2 days later. It is clear that his gentle personality also carries on into the operating room.After the surgery he also emailed and called me a few times to make sure my recovery was going smoothly. He also gave me his cell number in case of emergency, which made me feel very relaxed!If it was up to me I would have continued my check-ups a few more weeks just to chat with him about healthcare and lifestyle, playing the guitar, etc. He is a great doctor and truly cares about his patients. I cannot recommend Dr. Dolman enough! In my experience, his level of patient care is unmatched. He spent as much time as I needed discussing my options, questions and concerns regarding wisdom teeth extraction. He is always accessible to answer questions and concerns (even when you email him at 4am from London).My procedure was pain free and fast. He enabled me to have 2 teeth removed in an emergency and not miss my family vacation to Europe! I cannot recommend his service highly enough.

I had an incredible experience at Dr. Dolmans office. He extracted all four of my wisdom teeth - my recovery time was much quicker than any of my friends, I didnt swell a bit, and the procedure was completely painless. He clearly cares deeply about his patients experience and anxieties about the procedure - I was completely out and totally comfortable during the procedure, and he texted me every day to check in and make sure I was recovering OK. His office staff are lovely and accommodating as well! I would recommend Dr. Dolman to anyone requiring an oral procedure.
Dr. Dolman is above all else a gentleman.I came to Dr. Dolman to have a wisdom tooth removed. He was the third surgeon a came to about removing it. I was fearful because it was below the gum line and close to a nerve.During my first visit, the doctor reasoned through the procedures that the other surgeons had recommended. He took the time to explain to me the details of why the procedure was difficult and two others had turned it away. He let me decide what to do based on my comfort level. He really looks out for your health and comfort above all else.His office is also outstanding. It was recently built in February so everything is new and immaculately clean. I cannot recommend Dr. Dolman enough. Even if its just for a consultation, you should do it. Hes an excellent doctor and really makes you feel like a friend is taking care of your health rather than a doctor making a living.
This is the best dentist Ive ever met. My friend recommended me here. I removed 4 wisdom teeth at once and no bleeding after the surgical. Amazing job. Dr Brecher and Dolman Oral Surgery we’re phenomenal. My daughter needed her lower wisdom teeth extracted. She is super particular. We had consultations at two other oral surgeons—she refused to have them pulled by these doctors. We had heard great things about Dr Brecher and Dolman and from the minute we entered the office she was put at ease. Dr Brecher explained everything to her. After the extraction Dr Brecher stayed with her and answered any questions. The staff was so attentive and friendly. It didn’t end with the surgery. I had gotten 3 other oral surgeon consultations before finally meeting with Dr Dolman, after a friend recommended him(she had also gotten a dental implant by him).He didnt push. He didnt rush. He kindly and patiently explained all my options, asked me to go see an endodontist to make sure that a tooth extraction and dental implant was the absolute last resort. Other oral surgeons asked me to book a surgery right that second.Ive been at this practice for almost 2 years now and I can say hands down, he is the most generous, kind, and helpful doctors I have ever known. Everyone at the practice is so kind, nice, and genuine. During the surgeries, Dr Dolman almost meditatively talks you through the typically unpleasant parts of any dental visit (novacain needle, etc etc), always cautious about pain and how youre feeling. I only wish my regular dentist could be Dr D!!! This review doesnt do enough to tell you how amazing this practice is.

