Absolutely phenomenal job over at this shop. Had to get my rear bumper fixed on a Tesla and Victor helped me through the process. Had everything from the rental vehicle to the parts ordered and all.Through the entire process he was super cool and mitigated any issues that came up. He kept me in the loop and the turnaround was a day earlier than planned. He’s totally legit and def a valuable asset in this shop. All the folks actually from Victor to Maya (I think that’s her name) were professional and excellent. Even helped look at my front hood for a fix. Above and beyond. I would absolutely come back here - though I hope I wouldn’t have to.
Excellent service performed in a timely manner. I have now taken two different vehicles here and Im very happy with both the work done and the professional attitude and help from Victor.
Aiden worked on my car and they did an amazing job. They kept in communication with me and made my process super quick and easy. My car sometimes has a difficult time getting parts and they were quick and easy. My looks amazing and you wouldn’t know that I got into an accident.
Don Joe Auto did a phenomenal job on my auto repair. My contact Greg Hill was excellent from initial drop off until vehicle pickup. He kept in touch with me throughout the repair process and made me feel like a valued customer. The repair work was perfect and was even done more than a week earlier than expected. After I was rear ended I brought my Tesla here to be fixed. Victor was great and took care of everything from start to finish. There was clear communication about all the steps involved in the process. They work with enterprise so my rental was waiting for me when I dropped off the car. Victor completed the work in the time he told me it would take (maybe even a day early) and my car looks brand new. I would not hesitate to use them again!
My QX80 was rear ended, while stopped in traffic, about a week ago. Frustrating as it was to deal with the accident, I knew finding that right body repair shop was just as important.There are plenty of body shops that can “do” repairs but Don Joe Auto Body takes it up a notch, if not, to a level above everyone else.Once I arrived around 830am, I was greeted by Greg. He was very professional, courteous and detailed in explaining how the process would be in repairing my suv. Since Don Joe is an affiliated Geico repair shop, it made things a bit easier too in obtaining a rental. Rob from Enterprise dropped off my rental at Don Joe and he too, was just as professional and courteous.Later that afternoon, I received a call from Greg. The shop had already removed the damaged parts and inspected for additional damages. I was told less than a week for the repairs. Sure enough, my suv was ready for pickup at the estimated date and it looked flawless. Their service and repair work is truly above and beyond.
My car was damaged by a shopping cart leaving a deep dent in the front passenger door that was to deep for paintless dent removal. I had to go through the process of filing a claim with my insurance and I am happy I chose Don Joes body shop to get my repairs done. Greg helped me out when I arrived he looked at the damage and got me into my rental car within a few minutes. Throughout the process he was in contact with me and kept me updated on what was going. Originally what was thought to be a 4 to 6 day job because of issues with some parts turned out to be a 2 and a half day job. When I arrived to pick up my car it was ready just like he said. Looked brand new like I just bought it. They washed and cleaned my car inside and out. The guys at Don Joes did an excellent job on the repair and I am happy happy there service
Outstanding service and professionalism. A snow plow wrecked the trunk on my new Tesla Model S. I brought it to Don Joe where Victor assessed the damage. He knew exactly what needed to be done. He put me at ease immediately. He coordinated everything with the Insurance Company and he did an expert job repairing the damage. Victor got my car back to me way before I expected. No delays. No excuses. Just a terrific job. And he detailed the car for me at no cost. It actually looks better now than it did when I first bought it! Thank you so much!
TL;DR Highly recommended, they go above and beyond and wont disappoint.Normally I am wary of auto body repair shops BUT I highly recommend Don Joe. My car was rear-ended and I chose Don Joe because of all the google reviews, plus it was a Geico Auto Repair Xpress location. Aiden took a look at the damage and immediately told me what had to be done and the time frame we were working with. He inspired a lot of confidence while talking about the various stages of the repairs. When I was able to pick up my car, not only were they a week ahead of schedule, but they had detailed the car inside and out. The only time my car looked newer was when I first drove it off the lot! The paint matched perfectly, the panel gaps were as good as new, and almost a month later I still have NO PROBLEMS with it. They even vacuumed and threw away the garbage inside my car (even tucked the spare tire underneath the trunk, nice and neat). I HIGHLY recommend Don Joe and will be going back for my future auto body needs.
My Tesla was keyed , excellent paint job . Car looks brand new . Car was ready on time. Hopefully I won’t need their services again but definitely would come back again.
I’ve been using Don Joe for a few years now. It’s the only place I trust to work on my car. They treat you like family and they do the job right. They are also quick and don’t have you stranded and confused while you have no idea what’s going on with your car and repairs. I’ve taken all my leased cars to them and am happy with their services.
I went to Don Joe Auto Body because someone hit my Tesla from the back. Victor walked me through the whole process. He got my car fixed and ready before the promised time which was phenomenal. He ALSO washed and detailed my car at no extra cost, updated the software on my car, fixed my tint that was peeling AND polished out a scratch I had all at no extra charge. These guys are amazing! I highly recommend them!
My Tesla Model 3 came back *better* than new. When I first got the car, I had paint correction and a ceramic coat installed right away, and it looked great, as a new car should. However, after a hit and run driver ruined my quarter panel, I took it to Don Joe, and they not only fixed the damaged area to new condition, they fixed some panel misalignments the car had when it was delivered to me new. Amazing!While any Tesla Authorized repair center should do a great job fixing a Tesla, Victor and his team went the extra mile in more ways than I can count. To highlight a few:*Dealt with low ball estimate from my insurance company (I did not have to pay extra from my pocket)*Was able to schedule car repair for minimal downtime (car was drivable, so repair happened when it was least inconvenient to be without my car).*Repaired panel gap and other minor fit and finish issues from Tesla factory.*Kept me well informed on repair a status and completed it EARLY!*Changed out my winter tires//wheels free of charge, and even washed and allowed my winter tires to dry before carefully putting them in my tire totes for safe storage.*Took care to return a serviceable damaged parts for me to keep. Now I have an extra (cosmetically flawed) wheel for a spare tire (nice!)I am super happy with the whole process, and should I ever need work on my car again, I would definitely use them, for both a self-pay or insurance covered repair.Highly recommended.
Excellent job repairing my Audi sedan after being rear-ended. Good communication throughout. Being a Geico express center made everything easy re the insurance coverage. Parts were delayed, but seems no fault of Don Joes, as the manufacturer had them on backorder - great communication and updates throughout. They worked seamlessly with Enterprise for rental car pickup and drop off on site. Definitely recommend.

