I wish I had come to Dr. Alex sooner. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, Dr. Alex and his team make you feel at home as if you were Family. Dr. Alex truly cares about his work and most of all his patients. He is very genuine and takes the time to listen to his patients to make sure they are happy. If you want a Dentist who is passionate and truthful than no need to search anymore - Dr. Alex is your man.
Dr. Alex and his fine staff make the entire visit a pleasure, even the waiting room has great books. However, I cannot say that there is any waiting and I was seen right away. Dr. Alex knew exactly what I needed for my health and my smile and if I wanted to relax there is a headphone and music system. They discuss caring for your new teeth to prevent any problems and I was fitted for a night guard to eliminate grinding. I am confident that this dentist is highly professional and knows of the most recent innovations in dentistry. The staff is calming, efficient and really care. Dr. Alex goes out of his way to help and I am lucky to be a patient.
From the moment I walk into Dr. Alex’s office I feel right at home. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Alex’s office is very high tech with music or videos to watch and listen to with headphones while getting any work done. He explains every process in detail and answers any questions you have with complete honestly. He is so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to any one thinking to see him!!
This was my first visit with Dr. Rubinov. A friend of mine referred me and Dr. Alex and his staff exceeded expectations. They were absolutely great! It was nice to have a dentist who was friendly and thorough in explaining what he was doing. I’m also excited to work with Dr. Alex through the Invisalign process to straighten my teeth. His passion for cosmetic dentistry gave me the confidence to move forward with something I’ve wanted to do for years.

Since moving to the Manhattan area nearly 10 years ago, Ive struggled to find a dental practice that I liked. I tried several and dont believe I returned to any of them for a second go. A friend of a friend recommended Dr. Rubinov about a year ago. Ive found my dentist.His staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The office is clean, modern and the location is perfect. Dr. Rubinov himself is an easy-going guy who makes sure to talk through all your options and makes sure that you feel comfortable with your end decision. The patients experience is definitely important to them - and it shows.
Never have I experienced a level of care and professionalism from a dentist office. I went to Dr. Alex for a consultation because I had issues with my bite and wasn’t happy about my smile. He and his staff made me feel comfortable and spent an extended amount of time reviewing the veneer process and what I should expect. I knew that if even half the level of care that went into my consult was put into the actual work I would be happy with the result. Sure enough the final results have exceeded expectations. He was able to fix my bite and put veneers on that look like they are my own real, natural teeth. I’m a client for life and would recommend Dr. Alex to anyone and everyone who is looking for a smile makeover of any level.
Dr. Rubinov is the best! I had my first cleaning there and was so impressed by the staff. Everyone was so friendly from the moment I buzzed in. Dr. Rubinov is so personable and you can tell right away that he really values his patients. After getting my x-rays done he sat with me to discuss and talk about next steps on how to handle my cavity. Having a dentist you can really trust and feel comfortable with is SO important to me and Dr. Rubinov did just that! I never thought I would say this but I cant wait for my next cleaning.

I highly recommend Alex Rubinov to anyone who needs a dentist. He is a great guy and makes you feel completely comfortable, making the whole dentist experience pleasurable. He is caring and explains all details of the procedures in advance. Most importantly, his staff are kind and attentive always on top of any details regarding appointments and billing. This office always puts my dental fears at ease! He even texted me after to make sure i was ok..he is really the best!!
Dr. Alex and his staff are fabulous. Even though at times you are coming to the office for not the most pleasant things, everyone makes sure you have a good experience. And the work is exactly what you’d ask for and expect from a top notch dentist. Lastly, one of the pieces that I am most appreciative of is there hands on approach with dental insurance and all of the paperwork and back forth. Strongly recommend.
Last week I had my first appointment with Dr. Rubinov. I’ve visited my childhood dentist twice a year for over 25 years and this 1-hour appointment with Dr. Rubinov redefined (for me) what it means to be a great dentist. After seeing his smile makeovers and friendly disposition on instagram, I made an appointment to repair two chipped teeth. From start to finish, it was a first class experience and I left knowing my smile was in great hands.After I finished filling out some paperwork in the lovely waiting room, Dr. Rubinov came out (right on time) to greet me and brought me to the exam room. He looked at my chipped teeth and patiently walked me through my treatment options and the pros and cons of each. He thoughtfully answered my questions and then let me decide which course of action I preferred.I had some time so he arranged to have my teeth cleaned after providing noise cancelling headphones and a remote for me to select an Apple Music station of my choice so I didn’t have to listen to the cleaning tools as the hygienist worked.I’ve never met a more caring and attentive doctor— it felt more like a spa experience than a dental exam. I cannot wait to go back!