I had a great experience with Dr Dolman and I highly r recommend his practice.I had a really bad impacted tooth seating on the nerve and was a really high risk surgery but he did a great work and was able to remove my wisdom tooth and th huge cyst that form on top of the tooth.Recovery was good with some pain but is expected due to be a huge surgery but I was able to get back to work in a week.Something very important to mention, Dr Dolamn follow up daily with me to know how I was doing and making sure I was recovery well, I never had a doctor who text you from his personal phone and he does all the following up and not his assistant, he is the best Dr I went too no doubt.
I was not very happy when I heard the news that I needed to get my two bottom wisdom teeth removed. I heard many great things about Dr. Dolman and when I arrived at the office for my initial consultation his lovely assistant informed me I needed a CT scan and to my surprise I did not have to go to a third party facility because it could be done in the office; the day of my appointment and even beforehand Dr. Dolman had laid everything out for me by letting me know what he felt would be best to do before and after the procedure.He explains everything before he does it just to make sure you understand the process and to make you feel more comfortable. He is a wonderful Oral Surgeon a true artist in his field. He has followed up with me even after my extraction just to make sure that Im okay and that everything went well. As superficial and improbable having so many five stars reviews may seem, I just got cared for by Dr. Dolman and his team, and also Ive nothing but praises for them.I had two impacted wisdom teeth, which were fairly close to the nerves too, and one of them had cavity. Needles to say, I wanted my treatment done by someone I can completely trust, and this office seemed ideal. This review will be a bit big, but Im breaking it down into pieces (just like my wisdom teeth):The Consultation: I initially went by their office in January, but since I was actively wearing Invisalign back then, Dr. Dolman told me to get back to him once Im done, since thatd make for a more comfortable experience for me. This is where Id like to add, that before going to him I went to another oral surgeon (recommended by my general dentist), who told me I should get rid of the teeth asap. Even the price quoted here, was much better than the other place. I found Dr. Dolmans practice to be very honest, which is a rare find.The Procedure: I took Dr. Dolmans advice, and went back for removal of the teeth in June. I opted with Nitrogen Oxide (NO). Medicines were sent to pharmacy of my choice a day earlier, so I had everything handy. My bf and I were given a private room to rest, while my medicines were kicking in. The procedure went smoothly, with Dr. Dolman and his assistant being extremely attentive to my responses the whole time. There was no rush, I was given all the time I needed. It almost felt like I was the only person they were looking after, and all attention was on me.The Recovery: this is perhaps the worst phase of wisdom teeth removal, and unavoidable depending on the case. But Dr. Dolman was always a text away. The second morning I woke up with more pain, and before I even messaged him, he texted me - which basically felt like a forecast, and frankly very reassuring. A little over week later, now, Ive no pain, no nerve damage (which I was afraid off), and Im eating normally. I did have another check-up appointment with him, and he assured everything looks good.tl;dr: In conclusion, Dr. Dolmans office is definitely one of the most honest and caring (also very hip) practices that Ive come across in the city, and Ill 100% recommend him to anyone whos in need of an oral surgeon. All these five star reviews, in this instance are not too good to be true.