Repaired here after someone hit and run my car. I was very frustrated, but this shop made the claim and repair process very streamlined and hassle-free. Employees are very professional. They dont have organization in the place. They were a family owned business but Church Hill LLC to them over & is running it like a corporation.
This place is more than 5 stars when it comes to the process of getting your car fixed or detailed. This is my second time going back to this place. The first time, they fixed my car like it was brand new. The second times arrived, the young lady named Stephanie was the first person I interacted with. She was friendly and said hello as soon as I arrived. The owner Jorge (pardon the spelling) recognized who I was after a long time and welcome be back. I am pretty sure they have customers all the time but it was impressive they remembered who I was. The initial process took less than 10 minutes and it was very easy. I was placed in a rental at their location and drove away all within 15 minutes. Jorge went over the damages and was polite, professional, and direct with the entire process so I knew what to expect. I called a few times all day due to other issues but the young lady Stephanie each time was polite and patient with my questions. I am so glad I was referred to this location because the whole process can be costly and cause worry but I left feeling confident and my car was deep cleaned which was a nice surprise. Thank you Don Joe Auto Body team for making this whole process stress free!
They repaired the damage to my car and took the time to clean the inside of my car thoroughly as well as the trunk! I was very pleasantly surprised, My beige interior of the car was dirty from winter usage and they took the time to clean it.I would highly recommend this body shop to everyone.Their service was prompt and on time
The team at Don Joe were highly professional and extremely attentive. Victor, my Don Joe representative, made what I originally thought would be a very stressful and aggregative experience to have body work done as a result of an accident, nothing short of easy and painfree. They coordinated directly with my insurance provider, kept me updated throughout the process, and even arranged for my rental car to be ready and available to me at the time of my original drop-off.
I brought my car to the Tesla Service Center at the beginning of December for an issue with the front suspension. After fixing the vehicle, there was an incident at the service center: a forklift punctured my front bumper. The service center notified me of the incident and took full responsibility, stating that they would fix the issue, and that since their authorized repair center would be doing the repairs it would have no impact on the value of my vehicle.Fast forward over a month later to when my car was finally ready... imagine my frustration when I see my car and the front bumper is completely misaligned! Uneven gap between the fender and bumper on the left side (1/8 inch gap near the hood and no gap at the fender), a half-inch variance in the height of the hood over the bumper on the drivers side... completely unacceptable! It should have never left Don Joe in this condition, let alone be presented to me looking like that! Hopefully Tesla and Don Joe can get their act together and do the repairs properly this time around.RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY...I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I acknowledge that Teslas are notorious for not having all parts fit perfectly, but mine was perfect. If the new bumper did not fit properly, you should have addressed that with the service center. My car should not have been sent back in the condition in which it was presented. If panels could have/should have been adjusted, that should have been done before my car was returned to the service center. I now have my car back and, while not perfect, it is near perfect. The service center was able to align the bumper to nearly eliminate the gap between the bumper and fender, and to completely eliminate the variance between the hood and bumper.I appreciate that you have a number of good reviews and I am sure that your work in many cases is exceptional. In my situation, the work was not acceptable at all. Im not trying to bash you; thats just a fact. You can insinuate all you want that there was some pre-existing condition related to the factory lines on the car, but that just isnt true. I am sure that you are truthful about doing the work to exact Tesla specs, but if this was your personal vehicle you would not have found the work acceptable either. I am one customer with a bad experience; you have many others that have had good experiences. Lets simply agree to disagree.