I met Dr. Rubinov for a veneer/gum adjustment consult which exceeded all expectations. Prior to meeting with him, I was aware that my teeth are a tough case to fix, but due to the pictures I saw of his work, I believed that if anyone can fix them, it was him. Dr. Rubinov and his team went out of their way to make me comfortable and informed while in the office and financially. I highly recommend Dr. Rubinov and his team for any cosmetic dental procedure you are thinking about.
I was introduced to Dr. Rubinov through a friend, & it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had, hands down! The entire staff is friendly, from the moment you enter the office. I had my teeth whitened, which I was a little nervous about, but it actually turned out to be relaxing... they put music into some headphones, & I laid there meditating most of the time. The most impressive part about Dr. Rubinov: he is very intuitive. You can’t speak during the whitening procedure, but whenever he checked on me, he really understood what I needed. Even gave me a blanket when I got chilly! I’m telling you, he’s an absolute pro. Can’t wait to go back!

Dr. Rubinov is incredible. After going to a handful of doctors i decided veneers were the best option for me. Braces wouldn’t have given me the complete smile I’ve always dreamed about. I had 10 top Porcelain veneers done and I’m beyond happy with the results. My smile is perfectly straight now, wider and whiter. I get compliments daily from my clients and even random strangers stopping me on the street. Something that I’ve been so self-conscious about for many years was easily fixed in 2 weeks. Dr. Rubinov took the time to ask me questions other doctors didn’t bother to ask such as ..what bothers me about my face and lip shape.. how tall I am and my skin complexion. He took all of this inaccount while crafting me the perfect smile. It’s been over a year and I would say it’s the BEST thing I’ve ever done for myself. I’m sad to say I didn’t do it sooner. I’m finally confident in smiling and no longer have to hide my teeth.
Im very skeptical of five star reviews, but when something is true, it must be stated: Dr. Rubinov is one of the few dentists in the country who is truly worthy of five stars. I must say that Dr. Alex’s office is hands down the friendliest medical office I have ever had the privilege to be a patient of. Each one of Dr. Alex’s staff is more friendly and accommodating than the next. They always make you feel welcome and taken care of. Dr. Alex — He is a master of his craft. He listens to all of your concerns and addresses them head on. He is a true artist and a wonderful, caring professional doctor. I highly recommend him for any of your dental needs !

2022-07-20Dr.Alex and his team are amazing 🤩 I’m a traveling nurse and had porcelain veneers done in my home state. Now that I’m here in NYC for a brief time for travel it was really important for me to have the BEST of the BEST to take care of my investment. The office made me feel like home 🏡 in this gigantic city. Very personable and attentive care was given to me from the team and my teeth have never felt so clean!

2021-07-03I just spent 4 hours in Dr. Alex’s office and it felt more like being pampered at a spa that being in a traditional dental office. But more importantly, I felt well cared from a medical perspective. Dr. Alex examined my mouth and noted the problem area. He offered me two reasonable solutions and explained the pros and cons of each. He wasnt pushy and just wanted me to be happy. Nothing hurt. I was extremely comfortable and even fell asleep during the treatment. Dr. Alex has a great aesthetic sense in addition to the mandatory dental skills. I’m happy to be a patient.

His passion for cosmetic dentistry is contagious, and his charisma and love for what he does make me want to take good care of my teeth. He is also super patient, personable and gentle, which make going to the dentist a wonderful experience. I’ve visited a few top doctors in Manhattan over the years and I could not recommend him and his office enough!