Dr. Dolman was great at explaining his plan and made sure I understood all aspects. I had a 12 year molar and a wisdom tooth removed at the same time. I was a little uneasy going in but he assured me I wouldnt feel any pain during the surgery. He was right. It was faster than I thought and before I knew it, he said we are done. He was generous with his time and contacted me in the evening to see how I was doing. A few days after surgery I was bleeding after I decided to eat some solids. It was after normal business hours, I emailed to ask his advice and he responded almost immediately. His advice resolved the issue. Dr. Dolman even followed up a few hours afterwards. I had my impacted wisdom teeth surgically removed by Dr Dolman on 1-15-18, something Ive been avoiding for the past 15 years. Hes by far the most professional and skilled dentist Ive ever met. His staff is also high level and make me feel calm, safe and comfortable all the time. He sits you down, turns on the big TV screen, and gives you a point by point understanding of your upcoming procedure. His offices are modern and high-tech, as if you just entered the star trek enterprise. The staff is really attentive and makes sure youre at ease and taken care of. The experience, doesnt stop at the offices. Once a procedure is over, you receive a nice little care package with instructions and expectations of your recovery (including some natural remedies). Dr. Dolman is hand down the best medical practitioner I have ever dealt with. Getting teeth removed is not usually labeled a good experience but he actually made it one. After years of avoiding having my wisdom teeth removed, the time came that I had no other choice but to take them out. I went to Dr. Dolman on the recommendation from a friend and about 5 minutes in I knew I was in the right hands. He was very detailed in informing me about the procedure, my options, the risks, the pre-work and my homework for afterward. We didnt proceed until he knew I was well informed and comfortable with the treatment I was receiving. He checked in with me after the procedure via text and made sure I was healing well and feeling comfortable. His bedside manner is incomparable to anyone in the medical field. The procedure and healing was fast and pain free because of the detailed way he guided me in taking the correct medications and after care treatment. I cannot recommend Dr. Dolman enough!
I was provided truly exceptional care by Dr. Dolman. He immediately put all of my concerns to rest when getting my wisdom teeth out, and as someone who gets very nervous/anxious about anything medical, I had a lot of them. The procedure went quickly, and perfectly. During my consultation and before the actual removal, Dr. Dolman took his time to explain every aspect thoroughly, and answered every single question with consideration and care. His bedside manner is fantastic and professional.He is genuine, and cares for his patients like family members. Dr. Dolman made himself available post-procedure, and checked in multiple times even without request to make sure I was recovering and healing properly. My experience with Dr. Dolman was excellent in every aspect. I contacted him via email when I was experiencing pain near one of my wisdom teeth and I could not believe that he took the time to reply personally to my email explaining that it was most likely an infection based on the symptoms I described. I then scheduled a consult in which Dr. Dolman explained in a clear and non-rushed manner that it made sense to extract the wisdom tooth since it had caused a problem and could cause more problems in the future. Dr. Dolman did not try to pressure me into getting any of my other wisdom teeth removed since they were not causing any problems at the time. I opted to have only the problematic tooth removed to minimize recovery time.I had heard so many horror stories about wisdom teeth extractions that I was a bit anxious about it. I opted for local anesthesia because I preferred to be awake during the procedure and was surprised by how smooth and straightforward the procedure was. I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure, and after the procedure I had absolutely no swelling and only very minor pain. Given that my wisdom tooth was partially impacted, I think that this speaks for Dr. Dolmans superior skill as an oral surgeon.Dr. Dolman went the extra mile and checked on me via text on the day of the procedure and a few days later to make sure everything was going well, and he promptly answered all my questions. This level of personal attention is very rare in my experience and I think it speaks for Dr. Dolmans genuine concern for his patients.About a year later, I had minor pain with another wisdom tooth, so I opted to visit Dr. Dolman again and he recommended an extraction. This time it was even less painful that the previous one. It was as if nothing had happened to me. Again, Dr. Dolman went the extra mile every step of the way.In conclusion, I was extremely happy with the attention and treatment I received from Dr. Dolman and his staff, and I am happy to see that so many other people have provided a testimony of his excellent service. I cannot recommend him enough!
I cant speak highly enough about Dr. Dolman and his staff, especially Alex and Velissa. Ive been a patient for years with multiple procedures, including extractions, bone grafts and dental implants. They truly care about their patients. At one point I was unable to pay up front for a procedure and Dr. Dolman called me personally to offer a financial arrangement set up by the staff so I could get the care I needed. I was almost sad to walk out of his office for the last time! As most of the other reviews say, him and his staff are skilled, professional and all around fantastic.
He truly cares for his patients. Three days after having my teeth extracted, he texts me for progress and updates that are normally expected. He does take good care of you. :)) Cant wait to see my results with Invisalign.