Brought my car in for some body work and met with Chris, Jorge and Victor. From the beginning these managers were extremely welcoming and immediately asked if I was ok from the incident. All three took the time to go over any questions or concerns I had regarding the repairs of my vehicle and went over each thing in detail. They were patient, courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. If in need of any body work I highly recommend coming here because the work is done efficiently and is second to none as far as body shops go. I am completely estatic with the professionalism provided by Don Joe Auto Body and you can bet Ill be back again if I need any more work done.

We have been working with Don Joe autobody for about one year now. We are a large scale landscape design firm with fleet of various different size trucks and vehicles. As fleet manager , year I buy several vehicles for service and growth of our company. Each time I acquire a vehicle for our fleet we send them to don Joe first. They do all our painting and branding and might I say they do a fantastic job. From their professional service to their expert paint technicians to their responsive and polite clerical staff, everybody works in complete unison and we receive the absolute best product. I have dealt with many other body shops in the past but I have never had service and precision like this. They have become such a trusted household name within my company that even our employees are starting to use them for their personal vehicles. The process could not have gone more smoothly from beginning to end. I was in and out of there in no time when I dropped off the car, and everyone I dealt with was super nice. The repair was done on time and looked perfect. They were flexible with scheduling the pick up, and all of the paperwork was ready to go. For having to deal with the fallout from a car accident, it was a very pain free experience.

I have used Don Joe Auto Body twice. Both times impeccable service!First time was with the hail Aug 1, 2011. My Ford Explorer had extensive damage across the entire body. They had to take the roof off to fix the hundreds of dents, not to mention every panel, hood, etc. They perfectly put it all back, paint was done so well. All my coworkers came back with many complaints of rattles, warped items, bad paint jobs, dents they could still see. My car - PERFECT. This experience is why I chose them for my most recent item. They have Enterprise right in the shop, to help with rental needs too. I was quoted 5 business days, and sure enough, I got the call exactly on time. Once again, the side panel/bumper they fixed, is point on! (While going about 10 mph stopping, a guy decided to come out of his parking spot, not looking and hit my front.) I cant even tell. I will continue to use Don Joe for every auto body need.
This place was great. My car was hit in a parking lot, and Don Joe Auto took the car in along with Geico for repairs. I asked if by some chance if I was able to get the car detailed while they had the car for repairs. They said sure. Few days later with the repairs being done and the car being detailed. It came out looking brand new. Nearly every little swirl and minor scratch gone. And the repairs to my car, you wouldnt even know it was there. Definitely coming back here for future car details and more.

I brought my car with damage that I thought was too difficult to fix. I was amazed by the wonderful work they did. My car looked new! They made me feel like my car would be in good hands and it was. My Tesla needed some bodywork done on the front bumper and parking censor. Chris, the owner, was very courteous and professional, and Victor knows a lot about Teslas. They did an excellent job. Would highly recommend.

Not the quality body shop that they put out to be. They are a production shop, more like a factory. Their objective is to push out as much cars as fast as possible. My car was here about 8 months ago, a pretty expensive car might I add and now the paint is chipping, cracking and fading. Perhaps the material they use isnt up too industry standards. They have a big facility but I do not know how legitimate it is. They have Geico on site so they have to do jobs fast in order to keep up with their work load. I guess it causes them to sacrifice the quality of what they produce. Nevertheless, I am an unhappy costumer and I will not be returning. Many other body shops in the area, I will visit them. It hurts too see I spent a lot of money on my car and now when I want to drive it, just when the weather gets good, it needs to go back into a shop for repairs. Not happy.

Tesla Syosset took my Model 3 to Don Joe for a repair (they somehow managed to badly scratch my car while replacing the AC onboard charger). I have to admit I am impressed: their job was impeccable and was done in a timely manner. I hope my car wont need a paint job anytime soon but, needless to say, it will go to Don Joe when it does.

I went on a road trip and was rear ended...in my brand truck!!! I chose to bring my truck to Don Joes and spoke to Chris! This is my first accident/auto body experience and Chris made it an awesome experience! In less than 5 days I have my truck back looking as good as new! Unfortunately, have come here a handful of times in the past 20 years. The reason is they make your car look brand new and do not cut corners in any way, shape or form. They really are experts at their craft. I highly recommend them.

From the first moment we interacted with the receptionist, estimator, manager and even the Enterprise rental agent, we told ourselves we will definitely come back if God forbid we get to an accident. Brought in my 2018 BMW 440xi, it had a dent and paint removed by door panel. When I came to pick it up, It honestly looks brand new. I totally recommend to anyone for who are looking for reasonable pricing and great quality of work.

My car was brought to this place by my insurance company after my car was hit. When I picked up my car the tire pressure was low in all 4 tires, there was no washer fluid and get ready for this one, ...my air conditioner was broken! I brought it back letting them know of these issues. They held the car for a few hours and then said it was fixed. A week later I tried using the AC again when the whether got hot and it still doesnt work. Stay away from these guys. They are dishonest and straight up thieves.
They repaired my 2013 4runner in 2015, I have not had an issue with the repair. It looks like the vehicle never had any body work to this day. This is the only body shop I recommend to friends and family.

Unfortunately, I have used other auto body shops in the past. Luckily I found Don-Joe a couple of years ago. They always do a great job in the time frame they give you. Also, unlike other shops, they are organized and honest.

2022-02-15I got a scuff on my Tesla Y while it was in park from a driver who backed in to a parking spot. She never responded to my calls or text or even her own insurance. The damage was too small for me to take this to court, but bad enough where I wanted to get it fixed.Victor and the entire team at Don Joe were very helpful and understanding, and they gave me two prices - one for an entire paint job on the the front bumper and one to try and buff out and polish. A competitor down the street didn’t even give me the cheaper option!In the end, they buffed out and polished the scratch as if it was never there - And the wanted to give me this service on the house! I can’t imagine getting this great customer service at any other shop and they now got a customer for life. They are also a customer local business and I’ll also tell my family and friends about them too!I’ve pasted there before and after to show how great of a job they did!