There are no good enough words to describe the experience I had with Dr. D. He and his staff are simply amazing. I postponed my wisdom teeth removal for 5 years, because it was truly my biggest fear - to the point that my teeth were causing me a lot of pain. Since the initial appt, Dr. Dolman made me feel extremely calm and confident in his work. On the day of the surgery, I could not believe it: it was the quickest and nicest experience, I almost want to do it again haha. Literally no pain, I didnt even realize anything was going on, it was so peaceful, and I left there in great shape. The aftermath was as easy as it gets too - because the surgery went so perfectly, I had no complications. I had almost no pain at all, and my cheeks were barely swollen. And, listen, I tend to freak out a lot with health related things, so I would text Dr. Dolman with the smallest issues after the surgery, and he would reply so fast and so thoughtful. In the end, you get a follow-up visit when he will tell you that all looks well, because theres no other way with his talent. I couldnt recommend Dr. Dolman and his staff enough, you will be in great hands!
Dr. Dolman could not have been more professional. I had two impacted wisdom teeth, and went to him for an initial consultation. He explained three different possible procedures, in laymans terms, answered all of my questions, and ensured the entire process would be simple and completed in a timely fashion. Although we initially agreed that only the impacted teeth were a necessity to remove, I ultimately decided it would be better to have all four extracted. Dr. Dolman complied, without trying to persuade me that it should not be done. His entire staff, from Velissa the receptionist to Alex the tech, acted with profound professionalism. After the procedure, Dr. Dolman was still offering his support, providing his personal phone number to contact with any questions or concerns or in the event of an emergency, even after business hours. Although there was no emergency, during the healing process I experienced discomfort in one of the extraction locations. Without hesitation, Dr. Dolman insisted I stopped by the office... the same day!Needless to say, Dr. Dolman and his entire staff ensured the entire procedure from initial contact to final visit went as best as it could have under such circumstances. I encourage all future patients to utilize his practice as you will not regret it.
I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and the procedure with Dr. Dolman was painless and easy! He explained everything in detail beforehand and was available 24h/7 to answer any of my concerns after the procedure. Personally I experienced some pain 48h later but its normal! I don’t know where to start for this extraordinary experience I had at the office of Dr. Dolman. As a kid I never took care of my teeth, so growing old I realized that I have a lot of work to do to keep myself healthy. One of my major issues was a chronicle problem I had from a root canal. A cyst was growing in the bone of my palate and it was causing me many issues, like bad taste, headaches etc etc. one day I visited a dentist and he said that I have to remove that cyst because the problem it’s gonna expand and that cyst will pierce my scull. I was mortified! After a research I did, I found Dolman’s office. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable about the procedure, the doctor himself called me the day before to ask me how I feel.. Finally I removed the cyst in the blink of an eye. A painless procedure, the most gentle hands in the field I believe. The doctor kept in touch with me after the procedure to check up on me, how I feel, how I heal, what I should eat, what I shouldn’t etc etc. this office is a true gem! Worth every penny. Don’t wait, this is the right doctor!

Im not typically a writer of reviews, but this one is very well-deserved. A couple years ago, I found myself in a position where I needed SIX teeth (four wisdom teeth and two molars) removed. This tapped into some of my deepest phobias. So naturally, I ignored the issue for longer than was healthy. When I truly couldnt put it off for a moment longer, I went to Dr. Dolman. He was never judgmental. He talked through every one of my concerns in a way that was clear but not condescending. His staff was so kind and accommodating it nearly made this jaded New Yorker suspicious. And when the whole ordeal was done, I can tell you that after two smooth surgeries, I experienced very minimal swelling and barely any pain or discomfort. Before I went to him, I read the slew of good reviews and thought there must be some catch. But now, here I am writing one. Do yourself a favor and go to Dolman Oral Surgery. Youll be glad you did.
I had been told by numerous doctors over the years that I would need to get my wisdom teeth out but avoided surgery like the plague. I finally took the plunge with Dr. Dolman after hearing raving (and deserving) reviews of both his service and also hands on approach to care after surgery. I had 2 very impacted wisdom teeth removed, that were high risk because their roots were close to the nerve in my jawbone. Im also over the hill (27) for when wisdom teeth cases should be handled, which complicated an already complicated situation.The night before the surgery, he sent a long email of all things I should have on hand in my home to make the post surgery process as comfortable and smooth as possible. The day of the surgery, he let me listen to D Angelo (my favorite artist!) while the surgery commenced. I felt very comfortable and secure in his care. Post surgery, I had some serious pain due to my sockets getting dry and being exposed to cold air, and he immediate responded to any emails, texts or calls given and saw me numerous times to work through the pain. I had no issues with recovery and mark this as the best experience Ive had with ANY doctor over the years. The reviews are true, Dr. Dolman is a real gem and a leader in the medical field in terms of both expertise and aftercare. Go to him!!!

Dr. Dolmans office and practice gets five big stars from us: my son had four wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Dolman spent a good deal of time preparing him, managing our expectations, accommodating our schedule, and ultimately the surgery could not have been more routine. He shared his personal cell phone and checked in often to see how healing was progressing and answered every little question we had afterwards. Highly responsive office and doctor; highly recommended.
I had four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Dolman. Before the surgery he was careful to make sure that I was informed and prepared. I asked a lot of questions by email and text message, and he always replied within minutes. The surgery itself took less than an hour. Dr. Dolman made sure that I was comfortable throughout, and I never felt any pain (I had requested to have the surgery with local anesthesia only). After only two hours after the surgery, the feeling in my face was back to normal. On the day after the surgery I was feeling quite good, and I went back to work the day after. At one point I developed a small sore on the inside of my cheek, so I asked Dr. Dolman about it and he immediately called in a prescription for an ointment that completely resolved the issue.He is communicative and accommodating with his patients, and he gets the job done masterfully. Ill definitely be keeping Dr. Dolman as my oral surgeon and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Perfect 5 stars for Dr Dolman. I was referred to Dr Dolman for wisdom tooth removal from my primary care. My summer was packed solid so I needed someone that could get this surgery done quickly and efficiently. From my first appointment, Dr. Dolman took the time to get to know me as a person to get a better feel for how the surgery would take place. He could tell that I was anxious to get this over with as soon as possible with a busy New York schedule. We were able to schedule the surgery for a Thursday morning. In the weeks prior to surgery, Dr. Dolman was available by email or phone to answer any questions that I might. The day of surgery he took the time to introduce himself to my mom and explain everything about how the surgery would go. Dr Dolman explained every step of the way from the anesthesia to how he would preform the surgery. Of course, the surgery went as smooth as possible and Dr Dolman made sure to check in with me regularly about meds, pain, swelling, etc for the next few days. He was always available, even on the weekend, to answer questions about when I could exercise, what I could eat, and anything else you might think of. A week out of surgery at the follow up appointment, all questions were answered again. Dolman Oral Surgery was one of the most professional offices I have visited and I would highly recommend Dr Dolman to anyone that needs any sort of Oral surgery or dental work.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Brecher and the Dolman team -- I am beyond pleased with their professionalism and ability to make me feel completely at ease. This was my 3rd attempt to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled -- I had tried previously at other oral surgeons and ended up fainting both times. My experience with Dr. Brecher was like night and day. I have a huge phobia of needles, but Dr. Brecher helped me feel very comfortable after we carefully went through a plan together to ease my fears, my anxiety and ensure I was relaxed every step of the way. I contacted Dr. Dolman to have my wisdom teeth removed. I called his office on a Wednesday saying I was in major pain and by that afternoon I had already spoken to Dr. Dolman over text and the phone and they had me scheduled for an appointment that week. Once I got there he was extremely professional and took time to explain all my options and never rushed out appointments. From that point he did the surgery and it was nothing like I expected. I had relatively no pain or swelling and was up and fully active the next day. While I was healing Dr. Dolman would check in on me via text message and was always open to me shooting him a quick text asking questions. The fact that he was so accessible took all the anxiety out of the process and made it incredibly smooth. I highly recommend him and his team.

This place is amazing. I saw Dr. Brecher and he was honest from the get go about what needed to be done and didnt sugar coat anything. He also followed up with me after the surgery to make sure I was feeling okay. If I had to do oral surgery again I would definitely choose him again. Their patients well-being is a definitely a priority! Dont think about it twice if youre looking for a place for your oral surgery.