2021-11-12From the moment i came in until the moment i drove off with my car, Victor kept me updated and guided me through the entire repair proccess. Even polished and detailed my car for me for free. Reccomend this shop to anyone, the service is amazing.

2022-06-22I had the rear door replaced, the rear quarter panel straightened and the rear bumper fixed. I worked with Jay who explained exactly what was needed. The body work is flawless and the paint matches perfectly and is pristine. I am very happy with their work. Strongly recommend them.

2018-02-02Don Joe Auto Body Is one of the best experiences that I ever had at an Autobody shop EVER! First and foremost Don Joe is a family run business since 1950. The feeling of a family owned business is what the owner Chris and ALL his employees offer there customers. Don Joe has the best customer service that a bodyshop has to offer PERIOD! Not to mention the quality of work to match! Very Quick and efficient! They are Tesla Certified Shop as well as a GIECO Auto repair certified shop.Don Joe is also a USAA STARS Certified Shop as well. They take all major insurances and Do Direct Insurance Claims.They serviced all the cars for my and my family!!!The Don Joe Shop is super Immaculate and offers coffee and water for waiting customers.They are Aluminum Trained and Authorized, They provide ENTERPRISE Rentals On Site. and ALL WORK IS GUARANTEED FOR LIFE!!! Which is very rare that a shop offers this but they are very confident in there work.From a Chrysler to a Tesla they do it all!! They are not to far from Queens like a 15 min ride down Northern blvd or not to far from the LIE.

2019-06-25My Tesla Model 3 was hit during a blizzard, substantial rear quarter panel and door damage. Anyone who knows about Teslas knows that getting them fixed can be a long process, thanks to the nature of the cars and parts availability.Geico asked me to use one of their express repair shops, Don Joe Auto Body in Great Neck NY. Not knowing where else to go, I agreed and brought my car in. I was met by a very friendly fellow named Victor, who took excellent care of my car and all of my concerns. He moved mountains to get parts quickly, and was always on top of communicating with me and assuring me that the car was being handled properly (battery being tended during the disconnect period, etc).Despite the fact that I am not the most easy going of customers, Victor was patient the entire way thru. I recommend this shop with no hesitation whatsoever. I hope I never need a body shop again, but if I do, Ill be going back to this one for sure.

2019-12-27I had gotten into a pretty major accident, and was looking on Tesla for a Body Shop when I stumbled upon Don Joe Auto Body.Don Joe worked closely with me in order to get the parts needed for the job, all while minimizing the time I had to be away from my Model 3. Victor was an excellent person to work with, let alone the vibe given off by their entire staff showing how they put the customer first.I got my car back in a timely manner. It feels as if it never had any accident, and looks better than when I picked it up at the Tesla Showroom on Day 1.A+

2021-08-16Don Joe’s recently performed body work on my Tesla model 3 after a collision. The staff was very professional and went above and beyond for me! Vic communicated promptly and kept me abreast of all the repairs and the status of the vehicle. I had a great experience at Don Joe’s the staff really went above and beyond for me as a customer! 2021-10-10We usually use a different body shop but since the ownership changed we decided to try Don Joe since they were a Geico approved business. We liked them. They were professional, did great work and vacuumed, washed and polished the car before returning it, which was very nice.We would use them again. Very satisfied!

2021-09-29Don joe is second to none, what an amazing experience I had with these guys!! Brought my car in after it was hit in the parking lot of my Job. Victor was amazing from the second I walked through the door until the moment he handed me my keys back. My car looked better today then the day I bought it. They washed the car before I picked up unlike other auto body shops where they fix it and hand it back to you dirtier then when you brought it in. Vic works with pride in his work and really shows in the workmanship. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10 what an amazing experience! Thanks Vic 👍🏻

2021-09-27My car was rear ended and needed an authorized Tesla dealership, after calling around and checking out a few shops, my search ended at Don Joe. Dropped my car off to be checked out and from that moment the service was great! My car was taken care of and the repair was perfect!