Dr Dolman is absolutely the best there is. Three big reasons come to mind: First, Dr Dolmans skill is simply amazing. I felt no pain whatsoever in my wisdom tooth extraction. In fact, the procedure was done in literally two minutes, before I even realized that we started! Second, Dr Dolman takes such a special interest in getting to know his patients that it feels like hes your long-time friend! Thats awesome. The third and most important reason is his sense of responsibility as a doctor. He gave me his cell so that I can always reach him. I once texted him while he was on vacation and he responded right away! As someone in the medical profession myself, I can say that what Dr Dolman does for his patient is absolutely top notch, and very rare among doctors. You will be in the best of hands with Dr Dolman.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Dolman and Dr. Brecher. Dr. Brecher performed my wisdom teeth extraction a little before everything shut down due to COVID-19. During my recovery period, I developed an infection and he was very accessible via text message. We were able to figure it out and now everything is back to normal, minus those troublesome teeth. Appreciate their attentiveness, professionalism, and skill. I highly recommend them both.
Dr. Dolman did an amazing job on a tooth that I needed to have extracted. During the consultation, he walked me through the options that I had for the procedure and the pros and cons of each. He also talked to me about what might happen during the procedure and how we would handle each of those scenarios. He was thorough and paused frequently to ensure that I understood and didn’t have outstanding questions. On the day of the procedure, he and his team were warm, thorough, and expedient. They sent me home with everything I needed for the healing process and Dr. Dolman texted me that evening to make sure things were going well. He provided me a number to call if anything seemed off. I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr.Dolman three weeks ago. The procedure was very quick and comfortable. He took time explain to me what went wrong with my teeth and what need to be done to fix them. He called me the same day after surgery to make sure everything is ok with me. The practice also provide check up one week after to make sure your recovery went well without extra cost. Dr. Dolman has many good old values this country use to have but hard to find now. Highly recommended.
Dr Dolman goes above and beyond for his patients. I was immediately put at ease during my consultation and that only continued during and post procedure. Every member of his staff is warm, welcoming and organized. They were very accommodating of my complicated schedule. It’s hard to overstate how positive my experience was. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and the office makes excellent use of technology. 2022-03-23During my annual dental checkup, my Long Island City dentist observed that my wisdom teeth were causing some cavity concerns and recommended that all four teeth be removed expeditiously. New to the city, I was referred to Dolman Oral Surgery, and I am so thankful for the suggestion! From my first appointment, I felt immediately at ease with Dr. Dolman. He was efficient, thorough, and kind. He carefully drafted a care plan that took my prior dental and medical histories into consideration and patiently answered each of my questions. I felt immensely comfortable with his entire office and was able to schedule my extraction for approximately one week after my initial consultation.On the day of my extraction, from prep to discharge, the entire procedure took just a bit over an hour to complete. Dr. Dolman and his assistant worked efficiently and precisely, much like they were performing a ballet. I experienced no pain, no anxiety, and incredulously said “that was it?” when told that we were all set and done! Following my procedure and short drive home, I received hourly follow-up texts from Dr. Dolman himself to ensure that my recovery was progressing as anticipated. I have never experienced such thoughtful care and knowing that my surgeon was only a text away made my recovery a supremely pleasant experience.While no one is ever wildly psyched to have their wisdom teeth removed, Dolman Oral Surgery went far above and beyond to ensure that my experience was first rate. Should you find yourself in need of wisdom tooth extraction or any other oral surgery, I cannot imagine that you will find a more wonderful office in the five boroughs!

2022-08-29I would highly recommend Dr. Robert Dolman for any oral surgery needs!He was AMAZING!I got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed, and if I’ll ever need to remove the other two I’m definitely going to come back.I was invited to come by the office the day before the surgery for consultation and to discuss what will happen the next day.At the entrance I was greeted by a lovely young lady,and not even a minute later Dr dolman personally came to the waiting area to welcome me, he was very friendly and very professional.I had an X-ray on the spot and after that dr Dolman showed me it,explained what’s going to happen the next day and answered all my other questions.The surgery itself was painless and fast, I was in and out in about an hour.I have received prescriptions for antibiotics, probiotics, pain medication, nausea medication, as well as a small kit for self care for the area of the surgery.In addition I got great papers with well explained information and instructions for self treatment the first days after the procedure.Another thing that I loved about Dr Dolman is the after visit care,I got from the doctor his personal phone number and I was told to feel free to contact him whenever I need to.The thing about Dr dolman is that he actually means it as oppose to other clinic places I have been to before.Dr Dolman answered any question I had,and texted me around every other day to ask me about how do I fell and advise me on any questions I had.If you are in need of an oral surgeon this is the BEST place for outstanding dental care with highly qualified professional staff!

2022-07-15Dr. Dolman removed one of my wisdom teeth shortly after I just had another removed by a different clinic. The difference was stark— the surgery and anesthesia administration was so much smoother with Dr. Dolman. The experience was also consistent. I had two additional teeth removed by Dr. Dolman after my first, and the surgery was similar to the first time. Overall, the surgeries were quite painless and very efficient (only a few minutes with the metal tools inside my mouth, as opposed to other surgeons). Dr. Dolman was also great about following up about how well the wounds were healing post-surgery. Would definitely recommend Dr. D!!

2022-08-21I had the best experience at Dolman Oral Surgery!! Dr. Dolman provided me with the highest level of care. He was so kind and caring during the entire process. Post-op he sent text messages to check in. The entire staff is exceptional!! Im so grateful that I was able to have my procedure done at this office. I will never forget the level of care, kindness and support I received. It truly made Dr. Dolman stand out from the crowd!

2022-09-13Dr Dolman is the most caring medical professional I ever met. Tooth extraction is very scary experience for most of us, however if you need to do one, his office is the place to go. Dr. Dolman will explain in detail the steps, preparation and he makes sure the procedure is done without the pain and discomfort. His staff is very nice and professional. They made me feel better the way they care. I highly recommend him.

2022-08-31The absolutely best both professionally and personally my family has ever experienced from a Dental Surgeon! I wish all medical professionals were given a course called the Dr. Dolman to teach how to incorporate professional acumen with creating a truly caring experience for the patient. We were recommended to Dr. Dolman by our family Dentist and flew my son from Texas to Dr. Dolmans. Thats how serious we take our dental care: and so does Dr. Dolman: the office staff are lovely and calming, the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable, (I was given the mom seat while Dr. Dolman explained the entire procedure and the follow up care to us) and how many positive adjectives can I use in one sentence?? His manner put us at ease immediately, he speaks clearly and directly, and the extractions were done the next day in less than an hour. He has given us written and verbal instructions, he has been in touch with my son to ensure all is well and that we would feel comfortable with every (even the smallest) question we had. Words can not express our appreciation enough: thank you for making this procedure so positive for us!

From the initial consultation to post-op, Dr. Dolman and his staff ensures that their patients are safe, comfortable, and knowledgeable about the procedure. The office goes above and beyond when it comes to COVID-19 precautions, as they have air purifiers in every room.Additionally, there is constant communication with Dr. Dolman and his staff as they respond to questions quickly and thoughtfully before, during, and after the procedure. He provides detailed written pre and post-op instructions, a care package to use during the healing process, and contacts you 24-48 hours after the procedure to see how you are feeling/doing.He truly cares for his patients, which is exemplified through his work. I highly recommend Dr. Dolman to anyone who is looking for an oral surgeon in the NYC area.

2022-06-14Dr Dolman is skilled, professional and engaged with his patients. His office staff are great and the office itself is very clean and up to date. I had multiple wisdom teeth extracted. The procedure was super fast and his pre and post-op instructions were detailed and clear. I felt I was in the best hands. The most important part is Dr Dolman’s follow-up. He checks in directly with you and is available via direct messaging for post-op questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Dr Dolman.

2022-04-15Dr. Dolman and his team went above and beyond to make me feel so comfortable and supported throughout my entire wisdom teeth removal process. I never felt rushed during the initial appointment - Dr. Dolman took his time to explain his diagnosis, next steps, what I should expect in the coming weeks. After the extraction, he followed up almost daily for the first week and checked in a couple times afterwards to make sure I had no pain. He always responded so quickly if I had any question regardless of what time of day or week it was. Could not recommend him enough!
